Daylight turned into darkness as Lin's entourage shrunk the gap between them and the southern waters, despite resting for a whole day earlier Mia ended up sleeping on top of Sun's back again after spending a few hours cheerfully clapping in enjoyment as Sun did all kinds of stunts as he ran.

Speed-wise Sun was leagues beyond his previous self, his evasion maneuverability made Lin shake his head at how easy the tiger made it look no matter how hard the action he does.

'beasts really are this world's favourite children like Mia said, just by consuming resources they can leap frog any cultivator. He just reached the other stage while I haven't managed to unblock any acupoint related to the body refinement system yet' Lin thought as he watched Sun keep up with him as they travelled at a high speed south, if they had moved at their current speed before Sun ate the cerberus's core then Sun would've burned out all of his stored energy long ago and ruggedly breathed with his tongue out after drinking all their waters.

"Let's take a break buddy, we'll camp here for the night."

Lin said then stopped at the hill and sat cross-legged to start his soul cultivation, something which he didn't do for days now because of Mia's existence.

"Won't you check your share of the spoils? There's a space ring! Didn't you always try to know more about these tools? Give it a try, see if you can access it."

Jin Bao's voice rang inside Lin's head with a shadow of interest smeared all over his tune, clearly, he was trying to tempt Lin's curious nature and it worked perfectly because Lin opened his eyes to look at the silver ring with a green line coloring it's center from the inside amidst the other items.

Sun dropped the supply box and used his canines to lift Mia by the scruff of her clothes and was about to rudely drop her with a mischievous smirk, but the look on Lin's face made the gargantuan tiger snort faintly and lay her down gently instead.

Before Lin got up, Sun used his claws to gather all the spoils they took from Mia -space ring included- between his claws and walked like a human on his hind-limbs towards his best friend and dropped them all on his lap.

"Y....you!"

Lin flailed his arms to block the falling items from hitting his face and looked at Sun as he wagged his thick tail left and right like a whip with a wooo wooo sound.

"Come-on buddy you just ate enough to sustain you for at least two days, how could you be hungry already?"

Lin knows Sun all too well to understand his tiniest bit of character, once he saw the tiger take the initiative to hand what is supposed to be his property then he's certainly going to ask for something in return.

"Murrr...."

Sun laid down on his back and showed his belly in a spoilt gesture to ask for his much needed second meal in less than a day.

"You can have it raw now or wait up for me to finish my meditation."

Lin squinted his eyes as he looked at the tiger's shoulders where the protruding part grew a few inches in the short span of time they spent travelling south, soft bones started to form and grew up beneath his back muscles and created what looked like another joint underneath this meaty strange protrusion.

"Howl...."

"Oy! Careful not to wake up our sleeping beauty."

Sun tried to grumble and make Lin finish cooking his meal first before meditating, and Lin tilted his head to the side and growled at the tiger to lower his voice.

The sight of Sun as he dropped his head and whine after Lin whose height didn't even reach Sun's knees reprimanded him was a comical sight on it's own way.

Mia was drooling from the mouth in her sleep as she hugged the surface of the ground, her beautiful face and alluring body would make the majority of male cultivators burn with heat of lust.

If these admirers of the saintess's beauty knew that Lin had the fortune to witness Mia in her sleep today yet ignored this once in a lifetime sight, yet ignored it to uselessly try and use a space ring inside the land of forgetfulness which is something proven to be impossible to achieve, surely they'll ridicule Lin as the great idiot of all times.

Picking up the ring from underneath the scattered items around him, Lin held it between his fingers and raised it to his eye level.

"How do I know if I can use this ring?"

"Like before when we first met, drip your blood on the ring. If your martial-spirit is restricted like all of us -normal- cultivators dwelling this land of forgetfulness then you wouldn't be able to see what's inside this space ring. But you'll still feel your connection with the ring."

Jin Bao answered Lin once he asked and waited to see what it will be, if he was in his glory days and someone asked Jin Bao the spirit king if someone can use a space ring naturally inside this land then his answer would've been one word : "Impossible."

Yet after he witnessed Lin day by day use his spirit wings normally and for longer and longer durations as time went, the man known as Soul Demon which his name travelled everywhere in the south continent and east continent until 200 years ago when news of his whereabouts were cut off mysteriously, would answer now with a serious : "If someone can, then this little freak and his shady twin sister are the ones to look for."

Lin pointed the tip of his forefinger at Sun's claw and pricked it, squeezing the very shallow wound Lin caused the drop of blood to fall on the ring in his left hand.

"Here goes nothing."

Lin said and watched as his blood covered a part of the silver green-lined ring.

One second.... Three seconds.... Ten seconds....

Lin waited for a minute for a change to happen, and nothing changed at all.

"Sigh, looks like you have something which can be called normal like the rest of us after all."

Jin Bao said with a saddened tune, in fact he was a bit disappointed because he wanted to witness this well balanced freakishly mature 6 years old boy achieve another miracle for him to witness.

"I can't bound this ring huh, these wings already helped enough...."

Lin activated his wings and made them appear as he spoke, but once his wings came out the ring in his left palm sucked the drop of blood and Lin noticed that some space appeared inside his head.

Like a mental projection which suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

The scene was a large cubic surrounded by glowing green walls!

"What do you see? Can you enter the ring with your mind? Do you see what's inside it? How big is it?"

Jin Bao rained his questions on Lin once his senses picked up the disappearance of the drop of blood, what Lin just did was bounding the ring to himself since the earlier mark got erased once the previous owner died.

Next would be using his spirit or whatever miniscule spirit energy that his wings have in-stored to access the space inside the ring, most of the cultivators would find their ring covered in walls preventing them from entering the ring or seeing what's inside it.

