《Another World: Scientist》Chapter 6. Exploration.

I wake up and Ion is recharged as well...
I grab my swords and put the sword on my hip, the longsword on my back and the dagger on my chest to easily grab them if needed.
"Ion, are you coming with me to exploration?" (Hayden)
"I cannot. I have no way to defend myself from anything. The only thing I can do is scare away creatures from the base... So I'll stay here." (Ion)
"Alright. I'm going to go then. Don't get yourself destroyed." (Hayden)
I open the gate and walk out frightened...
Ion closes the gate behind me.
"I must do this... It's the only way we can continue building things... We need resources..." (Hayden)
I repeat that to myself many times before I start walking...
I walk straight forward from the base and decide to leave a trail just in case I need to take a detour...
I walk and walk for hours until I get out of the forest...
I look at the huge plains infront of us where we first saw the Dragons and Harpies...
I look around and see tons of swords in the ground and arrows and bows littered around but nothing that seems to be dragon...
Which means the Dragon's won...
"But where are the corpses? If there was a battle there always will be bodies everywhere..." (Hayden)
I go to the battlefield and I see no signs of blood either...
"What the... I was sure that a battle was held here... Unless... It was just a feast for the dragons..." (Hayden)
I pick up one of the swords from the ground and look at it... It has been hit against something like stone or stronger...
I try to recall what I saw before I was chased by two harpies...

"Wait... None of them had any armor... I saw nothing that could kill a dragon... Somebody sent them to their deaths..." (Hayden)
I look around and see a horse carriage coming towards here in a slow pace...
The moment I see it I run back into the forest after grabbing a bow, a quiver and some arrows and a sword.
I need to compare them to our world...
I hide behind a tree and look at the horse carriage that stops at the battlefield.
I look at the horses and realize...
Those are definetly not horses.
They are more like huge chickens...
No.. They are huge chickens!
The door to the carriage opens and I turn my attention to it...
A man and two armored soldiers walk out and the man starts laughing for some reason...
They all are harpies... The guards, the weird laughing man...
"This world is too confusing..." (Hayden)
I turn around and start walking back into the forest but I see fairies flying towards me.. Or more precisely... Towards the carriage...
I also notice that the child that keeps bothering me is there aswell... The one who found us behind Ion's camouflage...
I quickly hide behind a tree and in a bush.
I am not planning on getting caught soon...

Azarinth Healer
A new world with nearly unlimited possibilities. A status, classes, magic and monsters. Sounds good? Well, for Ilea it didn't come quite as expected as for some other protagonists, nor was there a king or god to welcome her. The grand quest? Well, she might figure that out someday but for now, a new world with new food is prize enough. Her fists at the ready, she's prepared to punch and get punched, however long it takes and however many limbs she might have to regrow. A story I've started writing now quite a while ago. Transported to another world, somewhat standard fantasy setting with my beginner attempts to make it dark but funny. There are Litrpg elements here but I do hope it's not too heavy and annoying. The fights should be interesting and aren't just numbers vs numbers. Contrary to the title the protagonist will be quite an offensive fighter. Ilea Spears is your average sarcastic kick-boxing fast food worker and soon to be student. She will be transported to another world rather conventionally and will be confronted with survival in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. My experience is incredibly lacking. If you find yourself hating it early on, do convey your anger in a detailed comment or review :) I want to get better but without any feedback it's simply quite difficult. Quick heads up: Around chapter 120 there are a bunch of longer PoV changes that I discontinued again shortly after. The Arc around chapters 150-200 is darker than the rest and the themes shift quite a bit. Just know that it goes back to what you've come to know after that section. Thank you for reading. Quick update June 2019: Many complaints regarding the formatting, specifically spacing in conversations and of course the usage of the present tense in the first 36 chapters have been addressed. I'm of course learning by the day but compared to how it was before it should be an improvement at least. Chapters usually around 3k words Cover art by Kevin Catalan

8 686I was Born the Unloved Twin
You've probably heard this sort of story before. Once upon a time, blah blah blah a boy and a girl fell love and everything was beautiful and perfect, except for this thing called life getting in their way. He was this cool foreign prince and she was basically perfect. Really it's a very boring run of the mill story. I'll even spoil it for you, they kill the villainess at the end. Not the type of story I'd read personally. So where do I fit into this?Apparently I'm her older twin sister and the very very lucky fiance to the foreign prince. You know, the dead villainess? Sucks I know. Now I get to do it all over again from the beginning.Curse my life ------ So you're somewhat interested in what this thing is about and looking to see if it's even worth reading? Let's get the worst of it out of the way first: This is a boring story, very tedious, mundane and downright just boring. It's too slow, the characters are too confusing & make possibly retarded choices. It's an isekai/reborn type Slice of Life novel that plays on the villainess noble girl trope but the MC gets no OP cheats, no magical powers, not even some satisfying face slapping or such self-fulfillment fantasy. Wow, I'm doing a terrible job advertising this thing. If you're somehow still interested, if you were ever interested how an average modern person, reborn with all their host's memories, could live out their life in this situation, mending personal relationships one step at a time, or wondered what happened in between all the time skips in other novels, maybe give Unloved Twin a try. This is an awkward novel, the pacing is slow, and there is no time skips. For some reason still, I really love this little story I'm making. Talk to me on: https://discord.gg/ARkSMFPbew
8 155Playing Solitaire (Lit-RPG)
Stuck in a game, you say? Been done, move on. But what if you were its only inhabitant, in a game that is slowly being overwritten? Better? In a world disintegrating around her, Arline Johnson is forced from her hammock, onto the road. She'll need to face monsters, AI, and the vagaries of the viewing public in order to find her way home. What's that? Too easy? Well, maybe not. You see, there's one other problem... Arline is a Bard.
8 149The Chosen

The only restriction being that they be loners, seperated from every day society so as to give them a chance to develope their new found power before those who may seak to maintain the status quo snuff them out. Jared Thorne woke to find himself gifted with the Game Character subspecies. Although starting out weaker than other chosen, past and present, his potential is far greater.
