Kian's POV:
(Before they picked up Jordyn from the airport)
"Hey Kian, aren't you supposed to pick up your sister from the airport?" Connor asked, waking me up.
"What? Oh shit!" I jumped out of my bed and pulled on random pants and grabbed a t-shirt from my closet.
I stuffed my feet in my Vans and ran downstairs, grabbing the car keys and my wallet. Rushing to the car, I was surprised to see Ricky, Connor, and Jc already in the car.
"What the fuck are you doing?" I asked.
"Coming with you to get your sister." Ricky said, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
I rolled my eyes and got in the drivers seat, putting the key in the ignition. I started driving and Ricky, being in the passengers seat, turned on the radio. Anaconda by Nicki Minaj came on and we all screamed along.
Once we got to the airport, I realized I had no idea how to find Jordyn. I decided to just walk around until I saw her.
We were wandering around the airport, but I couldn't see anyone I recognized.
"Where is she?" Jc asked, as we walked by Starbucks.
"I don't know where she is," I said, annoyed.
"Well she is your sister." Connor said.
"Yeah, but I haven't even seen her since I moved, I don't even know what she looks like." I sighed. "I'm just going to call her."
I pressed on her contact, which I don't remember the last time I used, and called her.
Someone's phone started blasting some song I've never heard before, and I turned to see a young girl digging through her backpack for her phone.
She looked at me and my eyes widened.
"Jordyn?" I asked, surprised
"Hi Kian." She said, sounding pissed off.
We went over to her and I stared at her, surprised at what she looked like. Jordyn was standing there, shifting her weight from foot to foot as we all looked at her.

"Oh, Jordyn, these are my friends slash roommates, Jc, Connor, and Ricky." I said, snapping out of my daze.
"Hey girl." Ricky said, snapping his fingers. I rolled my eyes as his sassiness.
"Hi, my name is Connor and I like cats and coffee. I spend all my time on the internet and tumblr is my favorite thing in the world." Connor said really fast in his usual greeting.
"Sup." Jc said.
"Um, hi." Jordyn said, awkwardly. Bouncing on her feet.
"So, should we get going?" Ricky suggested, thankfully, after an awkward silence.
"Yeah, c'mon Jordyn." I said, picking up one of her suitcases.
The other guys picked up her other luggage and we headed to the car. I looked back to see Jordyn following us slowly with a black backpack and a guitar case. I didn't know she plays guitar.
We put all Jordyn's luggage in the back then I got in the drivers seat. Ricky sat in the passengers seat again and Jc, Connor, and Jordyn got in the back.
I started driving and Jordyn immediately put her earbuds in and turned on her music. It was so loud that I could hear it.
Jordyn made eye contact with me in the rear view mirror before she turned to look out the window.
We got back to the house and they guys and I carried her suitcases in.
"So, I'll show you you're room," I told her.
She nodded and the two of us grabbed her luggage from the other boys. Jordyn followed me upstairs.
"That's Connor's room, and there's mine. The bathroom, and then Ricky's. Jc's is across from mine, and yours is next to Jc's. Across from Ricky's room." I told her, pointing out rooms as we went.
She just nodded and I opened the door that led to her room.
"We thought that you would want to do what you wanted to your room, so we left it plain for you." I said, rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly.

"Thanks," Jordyn said.
"I'll leave you to unpack." I told her. Leaving the room and closing the door behind me.
I went back downstairs and sat on the couch where Ricky and Jc were playing Mario Cart and Connor was on his laptop.
I slouched down and sighed, putting my hand over my face.
"You ok?" Connor asked.
"I don't know. I feel like she hates me." I said.
Ricky paused the game, despite Jc's whining, and sat up.
"When was the last time you even talked to her and had a real conversation?" He asked.
"Well...I mean...it's been...I have no idea." I confessed.
"See, you just need to have a brother sister day or something Get to know each other and hang out." Connor said.
"That's a really good idea." I smiled.
Just then, Jordyn came downstairs with her headphones in and a skateboard in one hand. She went out to the back and we all looked at each other.
We silently followed her and stood in the doorway of the back door. Jordyn did something on her phone then put it in her back pocket. She put her skateboard down and jumped on it. She started doing all these cool tricks on it.
"Wow." Jc mouthed to me.
"I know right." I mouthed back.
We stood there watching her for a while. Man, that girl can definitely go for a while. Jordyn has like, unlimited energy.
Suddenly, Jordyn turned around and saw us staring at her. Her eyes widened and she ripped her earbuds out of her ears.
Before she could say anything, Ricky did. "You're really good."
Jordyn blushed a tiny bit. "Oh, thanks." She muttered.
We all stood there in an awkward silence.
"Do you guys want to go to dinner?" Ricky asked. "We could go to Taco Bell or Panera or something."
We all mumbled our agreements, except for Jordyn, who just nodded.
"So where should we go?" Connor asked?
"Taco Bell." Jc said.
"Panera." Ricky said.
"Taco Bell." I said, Jc giving me a high five as Ricky rolled his eyes.
"Where ever." Connor shrugged.
"Where do you want to go?" Jc asked Jordyn.
She shrugged her shoulders, shifting her weight from foot to foot.
"Do you want Taco Bell?" I asked her.
She shrugged again, then nodded microscopically.
"Ok then." I clapped my hands together. "Taco Bell it is. Sorry Rickers."
He shrugged.
"Lets pennyboard there." Jc said.
I looked at Jordyn who smirked at the word 'pennyboard'.
"Ok," I said.
"Connor and I will drive." Ricky said.
"Ok." Jc ran inside to get Rasta.
"Do you want to ride with Connor and Ricky or do you want to ride with Jc and I?" I asked Jordyn.
"I'll ride." She said, lifting up he skateboard.
"Alright. OH!" I screamed. "I'll invite Sam and Trevor."
I ran inside and texted Trevor and Sam to meet us at Taco Bell then grabbed Ghost.
"Ready?" Jc asked us once we all meet downstairs.
"Yup, see yeah there." I told Connor and Ricky who waved and left.
Jordyn, Jc, and I went outside. I locked the door behind me and we took off. I was surprised to see how good Jordyn was at skateboarding.
I mean, I obviously knew she could do tricks and stuff because I saw her, but I didn't know she could go down hills and stuff, especially as fast as she did.
We got to Taco Bell and Sam and Trevor were already there with Ricky and Connor. With our boards in hand, we sat at the table with them.

Each Episode will consist of a sixty second teaser, followed by three to five chapters of about ten minutes reading time apiece. 8 194The Rite of Sanctuary
Dozens, if not hundreds of worlds were destroyed or damaged by what amounted to a industrial accident on a higher level of existence. Many people and places however, were saved at the last instant and hastily slammed together into a makeshift world held together with magic and hope. The director was assigned to keep the whole thing going and stole the idea of a RPG driven system as a placeholder set of natural laws. One he is constantly having to apply ad hoc fixes and updates on the fly. The main character and the church he worked at end up being one of the places from modern earth that got saved. Possibly updating Saturday and Sunday if my schedule stays the same
