"Sometimes, when you are worn down, day after day, relentlessly, with no reprieve for years piled on years, sometimes you lose everything but the ability to cry."

"Where did you and Yoongi hyung disappeared to after the conference ? I didn't see you both later on."Asked Taehyung as he Jimin walked side by side in the hallway.
"Nowhere special, just went to get some fresh air."
"You know it all can get a little suffocating for me."
The younger hummed in reply.
"That's true."
"I don't like these events a lot, too."
"It all just seems fake to me."
"You know what I mean, right ?"
Taehyung turned to look at him for a moment.
And the elder nodded.
"Yeah, I do."
"I definitely do."
It was a silent for a while but than the younger broke it.
"But,hyung ?"
"Yeah ?"
"What exactly is going on between you and Yoongi hyung ?"
"What do you mean what's going on ? Nothing is going on, Taehyung."Replied Jimin.
"No."The younger shook his head.
"Something is surely going on."
Jimin gave him a look.
"And why do you think something is going on ?"
"Because,hyung--"
Jimin hummed.
"You and hyung disappear a lot at midnight. Don't think I haven't noticed."
"And you both smile at each other."
"You guys smile while looking at each other."
"And that never happened in the past."
"So, definitely something is going on between you two."
Jimin shook his head.
"No, you're wrong. So, please stop with it."
The younger shook his head than with a playful smile on his face.
"I refuse--"
Just than Jin walked past them with hurried steps as he stared at the floor.
Both of them stopped in their way.
Their eyes wide open in shock.
"He was crying."Said Jimin but it was more of a statement rather than a question.
Taehyung bit his lips as worries for his hyung filled him.
"Yes."
They looked at each other for a moment and a silent understanding passed through them as they nodded and started following the elder.
★★★★★★★★★
Jin stormed in his room. His hand covering his mouth to stop the loud sobs to escape from his lips.
He remembered how just a few hours ago he refused to cry.
But now even if he didn't want to cry. He just couldn't resist it.
"At first, I just wanted to prove father that I am very much capable of becoming a CEO."
Namjoon's word repeated in his mind. As he covered his ears, than.
Just to stop the voices.
"But I didn't realise it sooner that for it to happen. I would have to sacrifice our time together."
"Please stop."He whispered.
The door to his room opened as Taehyung and Jimin walked in.
"Hyung, are you okay ?"Said the youngest cautiously and tried to approach him.
But Jin immediately backed away.
"Don't touch me."He said and Taehyung paused on his way.
Jimin stepped up.
"We are worried about you,hyung."
And Jin laughed.
"You guys are worried about me ?"
"Oh really ?"
"That's shocking."
"Hyung ?"Muttered Taehyung.
"What happened ?"
"You are scaring us."
"I am scaring you ?"
"Than why the hell you are still here ?"
"Fucking leave."He shouted.
"But---"
Taehyung tried to move near him but Jimin held him back and shook his head.
They looked at their elder hyung with so much concern.
Jin was agonizing. He looked shaky.
And when the next time they made an eye contact with him.
They had to stop themselves from gasping out loud.
Jin's eyes were all puffy and red.
"What are you still doing here ?"
"Leave."He shouted yet again.
He was distressed and his mind all distorted.
Taehyung was about to say something to him.
But Jimin just pulled him out of the room and shut the door of his room.
The younger's eyes were filled with tears.
"Why ?" He asked Jimin.
And the elder sighed.
"I may not know what Jin hyung is going through fully but I can relate with him a little."
"Trust me."
"It's better to give him some space and time."
"But---"
"But we can't just leave him alone like this ?"
"Didn't you see him ?"
"Hyung looked so broken."
"I know."
"I saw it,too." The elder said in pained voice.
"We can't go inside the room but we can wait for him outside the room, right ?"
And the younger nodded immediately.
"Yes,we can."
"We can."
★★★★★★★★
"It hurt me everytime to say no to you for every plan you made for us."
"If it hurt than why did you say no to me,Jeon Namjoon ?" Cried Jin as the anger filled him.
★★★★★★★★
"Joonie, can we go to the beach, today ?"
"I really want to see the sunset and it's been so long that we went there."Said Jin with a big smile.
