But her attempts failed in the end, despite being fatigued and exhausted Sun didn't submit.

He stubbornly glared back at Mia and kept threatening her by exposing his canines and creating long lines with his claws on the ground, finally Lin had to intervene and calm his friend while giving Mia a look.

"Tsk, such a hardheaded kitty. No problem, I still have a trump card up my sleeve."

Mia crossed her arms and stopped bothering Sun anymore, but her intention to not give up yet on making Sun adore her was clear.

"Lin, see if you can bypass my spirit mark on this space ring. If you can, then you'll find a platform with 9 tall stone pillars inside, bring it out alongside the boxes next to my clothes. It's about time that I confirm if what you said about awakening your martial spirit was true, and of course, to show Sunny here who is the most generous saintess of all."

Mia puffed up her cheeks and puckered her lips when Sun kept blocking her attempts to get even a single hug, then took off her own space ring and threw it towards Lin and asked him to open it.

Her intentions were clear to Lin, Mia wanted to use the candy trick to bypass Sun's guard towards her.

Previously she mentioned that more than once but she seemed to be hesitant about letting Lin see the inside of her space ring, but now after things were cool with Lin and her newfound feelings of adoration towards the boy were confessed.

The saintess was okay with Lin taking all of her possessions if he liked right now, and it will be okay with her if he did.

Grabbing the tossed ring on his right palm, Lin instantly noticed the difference between this ring and Weisheng's and Xiangming's own.

Mia's space ring was more delicate and finely dotted with precious gems, clearly made to suit a woman's taste.

"Don't keep staring at it, try now. This bad kitty is having a temper and avoiding me on purpose, and this saintess doesn't like his high and mighty attitude. Humph, I have many spirit fruits which he'll certainly drool all over the place once he sees them, unlike the fire tulip you found which Sun can't consume without risking to explode from the berserking energy, my spirit fruits are both mild and perfectly digestible for any demonic beast or higher in rank."

Mia urged Lin to try first before admiring the fine craftsmanship and quality of her space ring, while giving Sun her mean face in return childishly after he went to the side and marked a boulder with his pee as a part of his territory carelessly.

Her threats didn't phase the tiger at all and he kept giving Lin a disappointed look as if saying : "I warned you about her trap yet you still fell on it anyway, dummy." Which made Lin snicker at how mature Sun was acting as he shook his head and went to sit under the shade with his thick tail sweeping the ground behind him with it's end.

An action which indicated how on edge the tiger was right now.

Using the tip of one of the weapons in his ring Lin pricked his forefinger and dripped his blood on the third space ring so far, the action of using a space ring became natural to him and surprisingly his brain which tended to be overthinking the tiniest bit of details.

Didn't wonder any far with it's thoughts before focusing on the second cubic space to appear in his head, after Lin severed his connection to Xiangming's space ring the only one to remain in his head was his own yellow covered space.

Now Mia's own appeared and unlike the previous two who originally had either green or half cyan half purple walls, the walls covering this third space ring were colorless and clearly invisible yet, Lin still couldn't see what lies behind them!

Lin thought as he stretched his arm to touch these ethereal walls.

"Hrmmmm...."

Somehow Lin felt the ring trapping old Jin Bao vibrate extremely faintly when he tried to access Mia's ring with his soul body.

"Old Jin, what are you trying to do? This is Mia's private space ring, don't you peek inside without her agreeing to it. It's rude."

Lin sent with his soul sense in a firm tune that wouldn't tolerate these actions.

Not only was he attracted to her, even if he wasn't, Lin still would prevent it from happening if he can.

The great sage always had such principles and bottom lines, despite their simplicity, without them Lin wouldn't consider himself a human being.

He'll only deserve to be called a great sage if he upheld them, without them all his vast knowledge would be meaningless.

Touching the invisible walls, Lin felt resistance from them as if they were fighting against his intrusion, when he pushed it, the walls acted like rubber and only stretched inwards.

"This is fascinating."

Lin wasn't discouraged when his initial try failed and kept floating everywhere around the walls and doing multiple experiments and seeking to enter from somewhere else.

Mia watched Lin's face frown and she felt like she's hurrying the events a bit too far, Xiangming and Weisheng died that's why their spirit marks were severed from their rings and it was easy for Lin to erase the residue off easily.

