《The Contact Person》Book 1 Chapter 3: With great power, comes great fun: Part 5

The next two weeks went like someone pressed the fast forward button. Roy withdrew his bots from both Prema and Nila's body, cause he figured trying to bed them would only result in more problems that he didn't want to handle. He understood that picking up girls would not be possible in this country, unless that girl is from a rich family and a party girl. Within this time period, he also managed to get a long term visa by using inception. He also received his booking details and everything. And now Roy laid down on comfortably on his bed, levitating and rotating three rubber balls absent mindedly, while planning his next move.
This would be his first tour where he would be directly interacting with the customer. But Roy wasn't nervous or anything, since now that he wasn't bound by the fear of losing his job anymore. Sam had gone through the whole product code and documentation. So Roy first thought to let Sam guide him during the presentation. But now he had another plan which was more awesome.
Now for the luggage he needed for the trip. Roy thought it would be problematic to lug around a big, heavy bag. It was not a problem with telekinetic assist, but he couldn't do that in the airport. So he went for the alien solution. He remembered that Mike said that he was able to use teleportation. So he got into a discussion with Mike on the topic. As per the explanation he received, teleportation was fundamentally folding of space. By using a source wormhole generator and a target wormhole generator, one can forcefully bring two points in space together and create a door to pass through. The bigger the door, the bigger the generators. So basically, if Roy left a wormgen in his home and kept one with him, he could anytime open a door to his home from anywhere in this world.
So he decided to bring only Sam and bare necessities with him. Mike made the wormgen in the shape of a fancy wristwatch. Next morning he went to the airport 3 hours prior and used inception on the counter guy to give him a upgrade to business class. He loitered around the airport and checked out the pretty girls, but none caught his eyes. When it was time for boarding the plane, Roy got in first because of business class privilege. On the way to his seat, he was disappointed by the air hostesses. None of them were pretty, or young. He was dejected and went to sleep.
After reaching his destination, Roy took a cab to the serviced apartment his travel team booked for him. The whole building was small, only four floors. Roy went in though the front door and saw the whole area is deserted except a pretty lady behind the counter and a suave looking guy trying to pick her up.
"You sure I can't interest you in a cup of coffee? You do know I am leaving today, right?" the man was quite well dressed. With a three piece suit, blue tie and polished shoes he looked far richer for this place. He was even talking politely. Roy sighed as he didn't have encounter a cliche, save the pretty girl from assholes scenario.
The lady behind the counter smiled sweetly, almost like a mother consoling her kid, "Mr Larson, you do know I am the currently the only employee here except the housekeepers. While you do seem like a nice guy, and I would love to go on a date with you, you know my hands are tied. You already know why."

The guy sighed, and hanged down his head. After a minute or two, he looked up and gave her a defeated smile. He tried one last time, "Can I at least have your contact number?"
The lady laughed and shook her head, "Knowing you Mr Larson, if I give you my contact number, you would pepper me with date invitations everyday. While I would appreciate getting attention from a man like you, I would hate to keep you hanging. So no. Please understand."
The man laughed along with her and picked up his luggage. As if on cue, a taxi arrived outside the hotel. The driver helped the man pack his luggage in the trunk, then both of them left. This whole time, Roy waited by the side of the door and watched everything play out. By his opinion, it was a nice, quiet ending. No assholes, no damsels in distress, and just the perfect amount of drama.
"Can I help you Sir? You have been standing there for a while now." The lady directed her attention to Roy. It seemed that she noticed him earlier, but couldn't talk to him since she was busy fending off someone's advances.
"Yeah I think you can." Roy came up to the desk and pulled out the print out of hotel booking. The lady looked over the document and typed something in the computer in front of her. Roy looked her over and saw the nameplate attached just above her left breast. It read "Maria Padmore". He also checked her body out and could understand why the man was so insistent on having a date with her. She had smooth skin that looked soft to touch, a pair of big breasts, a nice small waist and big hips. Roy couldn't see her legs behind the counter, but he could imagine them being perfect. After matching the data in the screen and in the document, she smiled sweetly again and welcomed Roy to her humble hotel. She handed over two key cards to Roy and a chit containing the wifi password. Roy decided to talk with her later. He mentally decided to bed her without using any tricks on her. No bots, no inception. Purely the old fashioned way.
