Author's note : I am not really good with status and tables and other stuff. So forgive me for the mistakes in this chapter. I needed to make this to keep the story moving. I will update this chapter later when i get better at this.

The adventurers guild is bustling from crowd. There are just too many people at this place. I wonder if this is a popular thing in this world.

“Is this popular?”

“Ah, It is really popular between youth. It gives them adventure. It is also a job that doesn’t need much qualifications. All you have to do is register yourself in this guild. Also, you have to be at least 15 year old”

“wow, i guess this is a great way to provide job and food for people as well as eliminating monsters.”

“Yes it is but it is also dangerous. Many times young new adventurers takes quests that is too hard for them and end up dying.”

I see. I remember Gran and others from before. I think wolves may have been too hard to fight for them.

“So what should we do now Aria?

“We first have to go to one of the counters over there and register ourselves as adventurers. We also need to fill in application for status plates for both of us.”

I looked towards counters and saw a beautiful receptionist at one of the counters. I don’t know why but i think we should go to her.

We moved at the counter and the lady greeted us with a big smile on her face.

“Welcome!, How may i help you?”

“We want to register ourselves and also like to apply for status plates for both of us.”

“Alright, that will be 30 silvers. Please fill this form over here.”

I put my hand in the leather pouch and took out 30 silver coins. By the way, this worlds currency is copper, silver and gold coins.

100 copper = 1 silver

10 silver = 1 gold

I give it to the counter lady. She counts it and hands us the forms. We both take a minute before handing the filled forms to lady.

“hmmm...everything seem right. Just wait a minute.”

Counter lady goes in the back and comes out after five minutes.

“There you go. This is your guild card.”

She gave us rectangular card made of metal. In my card, it was written as

“Your rank will be updated, every time when you pass the certain criteria.” Counter lady said.

Aria’s card was also the same as me. The counter lady then showed us two plates and told us to drop a little blood on them. As i dropped my blood on it. The status plate started glowing and after what seemed like five seconds it stopped glowing. I can now see some information in it.

“Master is truly amazing.” Aria said with star forming in her eyes.

Maybe i got stronger by fighting with those monsters.

“hmmmm...wait there is something more here.”

“ah..those must be special abilities and skills. Those are exclusive for only the owner of the status plate to see. Just put your finger on it and you will be able to see it.” Counter lady said.

“ okay..here we go..”

What is this? Is it because of this that i can’t die? Why did i have something like this?

Aria noticed my tense expression. She grabbed my hand. I looked at her worried expression. I give her a smile and pat her head before turning my head towards counter lady.

“do you know something about invincibility?”

“hmm..I never heard of something like this?” She replies while tilting her head.

“There is also some gibberish on it. I don’t understand.”

“That means, some features of this ability are still unavailable for you. You will be able to see them when you get stronger or meet certain conditions.”

“okay i guess this is it. Where can we choose quests from?”

“ah..just choose anyone from that board over there.”

I moved over to the notice board and looked over to the quests. I found one, it is hard but with my ability it will be alright.

“I have decided i choose that one.”

“hmmm...ahahahhaha..come on Mr. Den that was a good one.”

“What is so funny about this?”

“Wait you really intend to choose that one? Are you out of your mind?” The counter lady shouted.

“Why not? Is it that hard?”

“Hard? That is the Dragon elimination quest and not only any dragon but the Great Black Dragon King that has been living in the forest for centuries. It is a ultimate rank quest. You need at least 500 SSS rank adventurers including skilled magician to complete that quest. Even then there will be high amount of casualties. It is a special quest that is issued by Kingdom. Do you understand this Mr. Den..ha..ha...ha”

“Ye-Yes”

“It’s okay if you understand. So which quest will you do now?”

“Yes!, We will take that Dragon elimination quest.”

“but Mr Den..”

“I am going to take that request. You have no right to stop me.”

“we-well about that..”

“Well then we are taking that request.”

“Master…”

Aria gave me a worried look.

“Don’t worry. It will be alright. Aria.”

I showed her my hand and she grabs it.

“Let’s go kill a dragon”