He was already excited for the drive and the fun they would have there.
But Namjoon just hummed in a non-chalant manner as he looked up from the laptop.
"I don't think it'll be possible,today. Sorry."
"Why don't we go some other, hyung ? I really have to submit it by this evening." He said and gestured to all the work that covering their coffee table.
Jin face fell at his suggestion but he understood it.
So, instead he gave him a beautiful smile and nodded.
"Ofcourse, we can go some other time. Don't worry."
The younger didn't even look up from his file and nodded.
"Thankyou for understanding,hyung."
Jin stared at him for a moment.
Namjoon did look really serious while working.
Maybe it's something really important. He thought.
Jin sighed and shook his head.
"Do you want coffee,Joonie ?"
"Yes,it would be great. Thankyou, hyung."
Namjoon still didn't look up and Jin frowned a little.
But the elder still got up to get some coffee for his husband.
★★★★★★★
"All of this just sound like excuses to me,Jeon Namjoon." He screamed and crashed everything that was on the cabinet near him in anger.
"The guilt and pain was so strong that I started to ignore you just to not say no to you. "
"You are talking about your guilt ?"
"The fucking guilt made you ignore me."
"No."
"It's not because of your guilt."
"It's because you are a coward."He said and kicked the coffee table.
"You are a coward."
"You hear me."
"A coward."
He threw cushions on the ground as he breathed heavily.
★★★★★★★
Taehyung flinched when he heard the sound of objects hitting the ground and Jin's scream from outside.
He was standing a little bit away from the door in the hallway.
While Jimin was sitting on the floor in front of the door as he leaned against the wall. His knees pulled up in front of him.

His face all blank compared to the younger, who was on the verge of crying.
★★★★★★★
Jungkook and Yoongi walked side by side. But they frowned and stopped when Taehyung and Jimin came up in their view.
They walked upto them all concerned.
"What happened ?"Questioned the eldest.
Jimin just shook his head and pointed his chin out forward to gesture towards the familiar room.
And just than they also heard Jin's shout filled with so much frustration.
Suddenly both of them had an idea on what was going on.
Taehyung silently streched his hand forward for Jungkook to take, who readily moved to his side to give some much needed comfort.
And after a particular loud sound from inside. Jimin ducked his head and covered it with his hands.
And Yoongi moved to sit down beside him.
"It's okay. Everything will be fine."He whispered.
And placed younger's head on his shoulder and rubbed his back to give him some comfort.
Taehyung had already turned into Jungkook arms and was crying silently.
"Will he be fine ?" The younger asked.
And Jungkook shook his head.
"I don't know."
"I have no idea."
★★★★★★★
"On the other hand, mother had her own ideas on making you miserable because she thought it was all because of you that I was in that place."
"So, even if I wanted talk to you first. I had to be careful."
"I didn't want her to hurt you."
"You didn't want her to hurt me ?"
"But you do realise that you hurt me so much more."
"So much more than her,Namjoon."
Tears spilled from his eyes as he picked up the glass from the bed side table and threw it on the floor, breaking it into many pieces.
"Bullshit."
"I call it bullshit."
★★★★★★★
Taehyung hugged back Jungkook tightly as the other tried to calm him down.
"It'll be fine,soon."
"Don't cry."
And another crash was heard.
Yoongi sighed as he held Jimin's hand in his.
Hoseok carefully walked into the hallway and quietly leaned against the wall near Jin's room door.
His face blank but his eyes shone with so much worry for his hyung.
Yoongi and he made an eye contact and a silent conversation happened between them.
Hoseok blinked his eyes in an assuring way and Yoongi nodded.
It will be fine. They thought.
They desparately hoped for it.
★★★★★★★
"You reached out to me countless times and I didn't even reach back to you, once."
"But stupid me didn't realise that I was doing so much worse to you than her."
"The goal and position become so important to me that I forgot how important you were to me."
"I started taking you for granted."
"You did."
"You did take me for granted."
"You took me and my love for granted, Namjoon."
★★★★★★★
"What would you like to order ?"
"I would like to--" said Jin and looked up only to frown when he saw Namjoon on the phone.
"Actually we'll order later."
"Sure."The waiter bowed and left.
