Diary entry 12
The group is pissed at me. I told them an hour ago and everyone has had a turn to yell at me. On the bright side, Declan and Val rejoined humanity. It seems to be the general group consensus that they aren't mad I made this decision, just that I made it alone. Tex and Yuki agreed to be my bodyguards for this plan. Jose' will be off making more money.
Side note, he apparently isn't actually blasting music as I thought but is singing the lyrics to karaoke versions. He has a nice singing voice.
Val is gonna go to the school with Mrs. Mime, and the rest are going to try to track down the owners of the warehouse. I personally think we should pack up and move somewhere else but they seem to want to stay so we are going to work towards purchasing it.
With Mrs. Mimes' help, I drew up a few invention ideas that we then had a group meeting about. I slipped in the hand pump idea and it eventually won out. I knew that majoring in mechanical engineering wasn't a waste mom.
Mr. Perry mentioned that this world's magic may make translating our tech into this world easier so we also agreed that tracking down magic instructors is on the docket for tomorrow. Here's hoping that earthlings can learn magic.
You know where you're excited and nervous at the same time and your leg gets all jittery? I've been having that across my whole body since I decided to tell the group. I keep thinking of all the ways this can go wrong, and how I may be ostracizing myself from them with this rash discision. I don't know, I'm just feeling scatterbrained I guess. I should pick up meditating or something to calm my nerves. Do you think there are yoga classes in magic old Europe?

Reading this back, I'm kinda all over the place. Whatever. Too lazy to reformat though. This is a diary, not a documentary.

City of Roses
