《His Midnight Angel》Chapter 17

(Alexandra's POV)
I returned after training the pack, they were improving considerably. Jack had been my partner the last few days and when we were done he would look at me with those beautiful multicolored eyes of his and smile. We were being civil toward each other, he was being very sweet. It was disgusting. I was the omega of this pack once. Tom and I were all each other had. Tom was doing great, absorbing everything like a sponge.
I headed straight toward my bed. All I could think of was collapsing on its soft surface and melting like butter. But of course there's always something.
"You know you should really go home." I turned around and sighed.
Ashley.
"I will soon enough." I said."But I can't leave until I've finish training this pack, and I can't do that unless I sleep, so leave."
"Ok then do me a favor? Stay away from Michael!" Ashley said in a defiant tone.
Oh hell no!
"Oh? Now why would I do that?" I said tiredly.
"Because he's mine!" Ashley said.
"You didn't wait for him." I said simply because it was true.
"Neither did you!" Ashley said exasperated
"Actually I did." I said truthfully "seriously even the humans were horrible to me. And then I met Michael. We were waiting for you."
"You don't know what it's like."
"Don't know what what is like Ashley?"
"The feeling of being alone yet surrounded by so many people. The feeling of everyone hating you when you did nothing. The feeling of criticism."
She did not just tell that to me. Me of all people.
Suddenly I was in her face. I was two inches from her nose. I was taller than her so.

"Don't." I growled out. "Don't tell me I don't know what it's like.. The feeling of people beating up on you. When you kept your eyes down. The feeling of being rejected simply because I was at the wrong place at the wrong time." It was true. I was alway beat up for doing nothing. I was a shy timid worthless piece of shit.
In her eyes I saw that I had gotten her on that one. The scars that were all over my body was because of Otto, Ashley, and the Alpha. They thought I was worthless. They thought I was a murderer. Simply because I went on a walk with my mom. My chest tightened up at the thought of my mother.
"Ashley I know more about what you are feeling then you know about what your feeling. I went crazy from the pain caused by you! After I left all I felt for three months was pain. It felt like my chest was on fire. You would think that with Jack rejecting me it wouldn't hurt right? Well think agin. "
"That wasn't me!" She said angrily.
"Yes it was because Michael looked like he couldn't even be in the same room as me. He always looked so uncomfortable."
"Wel-"
"Shh" I said suddenly. "Get under the bed and don't move." I said calmly
"No we aren't done talking."
"Ashley if you don't get under the bed I will hurt you and you know I can."
Everyone was out tonight laying waste to the town. Actually they went clubbing and had asked me if I wanted to go but I had to decline. So they shouldn't be back yet. I'm amazed that Ashley didn't go with. Michael was bored so he went with. Jack and Josh went because Jessie was going. There was a knock on the front door.

"Ashley do it now." Ashley who looked really confused got on her hands and knees and slipped under the bed.
I went to answer the door. When I open it I saw two men standing there. They were tall and beefy.
One had on a tan fur coat his dark hair slicked back so it was off his face. He kinda looked like the bad guy in triple x. The other was a big bald guy. He had tattoos going all the way up is arms.
"Alexandra." Said the dark haired one. He had a thick Russian accent. Let's just call them cow one and cow two.
"Yes?" I said
"Hello, I am Ivan and this is Marcus." He said pointing to the bald one.
"How can I help you gentlemen?" I said unsure of what I was supposed to say. Seeing as though they already knew who I was.
"You can start by letting us in."
They were clearly wolves. Judging by there scent anyway.
I opened the door wider and they stepped into the living room.
"We would like to say first off that it is an honor." Said Ivan bowing a little.
I bowed in reply.
"How can I help you boys?" I said.
"We have what you want." He said getting straight to the point.
Suddenly I was all business. I told myself that two men would come with something I needed? That's how you'd say that right. I mean technically it was me who told myself this right? Well a past version.
"I'm listening." I said suddenly serious.
Ivan pulled out a small vile and inside was a gold substance swirling around like liquid.
"I need you to go to a small town in Minnesota. I need you to kill the daughter of the alpha."
"Why would I do that?"
"Because if you don't well we'll kill the warrior before he even remembers who or what he was."
"So in there" I said pointing at the glass vile. " are memories?"
"Yes, you know you are very smart."
"Now why would you think that I would just go off and kill some alpha?"
"Because this alpha's papa did something to our alpha, and he wants revenge."
I didn't know what to do. In that vile were the memories of countless of my past lives.
"How old?" I said dryly.
"14." He said simply. Slowly a plan was starting to form on my head.
"Pack?"
"Tenthousand moons." I actually knew that pack well. I trained them.
"How do you know I won't just injure the girl?"
"Your going to bring us back a vile of her blood."
"Fine but I get to bring one person along." I said. I was determined to get what I needed.
"Ok."
"Alright. I'll do it."
"Good doing business with you."
Idiots
Once they were gone Ashley came out.
"Your gonna kill a 14 year old?!?"
"No you idiot we're gonna stage her death."
"We're?"
"Yup your gonna help me 'kill' a 14 year old." I said with a smirk.

Rise of the First Necromancer
Asrael Nessarat awakes on a sandy dune with a mouthful of sand and nothing but tattered rags in his posession. As the High Magus of the school of Necromancy, he once aspired to prove to the Emperor that magic still held a place in their society. But that day came, passed and inevitably accelerated his kind's downfall. Now; they are hunted, strung up and burned on pyres throughout the Empire by the Emperor's holy Inquisition- an efficient and ruthless army hell-bent on bleeding every last droplet of magic from the lands. With nothing but a mouthful of sand and tattered rags; Asrael is determined to seek the one thing his cold, still heart desires. Vengeance. This story can, at times, get very dark. It is not recommended for the faint of heart. This is not a story of an overtly powerful wizard who can pulverize his enemies from across the world, nor is it in any way, shape or form a joyous tale. We follow Asrael as he and his companions explore and seek to change an unjust world, where kindness and acceptance are exceptions, rather than the rule. If you are looking for a story to inspire hope or joy, this is not it. If you wish to read about likeable, heroic people, turn around. If you wish to see good battle evil, where the cut in between is clear, then this is not for you.
