Y/N POV:
I wave my hands in excitement as I am handed the list of songs that I'll choose from at Busters new show. I look up at my best friend Johnny. He and I became best friends at the start of the show that set moon theatre on the map. Johnny smiles down at me and my excitement, and we both watch as Buster comes towards us.
-Johnny, Y/N, you're singing a duet, Buster says and hands Johnny the paper.
-Ooohh! I say and lean on Johnnys arm as he reads the paper.
-And people remember, this show has a story, as if Romeo and Juliet met Moulin Rouge, it's love, passion and happiness all mingled and then!.... It ends in this horrific sadness! Buster says dramatically.
-Wow Buster, way to kill the mood, I say, making everyone chuckle.
-Exactly Y/N! We're killing the mood right at the ends of this show, now! You're telling this story with music, don't forget that it's two songs for each of you, so practice practice practice! Buster says and everyone nods and agrees. I take the paper from Johnnys hands.
-Oooohhhhh, these songs are great, I say. Everyone starts heading towards the practice rooms and me and Johnny follow.
-Ooo what about this one? I say as we head into a small room and I sit down by the piano.
-Which one? Johnny asks. I strike some notes on the piano.
(I was made for loving you, Tori Kelly and Ed Sheeran on Spotify)
-A dangerous plan, just this time. A strangers hand, clutched in mine, I look up at Johnny to see his approval. He sits down beside me and plays a little bit. He skips to the chorus and sing the lyrics.
-I was made for loving you, he plays the chords.
-Even though we made be hopeless hearts just passing through, I add blushing.
-Every bone screaming; I don't know what we should do, I continue.
-All I know is darling, I was made for loving you, he stops playing.
-Yeah that should work, he says. I smile largely and squeal.
-I'm so excited, I say. I had the biggest crush on this boy. He's too sweet for this world, too sweet to me.
-So we got this one, one more, he says and looks at the paper.
-Oh my god! He says and grabs the paper.
-What? I ask confused.
-I haven't heard this song in years, he says and points to the list. I look at it.
-Hmmmm I've never heard that one before, I say.
-Ok hold on let me show you, he says and grabs his phone, searching up the song. He plays and hums the melody softly, humming a little off sometimes but I dig to the melody.
-It has all of these cool complimenting Melodies and- he looks at me and my eyes are sparkling. He turns pink.
-Sorry I'm rambling, he says sheepishly and scratches his neck.
-No it's fine! You always let me ramble it's only fair that I let you do the same, I say. He grins gratefully at me.
-Ok so show me the song now! I usher him and he laughs and grabs his phone, playing the song for me.
Three days later:
Me and Johnny have been working hard to get the lyrics and melodies to stick. I clap my hands excitedly as we stick the first song.
-That was good! Johnny says.
-It was, I agree.
-Hey, guys I heard you from outside, Buster comes inside.
-You did? I ask confused.
-U-huh. Now the melody is there but what about dynamics? Buster asks.
-w-well we're gonna start working on that now, I stammer.
-Alright! Because you know we don't have much time till opening show! Buster says. I feel a heavy pressure on my shoulders. Not literally but ya know what I mean.
-Don't worry Y/N, we have time don't worry, Johnny says.
-I know but... the way he said it I- I huff.
-Now I'm stressed, I say.
-Hey hey hey, don't worry we got this! Johnny spins me around and makes me look into his eyes. I feel my body tense up.
-Now I won't let you go into that stressed headspace that you can't get out of. I'll help you, we'll work overtime at my place if need be. Now c'mon let's do it one more time, take notes, Johnny says jokingly and sits down at the piano again. God, this man. He really knew exactly what to do and say to calm me down.
Three weeks later:
-Johnny? I search for him. I was wearing my stage costume and a big hoodie on top.
-Johnny where are you? I ask as I turn a corner. I was stressed and anxious. The costume is itchy and I feel so out of place, all I wanted is to be with Johnny and he was nowhere to be found.
-Johnny!? I yell.
-Yeah? I hear quietly from afar. I walk in the direction and see Johnny sitting in the synth room. I open the door and he looks expectantly at me. I just sit down on a chair, pretty wonky though, pointed towards Johnny.
