*CLANG*
William took a few steps back and realized that Reid was stronger than him, but William didn't panic as he swung his sword aiming for reids neck at a very fast speed.
Reid dodged the attack and slashed at William's chest.
William sidestepped to avoid the attack and thrust his sword toward reads chest
*CLANG*
Ried side-stepped his sword and deflected Williams's sword while slashing William's chest.
William jumped backwards and avoided it.
"So are you done playing around?"
William asked.
"Haha I'm just getting warmed up"
Although William and Reid were normally conversating the audience was quite shocked because William was able to hold his own against rieds attacks leaving the soldiers watching shocked as well as William's parents.
"How!"
James shouted.
William just looked at James for a second and turned to look at William leaving James gritting his teeth.
'Well I should just my mana pathways as that is public'
"What is that blue colour hue on William's sword? And do you know why the temperature around here feels like it has gotten colder!"
Albert asked grace.
"I don't know but this feels familiar"
William suddenly dashed towards ried whose muscles were bulging with veins and slashed at him multiple times on different parts.
All I which was blocked by red except one which Reid couldn't stop.
"Haha, young master you can use elements!?"
William didn't respond and just smiled but what Reid had said had left everyone watching with their mouth open.
"How is this possible!"
James shouted.
"James you are too loud"
Violet said beside him in an almost whisper but James heard her.
"I'm sorry but this is just impossible even the crown prince can just barely do it"
"Your just a frog at the bottom of the well James"

William replied in a cool voice but inside it was a completely different story.
'Hahaha I always wanted to say that'
[William I think you should focus on Reid instead]
'What!'
William ducked downs he avoided rieds slash by a hair length.
"In a fight, you should not get di.."
William slashed at Ried's stomach to which Ried's avoided it.
"You should too"
William said with a sly smirk, seeing Williams smirked while Reid just laughed and rushed at William and delivered a barrage of attacks on William.
*CLANG*
*CLANG*
*CLANG*
William couldn't break through Rieds defence even after so long of attacking.
William stood opposite of Ried looking at him as the blue hue on Williams's sword condensed so much so that it became visible to everyone and when that happened the temperature, especially near the podium, took a nosedive.
Although the soldiers didn't know what was happening.
"Albert that is ice no wonder it felt so familiar!"
"But how is that even possible!?"
William rushed towards tried sword in hand and upper slashed ried.
Ried swings his sword to meet head-on with Williams.
*CLANG*
Pin drop silence no one spoke as what William had just done was considered impossible for him by everyone present
William stood there with his sword touching rieds neck with a satisfied smile on his face.
"I won ried"
"Yes, you did young master.
"The winner of this battle is William now disperse"
Grace quickly came up on stage and said in a hurried yet commanding voice.
'Phew that saves me a lot of trouble'
As William started walking away following the red who already left he felt a hand grab his shoulder.
He turned around to look who it was and what he saw made a cold shiver run down his spine.

