Chapter 9 Going to a Mystic

The rest of the morning I waited what the rest of the family did. Hank went out and never came back this morning, Monica stared at books all the time and Alicia was the most interesting one.

As i watched Alicia she let her falcon Arko appear out of her tattoo and the tattoo disappeared. It was strange to see a falcon appear out of the face of a young woman. Arko and Alicia played a bit and then went into the garden I couldn't follow because they closed the door before me so I was laying around the rest of the morning til Sophie came down.

Sophie was quite excited, she basically was running down the stairs and screamed ,"Mom I'm finished. Can we do the contract right now?". Monica looked up from the book she was staring at this hole time and looked at Sophie. "You are finished, show me your contract!" somehow Monica was more excited than her daughter and ripped the paper Sophie was holding right out of her hand.

She looked at it with excitement, Sophie was stunned by her mothers actions and stared blankly at her.

After a little while Sophie asked her mother, "Mom is everything OK with the ritual circle?". With this question she finally looked back at Sophie and could compose herself. Monica took once again a deep breath and answered truthfully at her daughter, "I don´t know we need to ask Master Leenoriel he knows more about Arcane magic than I do.".

Sophie showed a bright smile on her face, "Can I really meet Master Leenoriel?". Her eyes started to shine like tiny little stars before her mother finally nodded and the started to jump around in joy, "I get to meet Leenoriel, I get to meet Leenoriel, I get to meet Leenoriel, I get to meet Leenoriel." this continued til her mother interrupted her, "Sophie. SOPHIE! You need to promise me that you will listen to me and do not misbehave.".

"Yes Mom." followed by continuing her dance and the joy full singing "I get to meet Leenoriel, I get to meet Leenoriel, I get to meet Leenoriel, I get to meet Leenoriel, I get to meet Leenoriel.". When Sophie finally calmed down she looked at me, "do you know how Leenoriel is Pochi?" before I could do anything she already continued, "He is a Mysticer, a type of Mageknight that is Proficent in the arts of making magic Items, but that is not all there is to him he is one of the four heroes that saved this town and I will meet him.".

Sophie turned around to look at her mother, but while Sophie was talking to me Monica already went out of the door. As Sophie realized that her mother already left she hurried after her. Now I was left alone and didn't knew what to do. After a short while, Sophie came back fetched a lash and put it on me with, but it on me with the word´s "Come Pochi we need to hurry, before mother leaves the zone.".

We hurriedly left home to follow Monica. When we finally reached Monica she was waiting before a gate of the wall. "Sophie, what took you so long. Come, we need to cross over two zones, so hurry up a bit."."I know mom, but I forgot to take Pochi because someone left so suddenly" said Sophie.

Monica just turned around and said, "we don´t have time for this Sohpie, Morris can you let us pass?" The guard Morris looked at Monica, "You can pass, but we need to check Sophie and the little dog she has on her lash.", but before the guard could do anything Monica tells the guard," the dog is not contracted jet, we are on the way to the royal academy to contract him."

The guard looked at Monica a bit confused, but told her to follow him inside the guard house to finish a bit of paperwork. As we waited for Monica to finish the paperwork Sophie played a bit with me, it was pretty fun.

When Monica came back we passed the gate, behind the gate was another town, or it looked like another one. The buildings were all a bit bigger and fancier than the ones in our town. Our destination wasn't in this town. We went to another gate and passed that one too.

After this was another town, this time the town had a castle and a big tower. We went straight to the tower and entered it. Inside the tower was a fountains and a reception with a woman behind it. Monica went straight for the stairs, the woman at the reception welcomed her. We climbed the stairs.

A short chapter, but there will be an extra realease for a poll with information.