-What's up? He asks. I tear falls and I sniff.
-Everything, I breathe. He looks worried at me.
-Everything... about the show? He asks. I nod hurriedly and dry the tears falling with frustration.
-What set it off? He asks and hops closer.
-I am just not pretty, I say.
-What? He asks in disbelief.
-I'm not. This costume is weird on me, it itches and everyone's talking over each other and I just- I'm actually stressed now, I say.
-Hey it's ok, Johnny says and leans towards me.
-No, no it's not! I exclaim.
-It's not ok all I do is to ruin everything with my mood and my complex, I ramble frustrated.
-You and me both know that's not true, Johnny says. I look at him.
-You're lying, I shake my head.
-We both know that's exactly what's going on and I'm tired of people lying about it to me, I say. Johnny looks sadly at me. I clench my jaw. Why couldn't he understand how I am different from him. I was weird and special and extra maintenance. I don't want to burden him with that anymore.
-I just wanna be normal, I say. He has nothing to say so I stand up and leave. I go out from the back entrance and just start walking andI don't know where, my brain is all foggy and I cannot control myself. I start to cry harder than before. I try to dry my eyes to see but it was hard. As I sigh and just let my tears fall and think nothing could get worse at that point, it starts raining. This makes me feel way more hopeless.
I see Johnnys house in the distance. The garage where his father and him lives and fixes cars. I run across the road and sit down on the curb. I sigh shakily as I look out on the road in front of me. I look up at the dark evening sky. Water falls on my face as the rain hits the ground faster and harder. I look back out as a car passes. Suddenly I hear steps. I look back and there stands Marcus, Johnnys dad.

-What are you doing here all alone? He asks concerned.
-If you're looking for Johnny then I'm sorry to say but he's still at the theatre, he says.
-I know, I say plainly and look at the road.
-Then what are you here for? Marcus asks.
-I just needed some air, I shrug.
-Huh. Did Johnny do anything? He asks.
-No, I shake my head.
-Life's just hard sometimes, I sniffle and dry my nose.
-I see, he says. I then feel something warm around my shoulders. I look at him and he had placed a jacket around me.
-Y/N! I hear faint yelling. I look to the road beside me and there's Johnny just running towards us.
-I'll leave him to it, I'm sorry I couldn't help more but I am not great at this stuff, Marcus says. I nod and he walks off as Johnny comes near.
-Here you are! You just left, I tried calling you but you're phone was still in the theatre.
-I'm sorry, I say shamefully.
-I just needed to be alone, I say. Johnny sighs.
-It's ok. Let's just head back so that Buster can close up, Johnny says. He walks inside and drives out with his car. I hop into the seat next to him and we sit in silence all the way to the theatre.
We get inside and head to where our things are. I change out of the wet costume into my normal clothes and hop back into Johnnys car so that he can drive me home. I have my hoodie pulled up to my nose and I look down at my feet.
-Listen Y/N, I'm not mad at you, ok? Johnny says softly.
-I understand that it's really hard for you to function, but I can't help you if you just storm off, he says. I look up at him.
-When you left I got really worried. I don't want you to... to... disappear, Johnny says and looks at me for a second.
-I want you to be able to talk to me, he says and my eyes start brimming with tears again.
-And you don't have to. But I really want you to. I want you to feel like I'm here for you if you need me to be, Johnny says and stops at a red light.
-Because I really like you, Y/N, and I don't want to loose you, he says. I blush and look up at him.
-Y-you do? I ask. He nods and looks at me.
-I really do. So I wanna help you with things you think are hard, please, he begs me. I sniffle and hug him. He hugs me back and we sit there.
Suddenly the person behind us honks. We look up and notice that the light has turned green. He immediately shifts and drives off. I giggle as his face turns pure red.
-I like you too. That's why I find it so hard to talk to you. I don't wanna scare you off, I say.
-But you don't. You do exactly the opposite. Because I know how you work and I want to help you or just be there if there's nothing I can do, he says.
-You promise? I ask as he stops outside of my apartment.
-one hundred percent, he nods.
-Ok... thank you, I say.
