River finished partially telling their story. Before pausing then explaining to Felix,'' Anyway that most of it...if you don't mind I think it best to leave it there for now''.River faintly smiled towards Felix. Felix had originally smiled when river was first explaining their story but that soon dropped to a sorrowful expression. Felix looks at river before softly saying,'' I'm sorry river''.River glanced over with a sad expression then the pout turns to a small smile as river say,'' Thanks Felix ''.River simply said.

Awkwardly twiddling their fingers river then sighed then seemed to snap to a more peppy demeanor,'' Ugh anyway we can talk about that another time no more sad talk!''.River jumps up startles Felix with their change of behavior his eyebrows raised. River walks up to Felix stating,'' We need to focus on stopping Raphael and destroying the newborns ...I've seen first hand what they both can do. Any Mira is in danger ...we have to make sure she is safe''.River's smile turns to a more stern-serious expression. Felix looks at river nodding slowly listening to what they just said. River cocks an eyebrow realizing Felix was giving them a strange expression,'' What?!''.River asks. Felix looks at river then bluntly says,'' Your a little umm..different but um I like it''.River deadpans before smiling then hardly laughs nodding ''Um yeah I've always been different ...but being different isn't a bad thing''.Felix's strange looks fall to a more neutral expression with a faint smile on his lips.

''Anyway, we need a game plan...to save Mira and kick some newborn ass''.River says with a Confident smile..

Demetri's pov :

After Felix and river left the room master aro started discussing a plan on what to do about the newborns. He wanted to ensure that not just the newborn problem was eradicated but the creator Raphael was dangerous every second Mira was there the more in danger she was. Besides that, the main focus was Mira I need to make sure she was the main priority. I didn't want to risk her getting hurt. I was standing off to the side lost in thought. Aro beckoned for me to come closer. I did moving to stand by him he places a hand on my shoulder,'' Demetri ahh we were just discussing what to do...we will leave a few a lower guard here to guard Volterra but the three of us plus the higher guard will go jane, alec, Santiago, Felix, yourself, and our newest member river. I have already decided to assign river as Mira's official bodyguard someone with Mira's gift will have to closely guard''.He began I nodded in approval though I would hate for her to feel like a prisoner if it keeps her safe then I was willing to do anything. Aro continued,'' River will grab Mira when we get the opportunity we will go into more specifics on the way there''.Aro then removes his hand from my shoulder then clasps his hands together,'' Wonderful...It looks like we need need to inform the Cullens soon ''.

Caius seems annoyed when aro mentions the Cullens but nods in approval. Marcus turns to me with a gentle look on his face he places a gentle expression for he softly states,'' We will dispose of the newborns and make sure Mira safely comes back to Volterra ''.I nod I try to keep a calm expression on my face but I feel concerned to begin to fill my cold unbeating heart. But my masters seem to see right through it.

Aro frowns the sympathetically places his hand on my other shoulder.''We will succeed Demetri ...we always do''.

Demetri nods replying,'' Yes master ''.but he was thinking,'' I hope so''.

Aro's pov:

''Why don't you go talk to river and discuss the plan. Plus it won't hurt to get to know them a little more''.I say to Demetri I crack a smile trying to reassure him.

Demetri sighs more to himself then nods before leaving the room. As he leaves aro has a look as if he went into deep thought. He mutters something to himself which makes Caius raises an eyebrow and gives him a strange look. Aro turns to Caius and Marcus before saying.

''River...That poor dear young one''.Aro says. Caius and Marcus but look at aro for him to explain. Referring and discussing what he saw in their mind to Caius and Marcus.Aro sadly looks towards his brothers as he describes what he saw.

When aro first looked into river's mind the first image he saw was her memories as a baby which fades into her childhood. All of the times river's parents were cruel to them...Enter a vision...

''Shut up you little bitch !''.An Image of river's mother a sickly thin woman who looked like she smoked a pack of cigarettes a day. She had Blonde hair (Poorly dyed) with her brown roots peeking through which was piled up on top of her head with mud brown eyes glaring at the four-year-old river who was wearing oversized clothes clearly hammy downs. River's mother flicks her cigarette at her before the vision fades.

Another of a man storming into river's bedroom after river ran in ''How the hell did you know that! Who told you...''.The man yelled who aro assumed was river's father but quickly determined he was one of river's mothers' boyfriend. He goes to strike before the vision fades...

Into a memory of River as a teenager in front of a mirror. Aro was surprised to see them with long hair which fades to a memory of river cutting their hair the sound of scissors snipping away until a slightly longer version of river's hair cut which is more of a pixie cut. A smile on their face they are wearing an oversized baggy shirt and a flannel. Form-fitting pants and combat boots on their feet. Vision fade to an 18-year-old river ,who is frantically packing their stuff. Stuffing the only belonging they had in the world into two bags. The next thing river is doing is running which they've done a lot of ...Aro thinks to himself as he read this memory.

''Come back you little whore where the fuck is my money!!''.Aro could hear river's mother yelling from inside river's former childhood home which was a small trailer. River had jumped out of the window of their room, fleeing the home they despised. River begins to smile as they run away...River laughs as they try to catch their breath.As river laugh fades into the next vison which is a panicked river running down an alleyway the alleyway that Raphael found them in. River had been at the wrong place at the wrong time ...memory fades to a terrified river crawling away from Raphael...aro winces as he recalls river's screams for his to stop.

River's eyes were a bit blurry from tears starting to well up. Boom boom boom river heartbeat increased as sweat they felt their forehead begin to sweat. Aro could practically feel how scared river was. Aro felt pity for river. He knew every thought river thought of, as Raphael approached them. They truly believed they were going to die.''Oh god please let this be a dream please ''.River thought as Raphael approached them in a menacing way. River still was slightly disorientated from being flung into the wall.

