《Ley World-The Game》Chapter 19

In a dark room stood 6 men. All six had plain silver masks covering their face. The only important part of the masks was their voice changer.
The six men looked onto a green hologram floating in-front of them.
The hologram portrayed the image of Jayson.
"Has he been sent out to capture Jayson?" - Unknown 1
"Yes. By now Jayson must have gone deep enough into the cave to get injured. Due to those injuries even a man as weak as him can capture him. I mean come-on, he has less than 1,000 strength. He could stab me with his sword and it would feel like a pinprick. I can kill him with a simple breathe. Damn peasant he is." - Unknown 2
"Calm down. It doesn't matter how weak or strong he is, we just need to capture him. The reward obviously outranks the cost. The man cost 100 credits to hire while we will get 100,000 from capturing him. It's not my issue about why that man is wanted, as long as I get a reward I'll do anything." - Unknown 3
"Blah, blah, credits this, credits that. All you care about is money, There must be some reason why someone would pay so handsomely for this man, and I intend to figure that out before we hand him over." - Unknown 4
"He might become a slave for all we know. Or he may get turned into a killing machine who only knows how to follow orders. It is our duty to capture him so that is what we will do." - Unknown 5
"Sigh. You guys are still as mentally ill as always. We have the proud dimwit, the greedy whale, the scheming backstabber, and the 'oracle' who wants to know everything. Seems like 1 is the only normal person here."

"Shut up 6! You have no right to offend me while your rank is lower than mine. You're the weakest one here!" - Unknown 2
"Now, am I really the weakest here, or are my followers the weakest? I think you forgot that I managed to fight all of you, except for 1, at the same time and still won. The only reason I am number 6 is because I have a lesser amount of little minions, as you would put it." - unknown 6
"Now, now. Don't start a fight now. You remember what happened to the last two who tried to pick a fight." - Unknown 1
Everyone gulped at 1's words. They remembered clearly what happened. The Ex 3 and Ex 5 has started fighting inside the room, when suddenly their bodies evaporated. All that was left were two small needles with a 1 inscribed onto them. One of those needles was strong enough to kill some of the strongest men in the galaxy within seconds.
"Yes leader. We won't fight." - Unknown 2-6
These six men were all in the top 25 of the most influential men in the galaxy, with 1 in the Top 3. While he very rarely showed his true powers, it was said that during the War of the Greats he managed to destroy a large gas planet with a single punch.
Other rumors stated that he absorbed a sun and used it's energy to rip a solar system apart.
And even rumors have some truth to them.
"But still, whoever Jayson, or Relfem, is, he is heavily wanted, for one reason or another. Either he will gain immense amounts of power, or he will be turned into a mindless slave. Either one will hurt us if he is used against us." - Unknown 4

"That doesn't matter. We are getting enough money to fund a small portion of a battleship, and that will make up for one singular man." - Unknown 1
"Dismissed." - Unknown 1
They all parted and left through different doors. Each of them knew who the others were, but the masks and voice changers were for extra security. it wouldn't be the first time that someone infiltrated into their facility.
1 got back onto his speeder, a slender, fast ship capable of traveling 1/100th the speed of light without using the hyperdrive. Sighing, he took off the mask. Underneath it was a middle-aged face showing signs of age. Wise blue eyes, thick brown eyebrows, a thin nose and thin mouth, along with a sharp jawline. His head was bald and instead he had runes covering parts of his scalp.
"I may be getting too old to handle those buffoons. I would make one of them the next 1, but none are smart enough. They would destroy the order within days. Hopefully a promising person appears." - Unknown 1's Thoughts

