Blake POV

After the meeting was over and I was alone in my office, I couldn't help but wonder, was that really lizzy and why did she hide her presence from everyone, i guess it really is her , that the only what to explain the little tingles that I felt when we touched

But her parents has been so worried did she not care about their feeling to let them know she was alright, as I thought about it I did understand the reason behind her actions, but still I need to find out for myself

I got up for my desk and head out of my office, on my way to the room that she stays in, when I had reached the door I knocked then waited for her to answer

"Coming" she said from behind the door before she opened it

'Hello....." she stopped as she saw me in front of her

"Hi may I came in" i asked carefully, but she just looked at me hesitantly before opening the door wider so i could come in

"Can I help you with something" she turned to me as she closed the door

"Well it's nice to know that your alive Elizabeth " I said to her but all I saw was a blank look on her face

"Why did you come here" isn't it obvious I thought to myself

"Well first off I'm wondering why you were here with us all along but no one knew it was you "

Without answering me she just sighed and sat down on the bed "well I was using a potion to cloak my wolf's presence and scent, but I guess I don't have to use it anymore since my covers been blown "

"Wow ok, so you've become a hunter now, that amazing I never thought...." before I could finish though she had cut me off

"What?, you never imagined that an omega as myself could ever become a hunter, much less an assassin hunter well guess what I did ok! so don't ! just don't ! "

"I'm really sorry I fucked things up with us, i should have given you a chance but i just didn't want you to get hurt cause you had no kind of training to take the test, I realized that I was just being selfish "

"It's ok, cause you know what I got over and I got over you"

"No, maybe there's still some way we can..."

"Can still what Blake ? , I think your way over your head and I also don't want to hold you back from your family that your going to have

"But "

"I Elizabeth Wilson accept your rejection, as she said the words I noticed the single tear that ran down her cheeks "i think this is for the best Blake"

I was stunned by her acceptance to the rejection, it must have took a lot out of her to says the words ,cause the next thing she did was got up and went to the bathroom locking her self inside

The pain was there I couldn't denied that I felt it , but I was mated to someone so it wouldn't affect me as much as it would her

Feeling helpless , i just got up and leave her be. I was so stuck in the past I can't believe I thought there could still be something between us after all I've put her through

I left her room and went back to my office to make a call to the alpha of the silver lake pack the most feared and strongest pack in the country, it's a lucky thing we're allies though, I wouldn't want to be on their enemies list

As I spoke to the alpha I told him the situation and the need for their assistance, he replied telling me he'll be here in the next two days in person to go over our tactics to win this war.

I guess that it for the day, I sighed feeling wary of everything already , I still don't have a clue as to why there leader wants to attack our pack, what on earth did I do to them in the first place, everything's been so peaceful at first now everything feel like its going down hill

I left my office then headed to my room to relax for the rest of the day and to take mind off of the war, lizzy and everything else in general

"Hey Blake are you ok, you seemed stressed" I saw Cassandra coming out of the bathroom

"Not really but I'll push through, I always seem to do "

"Here let help you relax, your back must be aching", she came behind me as I sat on the bed then started massaging my back

"Thanks, with how my day have been I really needed that"

"I'm always here for you blake" she smiled, taking my mind off of everything that happened, maybe I really can move on from lizzy, after all I'm only glad that she's alive and not dead