While she's alive and her spirit mark still connected to her primordial source of spirit energy, that's why despite her spirit energy being suppressed Lin doesn't seem to be to forcefully remove the spirit mark she left on the space ring which her father gifted her on the day she turned seven years old.

If Mia could use her spirit energy she would've brought out the items herself or severed her spirit mark to make it easy for Lin to see what's inside.

"Don't tire yourself out Lin, you said we'll reach the ocean in a couple of days. I can endure Sun's naughtiness until we exit the great space barrier."

Shrugging her shoulders in disappointment Mia called Lin to stop trying to force his way inside her ring, this incident made Mia remember that her cute dao companion is still a kid who can't be considered a spirit cultivator yet.

Lin's mature calmness was deceiving her eyes and the facts tended to be confusing Mia's judgement, while around Lin, she kept having this feeling of trusting the kid to be capable of doing anything.

Lin heard her and gave Mia a nod but he didn't stop what he was doing, he carefully enjoyed the feeling of getting repelled back after each try.

While pushing the invisible walls he noticed that the stronger his push were, the harder the force bouncing back at his soul body.

"What a strange energy! Without focusing at it you wouldn't notice it's existence, and mixed within it is sharp force threatening to cut my fingers away if I pushed any further."

Lin mused the experience he had with these invisible rubber walls as he looked at his soul palm which felt tingly, then he decided to try one more before he quits.

Pushing hard with both palms Lin made the invisible walls contort in shape inwards like a ball getting stabbed with a pointy object, the resistance started to threaten to cut his skin which was illogical since his current body was supposed to be his soul.

The curiosity of how to cut something which is immaterial in the first place alone, was enough for Lin to seek an explanation if possible.

"Hngh.... This is proving to be hard, and it started to become somewhat scary. I guess I can't enter then."

Lin felt an army of soldiers ready to slash and rip him apart from the walls he pushed back for a few meters, just when he made the decision to retreat, the imaginary army whom he felt threat from, like ghosts they materialized in the shape of girls with similarities and extreme resemblance to Mia's then bounced at Lin with the swords in their hands.

"Whoa.... All of them aren't holding back at all and going for my vitals from the get go!"

Lin tried to get away from this sudden danger and his first action was to flap his wings to widen the distance, but here wasn't the material world but his inner body and his soul body never had wings.

All of the ghosts in the shape of Mia or her younger self didn't hesitate to pierce, slash, chop or cut at Lin in the split second of delay that happened.

Seeing the girl similar to him in age at the very front of the group of ghosts, the youngest Mia was aiming for his neck with a pierce and almost about to succeed in touching his throat with the tip of her sword.

Surprisingly, all of the ghosts held a sword from the same or slightly different invisible energy like the walls, or so Lin thought.

But he didn't have much time to point out the differences because after leaning his upper body left and managing to avoid the first sword, Lin didn't get any chance to step back and had to hurry and bend over to let the second sword cutting at his right shoulder fly above his back and miss his head by a few millimeters..

The attacks from these ghost Mia's were linked and in sync, and Lin only managed to retreat two steps after avoiding a few dozen swords.

The distance of a few meters never felt so far to Lin in his life, especially if they were joined by this scary threat.

Despite knowing and seeing all the attacks coming his way, Lin still couldn't retreat in a hurry because the genius-ness of the formation surrounding him.

Each attack was both fast and precise, leaving no room for Lin to maneuver.

'I can't get out without getting hit at least once, so that's how it feels to be on the receiving end of Mia's offence. Her sword is both soft and aggressive with too little openings being exposed, I doubt if even I can win this youngest version of her without relying on my wings. Anyway, since I'm bound to get hit then the one my age is the best candidate. I just hope they don't follow after I leave this zone' Lin made up his mind after seeing no end to the string of sword attacks, perfectly calculating the incoming attacks he prepared to receive the chop on his palm instead of his shoulder.

Little Mia with her adorable face didn't match the cruelty of her sword attack, and just before the edge of the invisible sword was about to descend on Lin's palm.

He saw a vague violet color muddy her green pupils and his previous sense of threat got doubled, Lin again for the second time reflexively relied on his wings to try to avoid the attack instead of receiving it with his empty hand and hoping to divert it away from his body.

