《Stuck With Him: Kai Parker》17

I quietly shut the door behind me and peered around the house.
"What do you mean she ran away?" I froze at Stefan's voice. Him and Damon were in the living room while Kai was unconscious on the sofa.
"I mean she's not there anymore, Stefan." Damon replies, shaking his head. "What about that don't you understand?"
His eyes went on me and I gasped, backing away. Thought he didn't say anything, and looked back at Kai. I let out a deep breath and put my hand over my chest.
"Thank god." I blurted out. My eyes widened when I realised that I spoke, but neither of the brothers seemed to notice. I sighed in relief that my spell was working.
"Why did she leave?" Stefan asked. I stepped more into the room to hear the two better. "You realise that Kol's going to kill us now. Or maybe him." He nodded at Kai. "According to Elena those two are a thing now."
Damon cringed. "Gross, Riley with that weasel. She can do so much better."
"Shut up, Damon." I frowned, walking over to them. I looked at Kai and patted his head. "Cutie."
"Yeah, but who is better Kai, the sociopath who butchered his family or Kol, the original who murdered hundreds because his girlfriend died?" Stefan wondered.
"Wow, she's got horrible taste in men. She even said that I wasn't her type, me. I'm everyone's type." Damon scoffed, sipping more of his drink.
"Whatever, Damon." Stefan replied. I laughed and sat down beside Stefan.
"So how are things with you and Blondie?" Damon asked, sitting down on an armchair.
I thought, then nodded.
"Not good, she fed her blood to a cancer patient. He seemed fine then died, it was horrible. And to make things worse she fed Liz her blood too." Stefan told him, sighing.
"Wow." Was all Damon said to respond.
"I know, I don't know what to do to fix anything. Caroline's a mess, the guilt is killing her."
Damon leaned over and patted Stefan's leg. "You, brother have a big problem on your hands."

"Kai, Kai, wake up you idiot." I whispered, shaking him.
He groaned, rolling over so his back was to me. "Five more minutes."
I rolled my eyes. "Idiot." I climbed onto him and he whined, moving me away. I fought him and straddled him, leaning down to kiss him.
I felt him wake up and kiss me back. I mentally rolled my eyes, ending the kiss. "You heard me didn't you?"
Kai smirked with his eyes shut. "Course, Ri."
"Idiot." I said. Kai opened his eyes fully to reveal their grey blue.
"What happened to you?" Kai asked, sitting up with me still on him.
"Long story." I sighed.
Kai shrugged and yawned, rubbing his eyes. "I've got time."
I grinned and explained to him what happened to me during the last few hours.
"So that's why, I kept getting scratches." He muttered after I finished my story.
I gave him a blank stare. "I was forced back with my ex, who by the way I don't remember, dressed up like some doll and ran for hours straight and all you're worried about is the stupid scratches?"
Kai laughed. "It sounded more fun then what I did, I've been stuck here for hours. My body is physically weak I have no magic." He gave me a big smile. "Ri-"
"No."

"What why?" He whined, pouting adorably. I mimicked his pout and ruffled his hair.
"Because I need magic to keep this stupid cloaking spell up."
Kai raised a brow. "You're doing a cloaking spell?"
"Yes."
"Who taught you?"
"Liv."
Kai nodded. "So now what, Ri?"
"No clue." I confessed. "I wanted to make sure they didn't kill you."
Kai smiled and pinched my cheek. "Aww you care for me, Ri."
"No, Malachai. I want to make sure that I live."
He frowned, I fake smiled but heard people appearing. "Got to go." I quickly hopped off him and pondered out of the room while Kai laid back down, pretending to be unconscious.
I watched Stefan, Damon and Elena enter into the room. "So, what exactly are we going to do with him?" Elena asked.
"Well first we need to wake him." Damon said, shaking Kai rather harshly. "Yo, witch boy wake up."
Kai opened his eyes and chuckled to himself. "Witch boy? That's a bit unoriginal don't you think Damon."
"Tell me again, why we aren't killing this guy?" Stefan wondered, shaking his head.
I thought.
"Because he's linked to Raquel, I heard them talk about in the high school." Elena explained.
"My name isn't Raquel." I huffed with annoyance.
"Raquel, don't you mean Riley?" Kai said, earning a glare from them all.
"Thank you Kai." I ran a hand through my hair.
The door suddenly burst open and Kol and his siblings made their way inside. I jumped even though I wasn't in sight.
"No of course you are allow to come in." Damon said sarcastically and I giggled to myself.
"We are here looking for Raquel. It appears she has escaped and we wish to bring her back to her home." Elijah explained, blanking Damon's previous remark.
"How exactly did she manage to escape a house full of original vampires?" Damon wondered, looking rather impressed.
