Y/N POV:
It's December 1st and toy making is in ridiculous speed. Letters were now starting to come in quick and Santa- I mean Nicholas, was making some small special gifts and fixing lasting details on some unfinished projects in his study. I knock carefully on his door.
-Come in! He boasts. I open the door and walk in carefully and close the door quickly. He turns around and as he spots me he smiles.
-Ah, hello Mother Earth, he says and stands up. He was at least three heads taller than me in my normal shape.
-Hello Father Christmas, I say and he leans down and places a soft peck on my lips.
-Lovely to see you, he chuckles and I fiddle with his beard.
-Now, look at my work! He says happily and puts his hand at my lower back and shows me all of his majestic toys that he's beginning to sculpt.
-I've been working all day, he says.
-I know, and that's why I came, I say.
-Huh? He says.
-So you'd take a break, I laugh and sit down in his chair, crossing my legs. He laughs and then points at me seriously.
-You're funny, he says and I roll my eyes but smile nonetheless.
-C'mon darling, you said it yourself that you've been working all day, isn't it a time to take a break and spend some time with your wife? I ask and bat my eyelashes at him. He walks up to me and turns the spin chair towards him and puts one hand on the desk and the other is firmly planted on the arm rest of the chair.
-You really are funny, he smiles and leans in to kiss me when suddenly the door slams open and hundreds of small jingles are heard. In the doorway stands none other than bunnymund and Jack Frost.
-Ugh guys you're ancient and you're still doing that, bunny says and winces. I send him a look.
-What are you guys doing here? Isn't Jack supposed to make it snow and make children play? Nick asks.
-Well yeah but he insisted that he'd come here and help out with toy making, bunny says and crosses his arms.
-Why would he help make toys, huh? Hes still a child he should be getting toys, Nick says and I laugh.

-Oh c'mon St.Nick, have some fun with it, Jack says and touches a few of the newer toy designs.
-Jack that is not a good idea. You? Let loose in the workshop? I don't think so, I say and cross my arms.
-Oh please mrs.Clause it would be epic! Jack says.
-I still don't get why people call me that, I say in disbelief.
-Not even his last name is Clause, it's North, I say and point to my husband.
-Woah so you're name is like mother earth st. North? Jack asks and flies over me.
-No, I say firmly.
-Listen I'd love to chat but I was kinda busy with something, Nick says.
-Smooching your wife? Bunny asks and nonchalantly picks at his claws.
-I'll have you know that I am allowed to kiss my own wife, bunny, it is my job as her husband, Nick says and point at bunny.
-I think Jack was the real problem here, Bunny excuses.
-Hey! Jack says.
-Ok guys listen, bunny you'll supervise Jack while Nick and I finish up here and we'll come down later, I say.
-Wha- hey no I was only supposed to- gah come on! Bunny says.
-C'mon then! Jack yells at bunny as he is halfway through the workshop. Bunny sighs and walks after Jack.
-What will we tell him? Nick asks me.
-To just come back another day. I'll find him something to do, don't worry, I smile, which makes him smile.
-What would I do without you? He asks me.
-I guess we'll never know, I shrug and he leans down to kiss me again, putting his hands on my back. Just as my eyes close I hear a jingle come in through the door and we both look down at him.
-What? Nick asks annoyed. The jingle points through the door at a group of jingles fighting over cookies on Nicks cookie platter.
-Oh boy, Nick sighs and shakes his head and I giggle. I lean up and kiss his cheek and he lets me go.
-come on we've got more time later, now let's fix this mess, I say and grab the red coat I had gotten as a wedding present from Nick. He smiles and does the same and we walk out into the workshop.
It's a week and a half from Christmas Eve and it was busier than ever. Jack was surprisingly helpful and created new ice blocks in a second so that Nick could work. I ran around, making sure everything was being finished in time.

-Uh-Uh Bob, the trains and other emergency vehicles go at the other end of the sleigh! I scold as I walk through the crowded workshop. The yeti grumbles and fixed his mistake.
-Jingles, don't forget that blue is a cold color and you cannot paint something blue on a toy if it's green, unless it's the sky, I says and they frown.
-Oh Jack, thank god, could you give these papers to Tim, he handles the paperwork on the fifth floor, I hand Jack a few papers.
-I got it! He says and flies up to the fifth floor.
-Ah look at the Christmas cheer, Nick walks up to me and holds me to his side.
-I don't know Nick, they don't look too cheerful to me, I comment as a few jingles start fighting.
-Bah, they always do that, Nick says and I smile and roll my eyes.
-Anyways how's toy making going? I ask as I continue to walk along the workshop.
-It's going very well, I think I've exceeded the amount of toys needed this year. Although some kids get a special surprise, He says.
-That's great honey, I say as we finally approach the sleigh.
-And what do you think of the renovation? I ask as some jingles are carefully polishing the fresh wood.
-It's beautiful darling, he laughs.
-Look at this new color! He beams and leans down and carefully touches the side of the sleigh that's painted red.
-You'll never guess what they named the color, I grin.
-What? He asks.
-Santa's sleigh, I says and he laughs.
-Oh that is fantastic, merry Christmas to me! He says.
-Although we have to make sure prancer's not in the back, he's been squeamish lately, I say.
-Darling you're doing too much, Nick stands up.
-No, no, no, I'm making sure that Christmas goes smoothly for everyone, I say and check some boxes. Nick carefully takes my clipboard from my hands.
-hey! I jump after it but he holds it way above his head.
-Ah Ah Ah my love, it's time for a cookie break, he says.
-Oh c'mon Nick there's still some details left, I say.
-Those can wait, there's time. Come now, he grabs me around my waist and we walk to his office for a cookie break.
December 24th, 6pm
-Alright Nick, you ready to go? I ask my husband who's getting ready in the sleigh.
-I am so ready! He laughs.
-Bob, are the presents rightfully placed? I ask and he nods and then walks away mocking me. I laugh. Nick sits down in his slay with us special Christmas suit on.
-Alright, I will head off now, he says and grabs the reins.
-Ah- honey aren't you forgetting something? I ask teasingly and wave with his hat.
-Ah of course, my Christmas hat! How could I forget? He reaches for it and I give it to him.
-I don't know. Maybe because it is in a box for the rest of the years except for tonight? I ask and he laughs sarcastically.
-Go rest, I'll be back tomorrow, he says.
-I know... see you later, I say and wave goodbye to him and run to the window where you get the best view of the sleigh as it exists the base. I watch in wonder as it flies up and away. The snow is gently falling onto the ground and Nick waves at me as he flies away. I wave back and rest my head in my hands as I watch him fly away in the sleigh.
I wake up to someone tapping my shoulder. I stir and gently open my eyes and there stands Nick, back in his regular attire.
-Huh? You're back already? I ask and stretch.
-Well I guess you fell asleep here, he chuckles softly. I smile as he sits down next to me.
-I guess... How was the kids? I ask.
-Mostly asleep, he says and I laugh.
-Of course, I say.
-Well what do you say? Nick asks.
-Merry Christmas? I ask back confused.
-No, he laughs loudly.
-What do you say about heading to bed? He asks.
-Oh come on it's Christmas Day, let's just sit here... cookies? I ask.
-You know there's always time for cookies, Nick laughs. He takes my hand and we walk to the kitchen to grab us some cookies.