Just yesterday Lin watched Mia cause ruin to a wide expanse of land with her sword intent, now that this little ghost had access to such power Lin changed his plans to all out fleeing.

He didn't dare think of meeting that power head-on, but without his wings Lin was very slow.

And his speed of retreat was losing to the invisible sword inching closer to his body, the ghost Mia fluidly changed her attack pattern and her chop changed into a thrust aiming for Lin's heart and was about to pierce his soul body.

If Lin didn't do anything right now then he's going to experience pain like never before, that was what his intuition told him.

'since I can't avoid it then I better minimize the damages as much as possible, my neck is stiffening just at the mere thought of getting hit by this little girl' Lin made up his mind and lunged with an angle to the right and watched the invisible sword in the hands of the youngest of ghost Mia's pierce his left arm.

First he felt nothing at all, then once his body left the premises of the invisible walls and his upper left arm detached from the little girl's sword.

Lin felt like his soul body missed the left arm and lost it in the invisible walls.

Mia was surprised to find Lin's face pale suddenly and his right hand clutch his left upper arm as signs of agony appear on his complexion, sweat dampened his clothes and he gritted his teeth to endure.

Alas, the dose of pain was overwhelming and surpassed Lin's endurance limits.

"Ughh...."

Uttering this grunting sound despite trying to stifle it made Sun panic and cross the short distance separating him from the in pain Lin, when Mia awoke from her shock and tried to approach Lin she found Sun glaring daggers at her with a suicidal glint in his eyes.

The message was clear to the saintess who caused this mess, if you dare take a step forward then I will rip you to shreds.

The ongoing outside was the least of Lin's worries right now, because after he got hit with the invisible sword his left arm started to get numb.

And he lost the ability to use it from below the shoulder to the fingers, it became limp and infested with agonizing pain.

As if trillions of miniature swords were chopping at every cell of his left arm!

Standing outside the invisible walls and looking at the little ghost girl with great resemblance to Mia fade away gradually while glaring at him with these green eyes, he was reminded again of his vulnerability inside this world.

Current problem is the increasing pain in his left arm which is driving him crazy.

When the pain ascended to the unendurable levels and he was about to surrender to the dizzying pain in hope to lose consciousness, Lin was surprised to find the pain halt it's advance then disappear all together.

Yet he couldn't move his left arm.

"How come my wings exist in this mental place?"

Lin asked Jin Bao with confusion while looking at his left wing wrapping his left arm, the feathers sent yellow light which moved from the left arm then travelled at Lin's back then settled at the right side of his chest.

"Your spirit existing in your soul vision means your spirit has soul nature besides it's elemental nature, I hope you take what happened here as a lesson learnt the hard way. You're a person born with many blessings and with the deepest supply of hidden potential, yet you can see how vulnerable you can be in the earliest stages of your life. Jin Bao seemed to be still thinking of the cause of the earlier earthquake which hit the space of the ring trapping him, but he reminded Lin to remember this incident and keep aware of his safety in the future.

After all, Jin Bao was helpless and had no way to stretch a helping hand for Lin if he needed help, without this mysterious formation understand him then Jin Bao's weak feeble soul would scatter and fade into nothing in the outside world in less than a weak.

He asked Lin to describe what happened after his wings appeared inorder to understand some abilities of his mysterious martial-spirit.

"The pain disappeared yet I can't use my left arm, and there's a line of yellow moving on my back from the left arm to my right chest directly below the collarbone then disappearing."

Lin sent as he opened his eyes and patted Sun to calm him then gave Mia an assuring look, walking towards the anxious saintess Lin handed her the ring and sat down looking at his left arm.

Nothing was different with his arm beside it being paralyzed, and Mia noticed the left arm dangling back and forth as Lin walked towards her and tears filled her eyes.

"Weapon masters mentioned something about this area of the body being the source of all intents, we'll figure out something if this disability didn't get fixed after your spirit wings intervention."

Jin Bao wasn't worried at all and seemed to be pleased to find Lin experiencing hardships.

While Mia ignored her precious space ring which is the closest it can be to an inheritance tool and sat next to Lin and wrapped him with her arms, once she touched his left arm Mia was surprised to find the same sword intent which couldn't be more familiar circulating the boy's arm.

"Dummy...."