Part 2 - Mortal Mewling: Perry's been living his dream in the guard, fighting spike feeders, proving himself to be a valuable member of the community, but his many concerns linger, weighing him down with more questions and regrets. The strange event within the dungeon. The rise of the prey-movement. The critical mass of spike feeders looming around the corner. Things have been going wrong for Titan City, and it feels like they're only going to get worse. Can he help save what he's worked for or will it all fall to ruin? Part 1 - Killing Roar: When Perry was blessed with a platypus beast soul, he thought his chances of joining the village guard were over. No one had every heard of a platypus. It seemed like an obvious prey soul, given it wasn't in the village's records. Only the strongest could be part of the village guard. He thought that would never get the chance to defend the village from the spike feeders, the deadly creatures jutting out with hazardous spikes haphazardly all over. Only predator beast souls were given the requisite training and allowed to join the village guard. Perry just didn't meet their criteria. He was also wrong.Soon Perry will live out his wildest dreams and more, as he scales the rankings of beast soul mastery, fights innumerable dangerous spike feeders and solves mysteries related to the origin of beast souls and spike feeders. And maybe, just maybe, he'll even get to join the city guard. Genre-wise, Mortal Mewling is a GameLit story (light on the GameLit) focused on action and adventure. The Gore tag is there more as a precaution, rather than a promise to keep producing gory words. Mortal Mewling is a bit of a slow burn in terms of start, scale and capacity of the protagonist. Book 2... has now begun! Updates Monday and Thursday

[Archive] Legend of the Nameless Hero
A WhiteSamurai original Web Novel There are always the mysterious tales of heroes, those who fight against the Demons, who fight for justice and those who head mighty quests against tyranny. Heroes that are born to destiny, Heroes that are forged through tragedy, and Heroes that are brought to the world in times of great peril and strife. Not all true Heroes are wanted or beloved, but all life understands, that throughout all time and space, for those who truly stand as Heroes, they never need to be called one. The sands of time are the only true judge for those who journey upon the true path, the only one they will ever need. This is the tale, no, the Legend, the Legend of the one who throughout all time, would forever be, the First Hero. This is Their story, a story of true hardship, of a sorrow greater than any other that would stand as a symbol of inspiration no matter the test of time. A tale of darkness, a true curse, an impending evil hidden beyond the horizons that threatened the very future of existence. This is the tale, of one of the few great figures, who, in the face of true evil, continued to stand. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Disclaimer: _______________________________________________________________ . . . All Chapters are subject to sudden revision, scrapping, or complete removal from the canonical storyline. The author of "Legend of the Nameless Hero" uses RoyalRoad as a method of experimentation with genre's and writing styles for Fantasy-style works for the sake of eventual publication. The end result isn't to release perfect chapters on RoyalRoadl, but eventually develop the story as intended using the best material to produce the highest quality work. The best mentality when reading works from WhiteSamurai is to see it as the ability to read and review pre-release transcripts or "Rough Copies" before publication. Viewer discretion and maturity are both requested and required. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :About: _______________________________________________________________ . . . This story follows direct character point of views along with an intentional third person narrative to explain to the readers what the characters won't. (I don't use my characters to go give extensive explanations for every last thing like EVERYTHING DOES) This tale shall encompass the life of the Hero from the moment she is summoned into the Kingdom of Kremor, to the Legendary Final Clash. This isn't your run of the mill hack and slash raise an army and conquer, I don't follow that bandwagon. Real life holds politics, intrigue, economics, structure, populations, civil opinions, history, psychology, heart, suffering, wonder, advancement, curiosity, ambition, and so many more things that would lead to me hitting some character limit. I refuse to take the same route that others use by simply ignoring these factors, my worlds, my stories, are as real as they get. There's no plot armor here, if someone screws up, they've screwed up and there's no magical sword in a well for them. I write in 'Seasons' not 'Books' as many often do, these are generally, not always, hundreds of chapters long, though as I have yet to finish a season, the average length is in the air. I go by an ideal of what I call 'Universal Lore' which includes the policy that things that exist within the story don't follow the rule where the Protagonist needs to be there so that it will happen. There will be some things that will happen, and the hero, and sometimes the reader, won't know happened until they enter a place, or news gets to them. A person needs to be in the right place at the right time, I hate plot holes and meta characters above all else... For my works, comments are practically demanded as reactions, thoughts, and various viewpoints are like sweet fuel to my writing spirit. Reviews are highly accepted and appreciated, BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE EDUCATED AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED. Those that throw down a low rating ARE HIGHLY REQUESTED to extensively detail and explain their viewpoints on the work. They should also be willing to come back to the work at a later date if messaged by the Author, Me, due to issues they mentioned being taken care of. I'm never against scrapping a chapter or rewriting several paragraphs if there are character or story discrepancies. I want the highest quality work possible, and every comment, every review, are tools for me to use to further that goal. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Status: (Ongoing)