Next day morning Roy reached office and met up with the customers. His job was to discuss with the customer, give them an understanding of how the software that Roy's company made worked, and gather a detailed report of any part of the product customer wanted changed. He was guided to different rooms and introduced to many peoples. Roy could see most of them shoot a glance of doubt at him. The boss looking person excused himself and told Roy to wait outside of a conference room for a bit. Then he and the other important looking persons entered the room and closed the door behind them. Roy could hear muffled arguments in their local language coming from the room. So Roy waited a bit. But even after 10 minutes passed, they talked among themselves like he didn't exist and showed no signs of stopping anytime soon. Roy was getting irritated by their behavior. But he couldn't understand their language so he asked Mike if he could translate what they were talking about. Mike replied that he could do one better and give Roy to knowledge to read, write and speak all earth languages Mike knew.
After a moment or two, the jumbled noise from the room suddenly turned into meaningful conversation.
"It still doesn't answer my question. I do not agree that such a small kid could have the expertise to cater to our needs. And you all agree with me. So my question remains. How do we make the vendor to take this kid back and send us someone with real expertise?"

"How about this? We gather our best and pepper the kid with questions. He is bound to slip up. Then we escalate it to the owner."
"Hmmm, that is definitely the best way. Maybe this way we could milk the vendor for some other things for the same price."
"Let's do it. Get the kid to the Omega 4. I will get the people from my team. You do the same."
"Guys, did it just get colder here? I felt a shiver run down my spine."
"Yeah, me too."
"Me too."
"It was probably the AC. Let's get out and set up everything. "
Roy moved away from the door and leaned against the opposite wall like nothings happened. However, his face was hard, devoid of any emotion. These guys were talking about him, and not in a good way. The people came out of the room and instantly felt the same chill they felt minutes ago. Thankfully, Mike was there to remind him.
*Roy, calm down. You are subconsciously giving off a telekinetic buzz. It is stimulating their fear centers.*
Roy broke out of his trance, and instantly the people around him felt a lot better. One man came up to him and directed to a room with "Omega 4" written on it. Roy mechanically thanked him and he was left to his own to setup things.
Now that he was alone, Roy asked Mike, *Mike, what happened?*
Mike shrugged, *Hard to say. Your rage was building up and you were using your telekinesis in a very peculiar way. You were subconsciously vibrating the energy around you, and the people who were in range got their fear centers stimulated. If I hadn't stopped you, they would have fainted due to sheer fear.*
Roy suddenly got a idea of how to get back to the people who berated him thinking he wouldn't be able to understand their language. From what Mike described, it seemed like Roy would be able to induce fear using his telekinesis. And being the psychic ability prodigy he was, it didn't take him long to figure out everything.
When the people came in, they were in a jolly mood and all of them had a A4 sheet with them. Those sheets contained the questions that they would throw towards the kid and embarrass him. However, when they stepped foot inside the room, a severe cold chill ran down their spine. The kid who was writing something in the whiteboard stopped and turned to look at them. The moment their eyes met, they felt like they were stepping foot inside a tiger's den who had been starved for 5 days, and this tiger only considered them as nothing but food. With shaky hands and feet, they stumbled a lot on their way to the desks. After that, they looked absolutely anywhere but at the kid.
Roy mentally congratulated himself on the perfect execution of his fear aura. There were 18 people in the room, and all of them were shaking in their boots. Roy knocked on the whiteboard twice to get their attention, though none of them looked him in the eye. He slowly and firmly introduced himself,
"I am Kaushik Roy, an expert on the software I am about to walk you guys through. Now I want to set some ground rules. When I talk, you don't. When I speak, You pay your undivided attention to me. No phones, no chats. You do not make small talks while I am in the room. If you have a question, raise your hand and only when I allow you to, speak. When the session is in motion, you are not allowed to leave the room. Am I absolutely clear?"
