Author note: I'm going for surgery next week and as such chapters may end up not being posted as regularly as they are now. So if you notice chapters not being posted for a week or two that's why. I'm hoping while on bed rest after the surgery ill be able to pump out chapters but I'm not sure depending on how good or bad I'm feeling I may or may not get anything written.
Bakugou was the first to move as he darted for her. For his large bulky size he was indeed faster than a person would expect. But this was nothing new for her. He had always been fast, but Miruko was fast too and she learned quickly to be just as fast herself. It came down to knowing she couldn't out muscle him. That's where she needed to be careful. But so far he was as predictable as he was in high school. He swung with a right hook but it was the left one that was the real concern. Dodging the right is easy enough and she knew the left one was coming as she stepped to the side grabbing his wrist and arm before pushing him past her forcing him to continue forwards. He seemed surprised that she had been able to dodge both of his attacks.
Of course Bakugou growled unhappy as he continued to strike out at her to which she easily dodged. Sure for his size Bakugou was quick on his feet. But she was quicker. It was Bakugou who was the one surprised. Sakaki had grown much faster than she had been in high school. She rarely lasted more than a minute or two but now Bakugou couldn't get his hands on the woman. She may have been on the offensive and had yet to get a strike in. Still she was willingly playing offensive, letting him get even more angry every time he couldn't grab or hit her.
It was her strategy, she was smart she knew eventually his anger would get the best of him and he would eventually get sloppy giving her an opening she could actually use against such a strong and fast opponent. The biggest issue with that plan was who had more stamina? Would Sakaki's stamina last as long as Bakugou's control over his temper? In the past her plan would have gone off without a hitch. But it quickly became apparent that Bakugou had matured enough to not let a battle rile him up.
"Oh look at you not yelling die at me every time you throw a punch," she was trying to mock him and get him upset more quickly. Though it didn't work as well as she would have liked.
"That's big coming from someone who's only running away," he sneered at her as the two continued their little dance of Bakugou striking out at her and her dodging and trying to keep out of his reach. Though she could already feel her arms bruising in a few spots. Which made sense when she could see the same bruising forming on Bakugou's arms. Geez though when his arms collided with hers to be blocked it felt more like someone was beating her arms with a baseball bat. It's why she was now trying to stay out of his reach for attacks outside of a punch or kick.
She had been trying to rile him up but instead she was the one finding herself growing more irritated. Damn it! It was supposed to be the other way around with her pissing him off not him pissing her off. She could even feel an eye twitch as she was forced to dodge and avoid him while Bakugou was more than happy to smirk and remind her of how useless she was being. Which in turn only did the job to rile her up more. It didn't help she could feel her muscles starting to complain, her body screamed for more oxygen then she was currently able to gasp in.

Her new strategy was to try and aim for weak and vital points. After all sure Bakugou was covered in muscle but he did not have the ability to harden like Kirishima meaning her blows would still hurt. Though that was easier said than done as she barely dodged his outstretched hand trying to grab her as she danced around the side of him before driving her elbow as hard as she could under his last rib.
She could hear him grunt with pain but that didn't stop him from turning on a dime. Hand grabbing her, in a last ditch effort to get free she hooked her foot around the back of his knee and pulling hard was able to off balance him. Though his hold never broke, which forced the two to topple over together. Not wanting to fall back on her, Bakugou had pulled back enough so that it was his back that had hit the ground. She was quick to straddle him trying in a sad attempt to keep him pinned as her legs tried to keep his thighs pinned and her hands grappled with his to see who could grab the others wrists. But it didn't matter her smaller form and the slight distraction of fighting for his wrists had her finding herself quickly pinned beneath him.
His hands held hers. His hips pinned her left leg and thigh. She was stuck there was no way she was strong enough to force him off of her. He had won and the smug and arrogant smirk on his face told her that he knew he had won. Which in turn had her pulling her top lip up to growl at him.
"Admit defeat," the blonde said, his smirk only growing wider as he felt the body beneath his squirm.
"Never," she growled back trying to find a way to offset him and get them both rolling and moving. But he wouldn't budge. His body kept hers pinned. She couldn't even bring her legs up to try and flip him over. She was a sweating, panting mess as she glared up at him.
