The cold was not as bad today, but it was still cold and the cold debuff that reduces our health each second could appear at any moment. The daylight soon became moonlight as the night lasted like 70% of the day.

“Im tierd of this shit! Sitting here to rot day in and out, we still haven’t seen anyone climbing the wall, if we don’t start killing wolves we will die of starvation!” Odin kept his hands close to the campfire inside the cave.

“You know what, I am going to show them! They threw me out because they think I was talking shit? I will prove it.” Raul left his post and went inside the cave.

“You don’t mean?” Odin is surprised.

“I am going to join the tournament and be rich!” Raul was laughing like he`s lost it.

“That is the starvation and cold talking, there is no way you can win that tournament, didn’t you see the last combations?” Raul got angry.

“Doubt me? You are nothing better then those in the city, you can barley kill a wolf on your own.”

“The day I will stop doubting you is when you actually got something to back up those words!” Odin stood up and look at Raul.

“Just wait and see, I will show you all! Tonight we head back and sign up, you are coming with me!” Raul was at toe to toe range.

“Fine, get away from me!” Odin pushed Raul back as he was so close.

Raul went back to his post.

“Look over there! I that has to be the place Lee was talking about! Elisa pointed at the hut with a campfire outside.

Cortez seemed a bit down.

“Cortez? Are you ok?” He glanced a bit at me.

“I am scared of heights! How can we just casually fly down a big cliff, just the thought makes my heart race!” Not sure if he was shacking because of the cold or the fright.

“I can see that, aslong as we keep close and the ropes knots tight we be fine, you will just have to bear with us, once we get going it wont be that terrifying” I tried to cheer him up a bit.

“You seem to know a bit about this, done it before?” Cortez seemed a bit suspicious.

“Well, I have been on some high mountains before and done some climbing, that’s about it. You be fine!”

“Hope so” Elisa turned around.

“I will carry you guys don’t worry! Now lets get this quest done and get those ropes!”

We approached the door, no one was outside.

Knock knock

The door opened by itself and there was an old woman standing in the middle of the tent, filled with furs. It was quite dark, but there was a bunch of candle lights around.

“Hello there young travelers, what brings you out here in the cold?” The old woman was sat down by the fire as she dropped her cane to get a blanket.

“We have heard you are in need of some help?” Elisa was the one talking.

“That is true, there is a cave nearby, a bunch of vicious yetis are living there. They are what keeps me up at night, who know when they will bash this wall down? Bring me back 5 Yeti furs and I will give you the tools needed for further travel.”

“We will be right back!” Quest appeared on our hud.

“Elisa, you know where the cave is right?” I don’t want us to get lost.

“Got the location right here on the map, see?” She showed me the map, but I couldn’t see anything.

“I don’t have that profession, I can only see a piece of paper.” Elisa seemed surprised.

“You can`t see the map at all?”

“Nope”

“Hmm, cool” Elisa smiled and headed to the cave.

Cortez and I looked at eachother.

“I didn’t see it either” Elisa felt a bit smug about it we could both tell.

The cave really wasn’t that far, it was just hidden behind a snowy cliff, we could still see the hut from here.

“Shhh, there they are” Elisa was the first to see the yetis, they were big with blue fur and two horns.

Cortez changed back to his sniping gear.

“For the record I knew they were there, I could smell them while wearing my tracking gear” Elisa and I both looked at Cortez.

“Sure you could” We said at the same time.

“Humpf I really could!” One yeti turned around as he heard Cortez.

“Quiet! It’s looking at us” We all laid down in the snow, cold as hell.

“What? The yeti is 2 levels higher than us! This place surely is dangerous.” We all looked at the yeti camp, some were outside the cave.

“Shit, its coming right at us”

I turned invisible and readied myself.

“Run Elisa!” Cortez started firing arrows at the yeti, but it kept hitting the arrows away with its hands! Not much damage was done.

I used my reappear ability to teleport directly to his neck and strike, I got a perfect hit, but he grabbed me and tossed me at Cortez!

“Watch out!” I hit Cortez and we both fell on the ground and slide a bit. The yeti got real close and was about to hit us both.

“Hold on!” Cortez shot a rope arrow at one of the trees covered on snow located a bit away from us, the arrow dragged us towards it at Cortez`s command.

“That was close! How did you do that?”