Mia said that and in fact she was calling herself that instead of Lin, she remembered that once her father gifted her the ring he made her infuse it with a part of her martial-spirit and sword intent to act as a defensive measure.

And Mia simply forgot about the whole matter after discovering the grade of the ring and how much space it had, 2299m of space only 5m less than a peak level 9 space tool.

Lin saw how Mia was devastated emotionally and tried to ease her, but the beauty hugged him harder and closed her eyes while holding his left arm in both palms.

She didn't answer him and seemed to be very focused and concentrating on something.

Gradually Mia's face reddened and her hands shivered while her breathing became chaotic, Lin didn't hesitate to slither out from her hold out of worry when he saw how much struggling Mia was in.

"Why isn't it responding to me? I can feel my spirit and sword intent energy in your arm but they're ignoring my calls no matter how hard I tried."

Mia said that while her chest heaved up and down, her tune clearly showed how puzzled and unwilling she was.

Lin nodded but didn't say anything, he kept the fact that his wings forced this strange energy fusion in his arm under control once it wrapped his left arm a secret.

First he summoned his wings to make sure they're functional then gave Mia a single handed hug to ease her worry then raised her with his right hand by the butt and flew up to continue south, Mia was conflicted between feelings of guilt and adoration for Lin right now and conveyed that by hugging him as hard as she could.

As if by doing that her guilt would lessen and Lin's suffering would decrease, she felt helpless on the matter and she hated herself for being impatient.

"Everything is going to be alright, don't overthink things and worry needlessly. I was the one who didn't heed your advice and kept stubbornly trying to enter the ring."

Lin said when he saw Mia biting her lower lip in regret while rubbing her cheek to his as if trying to apologise for being negligent and forgetting to mention the line of defense on her ring.

Seeing Lin trying to comfort her worry instead of getting angry at her for being the main reason and cause for what happened, made Mia's heart dance with glee and warm feelings flood her chest.

Her adoration towards the boy doubled and whatever remained of her hesitation was scattered, Mia's feelings toward Lin were prone to outside effects before this incident and could be translated as nostalgic attraction because of earlier similarities between what she felt near her late mother and Lin.

But after what happened, Mia can not be budged on her intimate feelings towards Lin.

The personification of her ideal partner got built around Lin's character as she interacted with the boy, but his gentle caring nature was what got him to occupy her heart.

The glare he kept giving Mia threateningly reminded Mia of how charismatic the boy was, his loving personality managed to draw both man and beast to adore him.

If only had Mia knew more to the secrets Lin had, then she would've avoided lots of future sufferings by not doing what she did.

But that's all to be told in the future when the agreed upon reunion happens.

When darkness overtook the skies Lin stopped to make camp for the night and Sun dropped the animal he just hunted at Lin's feet as an offering, despite Sun's intelligence there was a certain ridiculous thing about him which didn't change since he was a cub.

Food solves everything, if you're tired eat then you'll be fine, if you're suffering from insomnia eat and it will make you sleepy, etc.

Naturally he meant with his offering : "eat and your arm will be alright in no time buddy."

Lin smiled at this gesture and accepted the tiger's gift, he only did accept it and eat whatever he could from it to ease the tension from Sun a bit.

Then he gave the remainder to Sun after he and Mia ate their fill, and snickered when he saw Sun being uncomfortable to be eating what Mia left.

Of course he didn't expose the reason to Mia who tried to pamper him by washing him in their joint bath, like a maid the saintess of one of the five great sects was rubbing his back and attending to his needs.

If such news travelled to the spirit world then countless people would search for Lin to torture and drink his blood, at the head of them will be sword sovereign himself!

Lin understood why his father would be so smug whenever his mother invited him to the bath of her own will, this feeling isn't that bad.

Lin felt like teasing Mia and asked while playing with her chest and squeezing it into deformity, he never thought this action would be that addictive.

"Ehn, very dearly. Mia will count the days until you visit, but if you dare leave me hanging for longer than five years.... Then.... Then I will torture this one. I know that you men treasure this member more than an arm or leg. Tehehe."

Mia turned from a meek kitten to a ferocious tigress and threatened Lin by holding his penis and sack of balls with a dangerous squint and scary smile, Lin felt shivers running on his lower back and didn't question the validity of what Mia said.

