A/N: Hey guys it's cat so here is chapter 6, So in the next few chapters I am gonna do the confrontation finally, including the long-awaited first glance of Mira and Demetri together. Anyway, I wanted to write a longer chapter before the 26, which is when I officially go back to school but I just have a remote night class. Anyway, in the last chapter, it was revealed that the Volturi are gathering allies and witnesses. Caius seemed intrigued as well with a small sinister smile. Marcus however simply gives a more neutral expression but I could tell from his eyes he seemed a little interested.''But he just doesn't create illusions he can create realistic illusions not of things he has seen or thinks of but whatever someone else could want...Any thought or event you want to relive he could make it happen through his illusions''.I tell them as I do the three ancients go wide-eyed and step slightly forward with interest. Aro has a delighted smile on his face. While caius seems keen on the thought he could relieve more fond memories. Especially of the glory days of when they crushed the Romanians or he leads the hunts for the children of the moon. I glanced at Marcus who had a more solemn yet in his eyes I saw something ...wonder.

I step back slightly and move my hand from playing with my bracelet. I clasp my hands together resisting them in front of me.''Besides that, his other ability is ...''.I begin. Aro and the other two Volturi leads listen intensely. I glance around and see the guard members who had been in the room had been joined by more members .''Is teleportation...''.I say looking back to aro in particular. Once again he was intrigued as were the rest of the Volturi.''He can teleport anywhere he wants he doesn't have to visit it beforehand. He's done it a couple of times when I was watching Mira. I would cover for him that he went hunting or something...Mira and I had him check in with the ones who left the coven which is why we knew where they settle around...''.I told the three masters.

Aro spoke as I went to continue,'' So he could teleport Mira away if needed ''.He asked curiously. I smiled then nodded,'' Yes I know he will before Mira her vision that leads me here we had originally come up with a plan to leave before things intensified. Mira and I were going to get Tiberius to cause a diversion then he was going to teleport us as far as possible then we were going to head to Europe as close as we could to Italy we figured he wouldn't follow us if we were close to you''. Caius furrowed his brow and asked,'' I thought you wouldn't know much about us''. I glanced then confessed,'' We didn't all we learned was you in charge creating rules that Raphael broke and he wouldn't want to be on your radar''.Caius raised both brows in surprise. But seemed pleased that Raphael seemed to be scared of the Volturi.

''Any way that's why I asked if you would...consider...to pardon him. The only crime he is guilty of is well..existing''.I say looking to the three ancients. They look to each other in a silent judgment. Aro and Marcus seem to silently agree however caius seems a little reluctant but finally nods. I feel relieved and feel my body relax a bit then continue,'' I also know he'll help no doubt he should be guarding Mira since I'm gone usually we would trade shift if we needed to go to feed. Raphael thinks Tiberius is loyal which is what he wants him to think he wouldn't know what's coming''.I declare smirking a bit as I think about it.

Aro smile and states,'' Well then... it seems everything is falling into place then...so let's get ready we need to move out but first, we need to gather a few ...friends''.

He beckoned for a guard who was standing nearby,'' Kegan please go to the Quinn at reception to notify Carlisle that we will be coming although I'm sure Alice will already inform him that we are coming''.The guard Kegan was a tall blonde woman with a serious face her eyebrow held a piercing and her ears held a few as well. She wore a grey cloak so she was one of the lower guards but seemed like she was a good fighter. She wore a Black form-fitting t-shirt with high-waisted black jeans but wore black heeled boots that made her appear even taller. Kegan nodded before speeding off out of the throne room. Aro then turned to me,'' Now river dear I would go ready we'll be head to forks but we have a few stops along the way''.

Canada, Toronto deep in the city in an alleyway in a deserted part of town late at night...

A handsome young man laughs chatting to a couple the female is leaning to the young man's body while the female's companion is eyeing the handsome man's appearance. He was stunning it was like he was sculpted by god himself a project that should have never left heaven because he was so beautiful. The man Ethan was with his girlfriend amber at a nightclub when the god-like man approached them. He sat at the bar and stared at them with a simple look and a simple sentence ''Care to come with me...''.He said a small smile on his face.

And that's all it seemed to take...

It only took a second for both to follow him and now they were far away from the club walking down a quiet alleyway for privacy. The two unaware that the handsome young man had other plans besides hooking up. While they were walking they switched positions several times laughing and flirting with each other whispering things into each other's ears. Amber was currently latched on to the man's arm giggling and kissing his cheek whisperer about what she wanted to do ...what she wanted him to do...etc etc...

