"I just thought I'd see if you were ok" Draco moved his self backwards onto the wall behind him.
I returned to look into the mirror, I no longer felt as steady as I had done, my image in the mirror began to blur. "God, I think it's time I stop drinking." I rested my hands on the sink below me to try and regain some balance. My hair was falling in my face I needed to tidy it up, I looked over the sink and couldn't see the hair claw I'd been using. "Where have I put my clip?!" I wobbled again on my feet, I clutched hold of the sink.
I heard Draco's footsteps walking towards me, I wanted to turn around but the blurred feeling was stopping me. I could feel him close to me and then I noticed his body leaning towards the ground, there I saw my clip. I must of dropped it when Draco made me jump. In a swift movement he was back on his feet, I locked eyes with for a moment and then he moved slowly to behind me. I watched his reflection in the mirror as he moved his hands up towards my hair, I felt his fingers running through me, his touch was so soft but even in my current state it sent electric through my body. He reached gently and pulled the top half of my hair together, he placed the hair clip into my hair.
He looked for a moment at his work then returned his hands into my hair, pulling all of the remaining pieces of hair behind my ears and ushered my hair to flow down my back. Once he had finished his eyes met mine once more through the mirror.
I could feel the tension rising in the air just like it had when he kissed me in the corridor.

"Are you going to kiss me?" A question I would never have asked if it wasn't for the the liquid courage.
He let out a small chuckle "Not when you're like this Ivy, I'm not Blaise." I turned around to face him, I'm sure the disappointment was covering my face. I really did want him to kiss me and that wasn't the alcohol talking that was all me. His eyes traced over all my facial features, when he landed on my eyes he stopped. "You need to go to bed, c'mon".
He turned around and headed for the door, I followed shortly behind him slightly stumbling as I did. I was very thankful that the girls bathroom was away from the common room and only a few steps away from my room, I really didn't want anyone to see me. I mean how embarrassing!
Soon enough Draco reached my door, I plodded along behind like a toddler who's just learnt to walk. I passed him holding my door open and headed straight for my bed, getting into my pjamas was not going to happen tonight. I threw myself down, the room began to spin. "Urgh I feel awful". I heard Draco's chuckle again from across the room.
"Close your eyes, you'll feel better"
"Mmm ok, night night" with that I closed my eyes and almost immediately began to drift. My breath was deepening and I could feel myself slowly falling but just as I was about to completely fall asleep I felt something press against my forehead. Maybe it was my imagination but I could swear I could smell his cologne. Was it him? And then I was gone.

" oh. My. God." My eyes barely opening from the pounding that was ricocheting around my head. I was suddenly very aware of how dry my mouth was, I tried to move my tongue around and gulp a couple times but nothing worked. "Water..." I reached over to my side where thankfully I had left my water bottle. I twisted round to Pansy who's hair could only be described as when Seamus had an explosion.

"You look...beautiful" I let out a giggle which I immediately regretted as the pain circled around my head. I reached up and grabbed my head as if this would ease the pain.
"Don't." She twisted her body out of bed and placed her feet on the ground. "My head is pounding! I can't believe Draco had to put you to bed!" She burst out laughing! Oh my god the memory burst into my mind, I wanted the world to eat me up. I shoved my head into my hands.
"Oh my god how embarrassing, I bet he thinks I'm an absolute weirdo!" I grabbed my pillow and shoved it over my head.
"Well if he thought that then wouldn't of sat with you until I came back!"
"What?!" My eyes so wide they felt like they could pop out of my head. He stayed with me...
"Yeah, he must of stayed here incase you were sick or something" Pansy shrugged her shoulders.
He stayed with me...I couldn't help but allow the smile to fill my face. He cared about me enough to stay with me. He waited with me to make sure I was ok, he didn't go back out to his friends and have fun. He stayed with me even when I was sound asleep just to make sure that I...was ok.
—
The news of Draco somehow managed to help me get out of bed and get ready, the headache seemed to have subsided and I no longer felt like I could curl into a ball and sleep for a week. I didn't feel like I could stomach breakfast so instead I decided to take a walk.
I reached the lake after what felt like forever, I pulled out my book and perched myself on a large tree stump right by the water.
"What are you reading" I jumped in shock and spun myself around.
"My god Draco you have to stop creeping up on me!"

Fortuna Verto
A girl’s luck changes when her world changes upon itself, sending her back and forth between a world she knows and another that shouldn’t even exist. Working with her parallel self from that other world, the two must adjust to their alternate form when visiting the other’s world, as they search for a way to escape the chains of misfortune they are bound to. While this story is the conclusion of the trilogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, as the world of Celese itself is no longer a place the characters will be journeying through. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for all previous books, in case that matters to anyone. This book has an additional chapter after the final chapter that represents the trilogy conclusion, and should not be read until all three books are read first. Fortuna Verto continues the events of Essentia Animus to advance society into a sci-fi interpretation of Celese, bringing events to a distant world of another star. At the same time, events interpret a real-world advancement into a similar sci-fi age of another planet that shares Earth’s galaxy, a planet that has also been linked by the Celesi Veil. English remains predominant in both worlds of the story, but the presence of both sides makes certain Aethyx terms stand out, while Earth-styled scientific terms will also stand in a powerful contrast. Instrumentation remains an important aspect of the Elemental Era, but the influence of the gift has grown distant after discovering the superiority of the elements. Harnessing the elements had eliminated some of the original limitations of instrumentation, allowing for a self-sustaining focal source that provides solutions to problems such as automation. This turns the development available from the previous modern-day sense of a fantasy to one that is deep-future. Finally, opening access to the passage across the veil will open this progress in comparison to a very similar deep-future parallel world without such fantasy elements, contrasting the laws of physics with the laws of elements in a convergence of time and space.
