Sigh this is such a broken place.
Though I wonder what James is going get says it's a surprise but I cant help thus bad feeling I'm getting.
Well I guess I can just wait and s...
*sniff**sniff*
"Yuck what's this weird smell!"
"Its so different compared to normal smell of off these places it seems like it's coming from that warehouse"
I should probably not go there and stay here and wait.
...
...
...
Damnit I cant help my curiosity I've gotta see what it is.
...
*creak*
I opened the door but there is such a old rusty type smell along with that weird smell I cant figure out.
I look around this warehouse with barely any light coming through from the small windows around along with me opening the door everything is much more visible.
"WHAT THE HELL!!"
Theres a dead body!!.
I look at it and the realization Dawn's on me that this is my first time my body has seen a dead body but I just dont feel anything the more I look at it I can feel as if the sudden disgust at seeing a being of the same species as me who has lead his own life up to adulthood just ended but I feel this feeling clouding my head clear up I feel.
I feel as if..
It doesnt mean a thing to me.
I dont understand how I'm able to just accept it but my as if body itself is okay with it throws my mind and my previous lifes morals conflict but I cant do a thing a thing about it.
"How confusing"
I look over at the dead human body and notice that there is a slash on his neck.
"THERE HE IS!"
I suddenly hear a shout from behind me.

Ugh what now.
I turn around to see the royal soilders marching behind me blocking my exit"
"Can I help you royal soilders"
I say as I start walking towards them with my hands up in there to show i mean no harm.
"HALT!"
A royal guard shouted
"WE ARE HERE TO INVESTIGATE THE MISSING OF A ROYAL COURT OFFICER AND WE HAVE BEEN TIPPED OFF THAT THIS WAREHOUSE IS THE PLACE WHERE THE COURT OFFICER IS KEPT AND SINCE YOU HAVE JUST EXITED THE PLACE YOU NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED!"
It took me a few seconds to process what he just said and then it hit me.
'FUCK MY CURIOSITY!!"
"Haha sure officer I would like to inf..."
"Sir we have found the court officer with a cut on bus throat he has recently died!"
A soilder shouts to main officer here.
"APPHREHEND HIM"
"wait wa.."
"Silence criminal"
"Search him"
I could feel a pair of hands going through my pockets and dress.
"Sir we have found a dagger on the criminal which has blood on it"
"Punish this crimi.."
"Officer stop he is the son if the grand Duke"
The soilder who searched me took out my families insignia.
'Yes save!!"
"A.. we shall detain him and let the emperor pass the judgement on the court"
'That gives me time!'
They attached something onto my hands and led me out of the alleyway.
When I got outside I saw a smiling face.
"Hope you liked my surprise william"
It took a second before using my superior brain to understand what happened.
"It was you... you fucking bastard!"
I shouted at James
"No No my dear brother it wasnt only me it was"
James came close to myears before whispering something that left me gritting my teeth in anger as I stared at James.

"Good bye William we will not be seeing each other after this I believe"
"Haha...Hahah....HAHAHAHAHA trust me James we will be seeing each other but hear this you are not worth my revenge actually none of you are but you better prepare yourselves HAHAHHAH..."
"TAKE HIM AWAY HE HAS GONE CRAZY!"
James shouted at the guard enraged by my words.
'Such a fool really to get aggravated by this'
The guard throws me into the carriage with me laughing crazily and lock the doors and l hear the carriage set off.
I calm myself down and look down at my hands.
*sigh*
In my past life I already knew that I was kinda crazy the type of person to absolutely torture my enemy if they did something bad to me or my family i really suppressed that side crazy side of me i really tried even in this life but i guess that is no longer viable i thought clenching my fist looking at the floor with wide eyes filled with chaotic cruelty.
...
I feel the carriage stop moving and the door opens by the loud mouthed officer.
He held me and pulled me out roughly and started pulling me through the palace.
"I can walk myself"
I said pulling his hands away to which he just snorted and continued walking
"Follow me!"
We walked through the palace where a lot of butlers a d hand maids saw me in cuffs.
We headed towards from what I can say is a dungeon cell where he pushed me inside and told me to wait.
'Sigh'
*clang*
I once again try to pull the cuffs of and this time I vot a better look at it.
'Hahaha how ironic the metal my family produces and sells was used against the same family how ironic'
...
*CLANG**CLANG*
I open my eyes and see the same guard unlocking the door.
It's been half a day already.
"am I free to go officer"
I joke with him but he doesn't even my his face a bit.
"Follow me"
Hmm how boring.
...
I follow this guard through the place and seem to follow a familiar pathway and this feeling was confirmed when we came upon the door to the hall where the processes awakening ceremony happened.
'Ah good times"
I chuckle to myself remembering the fun I had here.
The doors open up revealing a grand scene of the emperor along with his two kids sitting on the throne on top of the podium looking at me and a whole crowd of who I'm supposing are nobles filling the surroundings being barred by a fence and a pen ath leading me to a stand infront of me.
I suppose that's where i will be standing.
Ugh these looks ar to much for my introverted ass to handle what are they vultures?
Actually i might not be far off Haha.
"William Grey second son of Grand Duke Albert Grey step forward onto the podium infront of you"
And these bastards.
"You have been caught assassinating a court officer and all the eviden..."
*BANG*
"Your majesty I dont think you should be having a court hearing about my son without the father present dont you think"
huh I thought it would be mom never knew dad had it in him to stand up to the emperor himself.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes
