Chapter 13

Prank and Sea King

The day ended with all the members of Fairy Tail drinking and starting the most damaging Guild brawl as Erza and Naruto also participated in the brawl to enjoy themselves.

After the highest recorded amount of damage and best efforts of Makarov and Gildarts, the brawl was stopped, resulting in all the members but the newly minted S-class members being conscious.

"That took a lot of effort," said Gildarts, to which Makarov could only nod.

"Damn these kids. I don't want to estimate the amount of damage done" said Makarov in a sad tone and tears came out of his eyes comically, filling the room with water.

"Oops. I think we went too far" said Naruto as he was beside Gildarts, patting a sleeping Sirius in his lap.

"What? You are not sober?" Asked Gildarts in confusion.

"What are you talking about? I'm fine" said Naruto, gesturing to himself. Gildarts saw behind Naruto to see a fully sobered Erza trying to cut the stone wall with a rubber sword which she got from somewhere.

"I'm not giving up, you are my arch enemy and I'm gonna take my revenge you are an obstacle for a long time. That ends today" she muttered and tried even harder to cut the stone with rubber. But it didn't budge. She used more pressure and her rubber sword broke to pieces.

"I think she had more than she could handle," said Gildarts with a smirk.

"Ya. But isn't it fun?" said Naruto with a smirk. Makarov, who was still crying comically turned to see Erza and started laughing at her efforts.

"Booze can make you do things that you never dreamed of," he said with a smile. Naruto fell asleep soon after with Sirius in his lap. Makarov and Gildarts also followed his example and went into a dorm room in the Guild to sleep.

Next Day

As the Guild recovered from their alcoholic sleep, Gildarts started packing his things and moved out of the Guildhall with a job request in hand. Unknown to him, a blonde boy and a gold jaguar started to follow him and as they reached the outskirts of the town, Gildarts called them out.

"Come out, Naruto. I know you are following me with Sirius"

"It was fun while it lasted," said Naruto as he walked towards the old man.

"Yo"

"Why are you following me?" asked Gildarts and Naruto smirked at him.

"What are you talking about? I'm on my way to do my job" said Naruto, showing him a flyer.

"And a lot more" added Sirius and showed some more requests which were kept in his bag.

"How many requests did you take?" Asked the Ace of Fairy Tail.

"Hn, all of 'em," said Naruto with a victory sign.

"WHAT?" yelled Gildarts, which could be heard to the entire Magnolia.

"Yup. I thought of doing an S-class job, but I remembered my past encounters with them and thought of spending a while out of Guild exploring the world. So, I took all normal jobs except for chores and one S-class job" said Naruto with a toothy grin which Sirius replicated.

"How did you get Master's approval for all these jobs?" Asked Gildarts curiously.

"I gave him a Sorcerer's Magazine which had the list of most eligible female models to date," said Naruto with a smirk.

"It worked like a charm and the old man was deep in the book, he didn't see how many papers he stamped. I could swear that I saw a trail of blood from his nose" said Sirius in a happy tone but at the end, his tone changed into a confused one.

"I can't understand why," he said with a pout.

"I think (cough)(cough) Naruto will explain to you in a few years, Sirius. Don't bother your brain with such a thing" said Gildarts.

"Yes, I'll explain it later, Siri. Now let's get back on topic" said Naruto and Sirius pumped his small hands into the air.

"Yes! I'm gonna be S-class soon as well" yelled Sirius. Gildarts took a double-take as the small cat/jaguar he remembered grew into a 6-foot tall warrior with a sword in hand.

"You are going to be, Siri. I do not doubt that" said Naruto as he patted the talking jaguar who smiled at his father. Gildarts sighed at this.

"Damn, kid. You blew me up with this stunt of yours. Ok, whatever. Be on your way, I think I should take a break in a nearby town to cool myself" said Gildarts with a perverted smile rather than a perverted giggle that he was used to with Jiraiya.

"Be careful, Old man. I don't want to replace you so soon after becoming an S-class you know" said Naruto and walked off on his way.

"Right. Bye, Naruto, you as well, Sirius" said Gildarts and started walking into the forest surrounding Magnolia.

Meanwhile, In Fairy Tail Guildhall

As the members of the Guild opened their eyes groggily, clearing the sleep out of their eyes, they heard a yell.

"Nnnnnnnnnooooooo" came the voice of one of the Guildmates.

"What? What happened? I am chasing Igneel to answer me, why did you disturb me" said Natsu as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes.