Not to mention leaving their mark on the space ring, any spirit item would turn into scrap metal inside the land of forgetfulness because their spirit and spirit energy would be suppressed thoroughly.

Even space-time cultivators would find themselves suppressed just the same, the chaotic energy covering the land of forgetfulness was very pure and of high level to press down any element other than chaos energy.

Only spirit sovereigns who attained this world's peak were said to be able to push back this land of forgetfulness's suppressive restraint and use their spirit energy for a while, if their tank of spirit energy ran out before they leave then their fate will be to be stuck here until the end of their lifespan without their spirit energy or tools if they couldn't exit.

Full of excitement Jin Bao waited for Lin who closed his eyes and immersed himself in this mysterious space ring to answer.

Lin walked towards this darkness surrounding the green walls which appeared suddenly inside his mind once he activated his wings.

Raising the right hand of his soul body, Lin touched the closest green wall and his touch caused a series of circular ripples to appear around his palm and stretch outwards on the large walls.

Then his hand entered these walls slowly and the walls sucked his body inside like waters swallowing a stone then all the ripples faded gradually and the walls returned to their previous calm afterwards, once Lin's soul body entered fully, the colors of the walls turned from green to yellow and lines of gold swam inside them like a swarm of bees dancing in a field of flowers.

Periodically one spot of dark-gold color would appear fleetingly and disappear after consuming some of the gold lines.

Lin was met with the sight of a stretch of brownish tiles underneath his pare feet reaching 450m ahead and the ceiling was the exact same height, next to his feet to the left was a stack of gold bars reaching 5m high!

To the right there was wooden boxes full of coins of different colors, each box was a cubic meter and the amount of boxes was.... A lot!

Reaching high up until the ceiling of this mysterious place, the coins had a simple design and on top of them was the same insignia of two people sitting cross-legged with a sword halfway in the ground between them.

Each of them was using one hand to hold the sword hilt, and the same strange word written underneath this small picture.

Each coin had it's weight and degree of mystery, it all depended on the color of each coin.

The lowest was the silver coins, the highest is the purple coins.

Just by holding one in his palms, Lin felt the deep perfectly contained strange power hidden deep inside this purple coin.

Ahead was the body of a strange creature which looked like the combination of a crocodile and a lizard but a lot larger, more than 70m long and 30m high with black scales covering all of it's body and red spikes jutting out from it's head, spine, knees and tail.

Despite being dead from a single 1m wide wound on it's forehead, Lin still felt a dangerous threat coming from that beast.

To the side was a large table full of different colored vials and many small transparent bottles containing pills plus a three legged bronze cauldron, next to it was a smaller table full of jades inscribed with strange glowing words which Lin couldn't understand any of their meanings.

In the midst of these jades was a single tome which seemed to be torn in half, made from green leather and it's pages felt heavy to Lin when he tried to flip it open.

The writings were very complex and no matter how hard Lin tried to compare them to any of his universe's civilisations to understand their meanings, he couldn't.

Another chest contained small glowing crystals, Lin felt pressure from these crystals once he carried the smallest one.

Somehow these crystals gave Lin the same feeling of carrying high voltage batteries and nova-fuel, closing the chest lid Lin turned his attention to the last items in the ring.

A stand full of shelves stretching all the way to the ceiling and small wooden boxes neatly placed side by side, stepping on air Lin moved to the highest shelf and opened the box.

Inside there was a single herb with a barbed strand and a full-blown red tulip, despite being in his soul body within the space ring Lin still felt unendurable heat wave fill the area 80m around this tulip and he hurried to close the wooden box.

Next was the clothes which were displayed side by side to the armors and weapons neatly, to their side was a small mountain of unorganized items and clothes of both genders carelessly stacked on top of each other.

Last was a some kind of liquor collection, gourds, barrels, bottles, jugs, cups of all sizes.

'Wanker' Lin thought this single word when he saw the wine taking almost a quarter of the ring's space, food and water were only taking about 10 cubic meters!

"Say something kid!"

Jin Bao awoke Lin from his daze and asked again after the boy stood silently with his eyes closed for 5 seconds without answering.

"Gold, coins of many colors, strange crystals, alchemy tools, herbs, clothes, weapons, liquor, some food and water, and yes I can both enter and see what's inside the ring, it's about 450m wide and high. Oh and there is the body of a dark beast here, tell me old Jin, how can I retrieve or store things inside a space ring? This invention is amazing! I wonder how it is made."

Lin opened his eyes as he replied the extremely excited man trapped in a ring, through his soul link technique Lin felt waves of happiness from the ring when he answered and the rugged breathing of Jin Bao were clearly audible.

"Good, good, good. Hahahaha excellent, to store anything or retrieve it from a space ring all you need is to think of doing it. With but a single thought you can store a mountain inside your ring, in the condition of you being capable of covering it whole with your perception. It's all related to spirit energy expenditure, as long as you have spirit energy to spare then you'll compensate the condition of lifting the object physically inorder to store it inside the ring. Of course to store an object inside a space ring it needs to be free of attachment to other objects, otherwise you'll be trying to store the whole world inside your space ring. Cough, Or so it was explained to me once by a space element cultivator."

After a long explanation old Jin Bao emphasized the lack of personal knowledge of this subject, all he knew was gathered from other cultivators.

"That space ring is a Level 7 space tool, not a bad first ring at all, my first ring was a level 1 with only 7 cubic meters of available space. Hehehe, now you can store your supply box inside the ring alongside your items and carry your pet to travel faster. This little girl abstained from willingly offering you your share of the spoils, I say you don't let your tiger carry her anymore and manipulate her into giving you the other ring. And don't dwell to much on the matter of creating a space ring, that's an unfathomable Dao to those destined to be called Spirit Forgers."