By nightfall Lin stopped at the shore of the great ocean and the largest mass of water on this world, they say the inner part of the great ocean is merely a small puddle compared to the outer part.

The inner part means the water surrounding the land of forgetfulness and connecting the land of forgetfulness with the four continents, whilst the outer part means the waters stretching endlessly outside the circle on the map combining the four continents and the land of forgetfulness.

Mia was never that happy when the ocean waters touched her feet, she almost cried when the salty taste of the water was confirmed by her tongue.

Taking off her clothes the saintess didn't mind the scary darkness of the waters and walked in until the water reached her chin before she stopped and enjoyed the feeling of the waves pushing her wherever the current was.

Lin related this behavior of Mia to prisoners doing the same despite being on a tight schedule after escaping, ocean always had a hidden effect on washing away negative emotions.

Silently Mia exited the water and entered the bathtub Lin filled with clear water and rested her head on the edge, saying nothing at all she kept staring at Lin's face as he meditated.

Her loved ones could be summarized in three people before entering this land, a deceased mother, a sad father and a forgetful pet.

With the addition of Lin and his spoilt tiger, Mia was happy.

Happy when she remembered how much suffering she experienced in these two years, happy whenever she thought about the schemes of Katherine and how they pushed Mia into meeting Lin.

Mia was grateful for the whole experience and closed her eyes to sleep while feeling peacefulness, positive calmness and hope for a future so bright.

Lin answered then returned to his training of the soul strengthening technique, he was focused on the soul gaze technique and his execution of the technique was improving rapidly over the days.

Just yesterday Lin succeeded in stretching his soul sense straight forward for 4km, double his normal soul sense radius.

Still to be considered with an initial success, Lin has to achieve triple the distance he's capable with his normal soul sense.

"Soul gaze huh.... Instead of soul sense which is similar to a ripple effect of a droplet hitting the surface of water, soul gaze is like a straight focused transmission unlike the omnidirectional soul sense. That's why it strains the third eye and take it as the sole point capable of actually seeing afar, the inventor of this soul strengthening technique really outdone himself. Lin muttered as he closed his vertical silver eye to rest then slowly made a fist with his left hand, he felt slightly unwilling to part ways with Mia but he had to.

Getting up he went towards the bed then taking off his clothes he cuddled up with the sleeping saintess and took his rest for the last night while enjoying the soft touch, tomorrow he'll carry Mia out of this land then they'll part ways for a time.

Before dawn, Mia was the one to wake up first and she kept still afraid to awake her little monster, watching his immature face and small body the saintess couldn't stop smiling as she tried to predict what changes are going to happen to her lover as he grows up.

The idea of Lin someday hugging her and doing some more other than just kissing and groping her body made Mia's face blush hard and embarrassment caused her to reflexively stretch her hand and pinch his side while whispering : "if you dare bully me when you become a man, humph."

"Ouch.... Mia I'm up, let go it really is a sensitive place."

Lin was like an electrocuted person as he jumped out in shock, first thing he said was to appease the woman because her fingers were starting to twist!

He didn't care for the reason right now and his priority was to stop the waves of pain from getting more painful, he gave Mia a smile with a cringing face which made Mia stifle her laughs which threatened to burst.

"Bfffft.... I'm really sorry, does it hurt? I don't know why I did that really, I suddenly felt mad at you and I kind of reacted without thinking."

Mia gently caressed where she just pinched and was partly blaming herself for spoiling the sight of Lin in his sleep and partly pleased with how Lin quickly hurried to raise the white flag, all in all she had no regret whatsoever in taking this youngster as her beloved.

Lin looked at the angelic face as it broadened in an apologizing smile and frowned upon knowing the confusing reason which startled him out of his sleep, but he wasn't angry at all at the saintess for what she did.

Just confused about the working of the female mind.

'maybe if my abilities got improved I will discover a hint to unlock this mystery in the future, which one will it be I wonder? Will it be body, soul or maybe spirit that will enable me to the understand how they think' Lin thought as he got pulled into Mia's embrace and smelled her intoxicating scent.

Mia was amused by Lin's confusion and liked how despite his brilliance he isn't able to peek at her deepest secrets, despite how simple they were!

She liked him, that's all.

Getting impulsive and carried away by her emotions was a sign of love, but she wasn't aware that the existence of Lily had it's toll on Lin's view of all females.

