This story is actually having a story line, woooop!

Maybe I can continue the old story as a side story of his past life, if you guys want.

It was the darkest of nights.

In the darkness hurried footsteps could be heard.

They were faint.

In fact, even experts would find it difficult to hear.

The footsteps then suddenly came to a halt.

They belonged to a Man.

He was currently in a forest and was waiting out side a door of a wooden house.

He knocked and waited patiently.

His powerful body was tense and an aura of death was around him.

...But these people, even he couldn't afford to anger.

The door opened to reveal an Ancient man with a long white beard.

Man :"How is she?"

A man whispered quietly and quickly.

The voice held authority and regalness, yet the tone of his voice was soft and the worry in his voice couldn't be told with words.

Old Man:"Where have you been!?" His whisper also held power.

This voice was ancient and hoarse.

Man:"I went back to cover our tra-" He stopped to find the Old man anxiously staring at him.

"...It's not that bad, is it?"

The man could tell the situation had took a turn for the worst.

*Sigh*

The Old mans expression was unsightly and he sighed.

The Old Man quickly gestured him in.

The inside of the cabin was far larger than expected.

An illusion!

The inside was large, and as soon as they entered, they stood outside a room in a long

corridor.

Old man:"They're both behind this door, according to my wife her temperature started rising rapidly. Nothing can cool her down... Not even me..."

The Man's quickly grew wide and his skin turned paler.

Man: "What do you mean? Aren't you the strongest water expert in our world! This has only been happening for a day, surely you can fix it...?" He said frantically.

Old Man shook his head: "It's hopeless... the fire is... unique? No... beyond that! I have met unique element users, but this is on a whole knew level!" The Old man started to get excited.

Man: "What fire! Let me see her, I..."

Old Man: "No! She's in a critical Juncture! Let my wife handle it. It might be too late for her, but what about your children!"

The Man clenched his fists and drew blood.

"AAARGHHH!"

A shrill scream could be heard from the next room.

Man:"Lily!"

The Man suddenly dissappeared and reappeared in the room next door.

The old man also materialised next to him.

Man:"W-what?" The Man was shocked... Out of the Hundreds of thousands years of his life, this is the first he had seen of this.

The room they entered was clean. The wooden walls were shining and there was magic crystal in the centre of the room, on the ceiling, keeping everything well lit.

The floor was made from marble, giving the room a luxurious image.

It didn't look like a room of a wooden cabin.

The Man frantically ran to his wifes side and grasped her severely burnt hand.

The women was in a dire state, her once beatiful skin was now burnt and flaky.

The stench of burning flesh covered the room.

Man:"Lily speak to me! Please!"

Lily: "Rayne..."*COUGH*

The man, Rayne, looked helplessly, as his wife coughed blood.

Her eyes dimmed.

Rayne:"Lily, don't give up! Please..."

Lily:"Of-course I'm not giving up, you idiot!" *COUGH* *COUGH*

Rayne:"Lily, Are you OK? Don't speak, we're gonna heal you after this!"

Raynes eyes grew moist and he started trembling as he clenched her hand.

Old Women: "The first ones out, a boy, like we sensed."

Still... the man never left his wifes side.

He continued to tremble and couldnt say anything else.

Lily: *Cough* "Rayne, after all... these years... we're finally... having kids... be happy!"

She said, looking at the state of her husband with teary eyes and a smile accross her face.

If it wasn't for her willpower, she shouldn't even be able to survive the pain!

Rayne forced a sad smile in his face and they both stared into each others eyes.

The couple have been together since they were children.

They've been together for millions of years.

WIthin their gazes they sent each other a deep message.

The message contained all the emotions they felt while they were together.

Love. Happinness. Sadness. Grief.

Millions of years went past in seconds.

Their childhood. Them sitting together on top of their home, watching the moon and stars.

Their friends. Meeting them, learning with them and fighting with them.

The parties in taverns, and their stupidity.

And their love... that didn't falter over the millions of years.

That's still as strong as the day they first kissed.

Lily:"Our second ones coming... aah. I can already tell he's going to give you both the most trouble. What...ah, are we going to name them?"

The reason she's not screaming is not only because of her powerful body, but because she was determined not to worry her husband.

Even a sovereign would scream from the sheer pain.

Rayne gave a warm gaze to the child in the powerful old womens arms.

"We'll name the first one Zeff. Short for Zephyr meaning soft, gentle breeze.

I can practically feel the wind particles surrounding him."

Rayne went over and picked Zephyr, who was crying, up.

Lily smiled happily towards Rayne and Zeff.

"What about--- ARGH--AAAARGGHHHH!"

The pain too unbearable, before she could even finish, her body turned to ash.

All that was left was a little red haired baby.

Unlike the first baby, this baby wasn't crying and just stared curiously at everyone.

------------A couple of minutes Earlier-------------

{Fenix: "Zephyr, we're currently inside our mother."}

It really is loud in here.

Can't these organs take a brake?

At least it's comf-- Oh wait-- were burning... it fucking hurts even me!

The only bad thing about re-incarnation... well except for being born an insect,

that happens too often, good thing I had Zephyr to help me choose the people.

I put a barrier around us with my real body and protected our soul, but the attack clashing with the barrier in our soul should still cause immense pain.