"Aye, sir. I was eating this big fish all by myself without that ramen freak" said Happy much like Natsu.

"Guys, look!" Said Nab. Nab Lasaro, shortly Nab was an extremely tall, heavily muscular and massive young man, towering over most of his guildmates. His straight dark hair was styled in a bob cut, with a light-coloured band circling it near the top, and two curved bangs emerging from under it, framing the upper part of his face, which has a somewhat rectangular shape. Nab has prominent thick lips, and a pair of wide, horizontal white stripes, each covering one of his cheeks, somehow reminiscent of tribal war paint. Both of his shoulders are adorned by a white tattoo consisting of several circles, with a larger one in the centre being surrounded by smaller ones, in a shape resembling a stylized sun.

Nab always had a tribal look to his clothing. His attire consists of a dark, open vest, with its edges decorated by green and red triangles, and a fur loincloth held up by a belt adorned by many rings. His forearms and lower legs were covered in armour plates held up by ropes, and he also carried around several small, round skulls on his person, with many of them held together by cords, circling both his neck and waist. He is a year older than Erza, Mira and Naruto.

He seems to hang around the request board often, even though he doesn't get many jobs or missions to do. The reason why he hangs around it all the time is that he's looking for a "special job" that only he can do from Naruto's observations. And quite ironically, that is the reason why he shouted now.

"Nnnnnnnooooo. My special job" he said and fell to the ground as if he lost everything, catching his head in his hands.

"What?" Asked Gray who walked up to the request board.

"What is the meaning of this?" said Erza as she walked towards the group formed in front of the empty request board.

"Erza, the request board," said Lisanna and she looked at the empty board and her jaw hit the ground.

"What! Who took all the jobs" said Erza and turned to Makarov. By all jobs, she meant the high rewarding jobs in the normal jobs category, which give more than 100,000 jewels which comes between C-class to A-class difficulty.

Makarov was giggling like a schoolgirl as he went through the pages of the book given by Naruto. He felt stamping something but squashed as an image of his mind grabbing those sweet roun-.

"MASTER" came the voice of Erza. He looked in the direction of the voice to see an angry mob of Guildmembers walking towards him, led by Erza.

"Yes, my children. What a pleasant day it is" he said trying to divert their attention off him as he still didn't know the cause of this riot against him, from his happy children.

"Yes, it is a pleasant day. It would have been more pleasant if only we had more jobs to do" said Erza in a sweet tone.

"Yes it wo-Huh?!" Said the old man and glanced at the request board to find it empty compared to its normal requests capacity.

"Who took them, Master?" asked Erza in a demanding tone.

"Ah, I don't know," he said with a confused expression.

"We are going to find it," said Erza and started giving orders to all the assembled members. They don't know all their efforts are going to be in vain as at the end of the day, they couldn't find anything and it is going to be a mystery until the blonde boy who did it returns from all those jobs.

Meanwhile, In an Unknown Location

In an unknown location, a group of people assembled to discuss the way of things and their goals. These individuals hail from different Guilds and they are not particularly fans of light.

This group consists of Dark Guild members. Dark Guilds are guilds that are not officially recognized by the Magic Council; therefore, they are treated as criminal organizations.

There is very little information known about the hierarchy of Dark Guilds even to the Magic Council. Only details like their Masters and their Guildhalls are known and in some cases, that information is also not known. Like in the current scenario.

All Dark Guilds, like legal guilds, are run by their respective Guild Master. Some Dark Guilds have S-Class level Mages, but it is unknown if they are referred to as such.

The currently assembled individuals are more special even among the Dark Guilds as they belong to the strongest Dark Guilds as they are not measly members, rather, the Guild Masters of the three strongest Dark Guilds. These individuals are Brain/Zero, Hades and Mard Geer.

First was Brain or his alter ego, Zero. Brain has neat silver hair that reaches his shoulders, dark eyes and dark skin. He has unique markings on his face that take the shape of straight black lines. He is slightly taller and more muscular than most people.

After Brain's alter-personality Zero is unleashed, his appearance changes slightly. His hair becomes wavier, his eyes have turn into blood red, his skin becomes a much paler colour, and his outfit becomes something reminiscent of a military officer's outfit. Brain's Oración Seis mark is located on his chest.

Opposite to him was Hades. Hades is a tall, elderly man with long, slicked back, silvery-white hair, revealing his forehead. He also has a moustache, and a similarly long yet mildly thin and curly beard, reaching down to his lower chest. He has some wrinkles on his face, as evident of his extremely advanced age; nonetheless, despite this age, his figure is muscular and well defined. His right eye is usually seen covered by a simple eye patch.