Jin Bao said as he watched Lin store one item after another inside the space ring, of course he didn't forget to encourage Lin to scam Mia if he can.

Conning one another of their wealth was a thing which all cultivators would do if they can, cultivation itself is considered an endless game of wits.

Supply box included!

Frantically Sun sniffed the area searching for his food source -the supply box- and glared at Lin as if accusing him of making the food -which Sun worked hard on hunting- disappear.

"Hehehe, what? Not only can I make your food disappear, I can make everything disappear. Got a problem kitty?"

Lin smiled at the tiger's timid, wary eyes and teased Sun and enjoyed the feeling of pranking his best non-human friend.

"Whine...."

When Lin saw the surrendering tiger crouch down and whine pleadingly he smirked and raised his left hand up and said : "Oh! Not only can I make things disappear, things can appear too. If I want...."

"Thud...."

"Xiaoxi don't hug Sun hug me.... Whoah! What's going on? This!...."

"ROAR...."

Cutting his words short, Lin willed it to make the beast inside the ring appear to his left after returning the supply box.

The gargantuan black beast with it's hill-like body and red thick spikes running on it's back from head to tail made a thudding sound that awoke Mia from her strange dreams once it appeared, expertly Mia's hands stretched to the nearest weapons and was in defensive mood before she even opened her drowsy eyes and jumped backwards.

While Sun's red fur stood at end and he roared at this enemy which fell from out of nowhere, the tiger didn't attack this black fellow and was ready to run with Lin if it tried to move.

But Sun was worried because Lin was very close to the beast, his eyes kept jumping from Lin to the black beast while his intelligent brain tried to find a solution to this situation.

"You're able to use your space ring?"

"En."

Mia threw the weapons in her hands and ran towards Lin and grabbed his shoulders excitedly as she asked, only to find Lin calmly nodding once to confirm it.

"I don't know how these two get their hands on a Beast Lord's intact body, but I don't think they could hunt a beast in the lord realm. Anyway that's all belong to you now little Lin,"

Mia's eyes had noticed the single 1m wide deep wound on this Fire eating Dark-Lizard's vital point, her careless attitude eased up Sun's fear slightly and he gave the exaggerated lizard another look.

"Don't worry buddy, this beast is already long dead."

Lin patted the foot of the lizard and felt it's black scales with his palms as he smiled at Sun's timidness, but he didn't blame him for being afraid.

Lin had a feeling that this lizard can fight the mammoth, scorpion tailed cerberus and the bird his village suffered it's attack twice plus the whole vulture committee and their king combined And come out on top, even if Sun, Moon and their offsprings joined the fight.

The end result will stay the same.

"Growl...."

Still Sun felt creeped and uncomfortableness from being near this beast's dead body, even after seeing Lin and Mia touch it's house sized feet.

But Sun's instincts told him there's another one of these cores inside this black lizard, one core which made his saliva run like rivers.

"Don't think about it Sunny, if you want to eat this one's core you'll have to wait until you reach the Ancestral Beast realm. Otherwise if you ate it right now you'll end up exploding from the excess energy, i'm not kidding here it's very dangerous don't be a glutton you just ate one core and your body is currently filled to the prim without any vacant space for more energy."

Mia stood in front of Sun and opened her arms to block him from doing anything stupid while hoping that Lin would say anything to calm his tiger, Lin gave Sun a single look that said : "no way in hell you're eating that core now."

Sun snorted loudly yet he didn't continue to try and take that big black lizard's core now, he was displeased that Mia managed to stop him from doing something even if it was for his own good.

It felt like Mia can control him somehow, and Sun didn't like to fall under anyone's control other than Lin and his sister in certain situations, say for once if he wanted to do something.... Ehm, naughty with Moon, Lily would be the mastermind whither he likes it or not.

The earlier is his direct owner and the latter is the scariest girl Sun ever saw, now that Mia managed to spout a few words to stop him for the first time from doing anything which he felt curious about, Sun squinted his eyes and turned towards the supply box and released his frustrations on the raw meat slaps.

Puckering her lips, Mia was slightly disappointed because that was a chance to whip that cocky but cute tiger into obedience and pull him under her wing, if that had happened then Mia could become a lot closer with Lin's tamed beast but the tiger managed to avoid her trap somehow.

'Probably his intuition, hrrrrmm.... This journey back is going to take a lot of time anyway, one way or another you'll come to love this saintess like Xiaoxi. My space ring has many spirit herbs which will make your drool flow, let's see if you can resist the temptation at that time' Mia smirked when Sun choose to retreat and planned to make this tiger treat her the same way like he treats Lin in the future.

"Quick, show me what is inside this ring."

Mia gave Lin, Xiangming's ring and asked him with a smile to empty her ring and clapped her hands like a little girl, Lin took the other ring and waved his arm to store the lizard's body back inside his space ring.

Taking something from inside the ring was very easy, storing it back was harder and Lin felt as if his spirit wings reached their limits.

Storing this small mountain sized lizard inside the ring, felt like he just flew all day with his wings tirelessly working at their max power.

Lin felt drained from the inside out and sweat started to ooze from his forehead, not to mention it took more than 15 seconds to store the lizard's body.

After the lizard's body transitioned from the world into the ring's space Lin felt like a weight was lifted off of his shoulders and he sat down to calm his hurried breath, wiping the sweat on his forehead with his sleeve Lin did all kinds of mental calculations trying to find out the suitable size of the object to draw items in and out from the ring in the future without getting his spirit exhausted like it just did.

Not to mention that Lin hasn't caught a wisp of sleep in more than two days now, his spirit always recharged it's energy faster if he slept.

