《Seducing The Male Lead Using A Pure Face》2.11 Ballroom Blitz Pt.2

Turaya could confidently say, although it was a bit mean, that Samone was currently her favorite child. Perhaps it was because Renaut had been a little shit recently or because she had spent more time with Samone in order to educate her (although Etienne was the one in charge of education for the most part) but she liked spending time with Samone much more despite her status as a potential future harem member.
Which may have been why she was observing today's lessons. It was mainly because of reports of Renaut not paying attention in class, even sleeping during them. Everyone knows that kids act a lot better when they think their parents are watching, at least if discipline had been properly been dished out. Speaking of which, she had developed the most effective method for disciplining Renaut recently.
She would ask Diane to send him to her office, have him stand in front of her desk, and she'd practically stare into his soul without saying a single thing. Slowly but surely, Renaut's mask of 'I didn't do anything' would crack and crumble away before he admitted whatever he had did. Before that he'd be sweating up a storm and avoiding any and all eye contact with her. From time to time she'd even throw in a 'Do you know why I called you in here?' to really speed up the process.
She had no idea why it worked so well, but it did. Was she suitably intimidating like a parent waiting in the dark for their child to sneak back into the house? That was the energy she had been going for.
Though back to the matter at hand, Renaut had been getting more and more rebellious in Etienne's classes leading up to the day of the ball Turaya was to be escorted by the fellow vampire. Which was why Turaya was now sitting directly next to Renaut during the current lesson on manners that the blonde woman had requested.
Renaut couldn't have been more embarrassed.
Turaya's back was straight and her hands were folded upon her lap, giving rapt attention to Etienne's class while silently correcting Renaut's posture and giving him 'light' pinches to get him back to paying attention. There had been a couple moments in which Etienne almost burst out laughing at Renaut's wronged expressions but held back because of the stare of death that Turaya would surely give him.

Little Samone was completely out of the loop of the hilarity of the situation, only being able to hear things occurring in the room.
Often times she felt more like a mother than an elder sister.
"Jules, what's our current progress with the tasks?"
[ I'll bring it up right now! ☆⌒(*^-゜)v ]
Jules was back to using emojis again. That was bit of a relief. Ever since the whole breakdown situation she had with him after reading the mission report when they had acted differently, she was worried that something was wrong with them. But Jules was back to being Jules all over again. If that was a good thing or a bad thing, she had no idea.
[ 1. Keep the ML from building a harem. No killing allowed.
2. No drinking blood! You have a human diet.
3. Bring the noble house of Giandim back to its former glory ✔
Secret Tasks
- Find a Secret Character ✔
- Adopt a harem member ✔
- Give the ML tough love ✔ ]
"Wait a second, why isn't the first or second already checked out?"
[ Because the second task lasts until the Host leaves the world! I don't know about the first one though. Technically, the ML isn't old enough to start a harem. (・・;) ]
"Eh, whatever. I can wait."
Class went by in a peaceful manner, although after it ended you could hear Etienne cackling all throughout the manor and a sulking Renaut who closed himself up in his room. Sadly, he was not left alone to be pissy because his System was a loud son-of-a-b-
[ You're so mean to me when I'm just trying to cheer you up. Also, technically your emotions created me, which makes me your son. Which makes you a bitch. Bitch. ]
"I'm going to kill you."
[ You've been saying that for forever. Think of something else to say. GIVE ME VARIETY! ]
"Do you want a descriptive death or something?"
[ Nah. I'm out of here for now. ]

"Wait, you can't just-"
Before Renaut could finish what he was saying he felt a familiar splitting headache render him clutching at his head and laying on the floor. When the pain finally passed he could see an annoyingly familiar pair of shiny shoes. Connected to annoyingly long legs and an annoying System's body.
"Now, that's much better!" The new figure let out a sigh and stretched. A lengthy man with short ebony hair and garnet-like eyes. Defined cheekbones and a natural constant smirk, dressed to the nines in a
God, he wanted to punch him.
"Why the hell do you always come out like that, Cain?!"
"Because watching you suffer after muting me all the time fills me with a sick sense of joy."
The newly materialized Cain, or System 564, had a shit-eating grin on his face as he looked down at his tiny Host. Renaut just wished he wasn't an eleven-year-old anymore so he wasn't being looked down on by this asshole. Then again, he was the perfect height for kicking him in the shin.
"Well, I'm heading out to explore. Catch ya' later, Host."
"Wait! You can't just leave!"
"It's not like I won't come back. I can only sustain this form for a couple of hours." Cain had already made his way over to the door of Renaut's room.
"Someone might see you!"
Cain rolled his eyes. "Only other Systems and Hosts can see me, dummy. There aren't any others here." And out the door he went.
The sweet summer child.
Instantly, Jules felt like something was wrong in the world. Turaya ended up feeling the disturbance as well, not to mention Diane and Berry.
"What was that?" Turaya asked, looking around the office curiously.
[ Ummmmmmmmmmmm. A thing. Berry and I have to leave for a second to go fix it. Sorry about this. (;'д`)ゞ ]
"What do you mean-" Turaya was interrupted by a pain that felt like it was ripping her apart down to her very soul. She fell out of her chair and curled up on the ground, clutching at her stomach. She could faintly hear Diane groaning on the ground nearby as well.
So this was what Jules was apologizing for.
Just when she thought she was going to faint from the pain, it disappeared.
Turaya sat up and looked at Diane. "Are you okay?!"
Diane let out a groan. "I hate when that happens!"
"What was that?"
"Systems seperating from their Host to take on a physical body."
"... They can do that?!" Turaya practically yelled. Diane rubbed at her ears.
"Yeah." Diane stood up. "But it's painful as hell for the Host, so most Systems don't do it unless there's a damn good reason for it."
Diane helped Turaya stand up carefully, as she turned to look at her. "Like what?"
"A Wild System or something is wrong with a world that the Host didn't cause. At least that's what Berry told me."
"What's a Wild System?"
"Systems not under the jurisdiction of that our Systems are. They and their System are free to do whatever, but they usually do have a purpose like other Systems. Apparently they're dangerous to the balance of the worlds and Hosts."
"... That sounds bad."
"And a System being created destroys a world." Diane shrugged. "Then Systems that had been in the world can't access extra data. They just become errors."
"Did you just say errors? Like," Turaya made wild gestures. "an error that discontinues any information in a mission report."
"Yeah, just like that actually. I had something similar happen in one of my worlds. It was weird."
Turaya felt a cold sweat go down her back.