He tended to overthink things whenever dealing with any female because of the few years which he lived with overcomplicated Lily, now that caused him to miss the simple truth and delve deeper with his thoughts on the true cause of Mia's actions.

"Take me out of here, even if it is your home will you hate me if I said I don't like this place?"

Mia asked while poking Lin's nose, she was eager to leave as soon as possible and didn't want to wait for breakfast.

Her breakthrough in spirit energy is delayed enough already, more than two years with Mia stuck as a peak stage nine spirit grandmaster cultivator with her spirit energy suppressed thoroughly in the land of forgetfulness means that her energy has been purified and concentrated every day she spent in this land.

She was sure that all this bottled up energy is sure to burst out all at once when she regains her ability to communicate with the elements, at least Mia was going to shot through three sub-realms or more!

Not only has she broke through her sword intent and managed to materialize it into tangible force, but once she fully achieve the next breakthrough in spirit energy as well then the fusion of both forces will enable Mia to go head to head with any peak spirit tyrant cultivator easily and transcend realm to fight low grade spirit lords when she reach the peak of the spirit tyrant realm in the future.

Only monsters among monsters can stand their ground against higher realm cultivators, Mia having the fortune to be one of these geniuses made her eager to flaunt her powers in front of this freak of nature amongst freaks of natures.

Which is an entirely different level of formidable-ness.

Mia was afraid to even imagine what Lin could do if he reached the peak of his potential on all fronts, basic estimate would be him trouncing every cultivator in the same realm no matter how high the realm was.

He had to get a clear agreement from the airhead right now, for days now he tried to advise Mia of how much she was dealing wrongly with the tiger.

In fact Lin found dealing with Sun to be the easiest thing in the world all you had to do was block him seriously from being unreasonable or to teach him the right rules of interacting with humans, treat him to nice meals when he's being obedient and reprimand him when he's following his basic instincts.

Such behavior started to fade away once Sun ate the mammoth's demonic core, his ferocity started to get covered by a certain curiosity to the world.

He only showed it (ferocity) for a basic instinct before, like hunger or to protect his territory or family (as of Moon and Lin's family).

Now however, Sun started baring his teeth in ferocity towards other formidable species to test his capabilities, as if searching for the secret why other monsters north of Lin's village were similar on size but incredibly faster and stronger as well.

Like how Lin was seeking answers to the incredible mysteries of this world, similarly Sun was looking through his a bit narrower vision at his own reason for existence.

As if it is the basic truth of life, all creation seek the dao in their own ways.

And similarities between any of the races exist, you just have to look closely.

"I won't bother him I promise, after we settle down outside there will be enough time to make him grovel. Right now I just want to be close to you, Lin is in the first place after all, grumpy Sunny doesn't deserve my precious love, for now. Tehehe"

Mia stopped Lin's train of thought in it's tracks with a tight hug and an obedient nod.

Storing their bed and other items in the ring Lin walked towards Sun who sat at the shore letting ocean waters wash over his body and staring at the endless water mass ceaselessly wave and crash at his feet, when Lin arrived next to him the tiger nudged him with his wet with sea water snout mischivously.

"Good to see that you're in a good mood buddy, we'll be flying together next. I need you to be cool, tell me big fella, are you cool? Hey, look at me when I'm talking to you, it is rude to look the other way. You know that you'll have to solve these issues you have with Mia someday right! She's to me like Moon to you, just a bit childish and naughty I know but she's a lot less annoying compared to Lily to be fair. Anyway, Mia told me she wouldn't bother you anymore. You okay with her joining the ride under these terms?"

Mia stood behind the two and watched Sun act proudly and Lin gently reprimanding him like a little brother being hardheaded and stubborn, then Sun gave her a stare with his yellow eyes before making a purring sound of agreeing then he jumped up and cutely shook his red fur to scatter droplets of salty water on both of her and Lin.

"Now I'm all wet...."

Mia said as she looked down at her dress which stuck to her heavenly body, she did her best to stop herself from repaying the naughty spoilt tiger for what he did by splashing water back.

Lin noticed a few twitches on the far left of Mia's eyelid and looked at his shoulder where Sun perched and innocently licked his right front paw, turning towards Mia, Lin gave his home and birthplace of this life a final look and the events of the second life of more than six years replayed at mega speed in his head as he took the few steps towards Mia who stuck her tongue daringly at Sun.

