A'dream POV

"Kaizer stop running!" I yelled and he laughed. We were walking up and down the street, well he was I was on his back. We were still staying at Miya and Trell house and I been having a good time.

It made me sad to know I was gonna have to go back home soon.

"You can put me down now, you making me nervous doing all dis playin'." I said and he just laughed at me.

"No I like carrying you, you not even heavy." He said and I shook my head. He started walking out the neighborhood and I scrunched up my face.

"Where are we going?" I asked and he didn't answer me. Seeing as we were going to the basketball court I smiled.

"We use to come here all the time." He said and I chuckled.

He put me down going to grab the ball on the ground. He stared at it with the biggest smile on his face.

He use to love to play basketball when he had free time or when he was just stressed and needed to relieve his mind. He was really good too, I think he would've made it very far in his life if his life wasn't how it was.

I watched as he started to play around a little bit. Then he shot the ball and it went in on the first try.

I started clapping and he laughed. I looked around until I seen a notebook lying on the ground with a pencil. I went and picked it up.

It had no name on it and I opened it and nothing was in it but it seemed like pages were ripped out.

I went to sit on the ground starting to see if I could draw Kaizer. As I started I noticed I was doing really good to not have done this in a long time.

I looked at Kai and he winked at me making me laugh.

"Aye lil bitch! Remember when you sat here and lied to me about never putting your hands on me?!" I asked and he laughed.

"I was 10 years old A'dream. Shut up." He said and I shook my head. I seen as a girl stopped walking looking at him.

"Kai." I said and he looked at me then I pointed to her. He looked at her and she smiled so he waved.

She came over to him and they started talking. I was watching them the whole time then he looked back at me. He motioned for me to come over and I got up going over to them.

"You see this is my girlfriend and she carrying my baby. You Ight and all but I ain't gon disrespect her or fuck up like dat. It really ain't worth it." He told the girl and she grew sad.

"Oh ok, I'm sorry. Bye." She mumbled walking away.

"Kai why you lie to dat girl?" I asked.

"What I lie bout?" He asked.

"I'm not your girl." I said.

"You can be, but let's give dat a lil more time." He said and I rolled my eyes walking back to where I was before.

I was low key happy as fuck that I came back down here.

I started drawing again and a tear rolled down my face. Not because I was sad but because I was happy because I was so calm and not worried about anything.

I forgot how drawing was to me. I would've made it far too with this shit if my life wasn't how it was and I didn't drop out of school.

Not like I can't go back though. But hell no school is over and I got kids now and that seems like to much for me to do.

All the sudden I heard Kaizer scream out in pain and I looked up seeing him on the ground holding his foot.

I got up going over to him.

"You ok? What happened?" I asked.

"Twisted my ankle shit hurt so bad." He said.

"Can you stand up?" I asked and he nodded. I helped him up and as soon as he tried to walk he was going to fall back down but I held onto him.

"Damn Kai." I said shaking my head.

"Looks like I have to get on your back." He said and I laughed.

"No, imma help you walk." I said.

"Come on Bruh, I ain't even heavy." He said.

"Uh no, you don't LOOK heavy. But you ARE heavy." I said and he smacked his lips. I seen as tears formed in his eyes and I huffed.

"Fine! Come on Kai!" I yelled and he laughed.

"Getcho ass a lil low." He said.

"That's why you in pain." I mumbled bending down a little bit. I felt as his heavy ass made his way on my back. I stood up slowly adjusting him a little bit.

"Are you ready?" I asked.

"Yes, go head and don't walk slow." He said and I squeezed his ankle and he wrapped his hands around my neck making me laugh.

I started walking and he started pulling my hair.

The annoying shit is what I don't like

"Kaizer I will hurt you. And leave you right here in the street. Stop playing." I said and he laughed.

"Can you go any faster my nigga?" He asked.

"Aye, i ain't getting paid for this. So imma take my sweet precious time." I said and he huffed.