-No problem. We'll fix this together. You'll put on your costume for general repetitions tomorrow and I promise that you'll look stunning in it, he says. I blush and my legs turn to jelly.
-Thank you Johnny, I say.
-Absolutely no problem. Pick you up tomorrow? He asks.
-Sure. Thanks again, I say and hop out of the car. He salutes me before driving off.
Two days later:
-You ready Y/N? Johnny asks.
-As ready as I can be, I answer. I grins and nods as the music starts and the curtains open.
(Strange magic from the movie; strange magic, on Spotify)
The setting is on a bridge over a small river in a forest. We made fake fireflies to set the mood.
-You're waking meadows in my mind, I start as the light softly sets on me.
-Making waves across my time, Oh no, oh no, I look towards Johnny on the other side of the bridge.
-I got a strange magic, I look away.
-Oh, what a, I blush.
-strange magic, Johnny comes in.
-Oh, it's a strange magic, I got a strange magic, We harmonize as Ash plays the electric guitar.
-You're sailing softly through the sun, Johnny sings as we walk closer on the bridge towards the middle. I echo the last phrase.
-Of a land I've always known, we meet at the middle of the bridge.
-You fly, Johnny sings and I echo.
-so high, we do the same thing and walk around each other to switch places.
-I got a strange magic, Oh, what a strange magic, Oh, it's a strange magic, I got a strange magic, we up the energy a bit as we walk around each other slowly.
-Oh, I'm never gonna be the same again, I sing and he echoes. I grin happily.
-Now I've seen the way it's got to end, I turn my back on him.
-Got to end? He sings back and puts a hand on my shoulder.
-Sweet dreams, I sing.
-Sweet dreams, he echoes.
-Sweet dreams! I turn around swiftly.
-I got a strange magic, Johnny twirls me.
-Oh, what a strange magic, Oh, it's a strange magic, Johnny smiles brightly as we dance along the bridge.
-I got a strange magic, got a strange magic, we sing as we stop in the middle of the bridge again.
-It's magic, I sing.
-It's magic, he responds and we walk past each other.
-It's magic! We lean on each other.
-I got a strange magic, we sing out into nowhere.
-Oh, what a strange magic, we turn slightly to the audience.
-Oh, it's a strange magic, We sing more desperately.
-I got a strange magic, we explain to the crowd.
-I got a strange magic, we turn to each other to explain instead.
-It's magic, I sing and smile.
-It's magic, he sings back and smiles and heaves with every breath.
-It's magic, I sing again and step closer.
-it's magic, he whispers.
-It's magic, This time he steps closer.
-It's magic, I end and Ash play the final notes.
As she does, me and Johnny hug a loving hug. Both as our characters but also as ourselves.
-I'm proud of you, he whispers quietly in my ear as the crowd screams and applauds for us. The curtains close to reveal the last playing scene by Rosita and Gunter.
As we notice that they started singing, we let go from our hug. I just look at him. He looks at me back and gives me a cheeky grin. I admire his teeth slightly showing up from his smile. He leans in slowly and kisses me. I reciprocate the kiss by slowly putting my hands around his neck. He pulls me closer to him and I smile into the kiss. We let go and he just stares at me.
-Guys you were awesome but you have to get away from backstage now, Buster says from behind Johnny. Johnny turns around all flustered and we see Buster smirking at us, mentioning the way out with his arms. Johnny carefully takes my hands and walks off stage. I mouth a quick think you to Buster and he just winks at me. But well backstage Johnny doesn't stop walking. He continues into a dressing room and closes the door. We were cramped up against each other in the small fitting room.
-So... where were we? He asks. I giggle and lean in to continue our kiss from before. And just as it had ended it started soft, his smooth lips against mine and his hands softly supporting my back.
I want to spend the rest of my days with this man. No doubts about that.