Carrying her Lin gave a final sigh stifled with emotions before summoning his wings and jumping up and heading south at his fastest speed of flight, he had no regrets and many more unsolved mysteries yet to be answered here in the land of forgetfulness.

His rebirth, Lily.

'Someday for sure I'm returning to get my answers, first I need to know what I'm capable of' Lin thought as he felt the arms of Mia surround his neck and the furry tail of Sun tickle his neck, both of them were looking at Lin silently and enduring the cutting wind hitting their bodies.

Despite how fast the boy was going and the buzzing wind ringing in their ears, nor human or beast uttered a whimper.

They felt the deep mental state Lin was going through right now, just the serious look on his face gave out the whole story of how much bottled emotions were inside his chest.

Right now if Lin was asked why is he becoming very emotional he would simply say : "I don't know!"

After flying south until the shore of the land of forgetfulness faded away, Lin's senses picked up a similar invisible wall separating the ocean waters 3km ahead and stretching endlessly both left and right.

The waters on his side was calm and rarely had waves on their surface, even the marine life under the surface which his soul sense could capture were leaning towards the normal sea life.

No exaggerated sizes were swimming 1km deep in the ocean underneath Lin when he checked out, but despite his eyes seeing the invisible wall only 9m thick, when his soul sense tried to penetrate these walls he was surprised to discover that his soul sense covered 3km deep yet couldn't reach the outer waters behind the walls.

Remembering the event with little Mia who protected the ring space Lin automatically shifted into alert mode and retracted his stretched soul sense.

"Finally I'm back at the great space formation, I've been stuck in this accursed land for two years. Let's go Lin crossing this space formation is a lot safer if you can fly, I had to swim amongst many predators and fight my way until I reached land."

"Heh, only two years and she's whining like a baby. Two centuries and more is my record."

As the last of Lin's soul sense retracted from the boundaries of the space formation and the images of the blue whale sized and larger creatures lurking in the waters both Mia and Jin Bao started to release lots of stifled emotions.

It seemed like both of them were competing with each other on who is better, but the proudness of their accomplishments were obvious in their words.

"Is it really safe? The size of these creatures and the size of this strange space is unknown to me."

Lin told Mia of his worries and rose higher up afraid of getting surprise attacked by one of these creatures from below, his eyes measures the invisible walls of this great space formation as only 9m wide, but the smallest creature swimming in these waters was more than 80m long!

"9mile long, the spacetime energy makes it look like you can jump and cross it's borders, but the truth is once you enter you'll feel like there's a miniature world separating you from the other side."

Mia answered then pointed her finger ahead for Lin to keep going and said : "Go on, as long as you can fly it will be a cinch to cross the borders."

Her ease of mind and careless attitude made Lin be a lot less wary towards the borders of the space formation, and he vigilantly moved closer to the layer of invisible curtains separating both skies and ocean until the end of sight.

Like the giant doors overseeing the land of forgetfulness from the rest of the world, Lin felt a notion of displeasure spray inside his chest once he stood a step away from borders of the great space formation.

Somehow he felt disgusted with it, again he didn't know why he felt repulsed by this formation.

Taking a final breath in, Lin entered the invisible borders of the formation and hurried forward as fast as he can to cross this short distance of 9mile.

But on the last mile his soul sense picked a three hundred meters tall wave on the area outside the borders of the space formation, a raging ocean with mountain sized waves everywhere in sight underneath Lin's feet and a stormy sky full of lightning coupled with hurricanes swirling whirlpool after whirlpool stretching all the way from the sky above his head and connecting it to the ocean waters all the way down like pillars helping keeping the sky raised.

"This is beyond stormy! how come there's this great difference between outside and inside the formation borders?"

Lin asked as he navigated his way away from the gravitational pull of the hurricanes, and kept a close watch on the ocean below them out of worry for any threat.

"Chaotic energy is affecting the elements around the land of forgetfulness, the farther we go from the borders the calmer things will get."

"The air feels different outside, as if it is very fresh and reinvigorating "

Lin nodded when he saw the stormy clouds lose their dark grey color and turn faint grey then white as they widened the distance from the formation, then he commented on the air filling his lunges with each breath.

