《Stuck With Him: Kai Parker》2

I closed my diary and put it back into Zac, before standing up. I brushed down my clothes.
"Kai!" I called, walking around the deserted streets. "Oh, Malachai! Where are you?"
Kai and I were playing hide and seek, because what else were we going to do. I was looking for Kai but i got bored since I couldn't find him and decided to write a small diary entry.
"Malachai!"
We made a bet, our friendship was based on bets; if I was able to find in under a hour, I was allowed to finally sleep in the master bedroom. If not he would sleep in it.
"I give up." I caved in and went back to the house we stayed in. An hour had already pasted so there was no point.
Shaking my head, I walked through the front door and took Zeke off my back, (yep I still had him) before tossing him onto the sofa while I made my way towards the kitchen.
I grabbed myself a bottle of water from the fridge and went upstairs to freshen up because I was sweaty from running around. I drank my water, as I went upstairs to the bathroom.
After I was showered, I left the bathroom with a towel wrapped around me. Due to my 'great' memory, I forgotten to get a fresh towel. Meaning I had to wrap a tiny towel around my body.
"I guess I won." The sound of Kai's voice scared the life out of me and I screamed a little, almost dropping my towel.
I turned around and saw him, sat on my bed with a smirk on his face. He bit his lower lip while his eyes wondered my body up and down. I snapped my fingers to catch his attention off my body.

"Eyes up here." I pointed at my face.
Kai chuckled and didn't listen to me, in fact his eyes lingered on my chest. I blushed slightly. "Where were you?" I asked him to avert his attention.
"I was in the house." He replied with his eyes still on my chest.
I scoffed. "No you weren't, I searched this house top to bottom and didn't find you." I frowned. "I bet you cheated."
"Sore loser much, Ri. And I didn't cheat, I'm just good at winning." He grinned, resting his hands on his knees and his eyes finally met mine.
I rolled my eyes. "Get out." I ordered, pointing at the door. "Leave."
Kai did his cute head tilt. "Why, Ri?" He said, standing off the bed and walking towards me. I backed away but bumped into the bathroom door. Kai towered over me, causing his grin to grow.
"Malachai, get out of my bedroom."
He rested his arm above my head and I sucked in a breath. "Why don't you like having me here?"
I touched his chest and push him away but he didn't move. "Not really a big fan."
"That's a shame, Ri." Kai moved closer to me, his chest now against mine. I blushed and he chuckled. "I'm enjoying it."
I felt some sort of tension in the room. "Can you move, please?"
Kai rested his other hand on my waist. "Just admit it, Ri."
I raised a brow. "Admit what?"
Kai laughed, burying his head in my neck. My eyes grew and I felt my cheeks warmth.
Even though Kai and I knew one another for a long time, we were never very close intimately. Unless he got into one of his horny moods and would randomly slap my butt but I would simply slap his back.

"You like me."
. I thought.
But I told him. "As a friend."
His hand lowered to touch my bare thigh. I gasped slightly and Kai lifted up his head to look at me. "With benefits?"
I shook my head. "You're disgusting."
"And you never answered my question."
"Kai, leave my room."
"Ri, come on." I grinned and it was a sexy grin. I gulped and held my towel tighter. Kai tilted his head and his hand rose. "Let's help each other, fix each other's stress."
"Kai-"
"Riley." The way he said my name made me melt. Kai pressed his body closer to mine. "You feel that?"
I did, it would've difficult not to, and I gave a short nod. "I do."
"So...." He bit his lip. "What do you say?"
It took everything in me but I looked at Kai dead in the eye and said. "Leave my room."
Kai stared at me for a moment but shrugged with a wink. "Alright, Ri." He said. "But you know where to find me, if your fingers become boring."
My eyes doubled in size and he giggled to himself. "I don't know what-"
"These walls are quiet thin and I only know one Kai." And with that he left the room in silence.
I stayed frozen in a daze and couldn't help touch the thigh that his hand touched. I shook my head and got myself ready.
When I went back downstairs, Kai was there, rereading the newspaper at the island. He would read that newspaper at least three times a week, I could've sworn he knew the paper word by word.
"Hello." I awkwardly said to fill the silence. Kai looked at me, putting down the paper and smiled.
"Hi Ri." He waved, acting as if what just happened didn't happen. I went to fridge to look for food.
"Aren't you sick of reading that thing everyday?" I wondered, nodding to the newspaper. I never read it because Kai always hogged it.
Kai shook his head. "I like the jokes." He paused, laughing slightly. "They make me laugh."
I slowly nodded. "Alright."
"What's for lunch?" He asked me, leaning over the island. "I'm hungry." He pouted, resting his head in his hands.
I arched a brow. "Who's says I'm making lunch?" I wondered, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Me, because I'm the winner." Kai boasted. I scoffed in response and he drummed his fingers against the island. "So hurry up, I'm hungry."
"If I make lunch, you're cleaning up." I told him, looking in the fridge again for something to cook.
Kai huffed. "But I'm a winner and winners don't clean up." He whined, like a child.
I closed the fridge because there was nothing inside and glanced back at him. "Whatever, there's nothing to eat so I'm going to the shop." I left the kitchen and threw on my shoes with Zeke on my back. "I'll be back in a minute."
"Bring pancakes." I heard Kai yell, before I left.
I chuckled and yelled back. "Maybe!"
