Inside of one of the house of a small tattered village. There's a woman who's in the middle of giving birth to a soon-to-be newborn child.

[Hm? I'm still alive? Well I think its really a matter of time now, I'm kinda sleepy now too.]

The woman keep screaming in pain and hold the hands of the man besides her tightly while giving her all. While the man, holding her hand tightly too, keep encouraging the woman.

There's an elderly woman too who's assisting the woman to give birth.

"You can do it Nelia! Its already coming out!"

"SHUT UP ARK! Argh!" (Nelia)

Nelia, the one who's giving birth right now, shouted at his husband Ark with great effort and irritation.

"YES!" (Ark)

"Keep going Nelia! I could already see the head of your baby!" (Elder woman)

"Argh!!" (Nelia)

"..." (Ark)

"Goddamnit Ark!" (Nelia)

"Why?!?!" (Ark)

[Huh?? Who's that woman screaming in pain? Is there someone giving birth??? Here in the battlefield??? Ugh. My head is getting heavy, I think I'm really done now, huh.]

Nelia's scream has already attracted their neighbors for sometime now. But their neighbors did not complain and even shows their concerns for her. After several hours of labor, Nelia manage to deliver the baby safely.

The elderly woman, picked up the the newborn baby, then...

[The heck!!! That friggin hurts!! Who hit my butt?!]

After hitting the bottom of the baby, the elderly woman noticed that the baby did not cry. Surprised, she whispered..

"Hmm?! The baby, did not cry?" (Elderly woman)

Even though she said it in low voice. Nelia, who's exhausted in giving birth, still managed to hear her words

Nelia said it weak shaking voice,

"What are you talking about?" (Nelia)

"No, I'll try it again." Said the elderly woman.

"Wait! Our son has just born! Don't hit him village chie-" but before Ark could even complete his sentence.

The elderly woman hits the baby's bottom again to make it cry. Because she knows newborn baby needed it to help them breath for the first time outsideof the womb.

"Village chief... My baby.." Nelia weakly said.

"Village chief... Stop hitting our son!" Shouted Ark.

[!!! Stop hitting my butt!! Shit! I want to cry! What the heck is happening?! I need to open my eyes!]

After hitting the baby's bottom the second time. The baby still didn't not react. When she's about to hit the baby the third time, Ark finally reached out his hands to stop her hand.

"The heck Ark! Do you want him to die?!" (Elderly woman)

SLAP!

"Ouch! Nelia?! Why did you hit me?! And don't move you're still weak!" (Ark)

"Shut the fuck up Ark" (Nelia)

"Ark, a newborn baby needs to cry after birth to help it breath." (Elderly woman)

The elderly woman explained it to Ark.

[Huh? Newborn baby? Cry?]

[Fuck! Stop it! It hurts! Come on my goddamn eyes! Open up! I need to remember their faces! I'll fucking curse them!]

After hitting the bottom of the baby, thrice. The baby didn't not cry but it finally opened its eyes. As if searching for something, the baby's eyes look left and right with disbelief. After looking around, it fixed its eyes to Nelia who's trying to get up with tears in her eyes.

[Mother? How?]

The baby, as if he found his long lost treasure, started to cry.

[The gods granted my prayers.... The gods. I thank you. I really thank you. I'll promise that in this life. I will surely protect my family. I won't let anyone hurt them anymore!]

Nelia reach for her baby, and the elderly woman give the baby to her. Ark sit besides the bed and looked at his mother and son. He has a smile on his face while etching the scene on his mind forever. He suddenly said,

"I'll name you, Ard..." Ark said.

"Ark, shut up will you? Clearly our son hates that. I love you but your dumb. So I'm the one who will name him okay?" Nelia said while looking at him smiling while not smiling.

"YES!" Ark's hair suddenly stood up when he saw Nelia's smile. Clearly, he's afraid to her.

"You made the right decision Nelia." The Elderly woman/village chief said.

[Yes. Yes. You made the right decision mother. After all, I really love my name-]

"I'm going to name him-"

After hearing the name her mother gave to him. Leo suddenly felt sleepy again. His eyes are spinning and his eyelids became heavy. But before he finally fell asleep. He thought-
