《Frenemies》Chapter 4: I Love You Jungkook

"Now for the next ti-"
"No," you said softly, staring up at the three that grinned down at all the items you had collected the last week. They had already sold off many of the jackets you had robbed and to your, oh-so-great surprise, the jackets gave Jae more than 1k as a total.
Sure, that meant you'd have more off the debt you owe him, but seeing as the pictures of you kissing the maknae costs a lot of their own, you knew you'd be done in no time. 8 to 10k more? You sighed internally in frustration.
"What do you mean no?" Jae asked, moving to sit down onto his bed as well, staring over at you near the corner of it as you had been called in for this "sweet" get-together.
"Should I print out a dictionary for you?" you snapped, tired of robbing the same individuals that had let you go the last time.
You, a robber, had been caught, and yet, they let you go. Stupid move on the maknae's part, you thought internally, he wasn't even aware that past the sap snooze-fest I was giving him, I had expensive company-owned jackets stored to sell up in my bag.
"I think you should," Jae retorted back, "so you could find the definition of 'receiving loans from a drug and theft handler' for yourself to understand."
You blinked.
His face was tightened and suddenly stressed out. The other two, Vee and the quiet unknown man, stood silent, watching everything vigorously.
"I don't think they have solid phrases like that in the dicti-"
Jae gave out you the deadliest glare over you trying to form smugness to the situation. You shut up immediately, swallowing a little at the stare. Normally if he ever scared you, or threatened you, you'd force yourself to not react...but sometimes, even sarcasm couldn't save you. Jae was scary.
"You owe me 12k more."
Your eyes bugged. "12k?!" you squeaked, incredibly shocked that you were still at such a high price, "but what about the news outlets buying out the pictures! How is that even possible?"
"They sold off well," Jae mumbled, nodding, "clearly not enough...so until you've finished owing me, you're stuck with me."
"I don't want to be," you said bluntly, "we used to be stuck to each other all the time before, but now I wanna detach."
Vee and the man looked over at each other slowly, clearly understanding that you were making this to be about sex. Out of all times, you always seemed to find a way to go back to things that didn't matter or relate when in serious circumstances.
Vee pursed her lips from smiling one bit when seeing Jae's back muscles start to flex further.
You grinned, pulling out your hands and lacing your fingers with each other. Pulling at both ends, you exaggeratedly tried to mimic your hands being glued together. "I wanna be free," you looked up at him seriously, but there was a teasing glint in your eyes, "let me be free Jae...let me be Willy."
You whispered that last bit out, only to smile when Vee snorted and tried to hold in her laughter from behind Jae.
"Free Willy," you whispered out dramatically, staring innocently at Jae who was irritated to new levels of extremes at this point.
"No."
"Okay."
He nodded, ushering you to leave with the wave of his head.
You did, getting onto your feet, you stopped however, close by the door.

"I'll steal anything," you said, trying to clarify where you stood, "from anyone more...but I can't steal from the boys again."
Jae's eyes squinted.
"I won't make you steal from them again," Jae said softly, nodding a little as he thought long and hard over what he was about to say next.
"Thanks fam," you popped out in relief, letting out a wave airy laughter from your lungs, "for a moment there I thought you were going to say otherwise. I almost took a shit straight on your floors I-"
"I have something else you can do instead."
You coughed on your laugh, smile falling incredibly fast once again.
-
Jungkook's face scrunched in slight disgust when having your haunting laugh circulate through his tired mind.
The sun was starting to set, darkness lingering outside. Jungkook had checked the house, and all the windows and doors before sitting down again. He was in awe, totally shook after the memory of you.
It had been a week, and yet, he was still unable to believe that he had let you go. Even Yoongi's disappointed stare throughout the entire exchange was not a wake-up call for Jungkook. The boy had, first off, let you go, then second, didn't tell the others that you were the robber that had been showing up almost at every outdoor event of theirs so far to steal. Yoongi was just upset that you had managed to get into the building as well...heck, I don't know why I let her go either to be honest.
.
"Why?"
"I don't know hyung," Jungkook said softly, tense as he lay on Yoongi's bed, "I froze up at the mention of her parents..."
"You trust people too easily," Yoongi snapped, irritated that he promised the maknae to not say a word about their little robber being Lia's friend, "she could've been lying."