"Bakugou won," Kirishima called out as he approached the two. It almost felt wrong to be watching the two as Bakugou had Sakaki pinned under his body. Though at the sound of his approaching Bakugou let go and jumped back as if the woman under him had just tried to stab him. Though in reality it was the fact Bakugou had forgotten Kirishima was even there and watching.
More slowly Sakaki sat up, wiping some of the sweat off of her forehead. She was completely unhappy and pouting as she sat there trying to keep the sweat from rolling into her eyes from her forehead. Kirishima would have laughed at the sight of the woman pouting but the scent that wafted off of her arm as mouth water. She may have been wearing scent blockers but with her body covered in sweat she was giving off a sweat mouth watering scent. And so Kirishima was hesitant before he walked over and offered her a hand.
"Thanks," she said simply as she took his hand and let him pull her to her feet. Of course she was greeted with that sharp tooth and wide grin.
"No problem," Kirishima said as he continued to hold her hand for a moment longer than he should have before he to let go and nearly jumped back from her just like Bakugou had when he got off of her.
"I won. So we are doing things my way," Bakugou said, smirking triumphantly at the woman. Sakaki was unhappy with the fact she lost but she no longer argued with the blonde. It clearly wouldn't do her any good after getting her ass handed to her.

For once since they started working together Sakaki submitted and allowed Bakugou to make the decision on what they would do with the mission. Which had her unhappy, allowing him to take his time meant she would have to work with the two men longer. And sure a part of her liked the idea of being around the two alpha's more her rational brain was quickly reminding her of how hard having two strong alpha's around was going to affect her. It was already putting her on edge enough as it was. She had also started doubling up on her suppressants in hope of keeping herself from suddenly going into heat while in the middle of work. But how long would that last?
She wasn't stupid, she knew the suppressants would eventually stop working as efficiently with her miss using them like this. But it was a risk she had to take. Though maybe with the time off of staking our criminals maybe she should try and take the time off and go off her suppressants all together and just get her heat over and done with? That may how be able option since the three of them needed to sit back and wait. She just needed to wait till Hatori was back home first.
But for right now Sakaki had a different issue as she stood there scowling. She was sweaty and filthy and she needed a shower. But she had no spare cloths, sure she had spare scent blocker patches but what good would those do when her entire body was covered in sweat and by the look Kirishima gave her while standing the closest to her out of the two men she could tell her sweat scent was starting to leak through her attempts to hide it.
"Where is your woman's locker room? I need to go for a shower before I head out patrolling with you two," she said looking between the two as she decided she would just shower and put her current uniform back on.
"And if I'm gonna be here a while can I get a locker? I kinda hate not having a spare uniform or clothes here," she had mostly mumbled that last part after the question to herself. But it was true she hated not having somewhere to keep spare clothes and stuff. This was a prime reason for that hate as she was not pleased with having to put her sweaty hero costume back on.
"Oh sure. I'll have it arranged for you to get a locker. Just follow me I'll lead the way," Kirishima said before turning and leading the way out of the training room. The wall was quick since they kept the locker rooms and change rooms right next door to all the training area. Made sense no one wanted to walk across an entire agency being all smelly and sweaty.
"Thanks Red," she called out before she disappeared into the woman's change room. Stripping down she jumped into one of the shower stalls more than happy to enjoy a quick wash though she wished she had her own body wash but oh well at least someone seems to be nice enough to just leave some bland stuff in all the shower stalls. She tried to be quick before she jumped out and toweled off before then struggling like no tomorrow to get back into her costume. The dang thing didn't want to move over the damp skin. It took her longer to get dressed again than it did to shower.
Once she walked out she was met with Kirishima standing across the hall with his arms crossed over his chest and he seemed lost in though till those red eyes of his looked up and noticed her coming out of the locker room. Her long hair still damp as she was pulling it up into a messy ponytail. Not like she had a hairbrush to actually be able to brush it out with.
"Hey. So you ready to head out on patrol now?" Kirishima asked beating her as he spoke first preventing her from asking him if he had been waiting for her this entire time.
"As ready as all ever be I guess," she said simply with the shrug of a shoulder. But that was good enough for Kirishima as he smiled widely, pushed off the wall and seemed pretty happy to head out.
"Well then follow me," he said as he started to lead the way out of the agency.