"It seems that she still has some magic left in her. And she is able to use it." Elijah answered, annoyance clear in his voice even though his tone is calm.
"So if don't wish for me to kill all of you. I suggest you help us look for her." Klaus added with a smile.
"And who the bloody hell is this Kai, she mentioned?" Rebekah wondered, raising her eyebrows.
"That'd be me, sweetheart." Kai grinned. Rebekah shot him a death glare, vamp speeding to hold him against a wall with her hand on his throat.
"I'm not your bloody sweetheart." She snarled.
I gasped, struggling for my breath and held my throat. I thought.
"Rebekah." Kol shouted. I didn't know what he did but I was able to breathe again.
I gasped to catch my breath. I muttered the spell again, so I was hidden and rested on the wall. I painted and looked over at Kai. He was holding his throat as he sat back down.
Rebekah was glaring at Kol. "What the bloody hell is wrong now?" She snapped.
"What ever you do to him, affects Raquel." Kol explained, sending a scowl Kai's way. "Where's your witch friend? Maybe she can help us undo this spell."
I thought with a pout.
"She's trapped in a prison world." Kai boasted with a smirk. He was so lucky that nobody could kill him.
"What?" Kol looked at everyone. "How did that happen?"
"Bonnie and I were trapped in a prison world, where we met this weasel and Ri-Raquel. Raquel and I got out but Kai and Bonnie were stuck there, I don't know how Kai got out though." Damon told them.

"I got out, after I stabbed her and left her for dead." Kai laughed a little, Damon looked ready to kill him.
"You what?!" He exclaimed, his fangs extended out fully.
"Calm down, Damon." Stefan said to his brother. Elena comforted him and I raised a brow.
"Ooh, this is getting good." I mumbled to myself.
"You are so lucky, I care for Raquel." Klaus growled at Kai who just rolled his eyes.
"Whatever, why are you guys even looking for Riley? It's obvious she doesn't love you anymore Ken so just move on, she has." Kai shrugged.
Kol was fuming at Kai, Elijah held him back. "What do you mean moved on? Raquel loved Kol more than anything." Rebekah said.
"Moved on as in with another person, doesn't care about you anymore. That sort of thing." Kai shrugged. "With me." He giggled to himself.
"What?" Kol yelled. I jumped at his tone.
"Calm down, brother. We'll just compel her feelings for Kai away and you'll have her all to yourself." Klaus suggested.
I thought.
Kai's grin was gone and a different emotion was on his face but it went in seconds. "That is a great idea, brother." Kol agreed.
"I know I'm a genius, now we should begin our search for our dear Raquel." Klaus stated and the originals left the house.
"What's wrong lover boy? Afraid of having your girlfriend be compelled from you." Damon grinned, chuckling.
"This is coming from you." Kai laughed, resting his head in his hands.
Damon glared, while Elena blushed staring at her feet. "Whatever, we need you to do a favour for us." Stefan said as Elena calmed down Damon again.
"What?" Kai questioned, raising his eyebrows.
"It seems Liz has vampire blood in her system and we need you to adsorb the magic from her." He replied, running his hand through his hair.
"Aww......I'm touched you guys chose me." Kai grinned, I rolled my eyes.
"Its not like there are many siphoners in Mystic Falls." Elena spat.
"Whatever. Let's go and get some magic." Kai said, standing up and fixing his clothes.
"I can't wait to kill him." Damon mumbled, as they left. I waited them leave, before uncloaking myself.
"Okay, so the originals are after me. Kai is getting magic and probably going to kill Jo. And I'm starving." I stated, hearing my stomach rumble.
"Let's see what they have." I added, stepping to the fridge.
++++
"So?" Liv asked as I came back. I kicked off the shoes, letting out a sigh as I shut the door.
"Well, Kai's alive. So that's good. But..."
"But?" Liv repeated, interested.
I sighed. "Originals are hunting me and want to swipe my memories of Kai away. So yeah, I'm in pretty deep shit." I said, sitting on her roommates bed.
"And I thought my older brother coming back from a prison world to kill me was bad." Liv joked, I laughed.
"Yeah, but what am I supposed to do? I can't go to Damon, he'll send me to Kol. I can't go to Kai, everyone is watching him. I can't go home, because I don't remember it." I huffed.
I laid back on the bed, staring at the wooden ceiling. "Why is my life so annoying Liv?" I asked, lifting my head a little to look at her. She was on her phone, nodding.
"Seriously? I'm explaining to you how four vampires are hunting me down and you're on your phone texting whatever his face is." I scoffed, rolling my eyes as I looked back to the ceiling
"I wasn't texting Tyler, yes his name is Tyler. I was just playing Angry Birds, stupid pigs won't just die." Liv cursed, I laughed.
