"chenle..."
wait what's happening?
why is haerin going away?
"chenle..."
who in the fuck is calling me?
"yah zhong chenle!"
and with that,
my eyes shot open.
i panted and looked around.
i was met haerin's face in front of mine. she was dangerously close to me as those golden orbs of her bore into mine.
she then backed away, "you were dreaming..."
i furrow my brows, "huh?"
"i said you were dreaming!" she cackles.
i snort, "that's impossible, you can't dream in a dream."
"nothing's impossible, lele." she told me, sending me a little wink.
which honestly? made my heart melt.
"what did you dream of?" she tilts her head, asking me as she played with my fingers.
i smiled at her, "you."
she scoffs at my words, "how original."
"i'm serious!"
"okay, serious." she rolls her eyes playfully.
i deadpanned, "i met you in real life."
she stops playing with my fingers and gave me a wide stare, "what do you mean?"
"that's impossible!"
i lightly poked the tip of her nose,
"nothing's impossible, haerin."
she sneered at my choice of words, "okay, but seriously?"
i nodded again, "i'm telling you the truth!"
"besides, that's what i'm planning to so anyways."
"i'm going to find you in person, haerin."
haerin chuckled and stared playing with my fingers again. "i'd be happy if you could."
i retracted my hand from hers and gently held her chin up, "then you're going to be really happy soon once i actually meet you."
"you really think we can meet each other in person?" she looked at me, her eyes filled with hope.
"of course. i believe in fate. i'll continue believing that we would see each other someday."
"that's because we're fated with each other."
"some words you say." haerin told me.
"i promise you, haerin." i started,
"we're going to see each other."
"i want to be with you forever. not just in dreams."
"call me selfish, but i want you to be mine."
"then be mine." haerin whispered.
"I lov—
the loud sound of my alarm going off made my eyes go wide. i moved and was shocked to see that i had woken up from my dream.
"but... i didn't say i love you..."
"stupid alarm."

[Discontinued] Armus : First Draft
THIS FICTION HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED. I don't recommend reading this, since the chapters are a bit haphazard (containing new edits which don't really fit in with the latter half of the story).

Demonizing Matters
A high fantasy drama about a young woman who finds out a demon secret. This secret sparks a growing conflict between demons and humans. While trying to save her own life and dealing with the unexpected consequences of her actions, she falls in love with a hated demon. We follow the drama of Lita, alongside a cast of several other POV characters, as she discovers secrets (both open and purposefully hidden), makes well intentioned but sometimes disastrous decisions, and encounters prejudices and truths. Demons may be evil… or not. Humans may be good… or not. God is aloof… or not. Publishing every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This is my first real work! Super excited to be publishing! I don’t spend a lot of time describing gore, sex, trauma or any other type of scene that would be labeled as mature. I've labeled the story as mature in every way more because I don't quite understand the standard and don't know if I've crossed the line at all (and I'd rather be safe than get my story rejected for under labeling ;)). Mostly I hint, start the scene then interrupt/fade out, and in general let the reader know it happens but without making it too explicit. (I’d love to hear how I did on this! And if it was still entertaining/informative without being traumatizing.) This is what I prefer to read myself so that’s what I write. I’m not apologizing. ;) If I mislabeled my mature content it was by accident. And, yes, the pacing was also on purpose. Beyond that, I welcome any feedback you want to give! Enjoy the story!