"Is it just you and me today?" She asked not wanting to sound rude as she waited to hear if Bakugou would join them or not.
"Bakugou took off already going to do a different route. So you're stuck with me," Kirishima said lightly, which made her laugh a little to herself.
"That's fine as long as patrol doesn't take us for ever again," she said quickly remembering how his fans love to swarm the big red idiot.
"I'm sure you will keep the fans away," Kirishima said, unable to help but tease the woman as she pulled her mask up her face, only adding to that scary look she seemed to have.
"And what's that supposed to mean?" She asked, her voice sounded so serious but the playful gleam or the way her face seemed so relaxed told him that she wasn't actually mad.
"Oh just that you're as unapproachable as Bakugou is," the redhead said with a snicker before he found her elbow digging into his side though not enough to bruise or anything but still it sent a swift jolt of pain through him for a second.
"Hey now. I take offence to that. I am nowhere near as bad as that angry pomeranian," she said, pouting softly from behind her mask.
That just had Kirishima burst out in a deep laughter as the two walked side by side down the street during the late morning and into early afternoon. During the patrol Sakaki learned that when the two alpha's were not working together to take down criminals together they often worked different patrols. Bakugou started in the morning he would do his patrol routes, then spend his afternoon doing paperwork before heading home. Where Kirishima was the other way around. He liked to get his paperwork done first and patrol the afternoon so he could just head home right after patrol. Then came the question of which patrol time she would like. To be honest Bakugou's schedule sounded best for her.
That was assuming that if she got her paperwork done on time that she would be able to leave on time. No having to worry about getting stuck dealing with some petty criminals at the very end of a shift. So as long as she got her paperwork done she would be able to leave after that. And that sounded the best. But would agreeing to it mean she would be stuck patrolling with Bakugou? If so then she would rather patrol with Kirishima even if it meant getting the short end of the shift stick.
It seemed her silence to Kirishima's question of what shift would she like, told Kirishima exactly what he was curious about. She wanted Bakugou's shift schedule but she didn't want to work with the blonde alone. Not like Kirishima could blame her. Bakugou had made her highschool years harder for her in ways. And Bakugou was a bit of an acquired taste for a coworker and friend. Though Sakaki seemed to get along with him at some moments like when they went hiking, she was just as quick to snap back at him when they were at work.
"I'll put you on Bakugou's shift. That will make the sidekicks happy if none of them have to work with him," Kirishima said before laughing at the look that she gave him. Even though he could not see the bottom of her face he could still tell she was scrunching up her nose at the wrinkles that pulled around the mask and the way her eyebrows pulled together unhappy. And yet she didn't completely burst out into a no.
"I think I'd rather work with one of the sidekicks," she whined softly which earned her a large hand planted on her shoulder. Forcing her to look up at the man walking beside her.
"Don't worry you've survived one patrol with him. And you know he's not so bad,"Kirishima said as the two walked through the rather low risk street.
"He's easier to deal with outside of work," she mumbled, not expecting Kirishima to say anything about it.
"You're both a bit different when you're not at work. Just relax when you're with him and things will be fine," Kirishima tried to reassure her that she would be fine. Though now it's her turn to go quite unsure what to say to that.
And yet Kirishima was not wrong. She was different when she was not in her hero costume. But was Bakugou the same way? Did he just put on a fake face just like she did? No, she found that hard to believe. Bakugou was always an abrasive asshole. And she couldn't believe that would change.
With that the two fell into a simple silence as they walked. Eyes glancing around watching the shadows, while Kirishima smiled and greeted fans while trying to keep things moving. Sakaki would always just stand back and watch as Kirishima would have to struggle to get away from his fans. It really did slow them down, really dragging out the time it took to do such an incredibly simple and boring job. Sakaki was really itching to try and go down a couple of the darker back alleys, missing the thrill of taking down criminals and bad guys. This fan service stuff just was not for her.
It was really becoming more and more obvious why the two men also couldn't stand patrolling together. If she hated it then she could only imagine how much Bakugou must have hated it. Sure people don't flock to Bakugou the same way that they did to Kirishima. Which made Bakugou's patrols nicer. Another perk that would come with working alongside Bakugou over Kirishima. Or at least that was what Sakaki tried to tell herself as she tried to make herself feel better about being stuck working with Bakugou rather than Kirishima.