"She seemed to be troubled."
"She stole from us."
Jungkook sighed.
"This is about Lia," Yoongi mumbled, seeing right through the maknae, "you're scared that if management finds out Lia accidentally let a criminal into the building, her job could be at risk."
"Sure," Jungkook popped up, agreeing that that was a huge factor as well, "that...and well, the girl looked desperate."
"Desperate?"
"Yes," Jungkook mumbled, eyes narrowing when remembering the look in your eyes when talking about your parents, "almost as if she was scared for her family. Which is why I believed her and let her go."
"You let her go with a promise and nothing more," Yoongi said lowly, "I don't know how efficient that will be but I guess we'll see."
"She won't rob us again," Jungkook mumbled out, having a hard time believing his stern remark himself.
"I hope not."
Jungkook's nose scrunched, feeling his stomach falling.
He didn't feel good about this.
.
"I don't feel right about this," Jungkook popped over towards Namjoon and Jin who sat nonchalantly, eating away at snacks on the couch as all focused on the television screen that blared before them.
"Don't feel right about what?" Jin popped, tossing a chip into his mouth as his eyes never left the screen before him.
"Uh," Jungkook snapped out of his thoughts, wondering to himself if his decision was truly the right one or not, "N-Nothing, I'm just sleepy."
"Then go sleep," Namjoon popped out, not understanding the problem as he side-glanced over towards Jungkook.
Jungkook swallowed lightly.
"I'm not tired."

"I thought you just said y-"
Jungkook nervously laughed, standing up from his spot on the couch as he instantly got up from his seat and straightened at his back.
"Is everyone else in bed?" Jungkook piped, changing the subject instantly as he grabbed at his phone and shoved it into his jeans.
"Yes."
"Okay," Jungkook mumbled, gritting his teeth a little as he moved to explore through the hallways slowly and eventually find himself to thoughtlessly move into his bedroom space.
Namjoon watched, eyes narrowed. He noticed something was clearly bothering the maknae, but the leader couldn't put his finger on it. So instead, he remained quiet, watching the boy walk towards the the black hole that was the lightless hallway of their living space.
"Hyung should we check on him later?" Namjoon whispered over at Jin who was staring at Jungkook as well, brows knitted as well.
"Yes."
"Really?"
Jin grinned, waving it off as he grabbed more chips. "No," he snorted, surprised Namjoon fell into that serious answer for a moment before going back to focus on the front and at the screen.
Namjoon grinned a little, stealing the bag of chips from Jin before looking forward.
"He's probably just drained and still worried about that mystery girl," Jin mumbled, remembering how they had experienced a robber about twice now.
"Right," Namjoon popped, munching away, "where is she now?"
Jin shrugged.
Namjoon sighed.
"Probably bathing in the money she got from all our stuff," Jin mumbled out, too tired to truly feel any annoyance over the recalling of situation, as all he could think about was how delicious the snacks were.
-
Jungkook moved his grey hood more onto his head, moving the hair that fell to his eyes a little with his fingers as he tapped away at the top of his phone that sat securely in his pocket.
He was tense.
Why? Jungkook knew exactly why, but at the same time, he felt a little at ease.
She won't come back...she promised me she won't.
Jungkook forced his tired self to smile a little to himself. Rubbing at his face with his free hand, he moved both his hands out and at his sides as he moved to open at his bedroom door.
Moving into the dark and silenced room, Jungkook switched on the light, getting ready to turn around, strip out of his jacket, and jump onto his bed. He genuinely felt the need to sleep at this point, wanting to put everything - the world, the responsibilities and worries behind him for a moment.
Jungkook just wanted sleep, but that wasn't what fate had in store now was it?
Eyes glancing casually to his bed, his entire body jumped in slight shock. The wind barely reaching his lungs, his heart skipped a beat.
"Wha-"
He blinked, unsure if what he was seeing was true or not. He took a moment to assess the situation, mouth open, staring at the person in the center, in front of his bed. Wow, you're seeing her now? He thought internally, blinking hastily and quickly, wishing that the form in the middle of his room would disappear the moment he opened at his eyes.
But no, the form didn't disappear.
This is where his shock grew instantly and fast. Hitting him like a crowd surfing fan at a punk rock concert, Jungkook wanted to run, to scream at the top of his lungs. He wanted to call for help, call for his hyung, all while still question the form before him.