The elder cleared his throat to get his husband's attention.
And younger's head immediately perked up.
"Sorry." He apologized and placed the phone down on the table.
"No more phone for today please, Namjoon."
"It's our time."
And the other chuckled awkwardly.
"I'll try,Jin."
The elder stared at him for a moment and nodded.
"Good."
"Do you know how long has it been since we even properly talked to each other ?"
"So,I want this night to be just us."
"Yes,and it will be."
"Now,tell me what did you choose from the menu ? "
Jin crossed his hands and his lips formed into a pout.
"You don't remember what I always choose ? "
And Namjoon shook his head with a smile.
"Okay than your regular and I'll take the same."
The younger raised his hand in air for the waiter.
"Excuse me,we are ready to order."
But just than Namjoon's phone buzzed. And Jin held back a sigh.
The other gave him a look of sorry and took his phone.
He read the message as his eyes widened.
"I'm sorry,Jin. Some important work came up."
"I need to leave for the office."
"What ?"
"Can't anybody else handle it ? Is it necessary for you to go ?"
Namjoon frowned.
"I'm the future CEO of the company,Jin. Ofcourse it's important for me to go."
"I am so sorry that our night got ruined."
"Fine."The elder said tiredly.
And honestly he was so tired of Namjoon's action and behaviours.
It hurt him.
"Come on,I'll drop you home on the way." Said the younger and stood up from his chair, placing his phone in the pocket.
But Jin shook his head.
"No need. I can go myself."
"Are you sure ?"
"I am. Don't worry,just go."
"Thankyou for being so understanding,Jin."
The elder just gave a half-hearted nod.
I don't want to be so understanding. He thought and bit his lips.
Namjoon walked upto his side and kissed him on his forehead.
"I'll plan something else like this for us,yeah ?"
"Yeah." Whispered Jin.
If only Namjoon had paid attention. He could have noticed the pain in Jin's voice.
And when the younger walked away.
He took a deep breathe and stared outside the window.
"That's what you said all the times before."
"But you never do,Namjoon."
★★★★★★★
"Yoongi was right, you know."
"The position and power changes you."
"And it did change me slowly but for worse."
"Yes,you changed."
"You are not my Joonie from the past."
"You are not my Joonie." He sobbed.
"Reputation and success started meaning a lot more to me than relationships and family."
"And when I finally made it to my goal. I found myself all alone."
"What else did you expect, huh ?"
"You didn't care about relationships,family."
"You didn't care about me."
"So,what else did you expect ?"
"I couldn't find it in myself to reach to you and you had stopped reaching to me ages ago."
"Do you have any idea on how long I tried to reach you ?"
"How long I told myself that everything will be fine ?"
"How long I waited for you ?"
"How long I waited for my Joonie ? "
"Do you have any fucking idea ?"
"Do you,Jeon Namjoon ?"
"I should have been smart at that time and address our situation. So we could talk it out and be better for each other."
"But no."
"I was a coward. I didn't do anything."
"And continued avoiding you by burying myself in work."
"Yes,you are a coward."
"A coward, who couldn't stand up for himself nor his husband."
"A big fucking coward."
★★★★★★★
"And it's all because of me."
"I happened to us,hyung."
"I."
"Only me."
"I am the only reason we are like this." Said Namjoon.
"Yes, it's all because of you."
"Only you."
"Only you are the reason we are like this."
"I am like this."
"I am not the Jin I was before."
★★★★★★★
"Don't cry."Whispered Yoongi to Jimin when he heard quiet sniffles from the younger.
"How can I not ?"
"He suffered so much,hyung."
"So fucking much."
Yoongi patted his head and hid younger's face in his nape.
"He did."
"He really did."
But in the middle of it all both of them failed to notice that Namjoon was also there standing at the end hallway as his gaze never left the room Jin was in.
★★★★★★★
"Do we even love each other now ?"
Namjoon raised his head and looked at him.
A sigh escaped his lips as he held a tired expression on his face.
"I think we both know the answer to that question, hyung."
Jin fell on his knees as a broken cry escaped his lips.
"Yes."
"Yes."
"We both know the answer to that question, Jeon Namjoon."

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
