RB Chapter 4 First Day At School As Brothers
Monday,June 7th, 2199
Elec and Eric were currently outside the building waiting for the driver to pick them up.
Lisa was standing and looking at the two twin like boys with a sparkle in her eyes. Though her expression remained stoic.
She was standing behind the two.
'They look good in uniform'
"You should remember! No calling me master at school! You should call me brother!" Elec was telling that to Eric. He had said that many times during the weekend.
Even standing shoulder to shoulder like this was making Eric, who treated himself like a servant awkward, but it was what his master had ordered, so he couldn't disobey.
A black sedan pulled up on the side of the road.
The driver was different. Mr. Lee was his father's butler, him picking Elec from school last friday was an exception.
"Bye!" Lisa waved to the boys, but only Eric waved back. He had taken a liking to her as she looked after him, like a mother would. Though he still didn't understand the sentiment.
They settled in and the car drove towards the central part of the city where the school was located.
The school occupied a considerable piece of land since it had multiple facilities.
All the classrooms for grades, one to six were located in one building.
The base had the first grade up to the fifth floor which had six graders.
The car arrived inside the parking space inside the school.
Cars had to enter the school because they would cause a congestion of traffic if they had to drop off the students outside the gates.
All the students came from well off families, so they were all dropped off in vehicles.
The driver opened his door and exited to hold the door open for the young master.
Elec was the first to get off and attracted the gazes of countless female students. The red and white uniform seemed to magnify his attractiveness, even though the white shirt was hidden by the red blazer.
"Every time I see Elec, I even wonder if he is human. He is simply too handsome." One girl whispered to her friend.
"Yeah! Too bad there are way more eligible bachelors, whose background surpasses his in the school. I like strong men who can protect me, he always loses to those two lion cubs." Her friend wasn't as mesmerised as her.
"Heh! Those lion cubs are violent. You might be beaten day and night once you marry into their family!" Elec's admirer threatened causing her friend to go pale as she remembered their brutish behaviour.

Eric, came out after Elec causing all the students to pause. Their jaws had dropped upon seeing the clone.
'He had a twin?' All of the students asked themselves.
"Oy! Elec! You never told me you had a twin!?" A loud male voice called out from a student exiting another car.
"Here comes the troublesome one." Elec muttered to himself.
Elec had no friends in class because he acted arrogant and standoffish. He didn't want to interact with his classmates.
But one student still befriended him. He knew that Mordred wasn't bad. The problem was, he was too noisy.
His name was Mordred Mbwa. He was as tall as Elec, but bulkier almost like Baguma. He had brown eyes and black waterfall like hair cascading down his back.
He raced from his car towards Elec and jumped in with outspread hands. He was aiming for a hug.
A figure appeared in front of Elec and he fell into his embrace before his hair stood on end literally while he spasmed in its embrace.
He collapsed to the ground as his spasming continued.
The figure, who had appeared had been Eric.
"Eric! He wasn't a threat!" Elec shouted before going around Eric and tending to Mordred.
He changed the skin cells on his fingers into electrocytes and placed them on Mordred's body.
His spasming subsided as he sucked away the charge in his body.
People still couldn't control their DNA as even the super cell didn't increase the percentage of the brain they could use.
It was still at 40% courtesy of Edward Lord. Though the super cell could follow the thoughts of what the brain wanted and apply them.
Eric had mildly electrocuted him.
"Sorry m...brother!" Eric apologised from behind Elec.
"Its okay! Are you okay, Mordred?"
Elec asked as he pulled the bulky classmate back on his feet.
"Well, nothing serious except that my uniform has gotten dirty and my beautiful hair needs another combing! Do you know have any idea how long it takes to straighten this beautiful hair?" Mordred had tears well up in his eyes as he complained about his hair.
"There must be those gym clothes in your locker. You can change into them. Your hair isn't that important. So basically, you are okay!"
Elec ignored his complaints and after saying his piece, he walked away with Eric trailing behind him.
Eric's head was lowered like a child who had been scolded for doing something wrong.

