Chapter 16: Introduction Of The Shadow Hunters

As we run away we did not stop till we ran far enough to not be found, as the man in black looked at me clearly not knowing I was in the house before, he tells me 'it is not safe to be in a town like this alone, where are your parents', I tell him I was making a request by the guildhall to find them, as he asks me what happened, I would make up a fake story, not trusting the man in black, he did not seem as dangerous as before in the house, as a guard passes them the man in black turns toward the guard whispering him something as the guard starts to run toward the way the bandit was knocked out, as he tells me to follow him.

I followed him for a while, after a few minutes we would arrive at a house in the middle of the town, the windows blocked with darkened glass, as the man in black opens the door, there were a few more people in full black clothes all face covered inside, he tells me to follow him inside, as he shows the request paper from the guildhall, that he accepted the quest, I followed him inside not trusting it still, as the door closed, the man would remove his hood and mask, introducing himself Jack, the other people removed their masks as well, one other man and two women, they tell me their names too, Maria, Vanessa, Grey.

As I introduce myself to them as well, he tells me to sit down by the table so they can discuss how we going to handle the situation as he tells me, these quests have been made more than you might expect them to be, that is how this group was made, we are the ones dealing with these types of creatures and quests, we are... 'The Shadow Hunters', as he tells this he looks me straight in the eyes, 'I also know you were in that house we were before, but you looked very scared so we left you there watching you from the shadows so we could talk to you when you reached the town', 'of course, we would have stepped in if anything happened, like the men who passed your tent last night'.
