《The Life Not Worth Living (HaikyuuxReader)》𝚃𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚗𝚊𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝

Ojisan left early this morning to the school, I was gonna leave with him, but he wouldn't let me skip school entirely. So I woke up about two hours before the tournament starts I started getting ready. After taking a quick shower I decided to wear a loose white long sleeve with some dark blue shorts. I topped my outfit off with by putting my black hair in pigtails and putting on a black cap.
(Your hearing aids are hidden behind your hair, they normally always are so the only people who know you are deaf are the teachers and now the four first years)
Once I was all done I looked at myself in the mirror, "Eh...could be worse." I muttered and put on my black converse at the front door. Then I grabbed my phone along with my wallet and keys then left my house. I double checked and saw Ojisan's car was gone, so I was safe to continue my walk. I decided to ride a bus since my destination was a little far, and once I'm on a bus I should be able to ride all the way to Sendai City Gymnasium.
There were lots of people here, too many people to my liking.
And I didn't even bring a mask or hand sanitizer, maybe Ojisan will have some.......oh right he doesn't know I'm here.
That's annoying but I can't go back home now so I just walked around the gymnasium hoping to find where the boy's volleyball tournament was being held. After wandering for a long time I realized I wasn't getting anywhere, so I guess I actually have to ask someone for help....eww.
I looked around and saw a group of boys with blue and white jackets that read 'Aoba Johsai Boy's Volleyball Club' so if they play volleyball they must know where the tournament is being held.
Okay (Y/N) just go up to one of them and ask....turn on social mode.
I walked up and there were two tall guys slightly away from the rest of the group. Great I'll just go talk to them, it's just less people to talk to and besides nothing could go wrong.
(#bigmistake)
As soon as the black haired female approached the setter and ace of Seijoh all eyes were glued on her. The rest of the Aoba Johsai team and surrounding guys had noticed (Y/N) and all her beautiful features. "Excuse me." she said quietly, yet her silky voice could be heard by all those around her. "U-um yes?" Seijoh's normal heartthrob was left speechless by the beauty of this tiny little girl. And the flat ass- I mean the setter had barely managed to respond to (Y/N) when she spoke to him.

"Sorry to bother you but do you happen to know where the boy's volleyball tournament is? I'm a bit lost." (Y/N) questioned. "O-oh yeah it's right behind those doors." Iwazumi the guy who normally takes notice of no girls just stuttered to the small first year in front of him. "Ah really, thank you so much." she responded and quickly bowed before leaving the two.
'I'm so stupid how did I not notice the giant door behind me!? Ugh that was the worst, I hate talking to people".
'Wahh that girl was so cute!! But how did she not fall head over heels for me like my fangirls?!".
'What the hell did I actually stutter because of a damn girl?!'.
'Damn those two their so lucky having such a pretty girl talking to them!'.
Once (Y/N) got into the gym she saw Karasuno preparing to play against Tokonami High 'Great the match didn't start yet'. So she walked up the stairs to the second floor where many people were watching different matches. (Y/N) went to sit behind the team's black banner that read 'Fly'. She found a seat that gave her a good view of the games below, but didn't allow anyone below to see her face clearly.
"Ah good we got here before the game started!" an older man yelled as he sat down with someone else. And yup we know who these are, it was none other then Makoto Shimida and Yūsuke Takinoue. Two members of the Karasuno Neighborhood Association, and (Y/N) tensed when she saw the two. 'Please don't recognize me. Please don't recognize me.' she prayed in her head.
The two men in front of (Y/N) knew her father since he used to play on the neighborhood association as well. But these two haven't seen her in a while, but she still thought they may recognize her and ask her some very unwanted questions.
"Tokonami High, I've never heard of them before." Shimida said. "Yeah me either! So maybe they'll actually have a chance!" Takinoue cheered. 'Idiots don't you know you can't just judge a team cause you've never heard of them, ugh I wish I could tell them off.'.

