Blake POV

I could not believe what I was seeing was this really the lizzy that left us four years ago, here she was with a deadly look on her face after beating the shit out of Chris , i was left on edge to approach her and so was everyone else the only one that tried approaching her was Alexander, trying to calm her down a bit from how hard she was breathing, her face was a bit bruised but was healing at an unbelievable rate, her injuries had completely gone but her wolf was still in command with those piercing golden eyes that stared the alpha down as he approached

How my blood boils to know that he have the privilege to comfort my lizzy, she was supposed to be mine, what a fool I was to have let her go then, I was just a stupid teenage boy as she was, with no knowledge of the real world until I turned the alpha and had to feel the pressure of it all

"Baby are you ok", I felt Cassandra hands on my back trying to comfort me, "why don't you call it a day and come with me"

I turned a bit to look at her then sighed feeling drained already, I looked back at lizzy to see she was staring at Cassandra, with those blood thirsty eyes, moving at a slow pace itching toward her new found target , I caught on quickly to the situation and dragged her away before lizzy rips off her head in the state she's in

"Come on let's go, I'll call it a day " she nod her head then followed me inside to our room to freshen up myself

When I was finished and had on a clean set of clothes I went to my office to make a phone call to my dad and the former beta

"Hello" answered my father

"Hello father I have some disturbing news "

"What is it son did something happened to the pack ,the people, your mate " he rushed out trying to understand what I meant

"Slow down dad, and let me explain "

"Ok then go ahead "

"Well first off everyone is going fine my mat- , Cassandra as well , but we've been having a bit of a rouge problem so I asked the council to help us, they ended up sending a couple hunters to assist, but the problem has gotten worst cause now they have declared war on us "

"WHAT " he roared through the phone "how, when, what happened "

"I don't know, I've preform my duties well as alpha and did nothing to provoke them or there leader so i have no idea why this could be happening"

"Don't worry son I'll be there in the next day or two, I'll also get onto the former beta as well to help in the situation "

"Thanks dad sorry to be bothering you about this you've retired , I should have been able to handle this a lot better but here I am dragging you back into this "

"It's not your fault son, so don't feel upset about it, besides I'll be happy to lend you a hand in anyway I can "

"Thanks dad I really appreciate it, also I've asked alpha Alexander for his help"

"That's good he owed me, so I'm glad he's repaying his debt through our alliance" he sighed "Don't worry I'll be there soon take care till then , and say hi to Cas for me"

"I will dad good bye" with that I hang up the phone then leaned back into by seat contemplating my next move, especially when it came to lizzy, I just don't want to let her go as yet and I sure as hell don't want to loose to Alexander

'What to do, what to do' , I thought, oh I've got it, tomorrow he'll be leaving to go back to his pack, so I'll try talking to her and see how it goes , even if she does pick him over me at least we could be friends or something

"Hey, what you up too in here" Cassandra asked as she walked into my office, I didn't even hear her come in

"Oh nothing much, I just called my father and told him about our problem"

"And what did he say" she asked rubbing her stomach

"Well he said he'll be here in a day or two and that he'll also talk to the former beta to come with him as well"

"Oh I see " she took a seat

"Also he wanted to tell you hi and that he hope your doing ok but don't worry I already reassured him "

"That's good to know , anyways how about we go back to our room and lie down a bit "

"Sorry Cas but I wanna finish some more work here first before I do that"

"It's ok, do what you must then" she got up and headed to the door , then closed it gently as she went out

I release a huge sighed feeling extremely stressed out , but dug into some more paper work before I wear myself out
