The first couple of months of the new year went smoothly. For Brielle, January was perfect in her eyes and it couldn't have been better. Between it being her birth month and the month that the grand opening took place, she was all smiles the entire month. Cameron took matters into his own hands, he planned the grand opening and her birthday dinner that followed right after the opening was over. Besides Mexican food being her ultimate favorite Bri loved pasta too, so Cam booked a private room at an upscale Italian restaurant.

Her grand opening was a major success. Believe it or not Brielle made a half of million off the opening alone. Of course her family supported and bought a couple pieces even though she told them not to. Their love and emotional support was enough. Brielle also had celebrity clients that she made custom pieces for, so she invited them and they brought others. They fell in love with her work, so they broke the bank.

Bri was not your typical jeweler with an Instagram-based website. She was an actual jeweler who took pride in her work. Each chain, diamond, necklace, watch, ring, etc. was real. From the gold, sliver, and custom rose gold color she created.

She's been in the game since she was sixteen, and now she's twenty-two. I would not expect less. She was featured on the Shade Room again, and she knew there wasn't any turning back now, but her parents said they would do as much as they could about the blogs.

Cameron has been working nonstop. Besides the building of the condominium, which is almost finished, by the way, he has sold six houses within the last few months. He's been doing a minimal amount of traveling due to the fact that he needs to be present for the city inspections of the condominium. The house is almost finished as well, and they should be moved in by the end of May.

"Baby! Are you ready? We're about to be late! I swear you would think it'd be me slowing us down, being that I'm the one pregnant and all." Brielle shook her head as she rubbed her now seven-month-old belly.

"Stop the sarcasm before I beat you up." She looked up and rolled her eyes as Cameron was walking out of the bathroom. He moved towards the dresser and sprayed himself down with his YSL cologne.

"Yea, yea, whatever. Come help me up."

For Bri to be seven months old, she was bigger than normal. Everybody was suspecting that she was having twins, but she killed the speculation once her doctor assured her that there was only one bun in the oven. Cameron clasped his watch around his wrist before walking over to his fiancé. He held his hand out and she gripped it, causing him to pull her up. "You look nice, baby."

Cameron smirked and kissed her lips. "Thank you, mama, and you do too."

He did indeed look nice. He had a navy blue Daniel Knit vest by Divotti over a white turtleneck knit sweater and a pair of Tyrone slim-fit plaid pants. A perfect dress edge belt by Johnston and Murphy, and a pair of ankle boots by La Milano. On the other hand, Brielle had on a long-sleeved white dress that fitted her physique. She had on a pair of navy blue heels that wrapped around her legs. Her hair was a top knot bun that brought out her face. The jewelry of choice was a shell-styled oval sapphire blue diamond pendant necklace, three blue-carat diamond earrings and a blue-faced watch. Instead of matching, they decided to correlate.

"We need to go before we're late. You already know how mama Sasha is." Bri shook her head and walked out of the room. Once she made her way towards the stairs, she held on to the railing and walked down. If there's anything she hates about her pregnancy, it's the walking up and down the stairs. Sometimes she sleeps in the living room to avoid going upstairs. Walking into the kitchen, she grabbed a core of water before going out of the garage door.

Sasha was hosting her semiannual dinner party and she wanted her son and his fiancé in tow. She wanted them there early, but as you can see, they're running late.

"You better not touch that damn door." Cameron popped her hand as he stepped out of the house. He opened the passenger side door of his Range Rover and held Bri's hand as she climbed in. Once he shut the door, he walked around and got into the drivers' seat. Tapping the garage opener, Cameron pulled his seatbelt on and pressed the start button, bringing the engine to life. He placed his hand on Brielle's thigh and reversed out of the garage down the driveway.

"Is this a business-related dinner party?" Bri asked as she scrolled through Cameron's phone. She left both of hers at the jewelry store today, and by the time she realized it, she was almost home. Downtown Dallas was far from the house, and she didn't feel like turning around.

"Yes. Ma has been hosting these for a long time. She said it was a way to show her employees that she appreciated them. She also said it allowed others to network and connect."

Bri adjusted the seatbelt that was across her stomach and sighed in agitation. "I hope the food is good."

Cam glanced over at her. "What's wrong?"

"This damn seatbelt is uncomfortable. Like ugh! Why my stomach so damn big and Jabari said where yo bitch ass at with a bunch of sad faces." Bri looked at the message again and laughed out loud.

Cameron laughed and shook his head. "Take it off mama, we're like ten minutes away, and tell him we're almost there."

Brielle took her seatbelt off and rubbed her stomach. She didn't know the gender and was still undecided on whether she wanted to have a surprise baby shower or a gender reveal. Her stomach was sitting low, and everybody assumed it was a girl. The gender did not matter to the duo; only the baby's health did. Bri is still honestly shocked at how her life has changed within the last two years. It still feels surreal to her. I mean, graduating from college early, getting engaged, and getting pregnant at 21 would feel surreal to me too.

"Have you thought about what you want to do with the house?"

Bri shook her head and frowned. "No. I don't know whether to sell it or rent it out."

"Just let me know so I can draw up the paperwork." Cam pulled up in front of the venue and parked. He killed the engine and threw off his seatbelt. reaching into the backseat and grabbing the pair of slides that were on the floorboard.

He opened his door and stepped out before going around to Bri's side. Cam pulled the door open and held his hand out as Bri gripped it, easing out of the truck. She stepped back, causing Cameron to shut the door. Once he gave the key to the valet, Cam placed his hand on the small of Bri's back and they walked inside of the venue.

