i heaved a deep sigh and clutched onto the bouquet of flowers i had in my grasp.
i slowly walked on the grass fields, stopping somewhere nearby a huge oak tree.
i looked down at my feet,
"hey, love."
i gently propped the bouquet of flowers on her nameplate and sat next to it.
"i'm sorry that i only visited you just now.
i was afraid.
i didn't want to accept the fact that you were...
gone."
the corner of my lips slowly curved up into a smile.
"you told me in your letter that i should move on. that i would find someone better than you in the future. someone that would stay with me forever."
"you don't know how much i wanted that to be you, hana."
"we were supposed to grow up together."
"but i guess...
we don't always get what we want."
i felt hot tears escaping the rims of my eyes.
"life is cruel."
"it's so unfair."
"and yet you always loved
living every moment of it."
"hana...
i found someone new."
"you're okay with that, right?"
"i'm going to let you go now..."
"i know you're resting well. i can't believe heaven receive one of the most precious angels here on earth."
"her name is yoon haerin. she kinda reminds me of you. she's so energetic and full of life. and yet i don't know why she's all covered up in bandages."
"i really love her hana."
"i want to meet her soon."
"she made me realize what love really is.
i want to show her how much i love her in person."
"i can do that, right hana?"
"if you were here you'd love her, too."

i smiled as i wiped my tears away, "maybe you were the one who brought haerin to me."
"you're going to let me see her, right?
you're going to help me find her."
"i miss you."
"i loved you,
thank you for letting me meet haerin."
"i'll love her like how i always loved you."
"i'll do the things we always thought of doing together as we grew up."
"that's your plan, isn't it?"
"goodbye, hana."
i pressed my hand onto the ground where her casket was buried in. i clenched it, imagining it like i had my fingers interlocked with hana's.
slowly, i let go and stood up.
i looked at her nameplate and read the words written on it.
"don't forget me."
i smiled a bit before walking away.
"i know i'll never forget you,
that's why i'm accepting it
and letting you go."

Lonely Apocalypse: Left Out By The System
Sometimes you wake up and just know your day is gonna suck. Now imagine waking from a three-year coma in an abandoned hospital, on an Earth that has recently fused with a different dimension. Yeah, it’s one of those days. The last I remember I was valiantly saving my high school crush from the path of an oncoming truck. Now I’m a skin and bones patient in recovery wearing nothing but my hospital gown. Has anyone seen my pants? Oh yeah, the world is also full of monsters, and I’m the only human left. Anyone ready for Spring break? It turns out a godlike System evacuated humanity, but decided to leave the vegetable in the bed. I can hardly blame it. From the moment my parents named me Lex Lurker, I was destined to be ignored. I could crawl into a corner and wait to get eaten by a freaking kobold but after years of being asleep I have a new appreciation for feeling alive. And for all the chaos, there are game-like rules and magical powers that could help me avoid becoming a meal, and perhaps even thrive in this hellscape. But first I’ll have to find the tenacity to survive, the courage to fight, and the strength to face some dark truths about myself. Whispered voices call me the Hope of Humanity, but it turns out I might be the villain of this story.

Rise of a Rogue Dungeon
Following the unfortunate, or fortunate birth of a Dungeon, in the world Ilyeus where Dragons claim the skies. Titans wander the world. Drakes boast their majestic pride. Wyrms sleep beneath the earth. Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Beast-kin, and many other sapient races mingle amongst each other, for good or bad. Gods descend among mortals with their Divine Vessels. The Dungeon treads unrestricted by the links other Dungeons have. Down a path never walked by any other Dungeon in the world of Ilyeus. Down, A Path of Freedom! A Path of Dominance! A Path of a Savior! A Path that would make Spirits shudder in fear! But first, it must survive, expand, evolve, and create an army that would do its bidding. This is my first time writing something like this, so if you see any grammar or spelling errors, pointing them out would be appreciated. Any constructive criticism is also appreciated! My update schedule is currently as I write them. So that means every time I finish writing a chapter, I will post it after it gets edited. I also release a chapter of A Lone Automaton's Journey To Find Its Operator infrequently as a side thing.