His attire consists of a dark shirt paired with armoured shoulder pads and shiny gauntlets, as well as chain-mail covering the parts of his arms remaining exposed, simple light pants with flames near the edges - held up by what looks like a light belt composed of two straps with the relative buttons, possibly part of the pants themselves, and dark, simple shoes/boots. Over this outfit, he wears a large, dark cape, bearing Grimoire Heart’s symbol on the back and sporting a mantle with a high collar, lighter-coloured borders and jagged lower edges.

On the other side was the last member and the master of Tartaros, Mard Geer Tartaros. Mard Geer is tall, lean and has the appearance of a young man. Often seen wearing a smirk, Mard Geer's dark purple hair is long and wavy, reaching his shoulders even whilst the majority is tied up in a very large ponytail. Additionally, his messy bangs all but obscure his dark, slanted black eyes.

For clothing, Mard Geer dons a long, black jacket trimmed with a light-coloured flame pattern, the lapels are a matching lighter colour as well. The cuffs of his jacket are rolled up, revealing a light-coloured inside, which contrasts the black outside of his jacket, and have a black line cutting through the edge of the fabric. The jacket itself is tattered and splits into four torn fabric segments at the tail. Beneath the jacket, Mard Geer wears a frilly black v-necked shirt, lined in a lighter colour, that closes down the middle and is adorned with a buckle just below his clavicle; just below this is a piece of fabric that Mard Geer keeps over this shirt but under his jacket, that circles the majority of the lower half of his torso.

The rest of his attire is simple, consisting of light-coloured pants that lay lazily over the top of rather plain black boots and have, on each leg, a seam running down the middle, as well as two pairs of buckles that form an X on the thigh and lower calf. However, the buckles on each thigh later disappear, leaving only the ones on each calf.

They sat around an ornately decorated table on 3 sides. Mard Gear in the middle, Hades to his right and Brain on his left.

These 3 Guilds together form Balam Alliance. The Balam Alliance was an alliance between the three most powerful Dark Guilds in Fiore. Despite being referred to as an alliance, the three guilds do not interact with each other at all, and their alliance is nothing more than a non-aggression pact.

"So what is all this about?" Asked Mard Gear in a nonchalant tone.

"We are here to discuss the general way of things and a possible new threat," said Hades as he stood up. No one made a move to stop the old man as he started to roam across the room with a lacrima following him.

"We all have different objectives and made a non-aggression pact a few years past," said Hades in a calm tone.

"Yes, I'm aware of that," said Mard Gear as he narrowed his eyes at the walking old man.

"I don't want to go into details of what we have done, but we have not interfered with each other according to the pact"

"Come to the point, old bastard," said Brain as he can't tolerate all this build up suspense.

"Well, I'm talking about a new S-class mage that had popped up"

"S-class? What does it mean?" said Mard Gear. This is his first time hearing that word. He didn't understand why do Humans some things anyway, then why bother trying.

"An S-class mage is a powerful human mage who can destroy an entire town at least and a small nation at best and these are standards for normal S-class mages. We are talking about an S-class mage of Fairy Tail" said Hades with disdain. No one knew why the old coot held such disdain for the strongest recognised Guild of Fiore, but they didn't care.

"So what? My pawns can easily destroy a town. Why should I be cautious about this?" Asked Brain in an angry tone. He didn't care for a village and a man who can destroy a village is nothing.

"I'm just giving you information. You don't know when such information comes in handy" said Hades in a calm tone. Mard Geer saw through his lie. He is the Underworld King, a Demon of the books of Zeref after all. Such puny tricks are easy to see through for him, a being of such a superior race.

"Well, if that is all, I'll take my leave," said Mard Geer. He is not interested in this conversation anymore. If they want to talk about something, they can. He doesn't care. His figure vanished in a white fire with black edges to it and the seat he sat was left unscathed by the act.

"How arrogant," said Brain. But Hades knew what happened. That Mard Geer saw through his lie and left as he had no interest in the matter. He called them only to talk about this.

He wants to have a good idea of this new character Naruto, that Ultear explained to him about. From the report sent by Makarov, Naruto and Erza made it to S-class during the last S-class trials.

They know about Erza and her magic as she is a Requip mage and saw her progress as he kept an eye on everything that was happening in Fairy Tail. After all, he should know well about his enemy. Only then will they be able to defeat them in battle.