Yet here he is, for many days now Lin didn't stop using his wings and didn't give them any sleep to recharge their energies, add to that the earlier massive consumption of his spirit energy and Lin found himself hitting rock bottom with nothing to fuel his wings.

"Don't force yourself little Lin, rest for now, later we'll see the other ring contents."

Mia was saddened in the eyes when she remembered how Lin hasn't rested at all since they met, yet she the grown up in this group rested more than two times carelessly.

Seeing Lin fatigued and visibly exhausted reminded the saintess that Lin is only 6 years old, she was tricked by his overly mature behavior and attitude which was of someone older than she was.

Unawarely Mia was always behaving reliantly on Lin as the older person and the leader of the group, his charisma affected her and Mia unconsciously turned from a supposed leader to one of Lin's followers.

When Mia couldn't find the strength within to directly apologize to Lin for being neglectful, she sat next to Lin and wrapped her arms around him and tried to hold him in her embrace.

Feeling slight resistance from the boy Mia gazed downwards and was surprised to find Lin blushing obviously in the cheeks, Mia was happy to see a different kind of expression from Lin who was always so serious and practical.

Firmly, Mia used her palms to cling onto Lin's waist and forcefully turned him to face her body, then buried his face in her oh so soft and bouncy chest and wrapped her arms around his waist in a tight hug.

Sun was watching this scene happen in front of his eyes with a wide stare and a gaping mouth full of meat, Lin was never this passive at all when dealing with others.

Lily is the kind of person who can always find your weaknesses to drive you on the back foot and she shouldn't be counted, but now Lin was like a toddler who couldn't move a limb!

"I'm sorry Lin, I didn't notice how tired you was and was neglectful of your state. You helped me avenge myself and get rid of my pursuers, fed me and gave me the same feeling of peace just like how I felt in my sect. You and Sun's company made the bleakness of this land feel like a fun picnic in the gardens, now it is big sister's turn to watch over you. Sunny will you watch over Lin with me?"

Mia looked at Lin's side face as it blushed deeper and felt amused, she used her hands to push away his hair strands blocking the rest of his face from her eyes and gently caressed his left cheek with her finger tips as she spoke.

Lin was experiencing one of these moments where his mind goes completely in an unexplainable freeze, last time he touched boobs were his mother's in his first two years of life and the reason was completely inorder to survive.

Unlike Lily who did breastfeed -and many other shameful acts- entirely for her own reasons.

Now he was buried in Mia's chest and great sage Lin was reminded of the big chested loli Sarah whom he missed the chance to be his in the previous life, more so was how he's currently someone who lived two lives with more than 35 years under his belt yet he's still a virgin.

'How sad' Lin thought as he let Mia lean back her upper body to be his bed and her chest be his pillow.

This world and even his cubs worth nothing in comparison to this little boy in front of Sun's eyes, that's why Mia didn't make any sudden movements and smiled at Sun before closing her eyes to continue her sleep.

The matter with the other space ring can wait until Lin wakes up from his sleep, as for Sun's lack of trust? Mia can handle that with the method of bribing.

That method worked miracles with her Xiaoxi, despite being a complete idiot who wasted away almost all of her wealth on a beast to tame it, her father didn't flinch once when he heard the news.

Sun crouched down as he guarded the sleeping duo and a few moments after Mia slept he started to frown at the stream of comments the sleeping beauty kept saying.

That "Xiaoxi" kept being mentioned in the same sentence with Sun over and over! Then Lin got pulled into the mess, the things he did in the beauty's dreams were "Awkward".

Finally Sun growled at Mia and used his tail to block her mouth for some peace and quiet, Mia seemed to enjoy the fluffy feeling on her face and kept muttering childish sounds or giggled until Lin ended up awake after a few hours of sleep.

Lin was surprised by Sun's action of gagging Mia's mouth with his tail and gave Sun a curious look, Sun snorted then raised his tail for Lin to hear the sleep-talking beauty's wondrous subconscious mind.

Blushing, Lin shook his head and gestured with his head for Sun to return his tail where it was a few seconds ago.

Lin would've never thought that Mia was that kind of person deep down, she seemed to place both him and Sun in a very special place in her heart.

Otherwise she wouldn't speak of them unconsciously for so long and incorporate them into her oh so inappropriate fantasies.

Just now they were having a bath together and Xiaoxi was carrying her on her "Shell" while Sun licked her neck and Lin washed her back....

Trying to get up, Lin found his palms pushing on her soft chest.

"Mnnn...."

The stifled moan from sleeping Mia made the great sage freeze in place and his palms unconsciously squeezed the lumps of fat between his fingers, which caused their round shape to distort and another moan to be released from the green eyed beauty as her eyelashes fluttered silently.

Sun looked at his best friend's awkward attitude with amused eyes and a knowing look, he saw the monks and villagers mating before and he thought Lin was about to do the same to Mia.

"Murrrr...."

Sun nodded to Lin in encouragement then got up and ran east towards the rising sun of dawn's direction to look for any creature to hunt, he wanted to give his friend some privacy.

Sighing, Lin knew that he must've been misunderstood by Sun and tried to release his waist from Mia's embracing arms.

'Why is she holding that tightly to me? And how long is she going to sleep for?' Lin thought as he tried to ease Mia's grip on his body.

"Ehehehe Lin is kissing my neck, Xiaoxi don't be jealous you too can kiss me if you want. Sun you baddie, kisses from the mouth are only for my husband...."

Lin's back shivered when he heard Mia's words and his breathing staggered slightly when he saw Mia's beautiful face blushing up close, he was currently a few inches from her unguarded peachy lips.

Shaking his head from these unhealthy thoughts Lin supported his weight on the ground and slithered his waist from Mia's hold and stood next to her sleeping body looking downwards at her face, she seemed to be uncomfortable somehow after he left her embrace.