The only reasons we can't scream is because were babies.

{Zephyr:"My mind is growing hazy, whats happening?"}

{Fenix:"It seems your losing your memories, to be honest this is my first time actually ringing

someone with me, even though I can. Don't worry, your memories of this life will definitely return when your soul goes back to your main bodies.

That way, you will have all the knowledge and insights in your main body.

For some reason, I can't lose my memories, your lucky. Also losing your memories will help with your training, since you will act as a normal mortal so you should be able to understand how they live. You'll definitely get insights."}

{Zephyr:"I see... so you will be free to manipulate me through this life?

{Fenix:"Hue hue, Your too clever sometimes, don't worry, I will take very good care of you."

Rayne was staring at the child with cold eyes.

It was obvious his beloved was burnt to ash because of him.

The red hair emphasises his suspicion.

Rayne:"I'll leave you alive only because thats what my wife wanted. But know this... your no son of mine! Tch, you have no right to call Lily your mother, you demonic beast!"

Fenix just stares at him with a curious expression and tilts his head.

Fenix:[Well... I was one in my previous life. I guess I'll be seperated with Zeffy for a while.

Sigh....] Fenix looks at the ash around him and remembers the screams of agony...

[Why can't I ever have a fulfilling life?]

In fact, out of the countless re-incarnations fenix had, none of them were fulfilling.

He never had children or lovers, because of him having the soul of a Pheonix every time he attempted they would burn to ash. That's why Pheonixes are thought of as noble, they only breed with their own kind, unlike other magical beasts that can turn human.

With this said, Fenix had only encountered 1 pheonix before, and that 1 was a male.

The pheonixes also need to have around the same level of power or else the weaker one would be engulfed.

All the other primordials have had lovers, even Zephyr!

Thats one of the reasons why Fenix has been stubborn and continued re-incarnating.

His lovers also get destroyed through conflict with his enemies or held as hostages.

If they survive that, they end up leaving him because of his obsession for training.

Though he loves training, he is not obsessed with it, he has to keep constantly training or the mana building up in his body won't be able to be controlled and he will explode.

This is because his soul absorbs and purifies mana at an impossible rate!

He also has another reason for re-incarnating.

This reason is a secret.

A secret only Fenix knows.

His main reason for persisting.

The secret to unlocking a humanoids true potential!

The potential that allows them to meet the people above the primordials.

Fenix was the only one to have met him, his creator...

His father... his true father, the creator of the primordial sovereigns in his multiverse.

(AN: Humanoid refers to non magical beasts. His true father shall be known as Primordial Father while Rayne will be known as Human father.]

While Fenix was lost in his own thoughts:

Rayne:"Even though I said I'm not going to kill him you both are very welcome to.

I'm very sorry for the trouble I caused, elders."

Old man:"Are you really not taking him? Hilda say something!"

Hilda: "Deyrus is right. This isn't what Lily would have wante-!"

Rayne:"I've made my decision, there's nothing elders can do to convince me."

They both continue trying to comfort and convince him for a while.

Rayne then disappears, with Zephyr in his arms.

The Old man and women were left alone with the child.

Fenix:[Holy crap, although these two are high gods, they can definitely take on lesser sovereigns! When they actually reach lesse soveriegn... well I think my Human father, Rayne, is on the same level as them... No wonder this world is famous for it's experts.]

Old man Deyrus: "Kid, I guess you'll be stuck be with us now, huh."

They both give Fenix a look full of sadness and sympathy.

Old women Hilda: "You can call me Grandma and that old man 'Baka' from now on." Says Hilda warmly, as picks Fenix up.

Fenix:[I'm older than your multiverse and your creator....]

Grandpa Deyrus: "Who are you calling idiot you bit--"

Grandma Hilda:"Your setting a good example with vulgar language like that!"

Grandpa Deyrus:"I'm one of the oldest beings in the multiverse! I'm older than those stupid lesser sovereigns that only know how to fuse with cores! Soon I'll reach that rank and EVERYONE SHALL BOW DOWN BEFORE ME! MWAHAHA!"

Grandpa Hilda:"I'm the same age as you and too will be reaching the lesser sovereign rank! And you will be doing no such things like domination, we're too old for things like that! WE ARE RETIRED!"

Grandpa Deyrus:"Then why do you make me train non-stop! Aarrgh!

Why do only the young-uns get all the action! Your ageist!"

Grandma Hilda:"Like I said I'm the same age as you!"

Fenix:[How did these guys even stay this long together! Won't it drive them crazy!"

Grandma Hilda:"WELL I'M MAKING DINNER!"

Grandpa Deyrus:"WELL I'M GOING HUNTING!"

Grandma Hilda: "FINE!"

Grandpa Deyrus: "Hmph, FINE!"

Fenix:[I see... so that's how...]

They both go their own ways, Hilda makes Fenix float behind her.

Grandpa Deyrus: "Oh, make curry! With some of that herbal tea as well!"

Granma Hilda: "Only if you get me some High god magical beast meat: Draconic Tiger!"

They both nod and leave, slamming the door behind them.

Granpda and Grandma: "Hmph!"

Mean while, Fenix was thinking of his future.

Fenix:[MEAT!]