The three slipped into a dead-end alley where they could be alone. Amber the pretty 22-year-old pulled the handsome young man closer. As Ethan began kissing one side of her neck...while the young man began to kiss amber on the other side of her neck. Which made her squeal with delight. He stopped briefly turning to Ethan smiling grabbing him and bringing him closer Before he continued to kiss amber neck ..Ethan was so caught up he didn't realize when amber stopped giggling. After a moment he seemed to come out of his daze and glanced to his girlfriend who was making odd noises any giggle or moans of delight were now groans of pain. His eyes go wide as backs away,'' What the-''.He begins to say before...he saw the handsome young man. Pull himself from amber's neck blood dripping from his lips blood-red eyes his eyes had been almost black which seemed strange with his blonde hair which was this perfect blonde color. When they first met in the club. But now they were an unearthly blood-red color. It made Ethan shiver with fear. Horror crossed Ethan's face as he let out a scream and began to run away towards the entrance of the alley. But the stranger that Ethan had desired a few moments was before in front of him. He had run in front of him with an inhuman speed. All in a matter of seconds.''Going so soon ''.Ethan heard the man say in a sinister tone.

The young man smiled at his prey,'' I never properly introduced myself I'm Gil ...and I'm sorry to disappoint you but as much as I'd like to I'm afraid we won't be hooking up... right guys!?''.He turned his head upward. Ethan was terrified and confused when he did this but the confusion disappeared and just turned to pure terror as four other people jumped down with the same inhuman sped. Two appeared to be a couple a man who appears to be in his 40s while the woman was a woman who appears to be in her 30s. Both inhumanly beautiful just like the man that Ethan had met. The man was beautiful in a more rugged way he had long hair with a bit of grey that was parted into a half bun on top of his head however he let a bit of his long hair hanging on his shoulders. He had a beard with bits of grey in it. His eyes were a bright gold color they were much more appealing than the bright red. He was rather tall appearing to be around 6'1 and well build with a reasonable amount of muscle. The woman on the other hand short she appeared to be around 5'5 inches tall with curves.

She was breathtaking she had long dark hair and porcelain skin she looked polished input together with an elegant dress with fine jewelry on while her partner seemed to go for a more casual look of jeans and a t-shirt however he dressed it up with a nice black coat and knitted scarf. Her eyes however were a dark red her eyes focused on him. She had a primal hunger in her eyes but her body seemed to be locked in a controlled position. The man Gil glanced back at the female before saying,'' here Anne you can finish this one off''.He told the dark-haired woman who sped up to him before taking amber from his arms. The woman Anne after grabbing amber speeding back to her partner. The woman bites into an amber neck while holding her gently. Amber much to Ethan's horror seems to still be alive her face morphs to one of pain she doesn't scream but lets out a small squeak of discomfort. Which stops her body turns still.

Ethan's eyes looked frantically around to see the other people are another man who appeared to be of Asian descent. He was beautiful just like the others he had perfect inhuman features including unusual pale skin. That had no blemishes on it. His eyes like the other man were a gold color. They were bright as well like the man they were like a pool of liquid gold that one would love to swim in. His face was one of regret and almost seemed apologetic he leaned against the wall of the alleyway staring at him before turning his face away trying to focus on something else. The man Gil seemed to notice as he glanced back before chuckling,'' You sure you don't want any Henry ?'', He said referring to the man Ethan had been staring at. Henry rolled his eyes then turned to glare at Gil. He didn't say anything just glared with an annoyed expression as he crossed his arms. Gil rolled his blood-red eyes before turning back in a predatory manner towards Ethan. Gil was still very hungry as sped up to Ethan grabbing him by the throat before throwing him against the wall of the alley. Ethan gasped from pain which Gil chuckled.

The other gold-eyed man who was standing by Anne's side barked at Gil''Stop playing with your food Gil''.He said annoyed. Gil glanced to his older coven mate,'' Whatever ...Alden I'm just having a bit of fun ''.Gil tells the other gold-eyed man Alden casually, while he shrugs his shoulders. Gil loved to tease his prey but realized his coven mate was right. Gil turned to Ethan who tried to struggle but Gil looked into his eyes and shushed him,'' Shh now Ethan calm down don't move, and just accept your fate''.

Ethan's body goes limp and his eyes fog over. Gil smiles and tilts Ethan's head to the side exposing his neck before he bites deep into his neck. Gil tastes Ethan's blood it soothes his aching throat.

