"yoongi, hello!"
upon seeing hoseok just breathing in front of him, well on a screen, yoongi felt his nerves lift a little.
even though it was almost 4am on a thursday night, hoseok still managed to look amazing, his melanin skin practically glowing under a small lamp.
"hey hoseok."
"holy shit your voice is so deep i was not expecting that at all." a nervous giggle surpasses the brunette's lips and yoongi ponders why.
yoongi barely manages to return the giggle but he succeeds in the end, allowing the small amount of sound leave his body. "my voice is very deep i know."
"it's hot though." hoseok winks before continuing, "you still haven't given me a reason for wanting to skype so late, what's on your mind?" hoseok asks as he leaning his phone against something to help steady it as he spoke.
"uh, i just wanted to see you in person? you're on my mind all the time." sarcastically, yoongi replies, "but in all seriousness, i was kinda lonely."
"well i'm blessed that you decided to skype me! i will keep you company all night if i have to."
and hoseok did.
two hours had passed and they were some of the best yoongi had ever spent. coming up with the idea of skyping hoseok was a really good idea, after all it really beat sitting around in his room until all hours with bad thoughts circulating in his head.
"hey yoongi?"
"yeah?"
"you know when we spoke about like, mental states 'n stuff?"
yoongi tilted his head slightly, "of course i remember, what about it?"
"well- i finally decided to talk to one of my close friends about it and i think i might be able to get some help for it!"

yoongi felt his heart swell, he was so indescribably proud of hoseok, he knew how difficult it was to open up about things and it was an even bigger step to reach out for help, "hobi! i'm so proud of you, really, i am." yoongi had to whisper-shout his congrats as his parents were sleeping but the enthusiasm shone through nonetheless.
"thank you hyung, i was so nervous but it felt like so much was taken off my shoulders y'know. have you spoke to anyone?"
"well, i told a close friend but i doubt i could get help elsewhere, i mean it can cost a lot."
hoseok thinks for a moment before speaking, "yoongi, i have this friend who is a psychiatrist! his name is namjoon and he works at a local hospital here in seoul and i've already brought the idea up of maybe you coming down here to talk to him? i mean me and my friend will pay for your ticket!"
"hoseok- i don't know, i appreciate the offer but i don't want you to pay i'd feel awful taking your money-"
"yoongi! i want to help, you really are an amazing person and i want to help you in your challenge to see the world in a better light, at least come down here and meet namjoon! he's seriously sweet and he's willing to help you out, free of charge."
the black haired male felt tears well up in his eyes, he was overwhelmed, truly amazed as to the fact that someone who he had befriended on the internet wanted to help him even in his current state.
"how could i repay you for all the things you're doing for me?"
"take me on a date once you arrive in seoul."

"hey uh, this is weird but does taehyung ever mention someone called seokjin or jin?"
hoseok scratched his head to recollect any memory of taehyung mentioning a seokjin or jin.
"yeah! he does all the time, they're like internet fuck buddies or something. kidding! taehyung talks about this so-called handsome god of a man."
"you don't mind if i bring a friend to seoul do you? i'll pay for him don't worry."
"no of course it's fine! is your friend seokjin perhaps?"
"obviously, let me tell him this news, he does so many great things for me i need to do something good for him

There will also be more stuff to do come the month of December to the point that I don't think I will have a chance to finish the current story arc on a strong note. So, as of today, I will be going on hiatus until the holidays are over. I will hopefully return with the last few chapters of book 2 as well as the DLC chapters to help clarify Titus and Priscilla's powers as well as a look into their lives before the story gets crazy (maybe 6-7 chapters). These chapters are planned to take place in the day between Chapter 1.4 & Chapter 1.5, detailing the day they had before going to Nivandor. How the DLC chapters will be titled is to be decided. The DLC chapters will be posted here free as usual. Really excited to get a break so I can catch up on chapters. Even more excited to be able to start book 3 once the current story arc is finished. The Order
The Order takes place within the Human-led Empire, within Glory City. In this Empire in which Magic is policed and its use is regulated, Mages are required to have a licence in order to practice Magic. The Magically inclined, Non-Human Races that have lived under Human rule lived a markedly different life to Humans, which had led to a somewhat contentious relationship. A law enforcement agency known as The Order is responsible for maintaining Magical order, and is also responsible for doling out justice to those who break the law. Consisting of the Magic using Mages, and the more technologically inclined Knights, these Agents are regarded as protectors by some, but as oppressors by many. The tale follows the exploits of Izano Zuko, a mysterious man, covered from head to toe in burn scars and wrapped in bandages. He arrives in Glory City with the backing of the City Lord, unknown abilities and secret intentions. Trouble starts up almost as soon as he arrives, and Zuko is thrown into a conflict between the Order and an unknown enemy. This is a complete book, and I plan to upload a chapter every week or so. No cover as yet.