"Heh, look at you getting all emotional with this muddy air, look for any island so that I can set a basic spirit gathering formation. You need to assimilate your spirit into the dantian and draw your first wisp of spirit energy, I will show you what is fresh clear air feels like."

Mia flipped her hand and a strange fruit appeared on her palm, she acted like she didn't see how on attention Sun became and his eyes were glued to the translucent deep red fruit.

Lin nodded and expanded his soul sense to the limit searching for a place to land, after flying for a couple hours and as he was starting to get tired by the extra weight he's carrying a silhouette of an island appeared on the horizon and Lin descended on the highest place of this tiny island.

Surprisingly Sun was like a little duckling following it's mother and walked after Mia everywhere she went with his eyes never leaving the little fruit in her hand, to both the joy and amusement of saintess soaking as much of this triumphant feeling as possible.

Lin sat down to rest and watched Mia tease Sun by making him smell the fruit but not allowing him to eat any of it, the tiger was like a horny animal in the mating season and returned to Lin's side to complain of how much he wanted to eat this fruit.

Lin on the other hand noticed that underneath of the skin of this red fruit was a cluster of energy, even he felt an unconscious urge and need to take a bite from it.

"Hehe, see! I told you, you naughty tiger kept refusing my love. Now come and give me an enormous hug, maybe, just maybe I will give you a tiny bit. If you refuse then it is just fine with this saintess, I will give it to my Xiaoxi instead."

Mia said as she sat next to Lin and pulled him into her embrace to pamper him, and Sun was hesitant about whether to accept Mia's demands in exchange for the fruit or not.

"Whine...."

"You're free to do what you want buddy, I won't force you to accept Mia. It is all up to you."

Lin patted Sun's head comfortingly and gave him the freedom of choice, then he gave Mia a look to warn her not to go back in her word with Sun.

The tiger actually had very small trusting capacity to strangers, if Mia went back on her words now then Sun would never accept her friendship even if she offered him gifts for free later.

Let's rewind a bit more to the time Lin and Mia crossed the borders of the great space formation.

Head back to Lin's village, then a bit more north of there to where the beasts live, then north of there until signs of civilization appear in the horizon.

The civilization in this place was visibly advanced than Lin's village, by a few thousand years if you may say.

Within one of the floating buildings in the center of this gigantic sized city one person looked wide eyed at the hologram monitor that popped up from his hand watch suddenly, then looked at the other hologram apparel which indicated the call from his direct superior and two other of his colleagues.

"Councilor Ralph, I'm getting a reading of a spirit user exiting our land! Since when was a spirit sovereign in our territory? How come I wasn't informed of such a thing earlier, the minister, I and the vice-chairman will be at your office in 15 minutes. You better be ready to explain this neglectfulness of your responsibilities."

The elderly man with a mix of black and white hair was frowning and obviously not pleased with his underling but he didn't throw any kind of accusation yet, only with evidence can he do.

"Yes chairman Zakaria, my team is already collecting data and by the time you arrive we will be sure to deliver an explanation for this matter, if it is caused by my neglect then I'm ready to take full responsibility."

The tall thick bearded man called councilor Ralph nodded while sending the orders for his department of defense to gather information and draw a complete map of the movement of this little boy with wings from the moment he entered to the moment he exited their territory, while resting his back on his leather chair and accepting the call from his colleagues all at once.

"I hope it won't be on you this time big man, see you in a few minutes."

Chairman Zakaria said and ended the call.

"Yo Ralph, looks like you're in deep trouble this time."

A very seductive woman with cute smile and charming body appeared next to 7 other images in front of Ralph and was the first to hold her slim waist and say.

"Hey Anna, you're not going to throw insults from the get go are you?"

Councilor Ralph was watching the received feed from his subordinates of Lin's journey playing backwards then his life in the village until the day he was born, while refusing to admit what happened as his fault to the one who always involved herself in his work and the work of any of the other councilors.

Councilor Anna of the intel council and head manager, was an information freak who liked to know everything be that in her jurisdiction or not.

She just liked it!

And as the head manager of the defense council, councilor Ralph was getting bugged out a lot by her all the time.

Now that a possibility of a spirit sovereign working underneath their nose in their territory stealthily, of course Anna wouldn't let go of this chance to gather more intel.
