The next day, which was the day prior to the 4th of July at O'Hare International Airport, one of the two airports that was in Chicago and the other one was on the southwest side named Midway International Airport Abby, Shane, Lauren and Skye were waiting for their flight to board to Las Vegas and also with them were Gianna, Megan and Sylvia at Gate as they were gonna board an American Airlines flight to Las Vegas as it was 2:45 pm and the girls and moms would fly in the next day and come immediately to the Fern Adair Conservatory Of The Arts, which is a dance studio and that is where they were gonna rehearse.

"This season's almost coming to a end." Skye commented.

"it sure has." Lauren said.

"Hopefully, Shane will be standing on the stage with a first place victory." Sylvia stated.

"From the rate he's going with his victories, that may be likely." Abby said.

"We'll have to find out and see." Shane commented

"It's been a while since we've been to Vegas." Megan told Sylvia.

"Yeah."

"Attention, American Airlines announces the boarding of Flight 108, which is nonstop to Las Vegas, scheduled to depart at 3:08 Central Time and arrive in Las Vegas at 1:20 Pacific Time which would be 5:20 in the Central Time. If you've got business class seats, you can board first."

"That's us." Abby said.

"And we've got business class seats." Shane commented as he, Abby, Lauren, Skye, Gianna, Sylvia and Megan all got up with their boarding passes and showed them to the flight attendant, who nodded and opened the door and they walked through the jet bridge that leads to the plane, which is a Boeing 767-300 and as they boarded the plane, they turned left and were in the business class section, which had five rows. Abby, Shane, Lauren, Skye, Megan, Sylvia sat in row 3 and Gianna was sitting in row 4 in the seat behind Abby.

"Mom, which hotel are we gonna stay in when we arrive in Las Vegas?" Skye asked.

"We'll be staying in the Flamingo hotel, also when we get to Los Angeles, we'll be staying at the JW Marriott in the LA Live district and in Lake Tahoe, we'll be staying at the Marriot's Timber Lodge." Abby answered her son. "Also, we're gonna have an interim replacement for Vivi-Anne and that dancer will be with us for these last competitions."

"Now i get it."

"This is gonna be fun, first we'll be heading to Vegas, then L.A. and last but not least, Lake Tahoe." Lauren commented.

"You know it." Skye stated, like their older brother, they loved traveling as they turned to Megan. "Megan, this brings back great memories when we all traveled together to other cities."

"It sure does." Megan agreed.

"Also, Vegas has a monorail system." Sylvia said.

"Shane was telling us about that once." Skye commented.

After an announcement from the pilot, the flight attendant closed the door and then the plane backed away from the jet bridge, then it made it's way to the runway and once it got there, it began picking up speed, going faster and faster, then near the end of the runway, the plane took off and was making it's way to Las Vegas.

At 1:20 pacific time, the plane was seen landing at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, which is a city in Nevada.

"Your attention passengers, this is your captain speaking, welcome to Las Vegas, the time here is 1:20 and it's 88 degrees outside." The pilot announced as he began to maneuver the plane to the gate and once they arrived at the gate, they got off and got their bags from the baggage claim, then they got into a taxi van.

Ten minutes later, the taxi van arrived at The Flamingo, which is a hotel in Las Vegas, Abby, Shane, Lauren, Skye, Megan and Sylvia all got out of the vehicle with Shane carrying not only his own bags, but he offered to carry his sister's and mother's bags as well and Megan was in awe at his strength. They arrived at the front desk where Abby got them checked in, then she walked to Shane, Lauren, Skye, Megan and Sylvia.

"All right, we'll be on the 27th floor, Shane, you have a room and also your sisters and i will be in the room next to you if you need us and Megan and her mother will be across from us." Abby stated.

"Got it."

Abby, Shane, Lauren, Skye, Megan and Sylvia all went to the elevator and it took them to thei 27th floor, there they went into their rooms.

Shane entered his hotel room, it was 1,200 square feet with modern decor and there was a living room with a round table and four chairs, a 55 foot flatscreen tv, refrigerator, desk and two sofas. There was a bedroom that had a king sized bed, closet, another 55 foot flatscreen TV that was on a dresser, telephone and the room gave a great view of Las Vegas and the bathroom had a toilet, shower, sink, vanity and phone.

"This is cool."

Through that day, they all relaxed and later that evening, they went down to the buffet and ate before heading back to their rooms to call it a night.
