Having approached the mirror that you and himself had been looking through the blond stepped back watching the glass shatter and fall to the ground. He figured that even if the others were on the other side that there must've been a way he could send them a message of sorts, something that wouldn't have been possible if not for your current distraction.
Though all that was short lived when footsteps began approaching and the man from befores voice filled the area, "I'll ask you one more time, Fugo." Turning sharply to stare at the brunette, violet hues instantly fell towards the enemy's hand seeing it clutch the back of your collar dragging you against the pathway. "What are you looking for here?"
Watching the man pull you up from the floor just to toss you aside he could only stare in shock at the state you'd been put in. It appeared like you'd been beaten to a pulp and if not for the ragged breaths that left you, he would've assumed you were dead.
"With the time that this one had given you, I'd assume you would've come to your senses." Fugo's gaze switched between the man and where you were, he didn't want your sacrifice to be in vain.
Clenching his jaw and staring up at the man, a newly found hatred burned within the blond. "No. I have no intention of telling you, you sick bastard."
The brunette gave a hum after hearing that, "Very well. There are still two others. I just need the last one standing to tell me." Pointing a finger towards the blond a manic grin spread out across his face, his stand once again manifested preparing to deck Fugo before pausing right before impact. The sound of running filled the area catching both their attention, "Footsteps...someone outside the mirror is running. Does that mean your friends decided to abandon you so that they could go get something?!"
Seeing the puffs of dust kick up from the ground, the man's red hues focused on them. "They're heading towards the dog mosaic, that basically settles it." His gaze then turned back to the blond, "Fugo...you're basically done for already, you and little miss thing over there." Pointing a finger towards you then Fugo he grinned triumphantly. "I'm going to go get whatever that thing is first!" With that the brunette turned on his heel dashing off.

"W-wait, you bastard!" Unable to do anything to stop the enemy his gaze shifted to where you were. A pained groan left his lips as he maneuvered himself towards where you were. A frown quickly etched itself onto his lips as his gaze raked over your face and he hesitantly reached out to brush your hair aside. "God..you're an idiot."
"A really smart, improvitive, idiot." Shifting a bit more he ended up crossing his legs moving to rest your head gently on them. He knew what you did was to buy time, but he couldn't help but feel responsibility that you ended up the way you did. Blood trailed out from the corner of your mouth much like his own and a line even trailed from your nose, patches of red littered the side of your face presumably from getting punched while hand marks began to make an appearance along the skin of your neck.
That guy will pay.
Knowing that there wasn't much he could do in terms of helping you, he just settled for nestling his hand in your hair carefully brushing each strand. Shouts from somewhere in the ruins caught his attention quickly and he turned his head spotting the enemy and a bloodied Abbacchio following right after.
Abbacchio's face and body seemed split down the middle, part of himself being made of his stand. His left hand was also missing, bleeding out onto the cobblestone pathway. "Giorno! Get the hell out of here! Take the key and run!"
"He won't hear you when you're screaming inside the mirror!" Abbacchio's pupils shrunk at that realization, a cuss left his lips as his gaze quickly downturned. He was too busy trying to get the blond outside to take the key and run that he hadn't spotted you or Fugo.
"Now then, there are two possible actions I could take. First is disposing of Giorno after I get the key. Second is slitting Giorno's throat first then safely retrieving the key." Raising a mirror shard into the air as he said that, he stared down at the white haired man almost as though he was in thought. "Let's see...I guess I'll slit Giorno's throat first!"

A pause ensued as the man stared through the mirror shard in hand, "He's noticed me! I'll allow only Giorno to enter!" A manic laugh once again left the man as his stand reached through the mirror first pulling out an arm followed by Giorno's entire body. "I've dragged him in! Slice open his throat, Man in the Mirror!" The yell was cut short as the man's red hues shrunk upon spotting the blond's hand.
"Wh-wh-what?!? H-He's...That's impossible! It's the virus! G-Giorno, he's been infected by Fugo's Purple Haze!" Coming to that quick realization he pulled his stand back, even if that was futile.
"You're not getting the key! And Fugo, (Y/N), Abbacchio, and I will safely return to the others!"
Lurching back away from the infected teen, the enemy clenched his teeth together in anger. "Damn you, you stupid brat! How dare you come in here infected?! Are you out of your damn mind?!" The man's hand began sprouting with hives from the infection Giorno had brought in, and he broke out into a cold sweat. "Now I'm infected, damn it!"
"Ah, yes, you seem to be experiencing the same symptoms as me. Apparently Purple Haze's virus infects your whole body within thirty seconds." Giorno's tone of voice was calm, it was clear that he'd thought about this beforehand. "It's over now. It was over as soon as you dragged me in."
Fugo's gaze tore away from the scene landing on the broken mirror laying on the ground, pieces of it were placed together as though someone was trying to fix it, "Did Giorno put them back together? When the enemy chased after Abbacchio, he took some shards with him. Giorno must've realized that! He then figured out the enemy's ability from that, then infected himself with the virus and allowed himself to be dragged into the mirror! Because there's no other way to defeat the enemy!"
Man in the Mirror's stand user stared at his hand in shock, "Damn it! Of all the underhanded," Glancing down towards a shard of mirror he clenched his jaw. "But don't underestimate me. It's not too late yet. I need more resolve but it's not too late yet!" Pouncing towards the shard resting along the floor he called out for his stand. "Man in the Mirror! Allow only me to leave this mirror!"
A bright light omitted from the piece and the man left leaving only the infected parts of his arm. Both Fugo and Giorno stared at it, expressions both unreadable till Fugo spoke, "Giorno...After you risked your own life to come in here..."
The infected blond kept a calm expression, his tone of voice said that there was something else to his plan. "So...he stepped outside the mirror. I figured he'd go outside. That's for the best, though. He's going down no matter what."
Turquoise hues glowed with determination, "Now that he's stepped outside there's a chance I might survive!"
Turning his attention towards Fugo who'd carefully set your head back down onto the ground to stand up, Giorno added on, "Now that he's outside, Purple Haze can follow him! Finish him off!"
As much as Fugo wanted to finish off the enemy there was something preventing him from doing so, "I can't. I can't tell where he is from inside here. I have no way of attacking him!" A dragging noise caught his attention and his eyes widened catching sight of a brick slowly dragging itself along the pathway.
"I know where he is. Golden Experience, who's outside turned that brick into a snake. That's why it's moving. Snakes can tell where humans are by sensing their body temperature."
Following where the brick was heading Fugo clenched his jaw once more, this guy was dead meat. There was nothing now that could save him from the fate waiting. Absolutely nothing.
"I got him!"