"I can't leave you sleeping on the hard floor any longer."

Lin took out the only bed inside his ring then carefully raised Mia from the floor and placed her on the bed, then tucked her under the thin covers and pulled the curtains to block the sunlight.

The feelings which blossomed inside Lin on the previous minutes were rudely cast a side by his practical mind once he placed Mia on the bed and he related them to his lack of experience on the matter of relationships, taking a deep breath to clear his mind from distractions Lin started his daily physical training then sat down to cultivate the soul strengthening technique after eating a light snack, while making sure a part of his mind keep a lookout for any enemy with his spread soul sense.

Now that Sun was away and Mia is asleep Lin had to be the look out.

After finishing his meditation it was way past afternoon and still Sun didn't return, Mia was awake half an hour ago yet she turned and tossed in bed hugging a pillow to her chest with a frown on her face!

'not the same, when I hugged Lin to sleep it felt warmer, calmer and many times more peaceful. Like when mom hugged me, it felt like everything is going to be alright as long as i'm hugging him' Mia thought as she fought the urge to run for Lin and hug him.

She never felt this close attachment to anyone other than her father and her tamed beast Xiaoxi, yet right now she feels like Lin just seized the top place after she hugged him for the first time.

Once she woke up she felt uncomfortable once she found Lin nowhere, as if her heart missed something which she couldn't explain no matter how she tried.

Looking beyond the bed curtains Mia found Lin diligently meditating and she felt proud for him, yet her heart grumbled about how could he be this dense and cruel to leave her embrace to meditate!

Everytime she tried to think about Lin, her heart and mind would give her to opposite thoughts which further drove Mia into confusion.

"Mia, you hungry?"

Lin asked after getting up and patting the dust off his clothes, the sudden question made Mia jump from her bed in a hurry and realise that she's behaving strangely after appearing in front of Lin's eyes.

Mia's confusion was replaced with warmth when she saw Lin's eyes evade looking at her exposed thighs and blushing slightly at the cheeks, she wanted to tease Lin more when she saw his bashful action and Mia intentionally leaned forward to expose the deep valley and the majority of her chest and asked : "Very, but Sun already ate all the meat we have."

"Cough, I see. We have seeds, fruits and vegetables. I can make do with these for a not too bad late breakfast, or do you want to go look for Sun? There's some food in this ring too but i'll have to check if any of it is edible, and that might take some time."

Lin coughed when he saw Mia's white breasts dangle in front of his sight and hurried to turn his head away as he spoke with blushing cheeks that their redness started to spread to his ears and neck, Mia was feeling joyful at how immature Lin was right now that was yet a newer side of this freakishly genius boy.

Mia said then waited for Lin to answer.

"Condition! Why would you give someone a condition to arrange your table? Let's hear it then."

Lin somehow felt a headache coming when Mia raised her right hand forefinger while maintaining her leaning over posture, the teasing smile on her face made Lin very confused.

Because the behavior of this beauty was 90% similar to a maiden new to love!

Lin asked Mia to say her condition while avoiding eye contact, right now he was acting like he's looking for the absent Sun.

Mia rubbed her cheek against Lin's and said that before letting him go.

The intimate action was done so naturally by Mia as if Lin was her own little brother and she's used to taking advantage of him, her attitude was similar to Lily's when she wanted to force her way into Lin's embrace with all kinds of excuses.

Lin noticed that Sun was holding between his sharp fangs the bleeding neck of the vulture king!

His side and back had a couple of long scars which seemed to be caused by the talons and beak of this avian, yet both of these wounds didn't seem to hinder Sun from hunting this unfortunate bird.

Unfortunate indeed, first Lin manipulated it and it's committee to be his frontiers before taking out the assassins.

Then Sun's boredom and the king of vulture's bad luck caused them to encounter each other, if it was before Sun ate the cerberus's core? Then hands down Sun is in the disadvantage.

But, Sun before and after swallowing this second core is like two entirely different tigers.

The vulture king was winning at the beginning of their fight, but Sun was extremely good at evasion and his burst of sudden movements plus the good use of terrain forced the vulture king into a fight in a tight place with little room for it to fly otherwise this cocky tiger will escape.

Add to that how it's minions numbers dwindled and their obvious fear of going into fights which drove the vulture king berserk, like mad the ruler of this territory after the big mammoth died followed it's previous colleague to death.

This time Sun didn't play support and soloed the boss! Not only that, Sun scared the other vultures into fleeing with a mighty roar as he stepped on the vulture king's dying body.

He was feeling good because Sun did use the shrinking ability to escape this bird's fast pierces when he couldn't evade normally, yes, it caused him to burn out his energy faster but it helped the tiger live to see the next day.

Right now Sun was both hungry and proud of himself, as hell.

"You idiot! Why did you kill this poor bird? Wasn't it enough that we caused the death of it's followers before, now you go and hunt it."

Lin flew towards Sun and reprimanded him once he saw him and said with a deep frown on his face, he was sorry for it really and felt that this bird was treated unfairly by him and Sun.

"Snort...."

Sun apparently was displeased with Lin's accusations and looked at Lin stubbornly, he didn't go provoke anyone at all and this black feathery bird tried to gang up on him with others!

Instead of complimenting him for winning or getting worried for him being wounded, Lin reprimanded him instead? If Lily was here she'll be infuriated at Lin.

"Kiss my ass" she'll say with her hands on her hips daringly.

"Well! What happened?"

Lin was patting the vulture king's black feathers which he complimented it on having them before with a sigh then he raised his head to look at Sun and asked.

To apologise this vulture king for what he did, Lin was prepared to punish Sun if he was in the wrong.

