Wilton steps out of the temple doors. In an instant, his feet hit soft earth. He looks around finding himself in the midst of a bright field. Looking up he spots the sun rising in the sky. It was suddenly daytime.

The diminutive Wilton took a deep breath and began to walk through the field of tall grass towards a few nearby trees. He ripped up the grass along the way. Tying longer pieces together, trying to fashion any form of clothes. He would need protection from the elements.

As he reaches the trees he adjusted what was a grass belt around his waist. He was tying more grass to the front to cover his genitals. Looking down he noticed some branches that had fallen off the tree. He began collecting them.

If he was so good at collecting plant twine then maybe he could fashion some more tools or weapons. Wood wouldn’t be enough though. He needs stone.

His large ears perk up when he hears running water. The spry little man runs with a hoe in one hand and a bundle of sticks in the other. He reaches the edge of a bubbling brook running through the wooded area. He searches around collecting a few large stones that he brings back to the shore. The bed of the brook is gravel giving the halfling a few ideas.

He goes back to the grass field, collecting long strands of the grass, and breaking off small sticks to wrap the grass around. He eventually created a net for sifting. He went back to the brook and began sifting through the gravel bed.

After a little bit of work, he procured flint. A few pieces of flint would be easy to use. He took them back to his small stockpile of wood and stone. Using the stones he began to knap the flint. Breaking it off into usable pieces and forming it into the heads of tools.

With the sticks, more plant twine from the fields, and the flint pieces Wilton is able to make a hand axe. He gives it a few practice swings before he looks around at the woods. There has to be a few trees he can chop down.
