“I agree, a place of our own would be amazing, Cortez?” He was drooling on his shoulder and his eyes were closed.
“Well, I guess I will go to sleep to then” I went upstairs.
“So, lee, where are the beds? Think I will go to bed a bit early today.
“Sure, they are right over there.” Lee pointed behind me at a door.
“Thanks” I opened the door and there was at least 5 beds here. Wonder how many guest he have had.
“Yo! Cortez! Wake up and get up here, don’t sleep in that position you will hurt yourself!” Cortez woke up as I yelled.
“Wow! You scared me, I am coming upstairs now.” He yawned and stretched his hands as he came upstairs.
“Good night!” Lee and Elisa was quiet ready books.
“Night night” Elisa waved as she had her face in the book.
“I want that bed! Dibs!” Cortez jumped at the first bed he saw and straight under the blanket.
“Fine, I will take the one close to the window, I like to look at the sky as I drift away in thoughts.” I lied down and looked up at the sky, sometimes I could see the glint of stars I the night sky, but it was mostly covered by the snow storm.
I fell asleep.

“You are here for one thing and one thing only! Prove your worth, if not you will be thrown back on the streets! Here are some of the missions you can chose! Complete them with evidence and you will become a member!” We have to become a member.
“Why are we here again, Sky?” Celia stod behind me and held my sweater.
“We can’t live alone in this world, we need to stick together.” I had to reassure Celia.
“These people doesn’t seem nice at all! I am scared.” Her eyes got watery.
“It will be alright we just stick together as always, we do the stealing mission and we will be fine! We have been stealing for as long as I can remember now, this will be a piece of cake for us.”
“Really?” She didn’t seem scared now.
“I swear, let`s get going” we went over to the mission board and saw the stealing mission, nothing really hard, just steal some food from a camp located a few kilometers away.
“This one will do, stay by my side Celia” We went outside the hideout and headed out.

“I think its starting to rain” The rain was always black, but it didn’t leave such a nasty spill as one would think.
“It`s fine, just don’t drink it” we both putted our cowl on and bandana to hide our face, we slowly approached the camp.
“Over this hill, I swear I saw some smoke coming from this direction just a second ago, stay quiet.” We snuck over to the hill top.
“There they are, what is the plan?” Celia was ready, but nervous.
“Look over there, next to that tent. There are some sacks there, probably filled with something useful, lets snatch that and get out, you still got your knife on you right?.” She showed me her knife.
“Ok, lets go, follow my lead.” The ground was really muddy and the black rain and started to settle in, it helped our camouflage.
We proned slowly towards the sacks as we got covered completely in black mud, it was really cold. The temperature can switch in matter of seconds as its starts to rain, normally it really hot.
“Just a little mor--!?” a man went out of the tent and looked around. As I turned my head slowly I could see Celia had moved to my side, but she was way closer to the man then I was, I got worried.
I couldn’t speak, I was frozen and so was she, the man went back into the tent.
“Phew, what are you doing? Stay close!” She came closer to me.
“Sorry, my eyes got dirty I couldn’t see straight.” We moved closer and grabbed two large sacks.
“I knew someone was out here, get up and drop the sacks!” The man came out and had a gun aimed at us.
“Please don’t hurt us mister, we just want to survive!” Celia was really scared and started sobbing.
“Both of you inside the tent now, we are going to have some fun!” We both knew what the man was implying. We crawled inside the tent. There was another man there.
“Well hello there, glad you could join us.” It was a really scary and nasty looking guy inside.
We were both quiet, Celia was sobbing.
“You think you can sneak up on us and steal our shit huh? Why do you think we are still alive? We know every trick in the book!” I did not like were this was going.
“Please don’t hurt us!” Celia started crying really bad. The one guy approached her from behind.

