Chapter 11 – Rare Metal
oOo
“Ahhhh, I somehow feel satisfied but not full.” *I think having [Gluttony] was a cursed, I can’t even feel full from eating so much meat. I want to feel full and sleep. .sigh*
Anyway, I was glad to even gain another level after eating the copse thanks to Bottom Feeder, and I also got a new metal.
|Rock Armor will evolve to Xoprium Armor – from absorbing a new type of metal the skill evolved – Xoprium a very rare kind of metal that can only be found at the 85th floor and below of the dungeon called The Labyrinth of Haford. It’s a very tough metal that’s more powerful than adamantium. It has a very unique characteristic to repel liquid, and it’s also a good conductor.| *AN: xoprium – randomly generated metal name*
“So that’s why my Sharp Teeth gained two more levels. Damn!! It’s so fucking hard, but it’s not hard to me anymore.” *I wonder how many floors are there in this dungeon, and Haford must be the one to create it. Was he a dungeon master, or something else?*
After my armor completely change to the new metal. I tried to walk and for the first step.
*Dum*
It was so heavy; it was even hard to lift a foot. *damn* But I think this would be a great exercise to increase my strength, because I had nothing to do right now, I keep on walking even though it was very slow, like a turtle. *the forest was still burning but I don’t care, the fire was not even spreading that much.*
It was almost an hour I think, and I gained some Attributes points to my strength and vitality. I can now also walk a bit faster from before. I always encounter some Draco Ground Snake which is like free food to me; all I need were to shoot some spikes from my armor and poof, a snack with experience points. Even though I killed so many monsters, I didn’t gain a single level.

*sigh, I need to find stronger monster*
Another hour of walking, I was now at the old tomb which was the entrance to the next floor. I decided to move to another direction which I’ve never been before, the tomb was facing to the direction where I first came from, if I made it like a compass, the south was the end of the dungeon wall, north is where the swamp maybe, so this time I’m going to. . hmmm . . . north west maybe, and then if I reach the dungeon wall again, I’ll head east.
“Okay let’s do this! ! ! !”
Moving to the North West, my attributes was slowly increasing this time, even the agility attribute was gaining points. I also use magic, so that my intelligence and dexterity will also increase. My luck attribute was so disappointing, it never increase any points, except when I only evolve, and its only 1 luck point per evolution. *sigh*
The demonic wolves were so stupid, they keep on biting me and the result was always the same, they all end up dead. *I think they’re mad and stupid* I also encountered a bear, but it was different from the black bear with needles, this bear was smaller, and the fur was a different kind of metal. *it was like iron or something similar I think* I ate the metallic fur but no notifications pop out. I was getting a hang of my new armor, so I made it even bigger to weigh more. *I’m like a body builder, damn! *
|Leveled up one time|
*huh? Why did I suddenly . . ahh it must be from the traps that I made, I cannot eat the monster anyway because even if I find the copse it would had been decayed. But anyway thanks for the experience*
I forgot about making trap, so I continued to make more as much as possible. I’ve grown so much just from training my body and skills. I’m quite happy for my stats now.

Let’s train some more, and grind skills. I hope to encounter more monsters here. Another two more levels and it would be another evolution. Better keep on killing more monsters. Maybe if I made a roar or something, monsters will come to me. Hmmmm let’s try that one.

They didn't move for a thousand years... "Admiral Grant," the King suddenly shouted. The soldier's head snapped up in surprise. "Yes, Your Majesty?" "Wake the Giant." The rust peeled off like dead skin, falling into the ocean and revealing the shining metal body beneath. The ground shook as the gears began to turn, their grinding heard for miles. Story based in the same universe as my other story, Gamer's Guide to Waking up as a Dinosaur.

On his extensive quest owing-to and for love, he discovers aplenty—the unkind darkness dancing amok under heaven, puppeteering cut-throat characters with undreamed-of abilities to act against the wellbeing of the wanting ones. How will Lirzod find his place let alone love in a realm largely ruled by reprobates and scallywags of sundry sorts? And what ensues from his endeavors? Hold your breath, and bear witness to his boundless undertakings. "When I flap my wings, my foes lose their feathers." — Lirzod Basha. ——————————————— A Kind Note: “The story is lengthy, so go easy on ‘hold your breath’ thing, okay?”
8 106Blind Wastelands
[Royal Writathon April 2022 winner] (Support me on Patreon ) They say it was a war that blocked out the sun. They say it was poison bombs that reduced the land to rubble. The blind wastelands were what it was called now. Where there were once sprawling cities, farmlands, and crops that grew in the sun, sparkling waters that shone like diamonds, there was now darkness; a cloying, viscous darkness that filled men’s hearts with dread and sunk their bellies like stone. What remained of humanity scattered away from the darkness as much as they could, banding together in settlements lit with gas lamps and bonfires. A young man named Yunkef leaves his home at Settlement 41 to join a Scavenger team to bring back much-needed resources for his Settlement but finds there are much worse things in the darkness than just the beasts. He meets Lady Black.

8 83RE:Hero
Many lifetimes ago, Roy had been offered a choice after his passing: to make a deal with a Goddess where he would help her save countless worlds from certain doom in exchange for immortality. Fearing death and the unknown that lay beyond, he took the opportunity to be sent into realms of fantasy, sometimes succeeding in his mission, other times failing, trapped in a cycle of starting from the beginning over and over again. Each reincarnation left him a little more broken, and eventually, he found himself sent to worlds where there was no great evil to fight. No doomsday looming on the horizon. Yet he still prepared himself for the worst each and every time, until he finally broke and gave up, only to find the Goddess did not allow slacking in the sacred duty he had been tasked with. Now, he seeks to free himself from his bonds. How many more worlds will he need to traverse to find the power to end the cycle?