"Growl...."

Sun knew that he has to tell Lin otherwise he'll be befallen with punishment, after Sun gestured what happened he watched as Lin smiled helplessly as he looked at the dead body of the vulture king.

Then he shrugged and took to the sky after saying : "Let's go back Sun, you're eating vulture meat today. Sorry for calling you 'idiot' earlier, hurry back so I can tend to your wounds."

Sun was shivering with excitement when Lin forthrightly apologized and raised the vulture king to chase after Lin, what Lin said meant that he's going to cook this bird for him and wouldn't feed it to him raw.

Just a verbal apology isn't enough with Lin, he always packs it with action to offer you each of both worlds.

"You left suddenly after we heard Sun's voice! Did something happen to Sunny? Humph i'll slice them up if they dare bully him, snort."

Mia was standing next to the box looking everywhere, Lin suddenly disappeared after summoning his wings and she didn't get a chance to see which way he left.

With her narrow view of 100m Mia can easily get lost if she left, her best solution is to wait until he returns.

Once Lin returned Mia asked him and his conflicted expression made her judge the situation, coming out with conclusions like all her gender Mia threatened by cutting air with her palms left and right like a karate grandmaster with a wide stance pose and a mean face.

"You can't kill what is already dead, he got found out by the vulture king and it's flock. Sun killed it and received some battle scars, thankfully none of them hit his vitals. Sigh, I feel somewhat bad for what happened to it but I can't blame Sun for defending himself."

Lin shook his head and placed the plates one by one on the table as he replied, that vulture king's fate was sealed as it seems.

It is destined to die at Sun's paws.

Not even Lin could've prevented that, because Sun had the right to defend himself and from what Sun described this king of vultures chased him like a lunatic and was insisting on hurting his tiger.

"He's hurt! Oh poor thing did this dummy scratch you? Your perfect fur what an atrocious sin, stupid brute got what he deserves. Aintcha the strongest thing? Lin just made us some delicious food, want me to feed you?"

Mia looked at Sun's wounds and theatrically coaxed him after double checking that none of them were fatal, slyly she tried to bribe Sun to change form so she can hold him.

"Murrrr...."

Only to feel a chilly gale hit her from the side as the tiger ignored Mia's blabbermouth and drop the vulture king's body in front of Lin and urge him to start cooking it right now, her heart was shattered and Mia gritted her teeth and stomped her two feet until she stood in front of Sun interrupting his moment of groveling to Lin.

Pointing her finger at Sun's nose with a shivering hand Mia said : "I've had enough of your arrogance Sunny, this saintess warned you when we first met. If I can access my space ring I will make you beg me for a hug, Lin, help me take out all of this ring's content please."

Mia tossed Xiangming's ring back to Lin for the second time after threatening Sun who pushed her away and licked his wounds.

"Taking them out is not a problem, but storing them is very exhausting. For how long are you going to delay us? This is just how Sun is Mia.... Sigh, all of it! Stubbornness isn't healthy you know, as a sword user you need to be adept at both soft and hard styles. No wonder your previous fight with Xiangming wasn't balanced between defense and offense, only after that violet aura coated your sword could you fight evenly and win the latter exchanges. Before she went to sit cross-legged on the soft bed, Mia warned Sun but her true intentions were for Lin to hear then she asked Lin to empty the ring.

Sighing, Lin watched Mia draw the curtains close and bound the other space ring with his blood.

"Old Jin never told me how to differentiate between space rings to know their level."

Lin muttered as he entered the cyan-purple walls covering the second cubicle of space that appeared in his brain.

"9m is the maximum space for a level one space tool, next level is graded to be within the limit of double the maximum space of level one and so it goes until level 9 of space tools. From 1m to 9m of space is level 1, from 10m to 18m of space is level 2. The rest is simple math, you're a quick witted kid. Figure out the rest."

Jin Bao said in a lackluster tune then returned to his silence, currently he was more focused on Mia and her sudden withdrawal from a verbal argument.

Which was unlike how she acted usually, the light that floated on her green eyes was full of excitement.

"Whoah! 2,304 cubic meters of space can be available in a level 9 space ring? That's a lot of space, say, old jin, what grade was your best space tool?"

Lin was excited not because his ring was of high grade, but because Jin Bao started to be generous with his words.

Xiangming had more food and water in his ring, one thing caught Lin's eyes at once was the meat and water.

Both as well felt finer and fresher than what he found in Weisheng's space ring.

"Was this Xiangming some kind of a mysophobic person, everything stored in here is spotless clean!"

Lin muttered as he opened the other wooden chest only to find more than a 100 of these beast cores placed inside in 4 piles and separated by a thin piece of silk.

A small table had a dozen or so of these jades full of glowing and moving inscriptions next to them was 5 books, like before Lin understood nothing from them.

Only 6 small boxes had herbs, flowers and one piece of captivatingly brown wood with a single tiny green sprout.

No gold, no wine, no alchemy tools and no colorful coins.

But the last stand full of shelves had loads of tiny bottles, each had a kind of pill inside it.

The higher Lin looked the fewer bottles he found on the next shelf, at the 73th shelf there was a single pill stored inside a small bottle with a cork.

Like a tiny whirlpool in the middle of this cyan-purple pill, Lin swears he saw a sight of a storm full of lightning.

Not your regular silver or white lightening, but deep purple in color and like dragons swimming in waters they took the storm as their playgrounds.

Pulling his sight from this strange pill, Lin found his soul body shivering all over and when he looked back at the pill there was no more of that storm.

The cyan-purple pill was like any other pill in the bottles on the lower shelves.

Calming himself, Lin shook his head and started taking out the items in the ring one by one, only after taking another last glance at the pill at the top shelf to confirm if what he saw previously was just his imagination.

