《Demonology For Morons》Master And Me

Chapter 5
Preparations are almost complete. I can’t wait to see the look on his face! I’d like to see Masters face at all actually, just once… STOP THAT! Okay just one or two more swings of the pick and let’s hope as hard as we can that one of these idiots next to me don’t ruin my masterful plan. DONE.
Now all I need is to get master stand over here but how do I do that. I need to hurry up if one of these idiots hit the wrong place…
Oh right the idiots. I turn and look closely at the creepy little imp standing closest to me. He notices and looks at me a little confused so I think to him sorry little guy but your hero will remember your sacrifice. Then I hit him as hard and as fast as I can which isn’t very but its fast enough for the little idiot who wasn’t expecting it. He falls hard on his ass dropping his pick and looks up at me with wide eyes trying to get away. Aww look he’s scared, don’t worry little guy it’ll be over soon. I pick back up my pick and swing down as hard as I can on him.
Oops missed his head. However his shoulders crushed and now he’s screaming as loud as he can while the other idiots are backing as far away from me as they can with panic in their eyes. None of them seem like they know what to do. How could they, there idiots.
“WHAT THE HELLS GOING ON OVER HERE!”(summoner)
Ahhhh that soothing voice. NO focus.
“What happened? Did the roof collapse again?”(summoner)
Oh now he sees how the idiots are looking at me and my bloody pick.
“You, you were the weird one laughing when that other one was crushed aren’t you. Damn just my luck to summon an abnormal imp of all things. If we were back at my magic school you’d be really useful but were not so I’m going to have to kill you before you create more problems.”(summoner)

Abnormal? Well no shit there’s nothing normal about a hero!
He takes a few steps forward and swings down at me with his stick, but I already know he likes to hit things with that so I stumble a bit to the side to dodge and get my pick ready.
“Damn, stop moving and let me hit you.”(summoner)
Yes Master!
When he sees me stop moving he smiles and walks over next to me and says “Good dumb imp.” Then he brings up his staff to cave in my head. Too bad it doesn’t really matter because now he’s standing where I used to mine and towards the end I wasn’t mining for shiny rocks I was doing something much more fun so while he’s saying something and getting ready to hit me I’ve already started swinging my pick right into the wall.
First he looks surprised. Then he starts laughing and gets ready to say something but I never find out what it was because just like that idiot from before rocks start collapsing and crush him. When the dust finally settles I can see master. The rocks are all on his chest and legs. His heads a bit banged up but he’s still alive.
Master I am impressed. I can say wholeheartedly that probably would have killed me, you did well. Don’t worry I’ll end it so you don’t have to suffer any longer and so I can go find something more interesting than this cave. Mostly the second part though. Hmmm what are you looking at? Your stick? Is that what you want? To die with your beloved stick?
I pick up the long and heavy stick and drag it a bit closer to master his eyes light up a bit and he starts making a gurgling noise while blood leaks out of his mouth reaching for it. I slowly bring the stick closer to masters hand then stop and move it away as I start to smile. Awww Master looks so cute with that look in his eyes as he stares desperately at the stick. I bring it closer, I take it back, closer, back, closer, back.

Hehe
Aww now he’s looking at me. He looks really upset but it’s too late because his movements are getting weaker and weaker while my smile gets wider and wider.
Level Increased To Level 6
Bonus Stat Points +12
What’s a Stat Point. WHO CARES! Don’t interrupt my fun time with master. AHH he’s dead. Well the least I can do is give him back his stick. Now what? Oh right I gotta break that summoning circle and fulfil my duty as a hero!
That’s fine and all but suddenly I realize when I turn around that all the idiots are just standing there staring at me. You don’t think they hold a grudge for trying to kill one of them right?
Right?

The Casual
Notice: On hiatus. *profanity tag added just in case a bit of swearing is required, but I'll try to keep it as profanity-lite as possible* RealWorldIII came with the motto "Bringing the imagination back into the gaming" with an innovative skill combination system that promises to create unique (see: not-actually-unique) characters tailored to each player's preferences (see: we-swear-it's-not-random) Alex is a random guy with the motto "Well... whatever" with a history of being at the top of the gaming scene (see: he was a kid back then) that after twenty years of working for daily necessities finds himself facing a tough dilemma: do I go back to being a corporate slave, or do I gain money by playing a game no questions asked? (see: not really a dilemma) The only question is, can an actual "casual", even if ex-pro, survive constantly playing a game? or will he end banging his head on the wall? The story will unfold mainly in-game, with little if any real life events happening.

Frameshift
Magic. Math. Not a whole lot of context. Two months ago, I was a wormhole navigator, ripping open a hole in the universe to save a ship of people who only vaguely tolerated me. Two weeks ago, long story short, I threaded an impossible path through the void between dimensions to crash-land into a dungeon. You know the kind: monsters to defeat, corridors full of traps to avoid, and magical powers to earn. I'm not ashamed to admit that it's been two weeks of loneliness, fear, adrenaline, and constant injury. But I'll make it out of here by myself if I have to, or my name isn't Adam Leviathan James. ... too bad the Levi doesn't stand for Leviathan, huh. AN: Expectations should include in medias res, violence, smut, friendship, and powers/progression systems with absolutely an insufficiency of context and (at least at first) no definitions or explanations, and magic-as-programming/engineering (with something of an emphasis on "what if magical runework were an analogue to circuit diagrams"). System Prime
The legend of System Prime is one that has been told and retold many times over the eons. About how she, along with her trusted partner, travelled the worlds of Ahunna (a.hoon.a), sharing the [Gift of System] to all who needed it. It is a great story. Somewhat factual too. As long as you overlook the fact that System Prime was never a woman. —— If this story seems familiar to you, then congratulations, you're psychic. Well, that or you've read it before on my old account, Eli8iR, which I had to delete because of a probably silly reason that will need a shitton of weed to make me spill. If you don't recognize this story, then unfortunately you're not psychic. On the bright side though, it has been scientifically proven that reading my stories might make you psychic. Or blind. But that only happened twice, and those guys should not have badmouthed my work. Enjoy.

How Far I'll Go
"It's just my family I guess." Tommy mumbled upset."What's wrong with your family?" Mr Awe asked, feeling confused. "I don't think it's what's wrong with them, I'm beginning to think it's what's wrong with me." Tommy answered, not looking up to meet his teacher's eyes. "What do you mean by that, Tommy?" The older asked, spinning around in his chair to show Tommy that he had his full attention and would be listened to. "It's just- like- I show them how well I'm doing in school and they don't even care! Like aren't parents meant to be proud of their children or something? That's what I hear but my dad is never proud of me! It's always 'Wilbur this' or 'Techno that' but it's never about Tommy! Am I not good enough for them or something?" Tommy blurted out before he could stop himself. It was like once he got one word out, the rest just came tumbling after. He had waited his whole life to get this off his chest and he had finally found a willing listener. OR, Tommy Craft is a neglected eleven year old who just wants somebody to listen to him. And he finds a few people while enjoying doing something he loves.