Then while (Y/N) was still telling off the two older men in her head the game started and we all know how this game ended. Karasuno surprised everyone with their crazy quick quick attack by the oddball first years.
All eyes in the gymnasium were on their shorty #10.
'Wow they used ginger as a decoy middle blocker, then did a quick attack with the fast and high jumping shorty, and used an insanely fast set from a genius setter, huh I guess these guys actually know a thing or two.' (Y/N) said to herself. She was actually kinda impressed with the two, and it's normally really hard to impress her. Actually it's pretty hard to get (Y/N) to show a person any genuine emotions besides annoyed, bored or just tired, any others are always fake.
So when she stood up and clapped for Karasuno at the end of the game she even surprised herself a bit. 'So Date Tech High is next, hmm the iron wall.'. "Phew I'm so glad they won." Takinoue sighed. "Ugh didn't you just say 'they're bound to win this game!' you damn old man." (Y/N) groaned but she accidentally spoke out loud. Her little outburst caused the two men to immediately turn their heads and see (Y/N) standing there with a piercing glare plastered on her face.
"What the hell are you doing here? Don't you have school?" Takinoue exclaimed once he realized who the girl was. "I skipped to watch, and I'm gonna watch the rest of the tournament too so I'll see you two later." (Y/N) said and got up from her seat to grab some lunch. "Oh and do me a favor and don't tell Karasuno I'm here, I'd be hunted down if they found out I didn't even show up to school." (Y/N) quickly said then slightly ran off before they could ask her anything else.
I was walking around the gymnasium hoping to find a vending machine. I need a milk box before we play against that 'iron wall'. Sugawara-Senpai said they played a game against them before and lost miserably. So we have to win this game no matter what, and like that Boke said make it to nationals.
When I finally found a vending machine I see there's already a girl satdning there and buying something. She looks kinda familiar, but then again I don't know any girls so it may just be my mind messing with me. As I got closer to her I started to recognize this girl more and more, but what girls do I know?................ Oh wait she's the girl that came to the gym yesterday with Takeda Sensei! And she's the same girl that we found crying on the roof the other day during lunch.
(wow Kageyama actually used his brain cells to figure it out)
But why is she here shouldn't she be at school?
Then I got a good look of her face when she turned slightly and looked at me.
Damn it, the same thing that happened yesterday is happening again today, I can't concentrate for some reason and my chest feels tight all of a sudden.
"Oh you're the Karasuno setter right?" I heard someone say really softly I looked down to see the girl holding a yogurt drink and looking up at me. "Oh uh yeah, aren't you the girl that was crying on the roof." I replied. Oh wait why did I say that, yesterday when the little idiot said that Takeda Sensei started freaking out, I wonder why. "Ugh why is the first thing you people mention is that you saw me crying." she groaned. She seemed annoyed, but for some reason it still seemed......cute?
Wait did I really just think that about some girl I don't even know??

Frameshift
Magic. Math. Not a whole lot of context. Two months ago, I was a wormhole navigator, ripping open a hole in the universe to save a ship of people who only vaguely tolerated me. Two weeks ago, long story short, I threaded an impossible path through the void between dimensions to crash-land into a dungeon. You know the kind: monsters to defeat, corridors full of traps to avoid, and magical powers to earn. I'm not ashamed to admit that it's been two weeks of loneliness, fear, adrenaline, and constant injury. But I'll make it out of here by myself if I have to, or my name isn't Adam Leviathan James. ... too bad the Levi doesn't stand for Leviathan, huh. AN: Expectations should include in medias res, violence, smut, friendship, and powers/progression systems with absolutely an insufficiency of context and (at least at first) no definitions or explanations, and magic-as-programming/engineering (with something of an emphasis on "what if magical runework were an analogue to circuit diagrams"). This story used to be called "Yet Another Godsforsaken Isekai". Discord server: https://discord.gg/dHh3XMMB4T Cover by the amazing Daedalus of The Way Ahead.

Limitless Adaptation
Jamie, 19, was walking into the kitchen for dinner when he suddenly found himself walking down a street in another world, a world with a game system. There, he meets a half-dragon, half-human named Adam, who faces adversity in most places, because of his parentage, and not long after they meet, the two of them are forced to leave town, due to Adam's beast nature. In the world of Tielmar, there are species of all varieties, a Class exists for nearly everything, and Skills come in quite a few forms. Jamie starts off with a Skill called "Limitless Adaptation", which supposedly allows him to adapt to any need, but is it really as powerful as it sounds? And more importantly - can it help him survive in a world where his first friend is a reject in all communities? Will Jamie, Adam, and the other friends and teammates they make in their journey find peace, allies, and love? Or will they fall to the powerful Adventurers that soon begin to hunt their team, to claim the bounties on several of its members, a bounty Jamie himself quickly finds on his own head? All of Book 1 is now posted, and Limitless Adaptation is officially done with the decision to rewrite. Credits for the cover go to me. That duck decided it wanted to nest in the flowerpot in front of my bank, so I took a picture of it.
