(I recommend listening to devil eyes as you read especially the fight scene)
"So do you know any good places around here?"
"Ya I know there are a few good shops and restaurants how about we just take a full tour"
"Sounds good to me"
...
"Oh is this the restaurant you were talking about?"
"Yep this is a fish food restaurant they bring fish all the way from aquamay city "
"Ya I can see that from the prices"
"Haha ya what can you do it comes from far away even further than our dukedom"
"Woah that's far how do they even preserve it"
"Honestly I have no idea this is a well-kept secret amongst the merchants of aquamay"
"Woah I kinda wanna visit it once"
When William said that he noticed the slight change in expression of James but it soon went back to normal.
"Unfortunately"
"Is there something your not telling me James?"
"Huh...no... nothing let's order and then visit the street market I heard they are quite an eye opener to us nobles"
".... sure why not"
...
"Hey James before we go to the street market can we go to that clothes shop I wanna try a few things on"
"Sure why not"
William went towards the dress and accessories store and put on a black earring shaped like a cross being hung on by metal and a black bracelet.
"Hey you know what black fits well with your hair and eyes you look pretty good"
"Hey James why don't you get this white bracelet it will fit well with your hair and eyes"
"You know what sure"
"How does it look"
"Gay"
"You.."
"Hahaha I'm kidding you look good James"
James just sighed as William went to pay for the accessories.

As we walked out of the store James turned and looked at me and said
"You know he overcharged you right"
"What! Wait why didn't you tell me"
"Well consider this revenge"
"Petty"
"I heard that"
"What I mumbled that how"
"How, well I've got a good set of ears what can I say hahaha"
'This is quite nice I think we could have been much closer if James didn't push me away while we were younger, well can't fully blame him as I honestly never really tried to get close to him'
"Well to the marketplace"
"Yup"
...
"Woah your right the marketplace is an eye opener I mean there are these people selling stuff on the floor with stalls but in the alleyways crime is taking place"
"Yes your right"
"Why hasn't the emperor or the royal guards tried to stop these criminals"
"Oh they have tried but they are like cockroaches they are not easy to find or kill"
"But the redeeming factor is that there is kill on sight order for the royal guards as long as a criminal is found"
"Oh nice but do check for evidence first don't they"
"Ya obviously"
As we walked through the marketplace in one of the alleys a sight caught my eyes a dirty black-haired boy was standing surrounded by a bunch of men and behind the boy was a girl shorter than him with the same black hair.
I mean this is a usual occurrence but what really catches my eyes is the boy's eyes filled with determination to protect and overcome.
"James let's help them"
"Why?"
"I don't know just feel like it"
"Okay"
William and James went to the group and I shouted at the supposed leader.
"Hey! Leave them alone!"
"Haa shut it kid and wait your turn"

A man snorted and rushed towards the barehanded boy.
"Cheh trash"
James said and rushed towards the man.
James jumped and kicked the head of the man smashing it into the pavement leaving me shocked for a second.
Although the shock left as quickly as it came as I rushed towards another man and pulled out my dagger and slashed him quick enough that James didn't notice and the man fell forward.
But James looked to my side the next second I did that.
Looks like he didn't see it it's best not to do it anymore.
I dashed towards a bulky-looking man with a machete
"Bit overkill for you to fight a weak boy and a helpless girl with a whole group and a machete don't you think big man"
"DIE KID!!"
Okay note taken.
I punched him in the guts making him keel over.
Looks like your body is just for show huh.
[No your just strong]
Thank you for the compliment, Emma.
The big guy was struggling to get up but it's your bad luck you fought me today I elbow his head on the ground
I turned around and noticed James had taken care of most of the guys on his side.
Guess I should hurry up.
I dashed through the small group of people as I take each one of them down.
"Huh that's easy work"
"You good William"
"Ya I'm fine these weak guys can't do shit to me"
I say as I walk towards the boy and girl.
"Hey are you alright"
I ask with a smile but I notice the boy raise his hands slightly to protect his sister.
"Oh, don't worry we were just passing through and noticed your situation you guys stay around here?"
I asked with a kind smile
The boy looked warily at me before he responded.
"We stay over there"
"Oh, and where are your parents?"
When I asked this I saw that the boy noticeably flinched.
Instead of responding the boy just kept quiet.
"Well hey I'm William and that's James there we are, brothers, do you mind me asking how old are you?"
"I'm 13 and my sister is 11"
"Okay well take care of yourself selves and here"
I said as I handed them 2 silver coins and walked away with James without hearing their response.
"Why did you only give them 2 silver when you have so much gold on you right now"
"Well James if they have too much money they will get robbed even worse killed for it in such an area "
We walked around the marketplace when James stopped inside an alley.
"Wait here William I'm gonna get you a surprise!"
James said it excitedly and then ran off.
'Okay a bit weird'

8 149How The Weak Live
This was a rough draft. Quite a meh one. The newer version is These Games of Ours. ---------- Lucious is deserter among many, living by dagger and beggary. Argento’s thirst for knowledge is endless, as is his belly. Kora is the perfect soldier, yet her sword grows dull in monotony. Formally known as the Empire's legend, the Captain is now stuck in stagnation. The Gods, grown weary of human deeds, have decided to indulge themselves in a different way. -------------- THE 7 REALLY IMPORTANT STUFF Clichés shall be avoided like the cancerous tumors they are. The world shall not spread its pink butt cheeks for the main character’s convenience. No character shall be thinner than one slice of white American cheese. No female character shall serve to highlight how overpowered and fabulous the main character is. No villain shall serve to highlight how overpowered and fabulous the main characters are. Grammar laws shall be upheld sometimes. I, the author, swear not to be a prick. I, the author, swear not to go away without warning. If other LitRPGs are like Skyrim, then this is going to be a combination of Dark Souls and Total War. Don't expect action for the sake of action. Be warned, this is a slow novel. Read the reviews to see if this novel is a decent fit for you. Disclaimer: I do not own that gorgeous cover art.
