《Little Rebel》Chapter 7

"Trevor, this is my sister Jordyn. Sam, I'm sure you remember her." Kian introduced me.
"Hiiiii!" Trevor sang, alot higher than I could.
"Uh, hi?" I said.
"Hey Jordyn." Sam smirked at me.
"Hi Sam," I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms, sitting back in my seat.
"So should we get our food?" Jc asked.
"Yeah, I'm so hungry." Ricky said.
We all got up and ordered our food. The guys paid for themselves and Kian paid for him and I. I tried to pay for myself, but he refused to let me pay.
Apparently Trevor and Sam ae going to spend the night. I guess they do that alot.
As soon as we got home from Taco Bell, I went up to my room. I put on my batman onesie, put my hair in a messy bun, took off my makeup, took out my contacts, put my glasses on and pulled out my laptop. I texted Perrie to get on Sype.
As soon as I saw she was online, I pressed call. She answered right away.
"JORD!!!" She screamed.
"PEZ!" I mocked her.
"OMG, I've missed you so much. You have no idea how boring San Clemente is without you." Perrie said.
"No, I do have an idea. Except it's stupid Los Angeles without you." I sighed. "And my brother and his friends are the only people I know."
"Poor Jordyn." She pouted.
I rolled my eyes.
"Hey, how's All Of Me coming along?" She asked me.
"Uh, pretty good I guess. I haven't had time to practise since before I left." I shrugged
"Well then practise now." Perrie insisted.
I sighed and got up, grabbing my guitar from it's stand that I set up when I first got here. I got out the music.

"You sing." I told her.
I started strumming the cords for the first verse and Perrie sang along. She is an amazing singer and I can't sing to save my life. Perrie says i'm a good singer, but I don't believe her. She's just trying to be nice.
"Ugh!" I screamed when I got it wrong for the third time in a row.
"Jordyn, calm down. You'll get it eventually." Perrie soothed me.
"Yeah, right. Whatever." I groaned into a pillow
Kian's POV:
Right when we got home, Jordyn went straight up to her room. The guys all looked at me, but I ignored them and got an AriZona and turned on Mario Cart.
We had just started, when we heard someone scream "JORD!" from upstairs. Not even a minute later, someone scream "PEZ!" from upstairs also.
We all looked at each other paused the game. We quietly went upstairs and to Jordyn's room.
"How's All Of Me coming along?" I heard someone ask. I've never heard that person before.
"Uh, pretty good I guess. I haven't had time to practice since before I left." I knew that that was Jordyn.
"That's the most i've ever heard he talk." Ricky whispered.
Everyone nodded in agreement then went back to eves-dropping.
"Well then practice now." The other person said.
I heard Jordyn sigh then we heard shuffling.
"You sing." Jordyn told the other person.
We heard someone strumming the guitar to the tune of All Of Men by John Legend.
The other person started singing.
Jordyn kept messing up this certain part in the second verse.
"Ugh!" She screamed, making us jump.
"Jordyn, calm down. You'll get it eventually." The other person soothed Jordyn.
"Yeah, right. Whatever." She groaned, sounding muffled.

I turned to the others. Trevor, Connor, and Ricky were staring at me, open mouthed.
Sam and Jc were messing with each other though. Suddenly, Jc pushed Sam a little to hard and Sam fell, making a loud thump.
"What was that?" The other person asked Jordyn.
"I'm not sure but I have an idea." Jordyn said, sounding mad. She stomped over to the door and two seconds later it flew open.
There stood Jordyn, makeup-less, glasses-clad, hair put up carelessly and in...a batman onesie?
"Oh, hey there." I said, waving.
I looked in her room to see her laptop sitting on her bed with a girl with blue hair on it. I'm guessing she was Skyping her friend. Next to the laptop was a purple and black guitar .
She stood next to us, arms crossed and glaring.
"Hello," I waved nervously to her.
"Hi!" Sam called to her friend.
Jordyn glanced behind her and her eyes widened.
"Pez, I'm going to have to call you back." She said, walking to the computer.
"No!" 'Pez' shouted.
"What?" Jordyn groaned, rolling her eyes.
"I want to watch." She said sarcastically, putting her face in her hands.
"No Perrie." Jordyn said.
"Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-" She paused to take a breath then started again. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-"
Jordan interrupted her. "Fine, but shut up!"
"Se." Perrie finished cheekily.
Jordyn stuck her middle up to her then turned back to us.
"So," Jordyn said dangerously slow. "Wanna tell me what you were doing spying on me, again?"
"Wait, again?" Perrie piped up.
Jordyn turned towards her and she immediately shut up.
"Well, we heard screaming. So we came up here. Then we heard singing. So we stayed up here." I explained.
"Yup, pretty much." The guys said.
She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Count to ten, Jord." Perrie called from the computer.
"Yup, just trying to figure out what comes after 7." Jordyn said between gritted teeth.
"It's 8 babe." Perrie told her, as if it where a normal thing to forget that 8 came after 7.
Then again, Jordyn is a strange child. It doesn't really surprise me that much that Perrie had to remind her.
"I'm just going to let this go. But just this one time. If I catch you eves-dropping on me again, the consequences will be gruesome." She said, then closed her door.
I looked at the guys and they had horrified looks on their faces. But we heard Perrie and Jordyn's laughter through the door.
"Lets just go play Mario Cart." Ricky said, slowly and unsure.
"Yeah, I agree with Ricky." Connor said.
We then went back downstairs without another look behind us.

Your education would be different each time, your growing environment would be different, your personality might change. So what is the purpose of the soul ? Mortals never got an answer for this question. Finding an exact definition didn’t matter for them, what they knew was that a soul allowed reincarnation. Even if they lost some memories, getting glimpses of their past lives was more than enough. Getting the possibility of a new life, a better life was what they thrived for. This became an even greater truth as progenitors, the first of their cycle, became scarce. As they represent a new cycle, they embody new opportunities: some progenitors have made kingdoms, others have been their doom. So when four of them appeared at the same place, at the same time, how can it not be perceived as a sign ? A sign that things were about to change…

However, if you guys think that it needs more dialogue, I'll be happy to input that. Although I say that, the following chapters that I'll be uploading will be more or less straight to the point to give a faster feeling for the plot. Don't worry though, I'm not going to abandon writing the intricate details, especially the ones that you guys need to know in order to have knowledge of the world that they're in, and the lore that I'm weaving.
