《Free》Chapter 2: Milk Delivery part II

A large entrance of a cave appeared leading into the darkness of the mountain. He slowly walked in.
He was laughing. ''You're coming in, right?'' he asked inside of the mountain.
I quietly drew out my second sword, but not as if he's going to hear anything while the rocks are falling.
I quickly jumped in, to slice off his throat, surely he wouldn't expect this attack. When I went in for the attack, I attacked with my sword horizontally, I didn't see or feel anything, it was pure darkness.
Suddenly, a flash of light spread out across the cave. He made light. He was standing on some kind of platform sticking out from the wall. There were multiple of those, and the cave was long and deep.
"NOW TAKE THIS" he screamed and threw rocks at me.
I made my self ready with my swords, to slice the snakes that would eventually switch places with the rocks.
Little did I know there were huge boulders coming my way, I quickly jumped to the side. A second slower and I would have been done for.
He repeated the same attack, throwing rocks and I made sure to dodge them and find an opening to attack him. Then, after a attack, I saw it. He was picking up a rock, within the split second he was picking up the rock and was going to throw it.
I shot my sword directly at him while being up in the air. He looked up to see the sword and quickly duck down, my sword hit his backpack.
I could hear him frustrating. Through the small light of the flame he had made, I could see his anger. He threw away my sword to the ground, and out of the backpack were bunch of snakes jumping out.

I jumped quickly to his way, and he kept throwing rocks at me. Each rock he threw I dodged and made my way to him. I jumped up and attacked with my black sword.
I attacked from head level down to the ground, but he dodged. And then I felt it.
He had my sword, and had slashed my chest. While I was falling down I kicked his face, he didn't expect it. He jumped back and I fell to the ground, I was sweating.
I had never had a real battle like this before, a battle meaning life or death.
He had dropped my sword before jumping back. I slowly stood up and picked up my other sword. I was standing in a fighting stance, holding one sword in front of me and one next to my bleeding chest.
I was feeling pain, but I couldn't look away, or I would lose the battle. Losing my life might not be a big of a deal, but losing a battle, will make me look like a peasant to him.
"WHO ARE YOU" I shouted at him.
He was standing almost at the other side of the cave.
"What do you care, you're supposed to be dead anyways, I took your soul, same did your siblings" he said with a smile.
The red mark of my shoe was still on his face.
Suddenly, he disappeared out of my sight. I made my self ready.
He didn't show up for a good 4 seconds, then I decided to jump to the other side.
He appeared mid air on my way to the other side, but I had my swords blocking his leg. But this time it had a red glow on it.
With the help of his foot, I jumped back to the platform I was on.

"Kill yourself already!" he said.
"You're not supposed to be alive anyways you piece of shit!" he said.
Then he disappeared.
What soul, what killing, what is this. WHO IS HE?!
I closed my eyes. I took a deep breath. Then I attacked with my sword, diagonally up to down.
"GARGH" he screamed on my face.
I opened my eyes, to see blood running down my eyes. It was a horrible feeling.
I looked at him, his arm, it was missing and bleeding. He screamed as he took small jumps back. I looked at the ground to see his hand, covered in blood.
"DIE ALREADY, I HAVE YOUR SOUL" he screamed.
Soul? Just wh..
"..AT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!" I screamed with rage.

8 176The Guide
Leon Octavian Sirus was the head scientist of the Median Empire’s department of artificial intelligence. He tried to play god by creating a world with true sentient life, though virtual. It is still a world with people that can learn, think, and feel and as always that action had consequences and one of them was his death by his own creations. Despite commiting a grevious taboo, his world was succesful enough that instead of burning in the depths of hell, which is what this sociopath deserves, he is given the chance by his own world's guide to guide a race in a young world. P.S. This awesome cover was made by the more awesome MikeWe.