“We are not going t--!?” Celia shoved her knife right in the gut of the one man.
“You little!” The other guy tried to pick up his gun I jumped him and knifed him several times in the chest, his arm got tangled up while he was reaching for the gun and he couldn’t push me down.
It was quiet, only the fire in the middle of the tent was crackling.
“Let`s get this stuff and go” There was a silence, I looked at Celia and her crying had stopped, she seemed more calm then ever. Was it the adrenaline?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We left a camp filled with blood, dirty mud tracks, a crackling fire, no loot and two dead corpses.
As we headed back we got exhausted by the thick mud and had to rest.
“Want to talk about it?” Her hands were still bloody, like she didn’t bother washing it off in the rain or the small ponds on the way.
“There is nothing to talk about, we did what we had to do” She seemed more angry then scared.
“That is true, but killing someone is not to be taken lightly, even in this world” She didn’t seem to agree, but she didn’t say anything.
It was quiet again, only the rain was dashing down and splashing everywhere.
“Lets go” Celia was the one taking initiative, usually I am the one in charge.
“Ye-yeah lets get going” We both stood up and headed back.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We got back to the hideout to prove that we were a worthy asset for the group.
“Y-you kids got all this?! How the fuck did you manage that?! Good fucking job kids, we will take it over here, now hand over those guns!” We gave them the guns and sacks we stole.
“Let me look at your hands, is that blood? Seems like you have learned a valuable lesson today, well done.” Celia didn’t try to hide it, she was just silent.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Something was making a awful lot of noice.
“Cortez get your fat us up! Lee have made breakfast for us!” Elisa was kicking Cortez in the stomach, but he refused to wake up.
“Elisaaaa, stop it, it hurts” Cortez was blushing, he was enjoying it!
“You can be such a creep sometimes!” Elisa headed over to me.
“Ohh you away already, what’s wrong?” She looked at me weird.
I noticed a tear on my cheek
“Nothing, it was just a bad dream.” I got out of bed.
“Old memories?” Elisa seemed to know and it was true.
“Yeah….” Cortez fell out of bed.
“im ready, let’s go!” Cortez`s voice was hard to hear as his face was slammed to the ground.
We headed downstairs, I also noticed the snowstorm had really calmed down.
“Wow, that looks really good!” Before us was some steamy hot meat of some sort.
“This is actually wolf meat from my scouting around this area, but I don’t have my gear any longer, I got food here for at least 1 year even with guest! Its incredible that the food does not decay and its insanely cheap in stores.” That sure is one of the perks living in Felia.
We all sat down and enjoyed our meal.
“So you are headed for the city? Know the way?” Lee ate some wolf meat.
“I lost the map in the storm just before we got here, so I am not really sure.” Elisa seemed a bit embarrassed.
“I have a spare map, here take it.” Lee handed over the map.
“Wow thanks, really appreciate it.” The map was in great shape.
“Lee, this meat was really good!” Cortez took another huge bite.
“Glad you liked it!” Lee smiled.
“ Have you ever heard of alchemists levitating down the grand fall while ropes are attached to carry other players?” seems like a really dumb question.
“Sure, all the time” We all stopped eating in shock.
“W-w-what? Really?” Didn’t seem like anything unusual.
“I see it all the time, there is a quest over by the fall that will give you some ropes as a reward, but instead of using it to climb down, you can just attach it to an alchemist and that’s that.” We were still shocked.
“Sometimes alchemist gets payed for doing it.” Elisa picked up on that.
“Is that so” She looked at me and Cortez.
“No, don’t even think about it!” Her eyes screamed money!
We finished up eating.
“Well it was really nice of you Lee, we will see you again sometime I hope!” we all waved back as we left.
“You know where to find me!” He waved back and closed the door.
“If we follow the map it should be this way, follow me.” Elisa took the lead.

Rise for the Sky [Slow-Pace Multi-Lead Dungeon Crawler]
Sixty people have awoken at the bottom of a one hundred floor dungeon. Together they must confront the terror of monsters and seek the answers to why they are here. Expectations: This story is written from multiple perspectives, male and female. Most chapters are a single person, but there will be chapters where there are a couple of quick scenes with different people. The story does take place in a dungeon, but there is no leveling system. This a realistic take on the classic litRPG and iskai tropes written like a traditional novel. There is a profanity warning because I wish to be natural with how people talk and cursing is a thing people do. So it will happen where it makes sense. Gore is warned because this is a realistic take, and people will be torn apart by monsters. I don't plan to be overly detailed with it but be warned it will happen. Updates Every Monday. Chapters will be between 3,000 to 5,000 words. Fulfill Patreon goals to increase updates

A Fool's Journey, or the Vagrancies of a Man in Exotic Lands
What does a sad bastard do when fate, literally, decides to throw him into a fantasy world? Solon just wanted to lead a normal life; work, share some pizza with friends, work, play some videogames or read something, work, maybe sleep?, work... Pretty much the usual, rinse and repeat. It was far from perfect, but life was nicely boring and comfy enough. Truth be told, he had hoped it would go on forever, or until he got married, or until the apocalypse finally decided to bring an end to everything. As far as he could tell, though, the former was about as likely as the latter; not very. And perhaps even somewhat related, if it ever came to it. Unfortunately, he saw himself involved in some sort of cosmic fart that screwed him over, brutally severing his life-plan. Or, maybe, would it be more suitable to say that Fate had other plans? Sure, he's yet to find out exactly what those plans might be, but, at the very least, they do seem to involve him being shoved into another world, fighting off a couple of horrendous creepers, and -almost- an accidental liaison with a baboon. Needless to say, the job doesn't come with dental care, and death seems more likely than retirement... Yep, when he got yoinked out of Earth, there were no princesses waiting for him, no sexy goddesses, and no severe Gandalf-wannabes! Heck, not even a bunch of demonic cultists! All he got for the trouble was a bunch of snarky windows and the honest desire to punch whatever bastard happens to be behind the smug System. Well, that, and a few forced trips to the so-called Tower of Ascension. Not exactly what he would have expected but, on the plus side, he does get to do some magic. Though, not quite the wand-waving kind. Whatever. One thing’s patently clear, though, he’s certainly not the chosen one, nor the summoned hero, nor the Savior. If anything, he himself might be in need of some saving... Just what kind of fool does the System take him for? Please do consider the tags. Also, 'Strong Lead' here means weak to strong, over a decent amount of time, not op from the very beginning. Things to expect: decent grammar, cheeky goats. Things not to expect: Harems, a decent sense of fashion.