Fairy Tail is not only the strongest Guild in Fiore but also the Guild which is filled with kind individuals who treat each other like family. He does not doubt that any plan they had will be interrupted by Fairy Tail one way or another.

"What do you suggest, Hades?" asked Brain, losing his temper at the display of arrogance of the 'Master' of Tartarus. He is going to teach them a lesson when gets what he wants.

"I thought of testing him. Test his capabilities. That will give us a good idea of his strength and power. We'll move from there" said Hades.

"What if he proves himself to be strong?" asked Brain.

"Well, then, we'll either take care of him now or develop some plan against him in the future"

"Ok, who do you suggest we send?"

"Hmm. I think sending someone of our underling Guilds members will be best I guess. We don't want to spill our strongest weapons to our enemy, right?" Said Hades to which Brain nodded. He may be a Dark mage and a Dark Guild Master now, he is an intelligent man as he was the chairman of the Bureau of Magical Development.

"Whom to send?" Thought Hades aloud.

"I think I have a perfect experiment for that," said Brain.

"Oh, who are they?" asked Hades in curiosity.

"They are called A and B and are one of the test subjects in my time with the Bureau of Magic Development. They will suit this well. If not, we can assume he is strong" he said with a smirk.

"Ok, you prepare them while I track his location and the way he was heading," said Hades and both of them disappeared in purple and green flames respectively.

Meanwhile, With Naruto

Naruto was on his way to his next job. He completed a few jobs in the past few weeks. He is currently on his way to a town where he is going to deal with a borderline S-class job. The job was an extermination mission much like most other jobs.

The Job was about a creature calling itself a Sea king. Some kind of Monster. It was estimated around A-class and if this creature has any subordinates, then it is definitely going to make it to S-class. These type of Jobs which vary in difficulty based on circumstances pays a lot as well as their class is unknown until the enemy is assessed. For example, the reward for this job is 1million Jewels right now. If it makes to S-class difficulty, then it may vary.

This job came this morning which he picked up from a clone he placed in the Guild Hall as he is the nearest person to the town and any mage who took it takes time to come here.

He laughed his ass off when he saw the reactions of the Guild members to his pranks. Poor fellows searched for the whole day to find anything relating to the disappearance of jobs but couldn't find anything.

He can see the wall of the town from his place and took off into the sky to get good birds-eye views of the town. The village has a dark cloud on it which is pouring rain continuously. Before he could do something, Sirius dispersed the clouds.

"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough," said Sirius and with a large gust of wind, all the clouds were blown away. They landed on the wall to see a large creature in the middle of town fighting what was left of the resistance.

As it is dry now, the Sea King was the most humanoid of all the other figures Naruto can see. He, Naruto assumed it to be a male as he claimed to be Sea King instead of Queen. He was a large, muscular being with dark-green skin on his arms, legs, and back and light skin on his chest and abdomen. He had sharp eyes, large fangs, and fins protruding from either side of his head. In place of eyebrows were small pink ovals. His attire consisted of a red speedo, an ornate crown, and a large fur-trimmed cape fastened in front with a fish-head-shaped clasp. He had crown-shaped nipples for some reason.

Naruto didn't think about it much. He saw something even more bizarre in his life. This is nothing. Sirius though had a different reaction.

"What the hell is that?" Shouted the young Jaguar. Though because of the long distance between them, the creature seems to not have heard that.

"That is what it claims to be, Sirius. Didn't you dive deep into the water to see such creatures" asked Naruto. In return, he got a black stare. He dug his own grave.

"Ah, uh. I guess we are going to do that next time. Hehe" said Naruto with a sheepish expression. Sirius nodded and patted Naruto's shoulders at that.

"Good. Plan that next time" said Sirius and Naruto nodded. They looked around to see anyone helping the King in the middle. There were some other creatures who had similar appearances to the one in the middle doing all kinds of destruction to the town.

"Well it seems you have work to do, Sirius," said Naruto gesturing to all the water creatures destroying the town.

"Don't you fools have anyone strong enough to challenge the Sea King?" asked the monster as he tried to kill a fighter who was saved by Naruto.

"My, my. What an unworthy King you are" he said in a nonchalant tone.

"Who do you think you are talking to, Human. I'm the Sea king. The one who controls the seas and everything you worthless humans do is to kill the seas. I'm going to make you pay for everything you have done" he said in an angry tone.

"And how do you plan on doing that, Oh great Sea King," asked Naruto.