Soon the human Ethan was nearly drained Gil pulled back. Letting a satisfied noise from his throat his slightly sinister smile turned to one of warmth when he looked to the youngest member of the coven.Margo.Margo was a petite young vampire who appeared to be no younger than 15 years old. Gil looked fondly to the smallest member of his coven,'' Hey mar mar you can have the rest''.The youngest Margo was in the corner of the alley quietly observing the whole scene that had unfolded in front of her. The young girl gave a shy but sweet smile before warmly saying to Gil''Okay Gil thank you''.Before speeding next to Gil she very short and petite so it made her appear possibly even younger than 16 which her actual age however was technically now 17. Margo whispered an apology to Ethan before she bit into the other side of his neck finishing off the young man.[Song 2 ]

Once she was done and pulled away Gil grabbed Ethan's now lifeless body and tossed it down next to the body of amber who Anne had finished off. Leaving her body gently on the ground of the alleyway. Gil wrapped his arm around Margo's shoulder pulling her close for a brotherly hug. Gently placing a kiss on top of her head. Margo stared up at Gil in a warm manner. They had developed a very strong relationship. Gil had been the newest member of their coven. So he still was a bit of a wild card however his relationship with the youngest member Margo changed him. She was the little sister he never had. He became very protective of her. Eventually, he learned to appreciate the other members of his adopted family and coven. Though they had their disagreement they still loved each other.

Henry pulled himself off the wall and moved to the other side of Gil placing a gentle hand on his adopted brother's shoulder. Gil smiled at Henry though they disagreed and Henry was relentlessly teased by Gil for his choice to remain almost exclusively on an animal diet. They still both cared for one another. Anne wrapped her arm around Alden her mate and leaned her head against his chest. Which he happily accepted snuggling into his beloved.

Suddenly the smile had appeared on Gil's face while he glanced at his family stopped. His face snapped to the entrance of the alley as he smelled the air. His family soon did the same smelling the air. Though they were relieved it wasn't human. The smell of another vampire no... makes that several vampires...The coven all go into a defensive attack position stance ready to defend themselves or grab the corpses and run.

Margo perked up as she smelled the air again as she quietly spoke,'' Riv ?''.She said it in an almost questioning manner. The other four members tilted their heads then smelled the air again before they dropped their defensive stance. At the entrance of the alley appeared their old friend and former coven mate river. Who they were delighted to see.

River walked down the alleyway dressed formally in a beautiful black cloak and a well-tailored outfit. Their short hair styled a smile on their face and they seemed at ease. As river walked up the coven's eyes go to the visible v-shaped crest necklace around their neck. A small smile formed on their face as their eyes went to the youngest member of the Rafferty coven.''Mar Mar ''.River says with an excited expression on their face. She speeds up to Margo who jumped into river's arms,'' River!''.She wrapped her arms around her old friend giving her a tight squeeze. Before she withdrew from the hug smiling while taking in her friends' new appearance. Alden was the one to speak first while gesturing to river's new wardrobe.''Um clearly you're doing well?'', Alden began prompting him to wave a hand over river's outfit. River raised an eyebrow before glancing down then chuckling,'' Oh yeah this well a lot of crazy stuff has happened since I left Raphael''.River began. Margo, Alden, and Henry go wide-eyed while Anne and Gil ... are quiet and stand-off to the side observing...

River raises a hand so they can continue speaking as they see that their three old friends have questions.'' Anyway, Mira sent me away she saw that action needed to be taken so I left and went as she instructed ...to the Volturi''.River said with a more serious expression. River sees that the three of them tense. Raphael hadn't specifically talked about the Volturi but once Margo, Alden, and Henry left they learned more about them as well as the laws more in-depth ...They had just been told to clean up after each feeding and doing get caught. Once they left they learned the true vampire history...including the laws.And that their very existence was a crime...it was forbidden for vampires to create armies. And so any vampires created by them were crimes themselves.No matter how innocent the newborn was it still was meant to be destroyed.

This is why the three vampires were terrified they had learned the law but they still feared being punished for...existing.River examined their friends' faces and could see the concern ...heck the downright terror.''Shh, it's okay relax I went to them. Mira saw that they wouldn't be trouble. They are going to take care of Raphael once and for all ...you won't have to hide from him anymore.''River told her old friends. Alden was the first to react his face contorted to one of interest he then said,'' Go on''.Margo and Henry nodded in agreement. While Anne and Gil just looked on interest. River smirked then told them,'' Well after I went to the Volturi admittedly they were a little...unsure...however once I showed them...showed aro the one who can read any thought with the touch of his hand. He saw what Raphael had done and so aro along with the rest of the Volturi including caius and Marcus agreed with something needed to be done''.