...he couldn't move however, frozen and stuck in place to simply be gawking at you.
You stood before him, in your jacket and boots.
"Don't panic," you said quickly and softly, stepping towards him, "I'm not here to hurt you or steal from you."
Jungkook couldn't say anything. He was frozen, simply just having his eyelids shut and open slowly. Trying to keep his shaking breath steady when staring over at you smack in the middle of his bedroom.
He was too much in shock to truly unveil how or why you managed to sneak in. In that moment, all that struck him was the fact that you were in front of him once again.
.
"Promise me you'll leave us alone."
"Gladly," you piped, trying to shove away from Jungkook who still held you against the wall.
"Great, never do I want to see your face ever again," Jungkook snapped, trying to regain his exterior from the softness that clouded him the moment you had started to talk about supporting your low-income family, "got that?"
Your jaw clenched, looking him straight in the eyes. You hated being touched with such aggressiveness. Man-handling men was one thing, but the moment one touched you back the same way, you grew irritated.
"Yes."
"Great."
"Awesome," you popped bitterly, "now, let me go beautiful before I shove my knee up your asshole."
.
"W-We," Jungkook swallowed, clearing at his throat as he slowly found his ground, "we had a deal."
"I know," you said, softly smiling over at the man.
Jungkook glanced around and over to his window. He didn't see anyone outside of it, confused over how you got in the the first place...
"What are you doing here?" he asked, about to grill you with millions of questions.
The worst thing he was planning on doing was calling the cops on you if you even tried to jack any of his things from his room. I'll check her jacket quick after I kick her out.
"I..."
Jungkook watched as you smiled a little shyly and took a step towards him.
"...came to..."
He was immensely confused. First, with the fact that you kept nearing him, and next, because of your expression. Why is she smiling at me like that? He questioned internally, not understanding the culture behind seducing - which you were clearly trying to implement.
"Came to what?"
"Say thank you," you finished softly, standing right in front of the frozen maknae.
Jungkook's brows were one as they furrowed greatly. He didn't think anything, nor did he feel any sort of affection towards you as you grew closer to him. It wasn't until the moment you let your hand move slowly over his chest over the layers of clothing, where his brows unknit.
Glancing over at you, his parted lips were taken advantage of you when you instantly had your's fit directly onto his. Jungkook hastily blinked in surprise as he mumbled a "wait" pulling away, eyes wide.
You had blank eyes.
"What's wrong sweetheart?" you whispered, hand going to his cheek.
Jungkook's eyes were wide. He was frozen, now terrified, and so soo confused.
"The...fuck?"
Jungkook voice was squeaking, but it was barely above a whisper.
You smiled at that, chuckling.
"You're so cute when you play dumb babe."
Jungkook took in a gulp, arms up in slight defense. He was ready to smack and fling his fingers at your throat if you tried anything. Or so he thought he was prepared...
You undid your jacket.
Jungkook's already wide eyes watched as the cloth fell to the ground. His eyes fell out and practically rolled onto the floor at that, gaze going up to the ceiling in pure shock when accidentally catching a glance of your completely naked and exposed form before him.
His heart skipped a beat for a different reason now. Not fright, but sudden shocking arousal. His face scrunched in disgust however, not understanding the situation, and his irritation skyrocketing in that moment. About to snap at you, or shove away from you in confusion, Jungkook's brows jumped when you mumbled over at him and pressed your naked self to hug his fully clothed form.
He almost had an accident in his underwear when feeling certain parts of your bare form tightly against him.
"I love you Jungkook," you said softly, staring down at his lips with a sweet smile.
Jungkook's nose scrunched, face hilariously pained.
Jungkook's eyes widened when you kissed him, harsh and intense. Instant and deep, his hands awkwardly flailed a little in the air, not knowing where to put them.
WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING?! He thought mentally.
You counted down the minutes as you kissed him, mentally noting the fact that the camera placed at Jungkook's window ledge was recording and getting everything needed.
[...yup. Yikes. But don't worry, I'm not about having him stick any of his idol junk in me. This ain't a sex tape. *wink wonk* oh, sorry was it too early to joke? I'll explain everything more the next time, I promise. Just relish in this shit for now. Boobs to his chest, yummm. Ha ha.]
