《The Life Not Worth Living (HaikyuuxReader)》𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙶𝚒𝚛𝚕

Kageyama silently admired the girl's features as she just stared at him awkwardly, (Y/N) was trying to see who he looks like most. 'Hmmm maybe..' but her thoughts were interrupted by Kageyama who suddenly decided to speak. "So are you here to watch the tournament?" Kageyama knew it was a stupid question, but the simple minded boy was just glad he didn't stutter. "Oh uh yeah, just don't tell Ojis- I mean Takeda Sensei." she said with a fake smile gracing her lips. "He'd blow a fuse if he knew I skipped school entirely to come watch." the girl giggled lightly, and an absolutely adorable giggle I must add. "O-Ok then, so uh do you know about volleyball?" Kageyama asked, yet he was internally freaking out because of (Y/N)'s earlier laugh.
"Oh.....uh yeah, I know about it." (Y/N) replied and sent him another weak and forced smiled, she didn't know why, but she didn't wanna show him the 'boring, carefree' attitude she showed everyone else. For some odd reason she wanted to show him the happier part of herself, the part of her that's been locked up for ages. The side of her that only they knew about, and was never truly shown again when they left.
But Kageyama being the dense boi he is didn't notice the strain in her smile, he just saw it as a beautiful sight.
And he sure way lucky to be seeing it.
"Wait if you know about it then do you pl-" but before Kageyama could finished a certain ginger popped up between the two. "Whoa your that girl from yesterday! What are you doing here?" Hinata exclaimed, and before (Y/N) could even form an answer in her mind Kageyama pulled the ginger by his collar. "BoKE you can't just interrupt people's conversations!" Kageyama barked and the two instantly started arguing.
While they were fighting (Y/N) just stared at them in awe, they looked like her brothers, they had similar personalities, and it made (Y/N) start to feel attracted to them. 'They must be the reason I'm thinking about the past so much.' was all (Y/N) told herself. "Now come on you two, there's no reason to argue aren't you on the same team?" (Y/N) questioned. She didn't notice it, but her voice sounded so happy and she had yet another small smile on her face, but this time the strain in her smile wasn't as noticeable, it just looked like there was a smiling angel in front of the two boys.

So of course the two instantly stopped their bickering and just stood silently in front of the girl, "Alright then let's head back to the court, I really wanna see how you two do against the iron wall." (Y/N) stated, trying her best to make her voice sound happy. Her slightly happy tone sparked a fire in the two first years and they were even more determined to win then before. "Yeah I'm gonna break through that wall and make it to nationals!" Hinata cheered.
"Nationals." (Y/N) mumbled, the word left a bitter taste in the girl's mouth, yet she still felt kinda happy around the two. "Yeah, now get going go, Ukai might hurt ya if you're late." (Y/N) explained and pushed the boys towards the big gym doors. "I'll be watching ya in the stands so make sure ya don't lose." she smiled and walked towards the stairs to head to the stands.
"Right!" was all the two boys managed to say as the black haired beauty walked away and out of sight.
I sat at the top and watched the boys from afar, they already seem intimidated by Date Tech and the game hasn't even started. It also seems like no one else has seen me, and if they have noticed me they can't call me out, none of them know my name. "Ah it's that girl from earlier!" I heard someone say, by the tone it seemed to be a boy. But I don't recognize the voice, so it can't be one of those Karasuno guys that.....shitzz I don't even know any of their names.
"Shut up Shittykawa she's watching the game like us so sit down!" I heard another guy say, his voice sounded slightly familiar. Hmm think (Y/N) think, wait maybe if I see their faces I'll remember. I looked back and it was those two guys that I asked for directions earlier, hmm but that one guy has a weird name, like who would name their kid 'Shittykawa'. Never mind that I don't want it to seem like I like those two since I've kinda been looking their way for a little while.

But sadly they still noticed me looking at them so I quickly waved at them and tried to smile a bit, but I'm already tired after forcing it so much with that tall setter guy and the ginger, that I should really learn the names of.
Now, as we all may know by now, (Y/N)'s forced smile is already enough to capture the hearts of all eligible bachelors in the area. So this girl would probably get her own harem in an instant if she gave anyone even a glimpse of her true smile....
Anyways back to the story, the Aoba Johsai players were trying their best to watch the game and keep their focus off the black haired beauty in front of them. While they struggled to keep watch (Y/N) was watching and predicting every move that both Karasuno and Date Tech were making. She would critique every players move, take note of all the mistakes or flaws, and then think of any and every improvement both teams could make.
And these are just a few of her harsh yet helpful comments on the match.
'Ah he shouldn't have waited that long to jump if he wants to block ginger's quick attack.'
'Idiot that set was way to low for that giant at Date Tech.'
'Why would you ever even attempt a spike at from that side the blonde beanpole is on that side!'
'Idiots idiots idiots, their receiving form is horrible, the only one who really know their stuff is the libero and number one!'
'Ughh watching these assholes 'play' volleyball is so fucking frustrating!'
'Is he really the team's ace, he looks like Jesus, but he sure as hell ain't strong enough to be Jesus.'
Ahh the cruel comments of a small fiery girl.
In the end, no matter how bad (Y/N) believed they did Karasuno still won.
"I guess we play Karasuno tomorrow." she heard the Aoba Johsai members say and start to leave. 'Huh Aoba Johsai, from what I've heard they have a great setter, I wonder which one of them is the setter.'. "Thanks for coming!" the boys yelled from down below, (Y/N) stood up to clap out of instinct since it's the polite thing to do, but she instantly regretted being a somewhat decent human being. "(Y/N) (L/N) what in the worldare you doing here?!" Takeda yelled once he noticed the first year. "Shhh Ojisan don't yell we're in public!" (Y/N) yelled back which was another big mistake. "Get down here now." Takeda demanded, a scary dark aura that no one has ever seen from him before slowly forming.
Normally she would retaliate, she would say no and walk off, but with the first years having their eyes on her, she can't help but listen. She wants to make a good impression, her heart is telling her that she needs to be a good role model for them. Yet her mind knows those boys aren't the same people she lost long ago.
They're only boys who just so happen to look similar to the one's she love .
So why?
Why does she feel so obligated to watch over them?

The Programmer's Dungeon [Progression, LitRPG]
Vincent, a college student from Earth, has been transported to another world full of strange powers and fantastic monsters. Ideally, this would be the start of his journey to become a legendary hero, build an everlasting empire, and gather a personal harem. But no one said that this new world would be easy… After escaping an assassination that accidentally befell him, he was forced to become a Dungeon Master. What will an average programmer student do when he finds out that he can code the dungeon? Vanquish those savages above with his tech and savviness — along with an army of golems? “Wait, this world isn’t even medieval?!” With all the questions piling up in his head, Vincent is set to uncover all these secrets! And… conquer the world, perhaps? The hard reboot of “The Programmer’s Dungeon.” It has an almost completely different plot, cast, and storyline, so expect tons of improvement from the old one. Disclaimer: This is a softcore LitRPG story; there are stats but no levels. Also, the LitRPG element isn’t the main focus of the story itself and is more of a support. I have enabled the reader’s suggestion, and therefore, you can correct any grammar mistakes and typos you find in the story. There will definitely be some that I miss. Cheers! The cover was made by Jack0fheart, so a shout-out for him. Releasing 3 chapters per week at 12.00 GMT on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday with at least 2000+ words.