Elec, who was walking in front sighed deeply upon seeing that. All the enthusiasm he had had upon getting himself a servant had vanished.
All the students they passed by were staring at the duo in shock due to the resemblance.
"How could it be possible that no one knew that Elec had a twin?" One of them whispered to another.
"I don't think even the other nine powerful clans knew, or else it would have been publicized." Student B answered.
"But I wouldn't put it past those ten to keep it a secret among themselves." Student C butted in.
Elec reached his classroom on the secobd floor and entered.
The building housing the classrooms had no elevator despite it being possible to be added. The headmaster had said that the students had to exercise by climbing the stairs.
Many had complained at first since their homes or parents' places of work had elevators, which they had gotten used to.
The headmaster didn't budge and sine they couldn't transfer schools, they ultimately quietened down.
With Elec leading, they entered class and sat down.
Elec sat at the front, and Eric directly sat behind him.
Though he had glared at the occupant of that seat causing him to migrate in terror, occupying it after.
It was about 5 minutes to 8:00am when Leah arrived.
Her eyes lit up when she saw the twins but that all they did.
Their classmates wanted to gauge her reaction to see if the other nine powerful clans knew about Elec's twin. But they were disappointed as her reaction didn't give away anything.
To the right of Elec, Mordred was seated in his gym clothes. He was chatting with the other classmates and occasionally Elec as if the incident in front of the school had been forgotten.
But since he didn't try to chat with Eric, it seems he hadn't fully gotten over that trauma.
"Elec! Would you introduce us?" Leah demanded as her brown pupils stared at Eric behind him.
"He's Eric, my brother!" He calmly answered.
"Oh! How come I have never heard of him?" Mordred butted in.
"He has been living somewhere secluded!?" Leah's piercing gaze was causing sweat to appear on his forehead.
"He is fierce! I almost died!" Mordred gave Eric a thumbs up. He was trying to include him in the conversation.
Eric just looked at him calmly and didn't insert any words.
"My name is Leah Musota Butwa. What is yours?" She asked.
"Oh! You are that girl, mother asked Elec to stay away from!" Eric exclaimed as his gaze towards Leah gained vigilance.
Lisa had suggested that Eric call her that.
Elec abruptly turned to face Eric and his look suggested that he almost wanted to strangle him.
"You see Leah, my brother utters the strangest things!" He commented as he removed a handkerchief to wipe away the sweat.
'Sweat glands!!! Don't fail me now!' He shouted in his mind.
"Oh! Your mother doesn't like me! Would it be possible that we aren't meant to be be?"
She teased him when she saw him panicking.
"There is no way that's true!" He shouted.
"You two look like husband and wife!" Mordred commented, but three glares forced him to shrink into his neck and look away.
"I won't allow you to take m...brother away. Mother asked me to keep you away from him." Eric's deep blue eyes looked into Leah's green ones.
Elec, who was between them could almost see sparks colliding in their eyes.
'School life is going to be hard.' He sighed.
Mordred looked to be deep in thought as he looked at Eric. His eyes flickered dangerously for a brief second but no one noticed it.
The two's colliding gazes were interrupted as the teacher entered class at about 8:00am.
"Good morning teacher!" Leah led the students in greeting the teacher. She was the class Monitress.
"Good morning to you too. As you all know, my lesson is about genetic engineering, and today we are going to study about gene editing limits." He started. He looked to be a middle aged man dressed in a lab coat.
He was a genetic researcher and engineer who was hired to teach in exchange for usage of the school's lab. It had the most advanced equipment.
"How many times can one person edit their genes before they collapse?"
He started with a question.
"Oh! I almost forgot! New student! Introduce yourself and then answer the question!" His piercing gaze locked onto Eric.
Due to his nature as a genetic engineer, a clone like Eric was interesting to him. The school hadn't exposed the information but his intuition told him so.

Oublivant
Oublivants: a category of dungeons characterised by the antithesis of life, necrosis. "Dungons as a whole tend towards the lethal side when it comes to exploring them; however, an oublivant actively seeks out destruction on a grand scale. No greater example of their deep hatred for life exists than the very first discovery of an oublivant. It was a massive dungeon spanning miles in all directions. It continuously expanded along the surface, so fast you could see it, and left nothing but a scorched, withered wasteland in its wake. Wherever the oublivant resides, nothing but the undead exist, as all living life has been eradicated. Why it is, exactly, the oublivant seem so against life so as to break the passive rule dungeons have is unknown. What is known, however, is that they're a threat that, upon discovery, is to be immediately eliminated." - Archomagus Addiom Onero, Court of VascilNote: This is my first story on royal road. It'd be nice if you were nice... nicely.

Cutting to Life: an NPC LitRPG (Battle Royale)
Nikola is an NPC in The World of Wills, a video game where players can feel sensations as if they were truly there. She leads a life of bloodshed and murder - that is, until one day she wakes up sapient. Just as she begins thinking real, non-scripted thoughts and making connections, she and the players in the game are told that if they die in the game, they die in real life - and it's time to get killing. But what of Nikola, the emerging AI consciousness? How does she win in a game that can only end in her being wiped from existence at the end of it all? - Updates Mondays and Fridays. Cutting to Life is a slow-burn LitRPG with a villainous (later anti-hero, or maybe still villainous, haha) female lead. It's told from the perspective of Nikola, an NPC within the World of Wills who's become sapient and is now mysteriously able to play the game as a PC. It's quite light for a LitRPG, but the system and stats become more of a focus later when Nikola herself can access them. The story gradually builds into a Battle Royale where the players' lives are on the line (if you die in the game, you die in real life), and only one party of savvy adventurers can win. They'll have to spend their time and stats wisely as dungeons promising rare gear float down from the sky - but is a legendary sword worth killing someone for, knowing they'll stay dead forever? - This story is told in third person, past tense.- This is a slow-burn LitRPG that spends a lot of time establishing its setting and characters, because I believe this will make for a better payoff in the end. As such, the Battle Royale doesn't start until chapter 30 or so.- Chapters are anywhere between 800 words and 3000 words long.- Book cover by Vixeona.Cutting to Life is also being posted on SPB and Scribble Hub.Thank you sincerely for reading.