An Unbound Soul
When Peter suffers a too-close encounter with a truck, he finds himself reborn in another world. At first glance it is a perfect fantasy land. There's magic to play with, elves singing in the forest and a hyperactive catgirl neighbour. There's even a System that lets him earn skills and level up. But it isn't long before he notices that the world is far too perfect. Just why is everyone so nice? Can Peter accept the alien morality of this world's self-proclaimed protector, or will he seek to overthrow her? Set after the events of A Lonely Dungeon, a few hundred years after the rebirth of civilization, this is a story about an earthling falling into Erryn's new world and the subsequent struggles of himself and Erryn to understand each other. It's a slow paced slice of life, and while there are pieces of action, don't expect any immediate grand conflict between Erryn and Peter. Published here, scribblehub and amazon. Two new chapters a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The Empty Valley Cries Unheard
The stories can be read at any order. Phew, this story was finally finished at last! What could I say, it was a hell of a ride when I wrote it from the beginning to end. Thanks for having me on RR :D All the current chapter had already done a run on Grammarly, so hopefully it'd be more readable. ...kinda feeling lazy so calling off the edits for now. A couple of old / new attempts of combining Horror, Comedy and Absurdist elements. I'm not very good at writing Horror stories but I'd like to try once in a while. Although the first chapter may be completely screwed up, believe me--I mostly write fluffy gay scenes between two girls. It would PROBABLY become a lot lighter as we moved up the chapter count. Not for the faint of heart, but if you're like me who like some absurd or nonsensical stories, this might be right up your alley. Sorry in advance if some of the chapters seem normal lol additional tags : nonsense / absurd / parody

A Demon Lord's Reincarnation
Selina’s got a pretty active imagination. When doing math, she pretends that she is a great detective solving a heinous crime! Ordinary tasks, like a trip upstairs, turn into a perilous adventure to raid a dragon’s cave! She believes that life should be full of wonder and magic, and tries to force the world to cope with her conviction! But when Selina wakes up to remember her past life as the Demon Lord, she has to face the fact that real life is messy, and not anything like what she imagined. With ancient powers stirring, family problems, and the hectic life of a teenager, Selina will have to discover more about herself if she is going to survive the trials ahead. With the help of her best friend and a fair share of luck, she might just get through this alive. Maybe. (Updates (hopefully) on Sundays) This story started out as a flipped isekai. Instead of a hero being pulled into a medieval world, a Demon Lord is pulled into the modern world. It has since moved a bit beyond that initial premise but it is the foundation of the work. Along the way, I threw in dragons, elves, dwarves, and some vampires (but no werewolves, gotta nip that in the bud) all wrapped up in the political drama of a modern world. The story, however, will mainly focus on the characters and their development and as such, is a bit of a slow burn. It may take a couple of chapters to get into. You have been warned! (PS, please show patience for the author's notes. They're a bit crazy and don't always make the most sense. The author's a bit of a ditz. Please ignore him.)

Blood & Noodles
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] As they always have, humanity hunts the gods roaming the world, craving the supernatural power that flows within their veins. Even a drop is zealously guarded, passed from master to student through the ages. It is with this stolen power that the Blooded - those with divine blood coursing through them - grasp beyond mortality and achieve prestige, power, and greatness. Yet, for every fraction of power gained, thousands perish, slain by the gods' supernatural prowess. But everything is beginning to change. Eight years ago, for the first time in human memory, a god was felled. Part-time chef and full-time nuisance Orvi wants nothing to do with gods. Living in a derelict city, his only concerns are ensuring his adopted family's restaurant is prosperous and how to best beat the neighbourhood boys in a fight. If he's lucky, he might even snag a date with the farmer's daughter at the market. But even though he cares nothing for the gods or their blood, the world won't leave him alone forever. Because to reach godhood, one must first leave their humanity behind. *** The first arc of Blood & Noodles follows the adolescent Orvi as he attempts to navigate his rapidly changing home and - by his own definition - protect his family. The story is told almost entirely in the first-person, from the perspective of a teenager who isn't always the sharpest tool in the shed. There are tragic elements, especially in the current arc. It's character-focused and driven, though the protagonist's shenanigans are backdropped by a world operating independently from him. Orvi's a generally light-hearted character, and though the story veers into darker territory, I also want it to be able to make readers smile. Action sequences, despite the fantastical elements, are meant to be grounded and clearly-conveyed; Orvi is a brawler, not a warrior. I'm trying to write a story that's enjoyable to read and flows nicely, mainly because it's more fun to write. I'm also trying to improve my writing, so any feedback, whether positive or negative, is welcome!