“Rope arrow, my new favorite ability” The Yeti turned around and started running towards us again.

“Try shooting its legs, I will go for his neck again!” Some arrows managed to hit the legs, but it didn’t do much.

“Take this dumb yeti!” Elisa threw a gooey flask on the ground, really slowing him down.

The yeti changed target from Cortez to Elisa.

“Shoot the Yeti with a rope arrow at his neck I got a plan!”

I used my Heavenly Agility to run and jump up on his neck the damage was not so good as I was not stealthed. Cortez hit his rope arrow, the yeti was trying to take me off his back but I grabbed the rope arrow and Cortez pulled me back to safety.

“Shoot him in the face now! He is hurt!” One perfect shot hit him right between the eyes and he fell to the ground.

“Good shot!” We met up with each other again.

“Holy shit, that was one yeti?” Cortez was a bit scared.

“Since its 3 of us we have to get a total of 15 furs and that means to kill 15 yetis” How will this work out?

“We need to plan this better, look over there, you see those boulders over the cave? Lets use that.” There was a bunch of loose rocks over the cave, probably enough to kill some of them.

“Lets kill those outside and then we lure those inside out as we trigger the boulders.”

“How are we going to approach the next yeti if not with the boulders? Our damage is getting easily negated.” Both Elisa and Cortez was out of ideas, but I noticed something.

“We could use that” I pointed at ice we just slided on.

“Make them trip?” Elisa didn’t see the full picture.

“First Cortez fires a rope arrow in the Yetis neck at the same time I use my ability to strike his neck and grab a hold of the arrow as Cortez drags me back, the ice will make me slide easily and if the yeti follows me he might trip.” They both agreed to the plan.

“Use this guys, it does do much damage, but it’s a bomb, I haven’t made these in a long time but I had to give it a shot again, I am a support so it does not deal much damage on its own, but if you guys can use it in your ambushes it might do some use right?” We both got some small bombs each.

“Since when could u make bombs?” I had to ask since it could have been used before.

“Since lvl 2 I think? I had to quest on my own right? I needed some damage as well.”

“Why didn’t you say you could make bombs? That could have made some things easier earlier.” Cortez got a bit angry.

“Would you guys calm down? I am not made of ingridienses you know? Spamming slows and carrying Jason was the best I could do and why would you have a bomb that makes a lot of noise? I did think it through back then you know? Maybe using a bomb at the beginning to lure some guards away, but that would have made them more aware.”

“Fine, don’t sweat it and I actually got another idea.” Cortez looked ready for everything.

“Lets go!”

I entered stealth mode and snuck up to the Yeti and reappeared behind his neck as the arrow hit him. I struck the yeti and dropped two armed bombs as I got pulled out. The damage was really high.

“It worked! Pull him back fast!” Cortez pulled me back.

“I just realized we forgot to loot the one before.” Elisa slides down to loot the Yetis.

“Wow, I am finished! I got 3 fur from this one and 2 from the last!” Elisa slowly walked up to us as she tried not to slip, but she did.

“Hahahah” Cortez and I was laughing our asses off

“Stop laughing you morons! Keep fighting!” Elisa`s face was really red.

“Yes maam…pfft” Cortez and I tried to keep a straight face.

“If you got that much from those two, then we need 4 more then? I thought we got 1 fur from each” this might not be that hard.

“I thought the same” Cortez got slapped as Elisa got up.

“Why did you only slap me?!” Cortez was puzzled.

“humpf!” Elisa sat down and looked away.

“Cortez, if you shoot those boulders as I distract them with my decoy then we could get at least 4 out right?” We both studied the terrain.

“We don’t know how many are in there, but we can see how many of them we can get, go when your ready, I will attach a bomb to the arrow.”

I used my decoy and he slided down to the cave entrance.

“Come get me you dumb Yetis!” 4 Yetis was eating some sort of animal inside, but they charged my clone.

“Now!” Cortez shot the arrow and the rocks just slammed the Yetis down to the ground. They all died.

“That worked really well! I got my loot instantly hehe, got to love that passive.”

“What? So did I, I don’t have that passive” Cortez stood up and took his bow on his back.

“I think its because of the settings I putted on earlier today, even if I loot, it will be shared, the same counts for you guys.”

“Guess its ok, since we are a team.” Cortez smilled

“Lets head back to the old lady!” Elisa was eager to fly.