"Dream you ever think we will get married?" He asked catching me off guard

"Kaizer I don't know we not even together." I said.

"Yes we are, so like I said you think we will get married?" He asked and I smiled a little bit.

"I don't know. But I wanna get married when life start actually running smooth. When things get situated and in order. I don't wanna rush. If you thinking about marrying me one day think long and hard bout that. Am I really who you want to spend the rest of yo life wit?" I asked.

"Yeah actually, you been there for me since I was 10. I'm finna be 19 Dream. I remember I use to put you through so much but you still stuck by my side. We done been through so much for so many years. Always push through tho." He said and I smiled.

"I remember the first day we met. Think about if I would have never came out my house? Would we have met? What would our lives have been like if we never met each other?" He questioned.

"You only stuck out to me anyway because you fell off yo bike and nobody helped you." He said and a tear rolled down my face.

"That day, I got a feeling that I had never got or felt before. And it scared me. So I always tried to push you away. If I could I would go back and change the way I treated you. I really would." He said and I put him down.

"I appreciate you if I never told you that before. Without you only god knows." I said and he smiled.

"I love you, Ight? Now let's go." He said wrapping his arm around my shoulder and I wrapped mine around his waist helping him walk.

"Crippled ass bitch." I mumbled with a chuckle.

"Fuck you." He said and I shook my head.

A few moments later we made it back to Miya and Trell house.

"Mama!" I called sitting Kai down on the couch.

"She sleep Dream, what's wrong?" Trell asked.

"Kai twisted his ankle." I said.

"Nigga if you don't get some ice and wrap that bitch up." He said before going back in his room and I rolled my eyes.

I went in the kitchen getting a bag putting some ice in it. I went in the bathroom getting and a bandage leaving out and going over to him.

I put the ice on his ankle and he sighed.

"Dream you gotta go back?" Kai asked and I looked at him. I got out my phone ignoring his question.

He tried to take it but I held it tighter but he snatched it.

"I know you heard my question." He said and I started wrapping his ankle up

"A'dream quit! Just answer me." He said and i sighed.

"Kaizer I really like it down in Florida. But this is still my home. I was born and raised here. Every time I come back I never wanna leave. But I have a new home now." I said.

"Please don't go. Imma be all alone again." He said and I looked at him.

"Come with me." I said with a smile.

"No, stay here." He said.

"Come with me." I said.

"Stay here." He said.

"Come. With. M-"

"Oh both y'all shut the hell up." Trell said coming out his room.

"Come with me." I said.

"A'dream just like you was born and raised her so was I. This is where my family is. I'm not just gon leave." He said.

"Yeah you will." We looked at Trell as he leaned against the wall.

"Lil nigga we gon be Ight. You think you the glue that holds this damn family together? Ah hell nah." He said and we laughed.

"If you wanna go, go. We gon be Ight for sure." He said and Kai looked at me.

"I'll think about it." He said.

"Uh no, Cuz I'm for sure going back. You literally need to make a decision so you can pack." I said.

"He going." Trell said and I smiled.

"Daddy I don't wanna leave y-"

"You. Are. Going. Boy we all grown. We Ight. Focus on yo life. We good swear." He said making Kai sigh.

He was quiet for a moment before laughing.

"Fine, I'll go." He said and I smiled giving him a hug.

"Great, y'all can visit whenever. Keep us updated on the kids and stuff. Y'all be safe and don't kill each other." Trell said.

"I feel like you want us to le-"

"I do, y'all some bad spirits." He said and we laughed.

I looked at Kaizer and he rolled his eyes.

"Irritating." He said and I chuckled.

"Kai come here." Trell said.

"I can't walk." He said pointing to his ankle and he smacked his lips going over to him. He whispered something in his ear and Kai nodded with a smile.

They looked at me making me nervous

"What?" I asked and they shook they heads.

Hopefully shit would go good
