*vroom* the sound of an engine was heard through the night soon followed by sirens as a van sped through the streets with a police car chasing after him. “I have eyes on the suspects heading down Hansen Street” The officer reported as he chased after them.
“He is gaining on us!” one of the people in the van spoke to the driver, “you don’t think I can see that!” the driver quipped before maneuvering around another car. “Both of you shut up!” another seated in the back spoke up causing the two in front to remain silent, “Jackson we need to lose him in the next two streets, can you do that”
“I’m trying but this guy is fucking persistent” Jackson called back as he overtook another car. “Fine, I’ll do it myself” The man seated in the back sighed as he opened the back doors pulling out a rocket launcher surprising all in the van as he aimed it at the police car.
The officer seeing this had his eyes widen as he tried to turn away but it was too late, an explosion resounded as the police car was taken down in one shot. The van did not stop as they sped away leaving the scene.
Next morning;
Under Thompson manor, Hank let out a scream of frustration as he punched a table, it had been a week since the encounter with Jessica and he had been trying his hardest to find any leads but all leads he thought he had, led him to dead ends leading him back to where he started, although unlike before he now knew Jessica was involved in this but that did not help as he was uncertain as to how to even find her.
Falling into his seat Hank run his hand through his head as he tried to figure out what Jessica was up to and if the House of Thanatos was involved in her being here. Hank hoped that for whatever reason Jessica was here it was personal because if it wasn’t… Hank didn’t want to deal with the House.

Hank’s thoughts were interrupted as his phone began ringing, “hello” Hank spoke up as he answered the phone. “The party is this afternoon and I was calling to remind you so you don’t forget”
“of course, I haven’t”
“Oh really, so you are at the tailors for your suit right now?”
“Tailor? Fitting?”
“Oh shit” Hank muttered to himself
“of course, I am, I’m heading there right now” Hank spoke to his cousin.
“Okay then don’t be late this time” with those words Michelle cut the call. Hank was quick to make his way back to the manor to take a car so as to head to tailor but had to come to a halt as he received a call from an unknown number.
“Who is this?” Hank spoke as he answered the phone. “hey it’s me Ferdinand remember, tech guy from your company, guy who helped heal you after you got shot” Ferdinand whispered the last bit causing Hank to sigh and pinch the bridge of his nose.
“How did you get my number? Wait no don’t answer that, answer this why are you calling me?” Hank asked the important question as he sat in the driver’s seat. “There was a robbery last night” “why then are you calling me?”
“Because you are the superhero, isn’t it like your job to deal with this stuff?”
“I’m busy, call the police”
“Somebody died…”
“As I said call the police”, Hank ended the call with those words and drove out of the garage to go retrieve his suit as well as prepare for the party.
With the Lakeside Police Department;
Naa had just been assigned to a new case and with her luck, this case just happened to be a one that led to the death of the police officer. “Hey partner”, Jarred spoke up as he entered the office with two cups of coffee at hand.

“Jarred, thanks for the coffee”, she spoke as she retrieved the coffee from Jarred. “so, where are we at with last nights robbery?” Jarred spoke as he sipped a coffee. “well this guys are pros, this was not the first time they’ve robbed a bank. They robbed a few banks across other cities before heading here, though this is the first time they’ve killed someone”
“Which means they are getting bolder”
“yeah, which is why we need to nab this bastards before they decided its time to skip the city”
“don’t worry partner we always get them” Jarred spoke raising his cup which Naa smiled and responded to by raising her own cup.
“that, that we do”.

The Huntsman's Quest (An Urban Magic Quest/RPG)
Jon Whitaker went to summer camp expecting a nice relaxing time as a newly minted counselor in training. He was not expecting to fight an army of monsters, work with a serial killer, enter a one-sided friendship with an eldritch horror, or study under a competing witch and dark lord. But regardless of what he was expecting, his summer is over and he's made his way back home where he can try and return to a normal -for him- life. Too bad life rarely goes as expected. --- Please Note: This is forum quest/RPG I run in the same city/setting as my other stories Hacking Reality and Get Ink'd, meaning that while a majority of the plot is made up by me, the major choices as well as what each chapter is about are usually made by the actual readers in forum votes. Additionally, given how this is essentially a story version of a Tabletop game there is also a background RPG system that while the characters aren't necessarily aware of, the readers can see these stats to know how each chosen 'Action' effects their character's development.

A world of magic, dragons, and dark forces stands in his way, as heroes far and wide unite under the banner of change, as Greg follows his own path of revenge. Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)