"By exterminating you all good for nothing trash of course," he said and a water whip made its way to Naruto. Naruto smirked at the incoming water whip.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I suggest you evacuate the town. If things get ugly, I don't know how much damage will happen to the town" he said and a path was made for them to leave by Sirius as he pointed in the straight direction to exit. He is going to take care of all the monsters that try to stop the evacuation.

They all rushed towards the exit and soon the battle began. Blows and punches could be heard for miles because of the strength in the attacks of both parties. They heard a slurping sound but didn't turn because of the fear of the monster. Naruto drank all the water in the whip, making it disappear into his mouth.

"Water doesn't damage me," he said in a smug tone. With no option, the Sea King started a hand to hand combat with the blonde boy.

Both of them didn't stop. They continued their pure physical brawl and none was the victor for some time. But the Sea King noticed something, his body is getting damaged as the fight continued. This is bad for him.

If this goes on, he is going to be severely injured in no time and that means losing this fight. And he is not going to lose. He is the King of the Seas after all.

"What's the matter, getting beaten?" Asked Naruto in a mocking tone, further infuriating the Sea King.

"I'll make you pay for this" he yelled and made a whistle type sound. All the creatures fighting Sirius turned to the Sea King and started running his way.

Clouds formed in the sky and rain starting and it intensified after some time. Irrespective of Sirius's efforts, the clouds are not parting. A cynical laugh was heard from the Sea King and Naruto turned to see a large figure instead of his previous appearance.

This form was much larger and imposing. He developed a dorsal fin running the length of his back and grew fins on his forearms and shoulders, and the fins on the side of his face grew larger. His skin turned aquamarine, and his face lost its humanoid appearance and became larger and more monstrous. His body grew at least 2-3 times in height and his eyes had this deep blue edge in them with a black iris in the middle as it was like the depth of the Sea. His magic and strength increased by the multiple of 5 from what Naruto can sense.

"That was my dry form you human shit. I'm weaker in that form and my body is divided to cause large scale destruction. But in this form, all my body parts will be combined and my true form will be revealed. This form is at least 5 times stronger than my last form" said the Sea Ki-monster. He is no King now. He is just a monster who wants to cause chaos and destruction.

"What do you want to do?" Asked Naruto, civilly. If he can settle this issue with words, that would be easier for both parties.

"I'm gonna kill you and then destroy this place, district, country and wo-" his monologue was cut short by a fast-approaching projectile that scratched the monsters face. He turned to see an annoyed Naruto who had his hands in a flickering motion.

"I don't want to hear all your dialogues. So you want to destroy this world, that's it right"

"Yes, I'm gonna make this wo-" his speech was interrupted again by 2 fast needles which the Sea monster can see now.

"Ok, then you die," said Naruto and started their battle again, but this time with magic. His Light Magic is creating all types of sharp objects to nick or injures the sea monster, the shit kept on healing itself fastly to properly damage it.

"Hahahahaha. You can't damage me, Human. As long this rain falls, I can heal myself and these clouds won't disperse easily. They are made of my magic" he said in a smug tone with maniacal glee.

"Oh, so all I have to do is to disperse the clouds and then deal with you, huh. Well I have a perfect wind technique for that" said Naruto. These dark clouds are thick, but his signature technique does devastating damage to anything it touches.

"Are you gonna do it?" Asked Sirius. The technique they were talking about was Sirius's aim to master. The Wind Style: Rasenshuriken is one of the most destructive Jutsu in Naruto's arsenal and a loud one as it makes a screeching noise when fully formed.

The technique is extremely heavy, Aldoron was surprised that Naruto could throw the highly-dense magical technique like it was a ball.

"Wind Style: Rasenshuriken," said the blonde and threw the wind ball towards the dark clouds above. As it reached the clouds, the screeching ball tore the clouds apart and expanded as a vortex in all directions. The clouds dispersed soon after the attack died and light hit the town as usual.

"Well, that takes care of it," said Naruto and turned to the Sea Kind who was started to sweat and pale because of the light.

"You bastard, I'm going to make you pay for this" he yelled and sprinted towards Naruto in rage.

Outskirts of town Ceasa

The townsfolk were watching everything in wonder. This is the first in some of their lives to see a mage live in action. They cheered as the clouds parted, making way to the beautiful evening sun. 2 figures were seen smirking at the display in front of them.

"Interesting," said one of them.

"Certainly," said the other. These 2 are A&B. The 2 experiments sent by Brain to test the blonde boy.

How did they find Naruto and came here is to be seen?