They all spoke in unison, "YES SIR.", then hurried to switch off their phones and log out of the chat rooms. And now Roy executed his next plan. He let Sam take over the presentation. She was very thorough with it, so the session sent smoothly. After that, it was lunchtime. Roy went to the food court and got himself a stew for lunch. After that, the same pattern repeated itself for the next session.
Next day, Roy noticed some new people coming in. He knew this was gong to happen. These people were most likely the bosses of respective teams. Now that their yesterday's plan to embarrass Roy didn't work out, they themselves came to show the youngsters how its done. All of the new ones had a A4 sheet with them, just like yesterday. Roy smiled and went through the same routine. Put sheer irrational fear in them, and they would do anything not to wake up the beast inside the room. After the sessions, when the bosses went out of the room, they were as meek as a wet kitten.
Within two days, Roy became famous in the customer's office. He was dubbed as the "Tamer", as all the managers, even the hard headed ones spoke with him with utmost respect. No one dared to harass him in his sessions. All of them sat there obediently and with Sam's thorough teaching, things progressed quickly. However Roy had a nagging feeling. He instructed Mike to infiltrate the buildings security system and monitor all the security systems. And Mike, being the obedient tool, complied.
Two more days later, Roy was eating lunch in the food court. He normally ate alone, since he was yet to befriend anyone. Today, however, someone decided to approach him. And it was a black haired Korean beauty to boot. However, Roy knew better.
"Hello, is this seat taken?" Roy noticed the lady wore a black dress and a black skirt, with matching black high heels. She had white skin, which contrasted well with the dress. She also had light make up on her and looked no more than 30 years old. It was easy to make out her curves through her dress. It seemed that she worked out and her figure was well defined. Roy instantly took a liking to this lady.
Roy gestured her to sit without saying anything. She sat in front of him and placed a bowl full of salad on the table. Roy looked down to his plate. He had a slab of grilled chicken with some kind of sauce, with two sides, crispy fried potato and pasta. He looked at the lady and she was busy dressing her salad with some kind of Italian dressing. He mentally shrugged and went back to eating. The lady finished with the preparation and started eating. Both of them ate in silence, occasionally glancing at the other to see if they were going to break the ice or not. Roy waited patiently for the lady to speak. He ate slowly, letting her know that he intentionally was not speaking up. After a minute, she spoke up, "So you are the one they call tamer?"
"Who is asking?" Roy put down his fork and looked straight in her eyes. She flinched and looked away. Roy kept looking at her unblinking. She grew flustered, as if she was trying very hard to take a decision. Roy knew the reason for her struggle.
The nagging feeling he was having at the back of his mind turned out to be his ability. His precognition was warning him. Today morning through the security camera feeds, Mike isolated one conversation. The owner of the project felt humiliated as some kid foiled all his plans and made all his subordinates terrified of him. He called this beauty here to his office in the morning and instructed her to accuse Roy of sexual harassment. She declined, but the asshole threatened to fire her on the accusation of stealing corporate data. If she was accused of stealing data, none would hire her ever. She fearfully agreed, but now she was torn between her moral and her career.
Roy saw her sitting there face down, on the verge of crying. Her nails dug into her hands and her knuckles turned white. Roy tried to ignore her silent struggle, but being the good guy he was, he couldn't. He sighed internally. Damn it, he just wanted to fuck all the girls in the world and be done with it. Now he found himself here, contemplating on helping the poor girl instead of taking advantage of her. He relaxed his shoulders and softened his gaze. He reached out and held her hand. Instead of refusing it, she responded by holding him back. It seemed she needed someone to tell her what she should do, even if it was the guy she was supposed to accuse. Roy smiled and said the magic words.
"Need a little help?"
