(She doesn't have the hair)
"The Italians call them Strega. The Yoruba in west Africa call the Aje, meaning mother. Where my mother was from, they called them Hexa, and here we call them witch. Over the centuries, vampires have fought them and fought beside them, bedded then and burned them. Whether adversary or ally, they have been a force to be reckoned with. Their ancestral magic anchors this city. There's never been one all-powerful witch until Phoenix and now Davina." Elijah said as him, me, Hayley, and Nik sit in a room at the abattoir.
"Who is now tucked in safe and sound down the hall under my protection." Nik said as he walks in the room. He points to the drawing of Elijah's ex, Celeste. "Your Celeste was quite beautiful and a portent of evil according to our volatile artist in residence."
"Yes. Perhaps Davina's mistaken what she calls evil for power. Celeste was certainly powerful in her day, but she's been dead for 200 years I don't understand why all these sketches now." Elijah said as he sit on a couch.
"Why does any witch do anything?" Nik said and took a seat beside me.
"What if she is still alive?" I said making Elijah look at me. "I mean, Nik killed you guy's mother and yet she was able to come back to life. What if this Celeste did the same thing or something similar to Esther saving her body." I said.
"You might be right, but we can never know unless she show signs." Elijah said.
We turned our heads to the stairs as we hear something break against a wall. "Well, that's going well." Nik said.
"If poisoning her best friend or her love interest was your idea of getting her on your side then we need to have a serious talk." I said.

"Oh. Are there any more inopportune deaths you'd like to wave in my face?" Nik asked sarcastically.
"Give me a month. I'll get you a list." Elijah said looking at him. Nik chuckles at the comment but me, I was laughing hard. I didn't even pay attention when Nik pushed me off the chair.
Another crash was heard from upstairs. "Young, old, dead, or alive, witches are a pain in the ass." Nik said then he got up to go see what was going on upstairs.
I took Angel out the bassinet that was in the room and went to go in a private room when everything around me started to shake. Everything started to fall and I rushed to the open area of the abattoir in case the ceiling collapse on top of me and Angel.
~~~
Elijah has returned with Sophie so he can her what is going on and to why she stolen Celeste remains. "So you have stolen the remains of the very person that Davina's been drawing for months. Would you care to explain this startling coincidence?" Elijah asked Sophie as she stands in the center of the room.
Sophie looks down at the drawing. "I can't. I didn't even know who Celeste Dubois was until I—" Sophie got cut off by Davina screaming and then everything started to shake again. I held Angel close to me so nothing could fall on top of her and the three siblings just sit there and wait it out like it was the most normal thing that happens here. "Was that Davina?" Sophie asked.
"Charming little habit she's developed." Nik said from the mini bar he was sitting at while he hold his drink in his hand.
"And the earthquake I felt today?" Sophie asked.
"Also Davina." I said.
"And she's taken to vomiting dirt." Rebekah said.
"Oh. We have a huge problem. I thought that we had more time, but we need to complete the Harvest now." Sophie said.
At this point we might have to complete it. I don't want the 16 year to die but if we don't do anything then she'll die anyway and so will everyone in this city.
"Said the desperate witch conveniently." Nik said then took a sip of his drink.
"I'm serious. That earthquake you just felt— a preview of the disaster movie that is about to hit us." Sophie said.
"Why should we believe you?" Elijah asked her.
Sophie looks at Elijah frustratedly then she turns her attention to me. "Phoenix, you know more about this ritual than everyone. You also know the consequences when it's not finished." She said making everyone turn their attention to me.
"We all met Davina and learned of her story, since she was rescued she has been holding onto all the power of the 3 girls that was sacrificed in the Harvest ritual. All that power was suppose to flow through each girl, when it gets to the fourth, the power flows through the earth. Davina can't contain her power while also containing the power of 3 girls. It will start to tear her apart from the inside. And I'm sad to say this, but if she stays alive she'll take down every mortal being with her." I said and everyone had a look of distress on their face. "There is four stages that represent the elements and those elements are bound to the Harvest. Right now, we just faced the earth stage, next is wind, then it's water, and finally fire. Every stage will get worst than the last but since fire is the last element it will be the worst one yet." I said. Nik left to tell Father Kieran what is going on and Rebekah left to tell Davina what is happening to her. That just leaves me with Sophie, Elijah, and Marcel. "I don't know why this group of elders would lie about how the Harvest girls were suppose to die but they weren't lying about how they get resurrected."
"Can you fix her?" Marcel asked me.
"Marcel she can't be saved. She was suppose to die and then resurrect back to life." I told him but he still didn't look convinced.
"This will not stop at the earth sign, and if you wait it out, you immortals will be the only ones to argue about it." Sophie said.
Strong wind was heard from outside. The doors to the windows started to swing back and forth as they bang against the abattoir. This kept going for a while before everything started to calm down.
"Convinced now?" Sophie asked them.
Rage: Crisis / Consequence / ???
Its been ten years since Seth was given his powers, ten years since his town was driven mad by that very same power, and ten years since its source was shunted into his head. A species of energy beings, a people filled with regret for what their entrance onto this world caused. Regret for the deaths that town perpetuated, the devastation they brought, the blow they served to the once proud heroes of this world. Heroes Seth now hopes to join, hopes to heal and atone to for what transpired. But their wounds run deep, their ire sharp, and their acceptance thin. And to top it all off... Seth's power is run far deeper than he knows, and sees his world in a light all its own. This series is my first foray into authoring, with two parts out of at best four if the readership stands. But part three will still book end nicely otherwise. And I'm not stopping till then. It is action heavy with varied and ramping up fight scenes through out. (Book 1 is heavy / Book 2 a little lighter) It is bloody in places, mildly gory in others, and heavily gory in simulated places. Nothing truly horrifying, I think, but be warned. It has trauma. PTSD is a major part of the story, but I will never trust that I got it completely right, so your mileage may vary on how believable or impactful it is. Lastly it has language. Swearing ebbs and flows as the story progresses and attitudes harden or soften. Sometimes bleeding through into the narration... somehow.