River frantically tried to look but their vision was still off.''Who...who's there...please I don't have much money just take it and go!''.River croaked out, they felt tears fall down their cheeks as they tried and failed to get up. They felt someone with inhuman strength push them with ease.''Tsk tsk, I'm not after money young one as appealing as your blood smells I think I could get some use out of you''.River heard a voice began. As river's vision returned they looked around until a man...no, not a man river felt this person was more than what they appeared to be. River scanned over the man until they looked into his eyes ...they were blood red. Aro realized this was Raphael who he had only seen a bit of through river's memories. But now he could see him up close. He was a tall slender man with black hair that curled he appeared to be of Spanish descent. Aro heard a slight accent in his voice ...Texan perhaps. There was a southern drawl there.

Aro could feel river's fear as this realization that Raphael... that this man in front of them was not human.

River gasped then felt their body begin to tremble.''Your..not human ...your eyes your not human''.River exclaimed causing a brow to raise on the man but then he smiled then looked at river curiously then said,'' Well that settles it you definitely will do...''.The man smiled a little bigger as he crept closer,'' Hi by the way I'm Raphael ...and warning this is gonna hurt ...well a ton''.He says with a now more sinister smile. River screams as Raphael ran up grabbing river before harshly biting down. Aro saw what river was thinking and feels as they were bitten. The agony of the bite...the first bite.

Raphael bit river five times once on the neck then the shoulder...the hand, wrist then lastly and most cruel of all, he bit river on the side of their face between their neck and jaw. River endured the full agony of being turned. The venom surged through their veins. Memory fades into a newborn river the thirst was unbearable to them. They tossed trashcans around breaking whatever they could get their hands on. A frustrated river screams out.'What am I ...what did you do! You made me a monster...a monster''.They shouted out, the venom biling up in their throat. Aro felt a sadness take over him mainly caused by reading the thoughts river had experienced. Grief... complete devastation that the life they knew before which included their humanity.Was gone taken River's mood turned to anger as they turn to face Raphael who all the while looked on mild amusement yet his eyes held the same curiosity.

The vision fades into the last bits of memory he pried through before he came to the message Mira wanted him to see was ...well Mira herself...and river. How they grew to become allies first then friends. They had somethings in common like similar tastes in music and literature. They were both fans of Shakespeare and Poe. And liked similar tastes in music as well as a disdain for most modern music like mainstream pop. Aro thought fondly of this friendship it reminded him a bit of his old friend...Carlisle.

A memory of Mira and river laughing in the hideaway Raphael had made for Mira to keep her away from the other newborns.'' Omg...that's so dumb why do people think that's funny''.River laughed poking fun at some funny memes. Aro was a little puzzled about what a meme was though he put two and two together. He became quite amused and decided to mentally note that river needs to explain what a meme was in greater detail and show him. memory fades ...

*Memories end*

Aro tells what he saw to his brothers who look on with similar emotions. Marcus had a sad expression though he had smiled a bit when aro went on to describe river and Mira's friendship. But he was mostly sad for poor river. They had lead such a tragic life which made him glad that they had found happiness with Mira and also decided to join the Volturi. Caius on the other hand was furious when he heard what happened to river. Even though a little while ago he was fully prepared to kill them. Now hearing a bit off their life he felt something he rarely felt...Pity.Though he had occasionally found himself enjoying the suffering of others he found himself pitying Them.

River didn't seem to deserve harm...Aro perked up as he spoke next,'' As I was telling you about river's memories I experienced I remembered something important''.Aro said the last part with a serious tone. Caius and Marcus looked on with interest Caius spoke,'' Then what would that be brother''.Aro looked on with concern with a faint smile crossed his lips,'' Well ...it looks like...we will be needing to contact the Cullens''.

Meanwhile back in America...

Mira's pov:

Raphael roars with rage he kicked some of the nearby trash cans. He was furious I had told him river went hunting but as a day turned to two he figured out that river decided to run off. He was so furious he took his anger out on two of the newborns. He's mainly annoyed because now he has to rush his plans. His main objective is to take over the land his main goal was territory however his mate Selena was killed by a rival maria who has created newborns in the past for territory. River uses to watch me mostly to keep me from running away even though river and I are friends they mainly did it so I was safe in case any newborns came after me. Raphael screams,'' That traitor how could they leave ....''.Raphael then pauses before looking at me with a sinister expression. He sped up to me,'' Where are they look I want to know where they went ''.I stare up at him in horror,'' I um...I can't ...''.I begin. I froze as I see a vision. Raphael seems to notice,'' What is it what do you see''.He demands. I stare in disbelief then faintly smile to him before speaking,'' River is in a field in forks Washington by the Cullen coven ...she ...''.I pause before continue gulping slightly,'' And you are there with the army''.

Raphael stares deadpanned before he bursts out laughing and smiling,'' Ahh so it looks like we will start in forks instead''.He clasps his hands together in an excited manner,'' First the Cullens then I'll go on from coven to coven then lastly once I'm all-powerful ...the Volturi ''.He says with a chuckle when he says the last part. Raphael's back is facing away from Raphael so he can't see as I see more. The vision progresses and I see the events in full. I keep my face neutral and simply reply,'' Right...master all will go as I've seen''.

freya mavor because she has more pictures and gifs plus her expressions are great.Don't know why I didn't think about freya sooner.I think when I was creating mira I thought of freya as well as samara weaving but freya has a longer list of projects she's been in.Kathryn reminds me of a young freya .I love freya mainly because of her freckles.What ya think?