"William we need to talk"
Grace said with a chilly smile.
~
In Albert's study, William could be seen sitting on a sofa and opposite him were his parents looking at him in silence.
"How were you able to do that"
Albert broke the silence.
'Huh, I knew this would happen, Emm..'
[Dont tell me about it I had already warned you but no you just had to show off]
"Well I don't know I was trying to move Mana around and I was just able to do it"
"Why didn't you tell us about it",
"I thought this was just normal?
*sigh*
" listen William just make sure no one finds out about it we will make sure no soldier spreads this news"
"Why can't they"
William asked with genuine curiosity
"Sigh... William people if you are too much of a genius you will get used by others or get killed as you are too much of a risk to be left alive to them"
"..."
William simply nodded and left to his room
' sigh I've been too carefree in such a different world who knew human nature hasn't changed one bit even in a different world'
~
'Well we have finally arrived at the capital for the academic tournament that is being held 5 days from now'
'And honestly the first chance I get I'm making a car cause I HATE CARRAGES'
The carriage William and his family were riding stopped in front of a big building called the royal inn.
'Hmm from the name I can use my incredible deduction skills praised throughout the galaxies that this inn is owned by the...
"Dad is this inn owned by the royal family?"
"Yes it is James"
'Nailed it'
--
*Knock**knock*
"Who is it?"
"It's me James can we talk"
'What the hell does he want'
William opened the door slightly and asked.
"What do you want James?"
"Well we are brothers and I don't think I have been a very good one so I thought why not take a trip around the capital now that we are here"
"..."
"Okay, so tomorrow?"
William said that and was about to close the door when James put his hands through and held it with a smile.
"Why not now I mean no time like the present am I right haha"
'This guy is sus as hell!!'
"Sure why not just let me get my sword"
"Haha there is no need the capital is really safe so you won't be needing one anyway"
'Now I know something is up the capital as its name implies is meant to be safe but I've heard a few things from guards that have stayed here before that this place is not as safe as it seems so whenever they went out they always had a weapon to protect themselves'
"Sure just one second"
William closed the door before James could say anything and quick look around for a weapon small enough for James to not notice.
"Ahh the dagger"
William pulled out a sheathed dagger and quickly tucked it in his pants and overlapped it with his shirt.
"Let's go, James"
Said William with a smile

Dragons were the apex predators of the magical world, feared for their strength and intelligence. They stood at the pinnacle of creation, until mankind fueled by fear and envy banded together and struck them down as the greatest threat to the continued existence of their kingdoms. Peace reigned for many years across the continent, until an accident in the Magocracy of Ken turned one of the most powerful mage lords into a power mad lich. Raising an undead army and creating a cult that worshipped him like a god, he cut a bloody swath across the continent in a bid to create his own domain. A great alliance consisting of the Kingdom of Light, the Magocracy of Ken, the Forest Kingdom of the Elves, the Mountain Kingdom of the Dwarves, and the Wild Tribes of the West rose up and the high lich was defeated, his armies destroyed, and his cult scattered. Still recovering, the world is a constant state of petty power struggles and back biting between nations. Border disputes are common and the constant fighting has taken a toll on the populations of all the nations. Ocean Attuned - A timeloop LitRPG
In the mids of industrialization, Liana, a girl of almost twelve, awakens her flow and follows her newly awakened calling, the ocean, and thus the path of the last remaining god. With the advent of industry, one's status and the accompanying skills slowly grow to be secondary as people choose more recreational skills and classes. The clear exception are flow bringers. Humans with an increased affinity towards flow and attunements are the only real remnants of the age of gods and mysticism. Terrors on the battlefield, saints in hospitals, saviours during drought, are just some examples of the wonderous abilities they display. As civilization grows less dangerous so does the stress that is often associated with the awakening of the flow reduce and only the real talents remain. Please be aware that this is a first draft at best. Tag/Genre analysis: Action: A theme that will appear in the story at some point (probably 15+ chapters in) Adventure: Yes Fantasy: Yes Magic, Beasts, and other fantastical elements are totally at home here. Tragedy: Life is not always fun. For what is fun when there are no downsides. I don't know how heavily I am going to lean into this genre. I want to but don't expect too much. Loop: Yes, though I will not divulge anything else. Just be aware that there isn't nearly as much looping as in MoL for example. Female Lead: Yes, Liana is female. Dungeon: Yes, there are dungeons. Yes, they will get explored. LitRPG: Yes, read the first chapter if you want an example. Magic: most definitely because who doesn't like calling lighting down from the heavens. (Disclaimer: No actual lightning will be called down from the heavens) Mythos: There are gods. So maybe, I don't know if that is enough to qualify? Progression: yes Slice of Life: There is plot, and the story will mostly be about that plot, but there will also be downtime because there can't always be action. The first "loop" especially the first 20-30 chapters will be heavily SoL. And afterward there will be a lot less. Profanity: The ocean (see title) includes sailors and we all know how the stereotypical sailor is. Gore: Hmmm, some but I will have it be not graphic at all.
