Brooke’s POV:
I walk down the stairs and off the bus. I sigh a breath of relief as I notice that my father's car wasn't there. As I open the front door I run upstairs as fast as I could, trying to find a new place to hide. I open up my closet door and shove all my books and backpack in there. I close the door and run up to the attic as I hear my father's car pull into the driveway and the door open. Right as I was closing the attic door I hear my father, "Brooke! Come down here right now!" He said through his slurred speech. I stayed right where i was. I couldn't utter a word or take a breath because I didn't want him to find me. I hear him come up the stairs and begin knocking on all the doors and walls trying to find me. This happens every. Single. Day.

In return for this, he is to write feedback reports on the game controlled by the godlike AI who has complete control. What nobody could forsee however, was the demise of the next hundred people qued for testing the game. The game launch is therfore posponed for a long time. This leaves Adrian in a world where the AI accedentally sets the time to 100 000 : 1 meaning Adrian is stranded in this world for age after age. When time finally returns to normal, and the game world resets, he is not the same as he once was. In the time before the reset, Adrian is known as the Eternal Blood-Sage the immortal expert who has experienced everything from the world began. Now after having experienced and learned everything beneath the heavens, he must face his greatest hurdle yet, other people entering the world.