I played Angry Birds and I broke my phone in the process. So Damon bought another. "God, I'm exhausted. I'm gonna go to sleep. And I'm sleeping on this bed, screw your roommate." I got comfortable.
"I'd rather not." Liv said, I laughed, closing my eyes to slowly fall asleep.
++++
"I'm not one of those crazy girls." I sang, rocking my head to my earphones as I flicked on my phone. I slept for a few hours.
I felt refreshed and ready to hide from vampires.
So I decided to listen to music and paint my nails, I was that bored. I chose a dark blue. It was fine but I defenceless with wet nails.
"Why can't there be a spell for drying nails faster?" I whined, looking at my wet nails. I huffed, rolling my eyes as I went back on my phone.
"I need to stop talking to myself." I decided, then cursed.
I screamed to myself.
I sighed, my stomach rumbling. I swore, I was dressed in leggings and a jumper from Liv.
"Stupid leggings with their no pockets." I tutted, gently sliding my phone in the jumper pocket at the front. My nails were safe and I left the dorm room with my trainers were already on.
I hummed down the halls, I had money that I stole from Liv so I could eat at the grill. A guy, Matt, I thought his name was, worked there and was the only human I knew from Mystic Falls.
I liked him, he made me laugh. I smiled at my thought then suddenly stopped walking, I paused dead in my tracks with my eyes widened.
"Shit." I swore, when I spotted the originals. "Shit."
I gulped, turning around as I lifted the hood to hide my face. I attempted to walk around them. It had seemed like a great plan, until I bumped into some guy.
I could have killed that guy. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry." He said, rather loudly. His books crashed on the book along with me and created an echoing noice that everyone, including Kol and his siblings, heard.
"It's fine." I muttered.
"No, I'm so-"
"Shut up, before I break your neck." I hissed, standing up. His eyes widen and I frowned.
"Bitch." I heard him mutter. My eyes widened and I slapped him.
"Bitch." I mimicked, before rushing another way.
"Raquel." I heard Rebekah call, I gulped. "Raquel, we aren't idiots."
I thought, turning a corner.
Honestly it wasn't fair, me a human with beginner witch powers running from four original vampires.
They must have spilt up because only Rebekah was behind me, she didn't look happy. "Raquel, stop this pathetic behaviour."
"My name is Riley, no Raquel here." I called back, turning another corner only to see Elijah at the end of the hall.
Kol was in front me, Klaus to my right. "Sup." I waved, giving them a peace sign with my fingers. They didn't seem impressed well Kol grinned.
"So you're just stand there and stare. Not creepy at all." I kissed my teeth, looking at all four siblings around me.
"Darling, you are so cute." Kol said and I smiled.
"Shut up." Rebekah said sounding annoyed, I rolled my eyes. "Kol, just get her so we can leave. I have better things to be doing."
Kol vamp sped to me, his arms tight around my body. I struggled and he kissed my forehead. "Kitten calm down."
"Again, with the name." I said, rolling my eyes again. He laughed. I scanned around hoping for something.
I bit my lip, thinking. I spotted a fire escape, down the hall Elijah was in. "Can you let me go please?" I asked Kol wth my puppy eyes.
"Darling don't give me those eyes." He said with a smile. "But everything is going to be fine, I assure you."
"What's going to happen?"
"I'll explain later." He kissed my cheek. "Let's go."
"About time." Rebekah said. "I've wasted enough time on this."
"Please let me go." I said. "Please."
"Darling we've been over this, no." Kol told me.
"Then I'm sorry." I said, flicking my wrist to snap all their necks.
But it didn't worked. My eyebrows raised and I blushed in embarrassment.
"For what?" Kol asked, looking at me. He chuckled and kisses my cheek again. "You're adorable."
I cursed under my breath knowing I did the spell wrong. "Bare with. I'm new at this." I tried again and it worked.
Their necks broke and they all dropped to the floor. "Again super sorry, but yeah." I shrugged.
Slipping into the fire escape I locked the door behind me. I suddenly heard banging from the originals attacking the door.
"Riley, darling open the door." I heard Kol say.
I wondered.
The door was already half broke. "Run, you idiot." I said to myself, I did. I ran.
I had no idea where, just through the fire escape. It lead me outside in a back way. I ran still, my earphones whacking my chest as I did.
Running faster, I ran and ran and ran until my legs eventually gave in. So I rested on a bench. Why I wore a jumper I didn't know, I was sweating. I panted, desperate to catch my breath.
I rested my arms on my legs, that's when I noticed. I whined, looking at my nails. "Bastards made me chip a nail."