Sun wanted to con Mia of the meat which appeared out of nowhere, but, he stopped himself with sheer will.

Somehow the tiger's danger senses told him that he'll end up being forced to obey Mia if he took her things.

Looking at Lin with hurried eyes, Sun kept trying to help Lin as much as he can by feathering the vulture king, yes he was clumsy when he did it but Sun knew that this will save a few minutes for Lin.

End result, his meal will be served earlier, after all Sun had burnt a considerable amount of energy on his skirmish with the vultures.

He needed that meal, now if possible.

Lin did as Mia asked then took off the Ring and placed it on the table next to the jades and books.

"Old Jin, you there? I've took out all the things in the ring, but, I still feel like I can access the ring after taking it off. How do I sever the connection?"

Lin asked as he started to use his kitchen again to cook Sun's meal.

"It will sting a bit, touch the walls of the space ring and feel your blood. If you separated your blood the bond will be removed."

Jin Bao answered as he watched the containments of Mia's space ring, first thing to grab his attention was the pill at top shelf.

The rest were nothing much in the spirit king's eyes, the armor and daggers were not bad too for a low ranked junior cultivator.

The medicinal ingredients were all more than a thousand years old, and the 5 books were :

One rank 7 cultivation technique for dual cultivators of wind and lightning attributes called : Lightning Storm Dragon.

One movement technique called : Gale Step Thunder Flash.

The other three books were two spirit attack methods and one defensive technique called : Lightning Hurricane Swirl.

Food was done and Sun ate, burped and slept! Yes, the tiger was a bit sad because his third and hard earned beast core were denied from him -for now- but, he enjoyed the whole vulture king's body and delicious meat.

Yet Mia didn't finish her meditation, which was strange because she couldn't sense her spirit energy, use soul energy in this land. Why was she taking that long to calm her mind? That's the only use meditation will be for her in these circumstances!

As he walked around carrying the miniature Sun in his hands, Lin kept watching Mia with his soul sense as she sat still in her cross-legged posture on his bed.

"Old Jin, just what is she trying to do for so long? We're almost at dawn yet she hasn't moved or said a single word."

Lin asked then sat down and placed the sleeping tiger in kitten form on his lap.

"If my guess is correct, then something you said has made her attain sudden enlightenment on her sword Dao."

Jin Bao plain and simply gave Lin his conclusions.

"I was only trying to make her change her mind, now it looks like we're going to be delayed more because of what I said."

Lin smiled helplessly and shook his head when he discovered that his words turned out to be his cause of delay.

"Sometimes, no matter how much you try to prevent something from happening, you end up finding out that you're just a praying mantis trying to stop a chariot at the end."

As if his words were hiding oceans of grief, Jin Bao answered with a tired and weary faint sound.

Lin didn't argue and nodded, his only death was the cause of such cases.

"Omm...."

Suddenly a wave of air pressure that caused the bed curtains to flutter outwards as if a storm just pushed them happened and Mia's sitting body appeared in front of Lin's eyes for the first time in hours.

"Meow...."

"Hrrrm.... Looks like she succeeded, she's about to breakthrough in her sword intent. Hurry and keep away these items from her, we don't know what can happen if we leave anything nearby her."

Sun woke up with his hairs standing on end and glared at this sudden threat which came out from obviously nowhere, then his canines were bared at Mia and Sun planned to stop making this woman who kept making his life harder ever since she arrived from riding his back anymore.

As for the items she gave for her right to a ride? To hell with it she can take them all back, not even Lin can change Sun's mind on this decision.

Jin Bao's command made Lin feel a headache coming and he hurried to move the pill shelves, medicine ingredient boxes, spirit crystal chests and beast cores chest 100m away from Mia, first he moved them 40m away but old Jin insisted that at least 100m or more! He seemed to be hesitant on this matter as if he couldn't get a clear estimation on the size of Mia's breakthrough aftermath.

"That violet aura appeared again, now the bed is ruined."

Lin was frustrated a little because Mia's violet aura which appeared from the right side of her chest, first thing it did was that aura flailing everywhere around it like swords cutting everything in it's path.

Still he noticed that these tiny violet swords passed like ghosts from Mia's body and never harmed her, as if she didn't exist in this world anymore.

One green one violet were the colors of Mia's current eyes, slowly she gripped her fingers around air, once each finger of Mia's right palm was clinched the pommel of a violet sword would appear and form from the hilt to the lower edge of the two edged sword blade and rising upwards until the tip of the completely violet sword.

Slowly lowering her right hand in a cutting gesture, Mia stood up then released the violet sword from her hand once her swing was over.

The violet aura in the shape of a sword scattered into thin air then disappeared once Mia let go of it, and the beauty's eyes returned to their original color with both being green.

Standing on the only 1m intact piece of the shredded to sawdust bed inside the 90m area which saw absolute ruin and destruction from her sword intent, Mia watched the long deep ravin where her previous cut was aimed stretch to the limits of her eyesight which increased to 150m!

"It is safe to approach her now, if you considered her dangerous earlier then know this. Right now she can cut you in a split second as long as you're in her domain of influence, without needing to wield a sword in her hands."

Jin Bao warned Lin of Mia's newfound strength and waited to see what Lin will do from now on.

Mia looked back at the silent Lin and Sun then smiled, for a few seconds the silence ruled the scene and only the sound of falling rocks or blowing wind was heard.

"It worked, your hint made me breakthrough my sword intent which stayed in a bottleneck for years."

Mia felt the visible cautiousness from the boy and his tiger's eyes and said trying to ease up the tension from the air.

"Congratulations, over there is the space ring and what was inside it. Take a look and see, be at ease that we didn't take any of your stuff."