When you stepped through the door, you were met with R & B playing lowly in the background. There was an open bar on the left and right sides of the room. The decorations were a mixture of white, gold, and black. There were also tables scattered throughout the venue with white tablecloths, gold chairs, and white and gold centerpieces. The dance floor was upfront with a live band and DJ on stage.

Cameron shook his head once he saw Jabari sitting at a table by himself, looking like a lost puppy. Kailani couldn't make it because she had a big photo shoot in San Antonio. The duo walked over to the table, and Bri placed her hands over Bari's eyes. "Guess who it is?"

Jabari laughed. "Girl, I feel that belly on my back."

Bri rolled her eyes and smacked the back of his head. "You're not funny."

Cameron laughed at the two and pulled out a chair for Brielle, allowing her to sit down. He squatted in front of her and unraveled her heels. Cam knew she was ready to take them off after they made an entrance. Bri sighed as he pulled the heels off her feet.

"Yea, this is my last time wearing heels until I drop." Bri wiggled her toes and let out a breath.

"I told you not to put them on any way. Hardheaded ass." Cam scolded her as he slid the heels under the table and placed her LV slides on her feet.

Bri rolled her eyes. "Shut up."

Cameron stood up and bucked at her before kissing the side of her face. He took a seat in the chair beside her and scanned the room, looking for his parents. His mama was walking around making rounds, and his dad was at the bar getting a drink.

"Bari, let's go to the bar. Bae you want something?" Cameron looked at Bri, who was engrossed in his phone.

"A virgin pinã colada." Cam nodded his head and stood up. He kissed her forehead and walked away, with Bari following behind him.

"Oh my god! Hey Bri!"

Brielle's head shot up and a smile broke out across her face. Essence was making her way to the table. Bri looked at her up and down, nodding her head in satisfaction. Ess had on an olive green satin dress that was tied across her shoulders and draped over her chest. Her accessories were gold, and everything complimented her skin complexion well. "I would get up and hug you, but this belly is in the way."

Essence smiled and waved her hand. She gave Bri a side hug before sitting down. "It's fine and, oh my! Haven't seen you since Christmas! How many months are you now?"

"Seven and a half, knocking at eight."

"Can I touch your stomach? I just wanted to make sure so I wouldn't make you uncomfortable."

Bri nodded her head, and Essence placed her hand on Brielle's round stomach. I can't believe I'm about to be an au—woah! Did the baby just move?"

"I believe you just woke your nephew or niece up. Say something, Cam and I have been calling him or her stink."

"Hi stink! It's your auntie Essence. I'm excited to meet you. Can you say hi?" The look on Ess's face was enough to send Bri into a laughing fit. Ess was sitting there in shock with her mouth open when the baby responded by moving again. She shook her head and pulled her hand back.

"I knew you was gay, over here feeling on my woman and Bri you letting her, the fuck?" Cameron walked up and mugged his sister before pushing the side of her head.

Brielle stifled a laugh. "Amari, shut up! She was rubbing my stomach."

"Yea, yea, she was a little too close. When did you get here anyway?" Cameron asked his sister as he sat back in his seat. He wrapped his arm around Bri's shoulder and pulled him into her, rubbing her stomach.

"I flew in late last night, and what you drinking?"

"Black Hennessy." Cameron shook his head as he slid the cup across the table because he knew she was going to ask for it.

"This chicken good as hell!"

Everybody looked up and saw Jabari approaching the table with two plates in his hand. He slid back into his chair and continued smacking on the chicken. Cameron shook his head, and Essence had her face turned up in disgust. "Boy, slow down. How did you even get a plate, let alone two?"

"Oh shit, this other plate is not mine, and I told Ma that Bri was hungry. So she told the servers that her pregnant daughter needed to feed her grandchild." Jabari humped his shoulders and slid the plate across the table to Bri, which consisted of baked chicken, string beans, macaroni, and a honey-buttered roll. They couldn't do anything but shake their heads because Bari was a true character.

After everyone one else was able to the eat, they took the party to the dance floor. It was now going on ten o'clock at night, and Cameron knew Bri was bound to crash soon. He tapped her thigh, and she looked over at him, smiling. "What?"

"Let's dance, and then we can go home because I know you're ready to go to sleep." Cameron stood up, holding his hand out. Bri scooted her chair back and he helped her up. They walked away towards the dance floor.

"I don't know how we gonna do this with my big ass stomach in the way." Bri shook her head as she wrapped her arms around Cameron's neck. He chuckled and kissed her lips before wrapping his arms around her waist.

Love of My Life x Brian McKnight was playing. The couple swayed to the song, and Cameron sang along softly, where only Bri could hear. "First, first time I looked into your eyes, I saw heaven, oh heaven in your eyes. Everything I did before you wasn't my worth my while. It should've been you all the time. I'll do anything and everything to please you."

Cameron broke away and spun Bri around so her back was on his front. As they swayed to the music, he wrapped his arms around her stomach and buried his face in her neck.He continued singing in her ear as they danced. "You know how much I need you. You're always, always on my mind and you're more than wonderful. More than amazingggg. Irreplaceable love of my life, you're so incredible here in these arms tonight. The irreplaceable love of my life."

Cameron placed a soft kiss on her ear and Bri smiled as they continued dancing to Brian's voice that flowed out of the speakers.