Lin smiled professionally at Mia and pointed at her items to distract her, right now Lin was sure that he's being impolite to the woman.

He didn't ask her about how she's feeling and stood still 100m away waiting to see how she'll behave after attaining this power, Lin saw it many times, people who turn into different personalities after becoming powerful be that financial or militaristic kind of power.

Mia's previous destruction wave had demolished his supply box, and caused many of Xiangming's clothes to turn into shreds then buried them a few meters deep under the rubble.

Mia was saddened by Lin's cold treatment and smiled a sad smile as she tried to convey her harmless nature with droopy shoulders.

Lin shrugged yet didn't move a single step towards Mia and kept watching the beauty's expressions.

Mia noticed that her attempts only made Lin watch her more carefully and warily.

Turning towards the items in her ring Mia jumped from rock to rock across the countless canyons that her sword intent outburst caused, she kept grumbling about how unfair Sun and Lin were treating her right now and how she was planning to hug and kiss them all over yet they coldly watched from afar.

The torn clothes didn't bother Mia and she didn't feel sad for losing them, she didn't even second glance at the crystals and precious stones decorating them when she stepped on them.

First thing she did was check the pills and only nodded and gave a slight hum when her eyes fell on the pill at top shelf, flipping the books in her hand she returned them back to the table as if they were nothing important and the jades were left untouched.

The high grade spirit crystals chests were opened then closed at once without Mia touching any of them, then a glow lit up Mia's eyes when she saw the beast cores lined inside the third chest.

Grabbing one of the smallest cores Mia raised it up from the chest for Sun to see and smirked evilly as she said : "Here kitty."

Sun, who was lazing around in Lin's palm with amused eyes watching Mia lonely and emotionally neglected, stood up at full attention with his eyes glued to the red core in Mia's hands.

His tail which was wagging previously stood up like an antenna and the tiger like a hypnotized creature took a step forward before an electric current ran through his body and his muddled eyes cleared up, with all his power Sun stopped his body from taking another step and looked at Lin.

"You can't eat anymore beast cores buddy, it is yours and I can give it to you now but do you promise not to eat it until I tell you so?"

Lin knew what Sun wanted and raised an eyebrow as he spoke, he was trying to teach him a lesson to not be greedy.

If he tried to play that childish game with Mia, then he's bound to lose.

After all Mia has more than a hundred of these beast cores in the chest next to her.

Sun licked Lin's palm to show his agreement then sat on his butt to look back at Mia as if saying : "you have one, I have one here and another in my buddy's ring."

Lin did his part of the agreement and brought out the black core he found in the vulture king's head.

Mia in turn smiled broadly at Sun's action and said in her foreign language : "if that isn't enough for you to play, then have some more." And bent over and brought what her hands could hold and straightened her back and let the beast cores fall carelessly left and right.

Sun who thought he won was staring agape at the falling cores then back at his lone core and stared back at Mia's smile which made him feel like he just ate shit for breakfast.

Jumping from Lin's palms, Sun changed form and roared loudly at this bitch who kept being a pain in his ass just by keeping their company.

Again and again Mia kept trying to control Sun, he refused again and again just for her to stop trying to take Lin's place in his heart with her attempts.

But she kept trying and trying again, he had to teach her a lesson.... Ehm, wouldn't be bad to snatch a few cores while he's at it, right!

"Hey, don't pick a fight with others for no reason! You wouldn't be eyeing her cores, are you?"

Lin saw it coming miles away and was prepared to stop Sun first thing if it happened, that's why when he saw Sun leave his palms he hurried to block his ears and said once the deafening sound wave disappeared.

Sun was like a person doused with icy water in his sleep, he stopped once he landed and unwillinglessly looked at Mia's smirk then pushed hard against the unstable stones underneath his large paws then ran out from camp west to go hunt anything to unleash this stifling feelings of rage welling up within his chest.

Sun was infuriated, not because he couldn't take Mia's cores but because of his own weakness.

He knew that it would be harmful to him if he digested any other core right now, and his gut told him that he's still weak.

If he was strong then consuming any core wouldn't harm him, he needed to eat and eat for now.

Mia looked at Sun as he left with a teasing but in pain smile while picking her ears to ease their sting then turned to Lin and again intentionally spoke with her mother tongue : "Lin, you are still going to ignore me."

Lin sent with his soul link technique and kept watching Mia from afar, he was thinking about Mia teaching him her language to check the content of the things in his ring earlier.

Now that she started to forget to relay her message through the soul link technique, then Lin can use this strange situation to learn her language.

The lack of pictures was unneeded because the explanation more than compensated for that, and Lin was enjoying this book very much right now.

Mia on the other hand was grumbling endlessly because Lin learned her language in three hours! She took 3 years, she felt like as if Lin had gave her self-esteem another sneaky kick in the gut to punish her for teasing Sun and angering him earlier.

"So what if he's a genius, humph, I discovered my weapon intent at the age of nine. He's already six years old and can't use a weapon, at the same age I was able to master the basics of swordsmanship."

Mia fisted the palm of her hand as she discovered finally something which she actually beats Lin's records at.

That satisfied her inner egotistic feelings and calmed her irritation slightly, she grabbed the short sword and started to do some sword routines on an empty stomach.

That was something to cause Mia to endlessly blame herself for destroying the supply box with each swing she took in her sword dance, Lin multitasked as he watched the area, watched Mia's slightest movement and dissected her techniques, learned about the herbs of this world and knew a slight part about pills and their uses as a bonus.

To Lin, this journey was becoming a lot more enjoyable now that he found an access to a source of new information.

To Mia, it was a complexity of having fun and dealing with arrogant brats.
